He wants to destroy condi builds and easily kill them. Just learn to play guys.
as i know a power rev has far more tankiness, sustain as power damage than condi! Same for scrapper or druid. You talk about the war but actually the power berserk is not bad, high damage with a ton of condi and power defense, exactly the same as condi build! You have a signet with 6 sec of resistance with 20 sec icd, with a rev and a good rune, and trait you can run a 10 sec of resistance with 16 sec icd. Stop complain dude actually power thief plus rev plus war and scrapper are not disgusting in a team.

Condi are powerful because of chill, weakness, blind, cripple etc. The condi damage is less than direct damage! And ig you want a chrono or repaers in power damage, just give them decent build.

Third, in pve and wvw power damage overdominate condi. You have not the time to stack condi that you are already down. So you complain to improve your build but not really objectively.

To play condi, we sacrifice a lot! First we are forced to run condi trait line. In power build you can run all trait lines if you want. For example, illusions which is a mandatory trait lines for condi build can easily be run by a power build. So the build diversity in condi is less important than power.
We can discuss a lot of time of this problem but i have to conclude: why you accept that a berserk can hit you at 11k with one skill in a power build but you dont accept that the same class can also burst you as fast with a condi build? Condi is a way to do damage not a support or whatever.

Couple things..

1. ANet is gonna do what ANet is gonna do, regardless of what anyone thinks, because its their business. Lose players. Gain players. It matters little, unless profits drop, which they really haven’t.

2. Which leads me to: These forums and subreddit. Many people love to do absolutely nothing, but complain. Too much to do. Too little to do. Not enough this. Too much that. And etc, etc. If you read all the negative posts now, everyone is complaining about a content drought, instead of being happy with what was, and moving on to something else to play, during the interim. Honestly, you don’t have to play this game 24/7, 365. I swear!

3. Alot of people bought into the negative hype from the forums and subreddit, thus it began to reshape their impressions of this game, forgetting that even Blizzard had issues with deploying content the first 2 years, as they were expanding faster than they could manage. All of these negative thoughts, and expressions tend to guide the weak-minded into believing this is the worse game ever, which it really isn’t.

4. Due to the expansion, and after Colin had left, ANet woke up, and started paying attention to things. They started communicating more. Even Mike O’Brien popped in, and even though he brought bad news, bad news is better than no news. So KUDOS! to that. He was honest. Something ANet often portrays the opposite of.

Things ARE changing, but you have to be patient. Take a break. Go play something else for a few months, because there are plenty of great games out there, that you’ll burn through the content, and be just in time for next update for GW2.

Its that easy. Lets just be happy with what we have, and eagerly await new stuff, without being toxic and judgemental.

Man, lifes too short to go around stressin over stuff like this. Especially with all the bad things happening in the world right now. Be happy that you can log in every night, and burn the day’s stresses away on something. Many people don’t have that ability, and live in an anguish neither you or I can imagine.

Woaw this guy has impressed me. Respect, nothing else to say.

Remove Gyro Stomp or Add other OP stomps

I am not scrapper but stop always cry about the same classes it’s absurb. If you want to delete stomp gyros just give them a real elite mechanic, like all others elite!
I dont understand why is it normal for ele, war and thief to be overtuned? Other profession can aslo have their own things. Always cry about absurd reaper, ingi, druid, chrono but actually tempest/war/thief are just over the top. So let the poor scrapper his finish and try to thing about how counter it.

Hello, first there are some good ideas dude but you are in a lot of case so rude with your proposition. The amulets and rune propositions are really interesting!
For each professions:
1) ranger: i think you are right, just attention to dont increase a lot the cd

2) revenant: you are really rude! Actually the condi rev build is not with a good spot because of lacking defense, so if you down condi duration add some defensive tool to axe and mace. For the rest i have to agree but less rude

3) warrior: nothing to say, good ideas so far

4) necro: nice to down condi stacking but you have also to decrease aoe spamming (from death shroud) and to increase necro mobility option!

