Very easy with a rifle and zerker gear. Take healing surge and/or signet of fury and you should be able to snipe every second plunderer (I saved this for the spawn point that closest to the pile of treasure). I used the mortars to charge up adrenaline when I had downtime (which is often, doesn’t take much to kill them). Take Bolas for some laughs if you want too.

Edit: I’ve done this several times, and have only lost at most 500g (1 plunderer) in a run (most often it’s a “perfect” game).

I’m calling for a nerf because how many tries does it take to figure that out? The scaling is poorly implemented. As many of the post’s are pointing to this conclusion. It reminds me of how badly implemented the scaling is on the Karka Queen. Which is mostly why Southsun is a ghost town again.

Ok didnt mean to insult you or anyone else. But it is suppose to be an ongoing mini game so nerfing it right away might not be the best.
So far I see that the vets are the major cause of the problem, these type of mini games are indeed better with hordes of normal foes instead of hordes of vets.

Why do i want to return the loot to the owner? Enough with the goody two-shoes gameplay.

Isnt the one in malchors leap giving you crafting mats during the puzzle? That is what I heard anyway.

I do not see the problem? There are always people trying to get some gold, and some are pretty kitten good at it. Noone “needs” the skinns so they are only worth somethign if there is enough demand.
Let them make their money, and hope you are lucky enough to get some keys.

Hmmm treasure hunting. Maybe finally we will see complete lockpicks or a use for all the broken en bend ones I wonder…..

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they will introduce polls or something similar in a while to see how we are doing.

Kicking from instanced areas are one of the worst things introduced in this game.

I have 4 lvl 80 chars and not done the end part of the game once. All people who I talk about it say it’s not worth the time it takes. :/

Cash in because new legendary’s are coming. It’s a guess that they will be something you like, but they are suppose to be easier to get.

I liked the mural painting of abaddon much more than the real version. I don’t know if that is his avatar or real form though.

10k is worth 10 achievment points? kitten that’s pretty low, it would be something like 100 and even than it’s kinda low.

Story-wise, I’d vote for Ellen Kiel (and that’s what I’m gonna do, probably).
Bonus-wise, I’m indifferent. I neither need cheaper waypointing nor BL keys.
Fractal-wise, I’m more interested in the Reactor, so again, Ellen Kiel.

But then my boyfriend pointed out something this morning that I hadn’t considered. The Abaddon fractal might come with new models/textures while the Thaumanova story wouldn’t require them. But I would like to see new models and textures. It’s still speculation, of course.

Anyway, before you lot welcome me to the dark side: I’m still going to vote for Ellen; however, if Gnashblad wins, I’m going to have fun with the new content anyway. And PS: waiting for him to d evil things and eventually removing him from his position will be fun, too.

If you mean new models and textures for the gods themselves, I will be really disappointed.

As WoodenPotatoes (lore guy) pointed out in his video, no mortal can look at the gods without going blind, and that is what made them mysterious. You can’t look at them.

There was only one mortal who could see them and that was Malchor the Sculptor.

So, I’m torn between wanting this fractal or not. Battle with a god sounds fun, but remember that the fractals is a small thing that you repeat over, and over, and over again.

To battle with a god should be special, and not something you do over, and over, and over again that you don’t even want to do the fractal anymore.

This also leaves me wondering if ArenaNet remember things like these, that the gods can’t be seen, and that the fight was over the Crystal Seas, and that makes me wonder how the fractal will be done if you can’t see the gods.

There are of course the avatars, this might be a solution.

Margonites….

Margonites which were just seafaring humans at the time. They didn’t turn into demonic beings until they were imprisoned in the Realm of Torment, where Abbadon’s magic seeped into them.

They made prertty good foes, for me atleast.

There is a jumping crystal in front of it. The crystal does not make any sense if it is not an intented way. I’ts still lame though, I won many times and not used it once.

Any chance of in game propaganda? I would love a temporary title to let people see who to vote for. Evon of course….

