What the hell does a 5v5 have to do with 1 warrior vs 1 warrior?
I don’t have that many people to make a 5 man group.
If I just grab 3 other people we won’t have the practice as a team that your gank squad gets playing with each other every day.
there is no greater balance and test of skill than a mirror match.
I understand if you feel you need your team to carry you but it’s 1v1 or nothing. I’d be afraid of me too.

After the 500th time of correcting you that I wasn’t the warrior with sword/sword and longbow I also told you I only run with Ryan. Most of my guild does PVE. Occasionally they come in WvW but that isn’t enough to justify a 5v5. That’s all you do all day and I’m supposed to play with people who do it every few weeks?
Long story short. I trust my own performance. I don’t trust people I don’t pvp with all the time.
And that’s funny you say you don’t have any experience on the warrior. Somehow I expected that. Running around WvW isn’t as risk free as a thief, ele, mesmer or necro but it will put hair on your chest.
You think running around WvW solo as a Necro is less risk then running around as a warrior with the free get away sword leap? Are you serious? Do you even wvw bro?
Warrior is my least experienced class because it’s the last one of my 5 that I leveled up… Working on my Guard now, Engi will be next.. I will ‘run around wvw’ with all of em, regardless of risk..

yes. YB and SBI are bigger and better zerger servers. Since ive transferred to NSP i have captured a total of 3 towers and 1 keep over a period of a few months. I dont care about winning/score neither do the rest of us

I have taken at least: 10-15 towers, flipped camps 40+ times, and taken keeps (hills an bay) at minimum 15 times, all since the restart, as have just about everyone on all the servers.
So for you to say ‘3 towers and 1 keep’, is absolutely absurd, unless you have only spent 30 minutes in wvw over several months. So please, don’t say that the rest of us don’t care about winning or points.

Stealth and then that sprint will cover a ridiculous amount of ground. You sprint longer and farther if you keep holding the ability down.
When he disappears at the end he might have gone out of combat for a waypoint. Since it covers so much ground you will get OOC pretty quickly after using the sprint.
Yeah, this. I was also thinking he could have had a flesh worm set up for the first teleport since I didn’t notice him transform when he was next to them.
Look, I am not saying that Physical Training itself is OP. Heck, if it was just lowering it to Adept, I would at most think it’s a pretty random thing to change.
But Daecollo isn’t suggestion just that. He’s also wanting a trait that doubles the healing Mending does. Basically, a 10 point trait that would turn Mending from 5,240 to 10,480 hp heal. That’s higher than a full adrenaline Healing Surge, along with having a lower cooldown and removing 3 conditions.
Go ahead, try telling me that doubling the base heal on Mending wouldn’t be drastic and potentially very OP.

the trait doubles only the DAMAGE of physical skills, not simply their effect or eventual healing or anything else. The only benefit mending would get from becoming a physical skill would be the reduced cooldown

Everything with a cast time can be interrupted.. Yes this means ‘auto attacks’ too, even if it’s 1/4 second cast time it can be interrupted. This is what makes my confusion warrior beat thieves so easily I block to bait auto spam then shield bash for an interrupt.

I have been wondering why the runes didn’t have an internal cooldown. Something like 15 seconds or so. The reasoning for this is quite simple: the proc on the x6 bonus is superior to every confusion skill in the game.
Every. Single. One. Let me give some examples:
Confusing Images: 5 stacks for 5 seconds. 15 second recharge.
Pry Bar: 5 stacks for 5 seconds. 15 second recharge.
Concussion Bomb: 5 stacks for 5 seconds. 18 second recharge.
Pain Inverter: 3 stacks for 5 seconds, 30 second recharge.
Sonic Shriek: 5 stacks for 5 seconds. 25 second recharge.
Cry of Frustration with Illusionary Retribution: 6 stacks for 3 seconds. 30 second recharge.
Notice a trend? Highest is 5 stacks for 5 seconds, at a 15 second recharge.
The rune set gives 5 stacks for 10 seconds, no recharge. The only limit to this is whatever access you have to interrupts, and many classes can stack a whole lot of interrupts. This rune set gives confusion twice as potent as every other confusion skill in the game, and it does this as freely as your ingenuity permits.
There is nothing about it that doesn’t scream “overpowered”. Those runes are awesome, and I want to have them on nearly every condition set I own. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I am almost certain that they’ll be nerfed in the future. If they aren’t nerfed, then the entirety of 1 vs. 1 combat becomes dictated by a rune set from strictly temporary content.
Looks to me that you have limited knowldge about the game .
Warrior master trait in strenght -Distracting Strikes – applies 4 stacks of confusion for 8 seconds. .
Also why you say no recharge ? It’s not like cc’s don’t have cooldowns and someone can just endlesly spam them.And most cc’s have a lot longer cooldowns then the skills you posted .Thief as an exception but he would waste all his initiative and wouldn’t kill anyone on just confusion( and even worse ,get killed himself )
Rune only aplies 5 stacks so you basicly need to interrupt 5 times to get to 25 stack .Gl having 5 ccs equiped(and all of them interrupt an oponet’s action too).War can get 9 because of the trait,but since it sits in power makes any condition build kinda useless.Also the warriors weapons that have ccs are pure power based so either you go condi build with no bleeds/burns at all(gl with that),or you go power wich will make the damage of confusion unoticeable making the runes subpar.
They are nice runes for some lolz,but OP? not even close.Try fighting against a decent player.
The warrior power line is also the condition duration line for one thing. I ran a build with sword/shield mace/sword and it was RIDICULOUS. Beyond broken. I used stomp and kick as utilities. So that’s 5 interrupts with several of them on low cooldowns and fast casting. I found it very easy to bait/land interrupts against most classes. Ironically the hardest class to get interrupts on was Warriors. In 2 interrupts I would get 21 stacks of confusion which are hitting around 4500 damage per skill and lasting a very long time (with my extra duration). On top of that I had immobile on cripple (so my very low CD gap closer immobiled), torment on a low CD and flurry + sword autos. Even without the interrupt confusion the build was ridiculous but the confusion from those runes made it way over the top.
Thanks female human guardian commander from LOOT that lead the group to fight us behind windmill yaks bend bl, was the most fun I’ve had in a while for small man roaming.