5) engi: if you increase all hammer cd you create an unfunny weapon… The #2 is supposed to be a short cd spell 9sec is too high! Maybe decrease damage but dont touch to the cds! Other ideas are good,

6) elem: do you play elem? Or what´s the problem ? Elem is the unique mandatory classe per team in pvp actually, how is it possible to have so much healing, defense, damage, aoe , condi, cleans, boons in one build? Ele and scrapper are quasi the only classe that permitt noob players and errors in the gameplay without a big loose…. The lost part of legendary players are tempest so

7) thief: who said that thief is in bad spor right now? Have you ever fight a good thief? It´s one of the most hard class to fight. The only problem of thief is aop spamming and condi, if you kill aoe and aoe condi, they will be unstoppable. Sorry you talk about 12 thief ressources but actually thieves down you just by spamming dagger or staff 1. They need a serious rework.

8) mesmer: good ideas, but staff one have to put fire and bleed maybe not vulnerability. The big mesmer problem is that in small fight is so op but in group fight he becomes really poor (illusions dies quasi instantly) => work on it.

9) guard: i have a problem with guard. They run an ultra offensive stat. So the fight is trap trap burst burst if you are not die, is block block block… Block and after trap trap trap and the die if you are not down. Hum the gameplay is always the same.
Add a small thing, traps cds begin when the trap trigger. Because the dh can wait at a point and litterally double trap!

Thanks for you work guys it´s globally interesting to have the point of vue of others players. I want to say also;

A) Anet give us build diversity in pvp, stop make trait line mandatory! Like water for elem , inspi for mesmer etc !!!

B) pls control the condi spam, the condi build are far superior when they are packed. (But make condi build viable in pve and wvw)

C) in the previous season you work to improve some not played weapon it was a really good idea! But you have to continue because a lot of weapon are really poor actually , some examples:
- guard: mace, a healing or defensive weapon??? Useless
- ingi: rifle: a range weapon but the major spells are close, so you spam 1. Gives him one defensive tool and make all spell range (maybe add effect if they are used in close fight )
-mesmer: staff: nice defensive weapon but rework the aa, the fantasm, the skill 4!
- ele: scepeter need a serious rework, the old changes are nooy enough
- rev: mace, decrease the condi duration but add defensive tools
- thief: sword/pistol: rework pls
- war: axe: really nice aa but for a physical weapon it laks of mobility maybe add a jump
- necro: axe: so boring and spammy, make this weapon more fun. It´s all about damage without condi or defensive tool.
- ranger: gs: good weapon but the dps is not high compared to other gs (you have to use all offensive trait line to have a decent damage)

Totally disagree, tempest is the only one mandatory class per team, with this bunkerish, dps, cc, condi, clean, aoe pressure, team impact!
All class have one build it´s true and it´s a real problem!
Condi are a poison in pvp so all class run the only one cleanse trait line they have, plus the elite=> 2/3 trait line are mandatory so 0 diversity build.
To counter power damage you can run toughness, boons, blocks etc BUT to counter condi actually you are forced to run the cleanse trait lines… (Inspiration, warter/earth, etc)

Oh boy the mesmer fairy tale is not a good idea (hate bard idea;). The mesmer need a melee option. They said that firstly they think about hammer for mesmer instead of shield. It is amazing idea!
Imagine a spec where the mesmer can have fantasme with hammer that knokdown or whatever. The intensity of the control depend on the number of active illusions.
The specific power of mesmer is chaos so the idea is a chaos warrior, which creates chaos in the battlefield with cc, and control condi (chill, slow, etc).

The class mecanism is chaos amplification: increase the power of clones, fantasmes when their number increase and their duration. It´s a non shatter aternative playstyle.
For example, staff clone, when they are 3 le duration or number of stacks increase etc etc. So more illusions are alive, more the chaos increase.