Depends on what we can do. If we play as five gods against abaddon I would like to see the trinity restored. It has to be more like costumed brawl in gw1. Predefinded rolls not depending on the professions who join the 5 man team. Just each one of the team is a different type of god/avatar.

Same experience as Lane, seemed not to work but after 10 minutes or so the inscriptions became readable and we could fetch the quest starter.

Who knows what it will lead to? It might be faction(s) related for all we know.

Anet could make this perfectly clear. I wonder if I missed it somewhere, because they seem to be a bit quiet about it.

Caldon forest is pretty easy with a friend. And also on a ranger with permanent speed boost.

Wich ones do you still need for the 16/16. I imagine you have the 8 infused crytsals one by now?

Sry, this really will my last post regarding this.
When did I ever complain?
My whole point was, and still, is, the fact that these badges
are-tailored-towards-a-specific-aspect-of-the-game.
They are useless for anyone else.
We’ll, perhaps not useless then, but certainly not considered valid rewards.

And that fact makes them a redundant part for anyone who has worked to his or hers achievement count in the hope that there will a reward at the end of it.
We did not expect that a big part of that reward would be of no use to us.

I’ve made no complaints, other than to point out that,
Anet, no matter how much PvP stuff you throw at me, I will never PvP.
I will, however continue to enjoy your PvE.

I don’t PvP either, but I use the badges for ascended gear. It’s the same as FREE laurels.

And yes, you’ve been complaining the entire thread.

Wut??? How do you do that? I have many badges too, I just dont know what to do with them because I never was interested in pvp. Maybe wvw but not untill I am finished with pve.
So basicly people who do not pvp, what do you do with the badges. I’ve seen people buying weapons and armour, can you use that in pve? I think not, but I dont know anything about it.

Here’s how that fractal is going to go down:
– start fractal
– run past a bunch of trash mobs summoned by Abaddon
– stop for about .5 seconds to look at the battle between Abaddon and the other five going on in the distance
– fight “legendary” boss summoned by Abaddon
– repeat or skip to heart’s content
– keep paying Evon taxes every time you sell something on the Trading Post

You’ve made up your mind in your own post. It would be best to find another game, its not gw1 and it never will be. Maybe neverwinter is more to your liking, it’s more like gw1 than gw2 is.

Everyone seems to be running around with a GS, it’s time to buff the other weapons a bit.

GW1 weapon contest solved the “Ugly” weapon part, well sort of. I would love to see legendary weapon taken from the gw1 contest, because they were just that, legendary.

Not a fan of more crafting, I want legendary drops. I do not like the current legendary crafting kitten :/

I am very disappointed in this event. The whole thing seems to be aimed at people who do well in jump puzzles. I don’t do well and avoid them whenever possible. All the racing, all the sky crystals and the find the kite events are all for people who like to do jump puzzles.
At this point I don’t think I can complete 16 for the node which makes the whole event very frustrating and annoying.
Perhaps I am in the wrong game? This is not fun but I have invested so much time into this.
Is Anet sending me and others who don’t like jumping a message to leave? I would really appreciate it if Anet would have events that were more equitable.

I am pretty bad in JP too, but I managed to get 16/16, and I dont even have all JP kites yet.

Thank you. This proves the point really – HoM achievements were converted to GW2 rewards for your characters (meaning: skins, pets, items, etc.) not to become converted to GW2 achievement points (which are not character-bound).

It does not really matter but HOM achievments are account wide too in gw2

Well, Anet released a historical mission pack for Guild Wars 1, which sold in the cash shop. It wasn’t really a group activity though, it was solo, but aside from that, it was far more story oriented than any dungeon in the game.

I think that Anet could do something similar for Guild Wars 2 (though I don’t expect them to do so). It would be pretty cool through of they did.

Those missions were awesome, easily some of the best in gw1.

On guild guru there is a nice addition to the forum. Vote for kiel and vote for evon in the profile. Could you please add something similar here, we need more politics in this forum =)

Same here, I am quite surprised there is no title for jumping puzzles. Such a big part of the pve game.
