Then pls say you talk about PvP or cheap WvW-gank builds.

In PvE I think the trait is quite awesome and you will play without GS and only Axe/mace or Axe/sword with 20 in tactis for Empored Allies.

Why?

A. There is no reason to go 30 in arms while duel wielding Axes or maces in the off hand.

B. The only weapon worth going 25 deep in arms is swords. That is only for power builds w/ swords.

what the ….. r you talking about? You play the warrior meta build 30/25/0/0/15 with greatsword and axe/mace or axe /sword

axe /sword dps > greatsword
with the increased dps its possible i think you play completly without greatsword and spend 20p in tactis fpr eompowerd allies

if you talk about pvp go play your hambow and shh shh shhh

@ TE: pls stop ganking in wvw and judge about classes when you play real pvp.
everytime i see people complaining and making videos, they are people ganking in wvw and killing absolutly idiots.

Lol. Any Greatsword / Sword build inst really viable in pvp and only good for wvw roaming. every other duell build like ax/sword longbo or hambow is stronger.

nope. highest hp has necro, guard has the same tough. the rediciolous mobility you have,when you play weak builds with gs or sword, + more is what? the missing classmechanic that he has to facetank every dps? gimme blinds,stealth,evades,clones or anything else and you are allowed to reduce my hp.

I have 31k~ kills. My Zerg-skills are below 0 because I dont run in Blobs and be proud when I kill pug zergs. ushually I run alone or in a 2 men group.
I dont take baths in waterfields because its usless when you dont play in a stupid melee hammer train.
Iam also fat play videogames all day and I think gold is the most important stuff.

Against good oppenents the Lyssarune is needed. It isnt good because of the 10% condiduration, it is good because of the full condition clean and aegis.

In 1vs1 against terror-dhuumfire necro it is neccesary. But you shouldnt waste bersercer stance at the beginning you have to clean spite signet with Lyssarune and then you activate bers stance. therefore corrupted boons will not work.
Without lyssa runes you will drop down , if you are in a fear chain

Lets have annother Legendary Axe. maybe a fire axe which you can craft with frostfang to an axe that is an ice axe which throw flames by critical hits

Correct me if I’m wrong here but you keep referring to sPvP in both your posts, while you may be right about how bad ranger is in sPvP, I believe the OP made his original comment in a WvW thread so I’m taking a wild guess he wants to know strongest 1v1 build/class for WvW. Also judging from topic title 1v1 class I’m presuming he wants to roam and roamers need to be able to solo flip camps which is super easy when you have a pet

I’m not saying Ranger is best by default nor any class, Ranger is definitely one of the strongest classes in the right hands, but so is any class like a decent engie or guardian. Some classes click for some people and some don’t.

Rangers can be an easy class to learn, it’s nothing special but this is what I did as my 1st time roaming in WvW with a new build and weapon set, somehow came out ontop of a 1v3

right then i missunderstood the thread i thought it deals with a “classic” 1vs1 for example behind the mill, because there is no difference . doesnt matter if you fight the 1vs1 in 1on1 arenas or in wvw

if you take a look in roaming where you also fight "bad " players in outnumbered situations ranger is truely strong and has the advantage that it is easy to learn because he has alot of good builds with low risk and high reward.

iam german ,too add me and we can go togeather in 1vs1 arenas. i can show you some decent and strong guards

nope, off guard is pretty aewsome in 1vs1. A lot of people plays him atm in 1vs1 arenas

then you have absolutly no idea. offguard is atm one of the strongest 1vs1 classes. rank 1 of the leaderboard is a guard btw.

Which is the strongest 1vs1 class,you can see easily in 1vs1 arena.
At the moment is the strongest : S/D-thief, Hambow-Warrior and Terror dhuumfire necromancer or offguard with scepter and greatsword. Then phantasm mesmer with prisamtic understanding and spirit ranger.

You can take a look in the solo leaderboard and the 1vs1 tournements that especially S/D thiefs, off gudards and hambow warriors are on the top.

Nice! Go on Vizunah ! You show clearly that you are the better server than SFR and the number 1.

The current state of the warrior?

Well, either you can play weak builds and get pwnd or you play lame builds like condition heal sigend warrior while you are saying : " play lame get fame"

Its so ridicioulus. Iam forced to play weak builds, that I dont have to feel ashame.

Gj anet. They didnt nerf the meta builds, on the contrary they buffed them while now “Mesmer-terrorists” are just annoying.

If anet won`t nerf some skills soon, I will stop duelling and roaming. It`s so ridiculous, everytime I met people who are up for duells, they are spirit rangers, condition phantasm mesmers with PU, condition warriors with healing sigend or perplexitiy-trolls.
Afterwards they are surprised, wherfore I don`t want to duell these guys.

At this moment Vizunah is a lovelier oppenent who spent more time in fighting in smaller groups than SFR.

Done a few 1on1 fights against a mesmer and it was fun. Full Adrenalin and especially signet of health feels great. Good healing, invuln. when i activate berserker stance and endure pain ( 25% stance inccreased) and 20 seconds invlun. with rampage ,too.
Love the changes

In 1on1 rampage make you for 20 seconds invuln. and you have also nice skills to take pressure on your enemy.
Healing signet is awsome now. Like the patch really much. We need only now a trait which give us regeneration with every movment skills