Hammer is a sort magic close range weapon.
Hammer #1: chain with attack 3 attack, the intensity of the 3 attack increase with th number of illusions summoned.
Hammer #2: trow the hammer and inflict weakness to all ennemies in the path: The big damage of the hammer.
Hammer #4 illusionnary warrior: summon a phantasm that knowdown and gives retaliation to allies. If illusions can cc, players will pay more attention to them.
Hammer#3: hit ennemies and summon a clone that inflict snare and gives swiftness to allies. Clone/snare
Hammer#5: the mesmer become chaos energy for 5 sec, dealing damage ennemies near him and become immune to cc. AoE damage and def tool.

Utility skills are shout. Presences: the goal is to inspire choas to ennemies but to also use chaos to inspire allies.
Heal: Lyssa presence: heal yourself, increase all heals for allies by x% for y sec and reduces heals for ennemies (non cumulative between mesmers)
Skill1 : Chaos presence: each sec dispel condi for allies and transfer them to ennemies (5sec)
Skill2: Chaos inspiration: allies are immune to cc for sec, inflict fear to ennemies.
Skill3: Battle presence: allies damage increase 15%, 5 sec, ennemies damage decrease 15%.
Skill4: Chaos confusion: allies win boons 5 boons for 5 sec, inflict burn (3 stacks) to ennemies.
Elite: Clonning. For each ally summon a copy of them and a copy of ennemis for 5sec.
If allies copy are killed, the explode and inflict confusions, torment. If ennemies clone are destroyed (by ennemies) they give aoe boons.

Trait line: the tree is focusing on melee survivability and clones. Illusions improve the melee chaos. When can imagine trait like:

GM:
Minor~ increase ferocity and critics by 200 per fantasm summoned, increase healing and tougness by 200 per clone summoned.
- Hammer commandant: when wielding an hammer, reduce 50% all illusions damage taken. Reduce hammer skill recharge by 20%
-illusionary chaos: when a fantasm hit, it have 15% chance to fear for 1.5 sec.
-Chaos reversion: each 30 sec, dispel conditions and copy them to ennemies.

Master:
Minor~ each 7sec illusions grants a random boon to allies close to them (if you keep alove them they reword you)
-vigor illusions: increase vigor effect by 33%, win vigor when you have 3 illusions.
-clones agression: increase damage and condi damage by 5% per clone summoned.
-fantasm chaos: empower your fantasm (empowering depend on the fantasm)

Adept:
Minor~ gain acess to hammer and chaos enpowering.
-illusion link: each time you summon a fantasm , you transfer to him 3 conditions
-clones control: each 50 sec, the next cc is transfered to your clone if you have one
-keep it close: reduce damage by 15% less than 240.

What could be changed to improve balance

This is my opinion based on my experience playing in ranked and unranked arena. If you disagree with any of my points, you are welcome to share your experience in comment section bellow.

GENERAL FLAWS
1) Too much AOE spam. Only few dedicated classes/builds should be able to spam AOE. Now every class can launch AOE all around and pvp battles is more like AOE battles than anything else.
2) Too many CC. Each class should have 1 or 2 CC abilities, unless focused heavily on CC, but deal less damage and healing. Now some classes with CC focused builds can CC you until you die and you can’t do anything about it, unless you take a lot of stun breakers.
3) Too many boon spams. Nearly every class can now spam boons endlessly. That is not right and it puts strain on pvp balance. Especially – stability.

ELEMENTALIST
4) Aura build have too much sustain. It is nearly impossible to kill bruiser elementalist 1v1.

WARRIOR
5) Too unreliable. You have to either go defensive and lose lots of damage or go full damage, but be squishy as hell.
6) It have only 1 decent build, which is used by nearly every warrior now.
7) Condition warrior is maybe the worst build, compared to any at least half viable build out there.

RANGER
8) Druid have too much sustain. Same as bruiser elementalist – nearly no one can kill it in 1v1.
9) Deals too much damage having this much of sustain. I have literally seen Druid fight off 3 people, not dying, while downing at least one out of three every 5-10 sec.
10) Pets are too strong. I have seen Bristleback F2 dealing 14k damage.

