It looks like its stuck to my left shoulder with velcro rather than a weapon being worn and when you use it the left hand just hands in the air

Honestly I don’t think this would be such a problem to make personal on Your screen, just have Anet ad a option in game to change that color on your computer. Let it be hot pink. (I actually favor hot pink because it’s easy to see /shrug)

Love the idea would solve it for almost all the variations of color blindness if people could pick what they prefer. Though personally i would still need red flashing lights and a siren Alert Alert Alert, i have a reputation for standing in aoe sadly.

Never been a fan of healing crits. To balance for the increase from the crits you need to reduce the base healing.

I have good vision, but I have a hard time telling the difference between friendly and hostile Necro wells. Yeah, the hostile wells have a thin, red ring (much narrower than other rings), but it’s hard to see under the well’s border effects.

I also have a problem, and my guild makes fun of me for this, telling friendly and hostile fire elementalist AoEs apart (especially Lava Font). I’m always dodg rolling out of friendly spells :P

I dont think your alone doing the charr story line it took me a while to work out when i was standing in a good aoe or a bad one.

You know the number of times I’ve been left with no reward from a dungeon glitch is so high, I think it’s really unfair to reimburse people for this event when others of us should have many hundreds more dungeon tokens and chest rewards that we’ve lost out on due to ArenaNet bugs.

Thats plain and simple. You can do dungeons again. You cant do Karka event again since its “one time only event”.

Well more correct to say it was ment to be a one time event. Probably too late for suggestions but rather than trying to work out where every character on every account was so they know who was in who was out and who was trying.
Flag the people who have looted the chest, run the event one more day, preferably not 9am monday NZ time, make it clear the chest is once per account so you dont have people shut out while others run the event 3 or 4 times.

Those that missed out get to experience the event, those that got booted by the reset get to finish.

Yes i know its another three hour grind for those that had their finger tips on the chest when things reset but just an idea.

It subjective certainly the mobs are closer together and the respawn time seems faster so i do know i end up fighting them more and the amount of cc they have means the usual run past dodge and ignore them on the way to that vista tatic doesnt work.

A couple of issues with the “bags of gold” that are now found in the satchels looted from dungeon champions:

1. Is there even a remote chance of them containing 1 gold?

A bag of gold does in fact contain 1g however there are a few minor deductions that may from time to time cause the amount to be slightly less.

Deductions may cover:
City tax
The Lions arch Lighthouse rebuild fund
Save the Quaggan fund
People for the Ethical Treatment of Dragons deduction
The Feilds of Ruin rebeautification allowance.
The Dev winters day party voluntary donation

I want people to be happy because lets face it spending your time in game with happy people is better than spending your time in a group session at a depresion clinic.

I don’t understand why gamers feel that developers are their slaves and should be in constant contact with them. I see this a lot lately and not just with this game. So many times, players get on the forums and complain about how the developers don’t spend enough time on the forums responding to every little complaint. Really, it’s getting rediculus. Developers have better things to do than respond to all your complaints, like working on fixes. I have to think that developers wish they could give some players their money back just to make them go away.

Because those of us that have been around a while have seen it work. After you see a dev loved by the comunity for their effort and comunication you hold others to a high standard.

Based on previous experience there will be a “special chest” or “specialskins” for the new event.

The chance of actually getting one of the special items from opening a chest will be on par with the odds of the Nevada lottery so dont be upset if you go through 300keys and not get what your after.

I would assume it would take a while to prove who was actually there and whos lying about not getting the chest. Sounds like that would be pretty hard to do and would take a very long time to make it fair for everyone.

Seeing the servers were creaking like the knee joints in a geriatric NY marathon who was there and couldnt get in/there and couldnt get to the chest/there and got kicked might be hard to prove.
Gives you two choices, spend a ton of time and recources trying to work out who was where when or give a reward pack of some sort to everyone.

Yes there will be people that say i spent 3hours doing it no one else deserves it but there were people that spent 2hours 59 minutes doing it that missed out.
When there do you draw the line, logged in , logged in the instance, logged in the instance and got xxx kills, you cant make it “fair” to everyone but you can minimise the angst and the cost by keeping the solution simple.

I do like that there are little chests in out of the way places.

Simplest solution:

Send every character a free 20 slot bag, any other guaranteed items acquired and another bag that has a chance to contain any of the random items available at the end of the event, whether they participated or not.

This will be the most viable solution to fix what was admittedly a poorly executed event.

Put a bow on the bag include a note saying happy wintersday cost perhaps one hour for a programer?

A lot less than the cost of leaving the problem unsolved.

Due to the problem of complaints from people who recived multiple precoursers during the event and dont want those of us that were kicked or had our instance closed driving down the price a compromise reward has been introduced.

Rather than the Ancient Karka, those diconected will recieve the Ancient Kaka reward, these are being rolled out individualy check you doorstep for smouldering bags over the next few days.

It is crazy that all way points can become contested bugged or not, ok a is contested i use b an run a little further but having an entire zone closed down is just crazy.

Do i run/fight across the entire zone to try and do some thing on the chance ill die and have to start all over or just log off and play some thing else