Actually the funny thing about this is after a week of fights, and two compliments in this thread from our guild, you post a 50 second video of you getting the drop on a group and bursting them, in an effort to mock them.
Congrats, with the 6 – 10 months of practice you guys have likely had together, you were able to do that to an equal-sized group of people who have been playing together for around a week.
I can guarantee you none of our people taunted, trolled or disrespected you in any manner. We spent a good deal of time the latter part of this week in south BL to get some practice fighting decent players, and some of us tried to bring some fights in a misguided effort to see you guys wouldn’t get too-too bored.
All we’ve learned here is what treating you with respect earns us, and that’s actually the funny part.

If you can’t see the humor in this video of a surprise lolburst of a whole group, then you take the game way too seriously. If the same thing happened the other way around I would be laughing at them too, even though I highly respect them as skilled players, but I happen to know they are lighthearted with a sense of humor and don’t take the game seriously.
Change it to something like this, it shouldn’t require full adrenaline to use. No other healing ability in the game has such a requirement, just a bonus heal for getting it better.

Seems to me like other classes do have these types of requirements(and are those classes best heal), ones that can in fact be harder to meet. On top of that, the warrior one has a higher base heal.

IoJ likes Parties per tick and objectives. Ideally we like to have at least 4 keeps so we can have enough space for all the parties per tick to happen at once without getting too crowded. Sometimes the parties are a bit too big and we need to expand the party over to another keep or the castle, but it’s usually temporary.
Usually stuff gets broken during said parties, but then again, during the ‘multi team’ parties when everyone else comes over to party with us, our stuff gets broken too, so it’s kind of an unspoken rule that whoever moves back in picks up the tab on the new drapes and carpets and such.
But yeah…parties. mmmmmm….

I love the invite feature, my friend list has 20x more enemies then server friendlies on it. In fact several of my guildies I met from an enemy server. I’ve out of 100’s of times partying with the enemy got trashed talked only a few times. And for those times instead of losing my cool I just talked to them and we ended up on good terms.
Oh and the “spy” argument is completely irrelevant. There are so many other, easier ways to “spy” if someone wanted to.
No problem with fight clubs or fight night but…just not on my map (nawt in mah backyard…hyuck!) Again EB jump puzzle gets suggested over and over and for some reason i never get a response. Never a yes, or a no, or a screw off, or an explanation why not, or anything! It’s strange. It’s like that on other threads when I’ve mentioned it, too.
So…how come you guys don’t use the EB JP? It’s even siege locked <3

Several reasons- The terrain sucks is probably the top one. Windmill has several open areas just the perfect size for these types of fights. EB-JP is notoriously a place where trollish gankers like to hang out, making it probable duels will get interrupted. And a lot of the time (especially for NSP since we don’t ever rly set up “fight clubs”), these things happen spontaneously. Maybe we run into a group while we are out roaming and they fought well or something, someone gets invited to party one thing leads to another and 10 ppl from each guild are dueling behind Windmill..
And just an FYI, you should be happy we are “fight clubbing”. If we weren’t we most likely would be running circles flipping ALL of your camps looking for a fight.
Yawn……. More transfers…….. One thing is consistent, NSPers definitely the most loyal and we hardly ever get transfers, unless its the singles looking to better themselves….