NECROMANCER
11) Greatsword should be reapers main tool and strongest weapon, but it isn’t. Greatsword is the worst weapon for reaper, even axe is better.
12) No defensive tools, no mobility abilities. The one thing necromancer can do is dealing damage. That is pretty boring, even if damage is quite good at the moment (reaper only, though, because core necromancer is weaker than anyone).
13) Minions are weak and useless. The only use for minions necromancer have while leveling up. In pvp, however, minions are dead weight and usually are used only for Death Nova trait.
14) Same as warrior, necromancer have only 1 (well, maybe 2) viable builds.

GUARDIAN
15) 3-4 traps dragon hunter have too much burst (can don’t nearly anyone over 1 sec).
16) Burn guardian is too dependent on certain traits and is useless without them.

THIEF
17) Deals way way too much damage. It is at same level as walking into 4 dragon hunter’s traps.
18) Can spam stealth too much. It can literally do this until it kills someone: attack with one ability -> stealth -> attack with one ability -> stealth -> attack with one ability -> stealth -> ……
19) Is a little bit too squishy.

ENGINEER
20) Pretty much all bad (OP) things about other classes combined into one: deals too much damage, have only one viable build (scrapper), have too high sustain, too much CC and so on.
21) Have too many defensive tools.

MESMER
22) Continuum Shift is game breaking and should be removed.
23) Power build deals too much damage. Combine it with stealth, clones and other strong abilities – most of other classes can’t do anything against power mesmer. (same could go for condition mesmer, but condition mesmer have lower damage)

REVENANT
24) Sustain too high.
25) Damage too high.
26) Too many defensive tools.
27) Too many CC.
28) Literally the most broken class.

Agree with a big part but i just Laugh about necro. When we read necro part we imagine an underpowered class. But there are about 60% of reapers this season. Pls mention the high direct and condi damage. The insane cc and condi spam. And condi support (chill, snare, weakness). Aoe in all skills.

-ranger pets suck enormous gorilla kitten and should be buffed in dmg at 200% and 3 times more daze for druid please
-guards should be able to stack their traps infinitely because 2x initial dmg from test of faith cant even kill white trash mobs
-Revenant is completely balanced and its a pleasure to play the addon op cancer which forces ppl to buy your kitten this well designed masterpiece
-Warrior is too op at every aspect and please nerf the adrenalin generation and get another f1 skill for hammer because its too much meta and everyone plays it because its so good
-chrono needs more blocks because its not annoying yet
-engineer needs moar protection and stability please and make boon duration 50% longer

Did I forgot something?

Dude in WvW scrapper dont have any decent long range option! He has to come close to fight so it´s normal that i can resist….
Ranger: longbow, staff, pet
Dh: longbow
Berserk: rifle, longbow
Tempest: staff
Mesmer: staff, gs
Necro: staff, elite
Etc etc

You want to be in ranged with pistol/rifle, focus hard hammer scrapper when he approach and kill him before i could engage the fight???

Guys you have to precise if you talk about pvp, pve, wvw.
Guardian/dh in pve is really nice! The amount of damage is amazing! For the warrior is the same. You complain about ingi but the direct hammer damage isnt so strong and the rotation is complex and not funny. Fractal group: chrono/war/rev/dh/tempest the most asked. For raiding the condi ingi could be used (rotation ultra complex and the elite spe and the hammer isnt usefull for this build)

Indeed i think the power scrapper has to be down in pvp but archi up in pve

I begin this post to collect your ideas about professions diversity and balance. The goal is to give for developpers reasonable idea about improving build diversity. In pvp, pve and mcm.
Actually the elite spe weapon are for a the majority well designed because they accomplish a certain (or two) roles.
1) devs have to rethink certain old weapon to give them a role! Give the list of actually poor weapons and how to improve them.
2) same thing for trait. Certain build exist because of mandatory lines. For example water for ele, inspi for mesmer. Why? Because of healing, support. Give to all tree more dispel, support or usefull thing to break mandatory line.
3) same for utility/elite/heals skill. Why is it possible to keep so bad utilities?
The most important is to respect the balance. Absurb prososition are not constructives.

