Explanation was given in the patch notes the admission by the devs that some players/classes were getting credit for kills but despite reaching the required level of damage were not getting credit for loot

So seeing there was a fix for it yes i would say broken now fixed not L2P

I would be happy at 20s but i like 28 more than 42. When the price was so high i was selling rather than stocking now sub 30 i dont feel so bad throwing ectos into the magic toilet for clovers.

Sustainable at an even lower price, sure there are things like legendaries that consume a large chunk of ectos but you would think the bigger use is people equiping lvl 80s as there are more 80’s farming and fewer new80’s the supply/demand ratio will shift add in the loot changes and yes i think a lower price is here to stay.

Today I decided to farm a bit in Frostgorge while I was waiting for the Claw to appear. I roamed all over the northern area of Frostgorge killing all kinds of stuff as I went about. Funny thing is I droped at total of 60 large and 10 vicious claws. After the event I moved to WVW and what do you know……more claws. Pretty crazy. RNG is like a box of chocolates. I only whish I had such luck with the mystic forge.

Yes, if you were getting those nice superiors often then you lose some profit. But the vast majority get weak, low demand superiors. Overall the population might gain because any superior would be a nice bonus rather then a win or loss.

lets be serious for most people a couple of hours a day for a year for a slightly different set of pixels

Think of all the things you could do with 2 × 365hours or an extra month

Why do people hate dailys? Because its pretty much the most hardcore grind of any game ever; and I played the original Everquest. Even in all my days of raiding I never heard of anything as hardcore as this. Guild Wars 2 takes a month of grinding dailys just to get a SINGLE piece of gear, in that time you don’t even get the ecto that is also required for some pieces, just the laurels.

No. Plain and simple. Learn to do more than just AE tag mobs. These changes were made because people sat there all day tagging mobs. Champions were the perfect addition.

Everyone crying because they no longer make 5g and hour tagging mobs has to realise the loot system was broken and has been for months.

Half the people there killing the mobs were getting xp/karma credit but no loot credit.

In effect for the last three months you have been getting my loot.

Loot now drops as it should have back in november your free ride has ended its not coming back

There is a beautiful complex interesting world out there runing a—b—c for personal story and exp isnt starting the game let alone finished it.

Little caves events npc are all over explore not because you have to be at xxx for a quest explore for the joy of what is over that hill. Personal story is probably the worst part of the game now youve got that out of the way go enjoy GW2

Actually farming there is a lot better for many people…well me at least. The changes to loot and the mobs mean glass cannon warriors dont melt groups of mobs 0.005 seconds after they spawn so rather than one person geting loot 4 or 5 do and we get our dailies on warriors that cant adapt to change

People talk about chest drops but i think the bigger change could be from all the people that for months have been crying out that loot drops were nerfed into oblivion.
Now there has been the fine print admission that people were not getting loot credit for things they killed and this has been fixed expect that to cause market changes in a lot of items.

As a guest occasionally on TC i want to thank you for your comunity and welcome but im not there to steal your dragons or harass your zombies.

After so many months of only meeting people from TC when they were trying ( and usually succeding ) to kill me in WvW i wanted to visit.

As for the lack of bots at P/S their are either bots or some people are really slow learners.

Event starts beserk warrior sprints down the road into 8 mobs that are now a mix of normal vet champ AOE’s dies 3 or 4 others follow same result, perhaps lemmings find the warrior class attractive.

P/S was becoming a face roll for some classes, groups of mobs would melt before they were barely beyond their spawn point. People wernt defending camps but spawn camping mobs a mile from the base it was getting silly. It required all the skill of beating a sloth in a 100yard dash.

Now you actually need to fight occasionaly mobs last longer than a pico second and there are still resonable rewards for your time.
For a time some people got a ton of mats gold etc for next to no effort, to quote one player “I like to face rolls P/S while watching TV on the second monitor” it was going to change, it did change get used to it.

Short answer most people are kitten “scociety” forces them to moderate their natural behavior into some thing that doesnt get the crap beaten out of them 5 minutes after they walk out the door.

On line there is a limited ability to modify their behavior you see them as they are jerks that would rather kitten off a group because their run time is 0.005 milliseconds below optimal and waste 20minutes getting a new one .

This is an obscene amount of money compared to what many of us get. I might get that much gold in 2 weeks of play. I think it has less to with champions, which certainly does affect it, but it probably has more to do with the patch balancing kill credit a bit better so that high-burst damage dealers don’t have substantially better chance to get better loot. “Credit for killing creatures is now easier to receive in situations when many players are attacking a single target.” My hope was that they would dial low earners up, but if they dialed high earners down, I’m fine with that too, as long as everyone’s on an even playing field. As a guardian (based on a few hours one night so yea i know its not a real sample ) the drops were a lot better. If people were getting 5g a night farming pen you were rolling in it while everyone else was getting 50s if they were lucky.

A situation were some classes/players recived 10 times the reward that others recived has been corrected. Anet is not going to tweak things so every one gets 5g and certainly they arent going to change things back so a few players are rolling in cash while the rest of us are making 1000 post threads about why we get no drops.

Seeing we have been waiting 4 months for things to be evened out making 5g a night people got a 600g bonus before they fixed what Anet has now admitted was a problem.

I’m on Tarnished Coast, it’s so hard to search through there and sort out yourself between people who post the server with their guild, those that don’t. Those that are looking and so forth.

Best way to find i guild is simply play, look at the tags of the people around you.
That way you know
A: they represent their guild so presumably they are happy with it.
B: there are enough of them for you to notice.
C: they like doing the things you do.

Joined a lot of guilds over the years from forums in game spam etc never seemed to last. Back when i was playing Rift noticed that every night there were a big group from Gaiscioch running the same events/areas i was problem solved.

Im wondering the same, im in a large guild with a mainly US membership. The guild runs events and dungeons round the clock to help people not on server time.

If these are one time triggers completion wont be a problem but 50% of the guild is going to miss out on rewards.

Perhaps a few warriors should try another class they have been OP for so long they no longer even realise it.

If one food was such a HUGE advantage isnt it pretty kitten obvious that it needed changing?

A pity people are classist really there is nothing in game that cant be done with any competent group, was dungeon running on the wekend with a guild group 2 rangers 2 mesmers and my guardian it was great fun.

The other 5man doing he same was mainly warriors took pretty much the same time and longer on the ranged only fights.

A group that doesnt want a ranger doesnt deserve a ranger

Actually as a long time MMO healer i kinda like the lack of a “healer” i play a guardian and yes i add so many buffs in a group you need a second screen to see them, i ward i heal i regen but im not a “healer” if the warrior charges into 20 mobs and dies its his fault for being an idiot not my fault because i couldnt heal 5 times his health pool in 0.005 seconds

People are used to DPS being all reward and no responsibility, they get agro its the tanks fault, they die its the healers fault now you screw up its YOUR fault no one elses

Problem is that ever since the first Ranger people claim they are over powered so the class is continually nerfed to try and balance.

I do the events in the Norn starter zone to knock over the daily quickly usually end up with a pile of butter if your doing the events any way its handy

When I see people running around in orr without the map completion icon but do have a legendary I look down on them. Like when I see people in wvw with food boosts, I automatically think they are bad. I really shouldnt think like that but I do.