Throw gunk is one of my favorites. And to those breaking stealth with it. Try throwing it WITHOUT someone targeted, and actually use some thought on it’s placement. Then maybe you might learn it’s usefulness.
Also (rich) warriors are getting around with -98% condition duration. But it still hurts sometimes.
lol no. The -98% total only applies to chill/cripple/immobile, which don’t do any damage anyways. Not only that – Warriors are not the only class who can achieve that.

Yes, adrenal health every three secs, but then for 360 points or more. This are 120+ Points per sec.
So adrenal healing + the signet heals you for 500+ Points every sec.
I’ll grant you that.. But again, in the video he was commenting on, the warrior spent almost no time at all with full Adrenaline (except when he was running away into his spawn). Any warrior actively fighting is using his burst skills and not reliably getting the full effect of Adrenal Healing.

these suggestions dont aim to “balance things out” in a final sense.. i just want to get rid of totally broken stuff. they are the first step that needs to be taken, balancing anything else is completely ridiculous in the face of these issues.

NOP. If it’s in IOJ bl and there’s not many (any) IoJ there, go to your own bl. If a server hosts it, have it on your bl. When our south camp keeps getting flipped, we’re gonna wipe you regardless. I’m sick of our bl being used for this kitten. I know you roamers think you’re the bestest when you can solo us while we run (yeah I run zerg busting build and do no dps, congrats for taking me down while I run to defend something) but 99% of the time I’m just trying to scout for our bl and defend objectives.
Also, really cute NSP building golems in vale. I’m glad I got curious and suicided in there to see all those alphas right before you portaled them. I love spoiling the fun. You can jump on me in the golems as much as you want, but our keeps are still fortified with waypoints… since reset night. GG.

Don’t forget that Backbreaker should give permanent, unbreakable knockdown. Maybe we can do the same for the blowout on Stomp, and send people flying into walls FOREVER.

I think when you use stomp it should teleport everyone hit to the nearest cliff and push them off of it.
As I said before, All Servers have good and bad players. Acting like NSP is some god tier server doesn’t make it so. We also have good and bad like everyone. And you act like NSP has never 2v1 ANYONE, and if you say you haven’t you’re a dirty little liar and you embarrass your server. But in the end we still win, coverage or not. When we come into WvWvW we play to win, not run around picking on people trying to run somewhere alone. So yes, while you may have good roamers, doesn’t mean kitten really.
Edit: ESPECIALLY when half your roamers are thieves who run glass cannon builds because they’re too brain dead to do anything else but one shot people

What is NSP? Well compared to DH – it’s a much lower population server with skilled players who actually know how to use their chars and skills. NSP also boasts a large roamer population who doesn’t give a crap about pressing 1111 while ramming a door down, rather looks for the good/exciting fights in the field.
When I say DH is bad, I don’t mean their pvdoor skills, those are top-notch. What I mean is, they are for the most part skill-less when it comes to using their characters in a field battle. Not only that, but many of DH are cowards who will only fight with 2to1 odds in their favor, however still usually end up losing.
If you question my opinion about the lack of skills possessed by the average DH player well, just watch the couple vids NSP players have released this week and see for yourself.
SBI is much better server than Darkhaven or NSP. We do the most with the least guilds of any server on NA. Darkhaven only barely wins these matchups because of their absurd coverage after NA SBI starts going to sleep.
All you have to do is look at the charts to see that the only reason SBI is as close in score as they are is because of “coverage”. You get the most points out of the early morning hours, before and around 8 am server time. DH on the other hand is garnering its PPT spikes during reset and NA primetime. That’s not us having “coverage”, unless you’re going to pull an IOJ and show me your Australian birth certificates.

It is hard to find a bad combo because there is no to limited synergy in this game. In fact, it is hard to find a good combo too.

@OP I would take a condi Necro as a Warrior leveling buddy any day of the week. You round em up and use your cleaves while he destroys them with aoe conditions.
i killed both of you 2v1 in the water, then i killed both of you 1 v 1 as i tried to make my way north, killed the colonel a 3rd time, and then a THIRD kittening warrior comes and its a 3v1 with me at 25% hp at the beginning of the fight, obviously you are going to kill me when all of my utilities are on cool down after killing you bad wars multiple times.
but now I regret it… so many bags missed sigh… if only I had been on an AC…. oh wait nvm I still got a lot of bags <3

seems like you guys can only hold in bunker groups, so please don’t come here and act like you’re really skilled xD that is just hilarious when it comes to 1v1 you are awfully bad you are way to dependable of your bunkers builds….. but hey! in the end you guys manage to cap camps…. attaboy!