For example:
1) a) mesmer focus : reflect baseline+ fantasm can moove during this skill
In general fantasm mesmer need a rework.
ele scepter: the previous changes are not enough
C) ranger shortbow: what a bad weapon, give it a more usefull condi role. Clearly the worst weapon in the game.
Ranger torch: not effective
D) war hammer: controle weapon? Hybrid damage? The guard hammer is a cc weapon but with a high dps, hammer has to be like this (but less dps than gs)
E) guard scepter: actually this weapon need a rework.

If you see other really bad weapon you can put your ideas.

2) traits lines: more various way to assist/dispel. For example:
Fire: when you gain fire aura you dispel 2 condi (5 ppl, radius 300)
All trait line has a “role” and we can support in this role.
Example: if we take a condi line, we can imagine that “when we apply x stacks of x condi, we dispel or transfer x condi”
If we take a tank line: “when you block you loose 1 condi”
Theses are just example.
I think it´s bad to have support trait line because it reduces the build diversity to force people taking it.

3) Guys, it´s not possible to give 25 utilities, 5 heals, 5 elites but for the majority of professions less than 30% of them are usable. I dont do the list of them there is so much…
Example? Ingi: turrets (just heal turret is fine), bomb kit, gadget (Just silk shooes is fine), some elixir are useless, healing are not equal, elite are not equal too. Conclusion, quasi all scrappers run turret or gyros for healing, bulwark gyros, elixir gun and sneak gyros.
And it´s quasi the same for all classes.

You choose to add content and work on the core game, as you said. You have a lot of work! Proove us that your decision to not work on legendaries is justified and give diversity!

Brain dead never die cheese, scrapper sustain

Scrapper dont suffer for physical damage, he has a lot of tools, but concerned condi bomb it´s not the same. You can easily kill a scrapper with chill, poison! So reroll necro or send a necro/mesmer to fight the scrapper.
Each class has his counter. If you are not the scrapper counter just use your team!
It´s not because you ca?t kill him alone that you have to cry to scrapper nerf.
Tips: condi rev can easily kill a scrapper trust me!

In pve the scrapper hammer is not the best weapon guy, yep in pvp it´s really nice (staff necro is op, ele focus etc etc)
The scapprer power dps is not op, sustain and survivability is clearly op but not the dps man.

Where's the New Legendary Weapons?

Hot began in october 2015, and you have introduced 3 new legendaries. I remember you told “the others legendaries will be introduced step by step”.
We are in march and 0 news concerning legendaries or others. If you take a year for. 3 legendaries we can wait a long long time.
If it´s possible try to communicate your plan guys. Actually we just listen pvp adjustment schedule… Where is the pve/mcm plan?
And please for god, stop balance this game through pvp, think also about pve and mcm.

You want to nerf the hammer? So make viable all kit, allow the scrapper weapon swap.
With just one weapon it´s normal that we have both offensive and defensive cd. The problem is that when we want to dps, we have to use defensive cd, it´s a negative side.
The scrapper suffers against condi burst. But the reapers know it well i suppose.
Actually with a scrapper you can kill a good tempest or druid in 1v1 because he has just to run and you have nothing for gap closing, like chill, snare or immobilized.

Guys go play scrapper and you will see if it´s so cheaty against mobil target. You want to reduce our damage? Gunflame can hit with 12k, ranger pet dont talk about that, etc etc and you wine about the hammer damage? You have to play ranked and you will se when with the hammer 3 you do 900k crit on a tempest.

Mesmer needs a massive nerf.

In high lvl, with a good team, mesmer is a huge problem. The utility are so strong! They can litterally change a match.
I love the mesmer design, and i think with the previous nerf the classe is killed but the mesmer will ne never killed. 4 first legendary guys that i have seen run mesmer.

If scrapper need nerf go nerf first reaper : death shroud high damage and high survivability, high condi spam also.
Nerf druid, high healing, cc, pet damage, 10 sec on avatar ok ok
Nerf tempest, with an aura share tempest you just do nothing
Nerf dh etc etc
I play marauder scrapper and trust me in a 5v5 situation, tempest, reaper, druid, rev are far better than scrapper. Yep scrapper is good in 1v1 because he has personnal skill but the other have team skill.
In ruby division there is no a lot of scrapper 1 max per 2 games. But 3 ele, dh , reaper, rev. So stop complain about a 1v1 lost and go play in team fight

It´s time to do something

Hey everyone, normally i want to be optimistic because i like this game and environment but now in pvp it´s not possible.
One necro, i try to do my best and kill him, two necros, i will die but try do win time. But 3/4/5 necros in the opposite teams it´s enough.

Fear chill bleed torment cripple blind weakness torment corrupt etc etc
Even my immune potion proc i die without finishing it.
Where is the skill here? Spamming 4 marks randomly, switching scepeter and spamming.
The solution? Let´s all doing a reaper so it will be balanced.
Stop tell me reaper is balanced see scrapper, rev, druid. No no no, i don t talk about 1v1 but teamfight.

Also, we can talk here about those tempest in bastion… Without focusing a foe they can spam auras, full heal, reflect, chill guard. And spamming aoe. Hum, one guy wihtout a target can just do a better job than you (spamming randomly all aura)

Anet now you have to do something.

Probleme with multi deadly chill

Today i have done some observations in pvp concerning deadly chill.
I was chilled by 2 reapers but i take really fast chill damage 2 ticks per sec. So i go to check the record and the two reapers damage me with deadly chill. BUT, chill is just one unique dot, without stacking possibility. It´s like i have two stacks of chill.
Solution: only one reaper could hit with deadly chill.

Actually we have to face 2,3,4 necros in pvp. Chill application is overcheated, chill itself is overcheated. Reaper is also over the top, so we have to stop this condi spam and the multi reaper condi spam…

kitten there is a hard work here. The idea is really insteresting. Actually mesmer suffer a lot by this aoe spam so fantasm does nothing.
The proposal changes are really smart, all lines have a real indentity and role. I m not a fan of the chrono lines, it doesnt seem like an elite spe. Mayne the chrono line have to add some smart talent (with the time tematic).
Devs have to listen this thread!

Actually the reaper is clearly a big problem, the condi spam is insane (chill, burn, weakness, fear, bleed, poison, torment, snare, vuln,..) ,and don t forget the corrupt! when there are two reapers it´s a big bang bang! With this there is the big shroud dps and survivability. Only reapers tell “it´s easy to take down us” but when you are chill 100% of the time you start with a big handicap. Maybe they have to reduce the chill effect line alacrity and to not allow chill to reducd the speed, there is cripple for this.

The revenant is high but more hard to play. Maybe reducing the mobility or the damage is a good way to balance it.

For the scrapper i m disapointed. He has a really high burst capacity but you can easily kite it and when you scape the burst, the scrapper run during 10-15 sec. Etc etc. I think they have to reduce the burst but to improve the gap closer and continuous damage. Also reducing the healing capacity or defense is a good way to balance the class.

For me the dh is also a problem but it´s another question.
Globally, if they reduce the condi spam (chill, weakness), the aoe cc/damage/condi (reaper/rev/scrapper/tempest), the pvp will be globally balance, warrior, rogue will be really high (they suffer a lot of this aoe spam)

Agree with the precedent TL;DR. But without the HCG on elixir gun we lost 2 dispel. Actually the necros condi burst is just famous chill, snare, weakness, bleed, burn, torment. It´s not so good to loose this two good dispel. If the condi spam reaper is nerf maybe i totally agree with the previous proposal changes.

Love the proposed changes a lot it´s a nice work. There are also nerf where it is necessary! I m not conviced by the invocation line, maybe you have to find more changes (like you taunt all foes when you spa, 30 sec icd, or you win a buff when you equip a legend, 250 healing ventari, 250 crit shiro etc)

Hum if you want to show all the scrapper possibilities we can make it for all professions you know?
- reaper, spamming a lot of condi, nobody could dispel continuously a reaper: chill, weakness, snare, fear, bleed, burn, torment, vuln. Have an overpowered dps, and condi burst at the same time. Stun option via the elite, mignion assist. A lot of corrupt, transfert. Survivability up via death shroud spamming.
- thief, hum the thief. Evade evade evda evade, cc, 3 shot good bye. And it´s not a joke we have a good thief in our team , when he pop behing you he spam the dagger #1 and it´s over.
We can continue like this for quasi all professions man.
For info, the bulwark gyro is easily killable. Boons could be easily corrupted. Cc via #5 hammer it´s dodgable. A hammer scrapper is kittable without condi snare and the gap closser (#3 hammer ) is on 12 sec now…
If you talk about 1v1 yes the scrapper is strong but in pvp (mainly 2v2 or 3v3) it´s not the same. When you face 2-3 guys gyros are useless.

-20% damage? Sorry it´s a joke? And we will forced to run condi in pve. Why do you think that there is just few hammer scrappers in pve? The war axe #1 deals more damage than the hole hammer.
Scrapper doesn t have a huge dps it´s just a cycle burst. Learn to avoid him and win.

I wouldn’t put reaper on first place: they are slow and don’t handle focus fire very well. Also their team support is rather limited. Soloq will be probably flooded with them but hardly tourneys, imo.

Chilling all the ennemies, also poison, weakness, criple, bleed, torment, burn, fear, stun, and a high direct damage with a great survivability is a nice offensive team support for the reaper. Oups i have missed the boon corrupt.

New pets are fine, the old one are underpowered. Guys as colin said, ranger weapon are not powerful as the other professions because of the pet damage ok. So why do you complain?
The berserk spe with the gunfire can do 12k damage with 3 sec cd.
The rogue just spam #1 dagger and can easily spam 6-7k each cyle.
The mesmer have a huge burst with shatter condi or direct.
We can discuss about reaper shroud (f1-f5) fear,chill, damage, burn, power, stun, poison,stab, field, finisher.
The scrapper/ dh f1-f5/F1/f3 are amazing too.
So why complain? It´s normal that the ranger f1-f4 have a utility too. If you want to nerf the pet damage, go up the weapon damage, and do say ranger pet dps with him.

- Reaper=> the ultime class actually. A lot of condi spam, thanks for weakness and chill. The condi and direct damage are insane. Plus the tones of pets and the shroud. I have played game against 3-4 reapers. But it´s fine.
- Druid/scrapper=> pretty good! Good damage, cc, heal, mobility. But reapers with the condi spam and corrupt eat them.
- Rev/thief=> beautiful classes, well played they can kill everybody, but they need more skill. They can play an important role in a team.
- Berserk/DH=> insane damage!!! There are some marvelous berserk/Dh, they really surprised me. I think those 2 need a support and cc team.
- Tempest/mesmer=> there was so great in the previous season but now the game play is different. They can support and outdamage everybody. They have to go in dps/cc role!

So reaper first >> all
Then it depend on the player skill rev, thief, druid, scrapper
If there is a good team build herald, berserk, tempest, chrono.

I play a DH and reading this long post is like please L2P pal. Come on, this balance patch is good and the Bunker system is kinda gone. You need four good partners and on voice communication to win good and close games. High time such posters need to stop trolling others.

For me all elite spe are ok if you know how to play it… There are also incredible berserkers in pvp and Dh! Maybe they learn how to play it.

The problem is they don t offer a lot of group utility, like scrapper gyros, reaper condi, tempest aura, herald buff, druid support and daredevil mobility. This is why dh and berserker are not represented in pro.

Scrapper daredevil first and second? But gw2 is not a 1v1 game! Tempest, herald, Dh, chrono, reaper, druid have so many to offer in group. If you want to win all your 1v1 go daredevil or scrapper but in group be sure that is not the best option.

Conclusion: all classes have their advantages and negative sides stop wine and go learning how to play your classe in different situations.

I love this <3 so my list:

Super hype op:
1. Class I do not understand at all.
2. Class I hate most, because of the same reason as 1.

Mega op:
3. Class that others are better at than me.
4. High – risk / high reward class
5. Class that has a different health pool than the class I currently play

Haha i totally agree! People most of the time are crying and don t learn to play or counter a class. For the scrapper, you complain a lot against the hammer but don t forget that the engi kit are pretty weak actually with hot and he doesnt have weapon switch. If you want a hammer nerf, lets get the weapon switch to the engi.

I agree with a lot of your comments, it´s a great job.
But attention to the effect of some of them in the other part of the game.
For example, 12sec for the rocket charge is justified in pvp but in pve you kill the power hammer build.

Totally agree for the passive abilities remarks. It´s toxic for the players skill.
For traps the can add such a detonation: first player put the trap and after when the player wants he could activate the traps (like mines)
Pets are problematic because they do a lot of noise and damage without any controle. Ranger pets are amasing just spam one attack and the pet change, where is the difficulty? Normally ranger or necros have to fell like puppetmasters.

You underline the tankability of certain classes (scrapper, herald,reaper, dh,…) with agressives amulets. Maybe it´s because the number of immunity are too high (block, evade, etc etc) and they can easily survive after the burst part.

The balance is not here, why a cele tempest does more total damage than marau rogue for example? Because tempest could dps and tank in the same time.

I must underline the fact that balance is not just between professions but also between trait lines. Is not normal that in pro all classes run a unique build! Anet, a balanced class is not a class with ONE viable build. A balance patch is not to nerf a build and make another viable!! All trait lines of each professions have to be competitive and balanced.
When you give to a class all dispel tools or buffs bot tools in a one tree, the classe become forced to run one build.
Example: the actually chronomancer: inspiration for healing/assist/dispel + chaos for boons (stab+ prot) /defense and chrono
Same for tempest water/earth/tempest
Scrapper elixir/alchemy/scrapper
Herald retribution/corruption/herald
Etc etc

Conclusion: in pvp dispel, boons, assist, defense for the win. (Rogue/war are usefull in those part so they are excluded for the pvp).

Actually i hate to deal with bunker mesmer but if you reduce alacrity shatter well etc you will kill the elite. This elite is to control the time if you want to beat one chrono just wait the good time and burst him;)
The chronomancer has to be toned down but just a little not so drasticly …
Its not because a profession shine and you hate it that the dev need to kill it.

The bunker chrono is really resistant but when you compare the survivability / damage ration is higer for the druid or the tempest actually.
With a druid you can run a full defensive stat and deal an incredible amount of damage with your pets. Same for tempest with overloads. But do you have to nerf them?

Quasi all elite are strong. So delete all!
But if you say just scrapper, rev and chrono are toxic it s because you play one of the other one.
Don t troll all elite are amazing and have some cheaty points (exept 2)
So stop cry about 3 elites.
Seriously i play tempest and i have observe that when i die there are always repear or rev. Scrapper, druid, chrono, war, thief or dh cant easily kill me…

Too much condi spam, game is unplayable

Actually condi is a real problem in pvp:

1) has all if condi players said “if you want to counter condi go cleanse”. I have tried a condi cleanse tempest build (soldier rune+ Cleansing water+ Invigoratting torrents+ Etheral removal+Signet of water etc etc). As you imagine i cleanse a lot but it´s not sufficient, after 20-30 condi cleanse, i take chill,burn,cripple,confu,torment etc etc and i die fastly. Conclusion: ennemies spam condi, i survive until i can t cleanse i will die in 3 sec. Ok all the 5 mates have to play tempest removal and why not we can survive to the condi pressure.

2) we have two types of condi: condi damage and alteration (to simplify).
Normally condi builds have access to good condi damage. And all builds could have access to alterations. But it´s not like this. All condi are just for condi builds and the others builds have not a lot of solutions. Why for example a power build have relatively poor access to weakness, imo, cripple, chill? Condi and power could do the same amount of damage, why give to condi builds more alteration that kill power?

3) condi vs power? When someone block, immune or what, you can do 0 power damage (there arenot a lot of unblokable skill in the game) but condi continue to kill the target during an immune… Is it normal? Protection: -30% power damage+ weakness+toughness are good way to counter power damage but for condi? It´s easy for some professions to have protection, toughness or to put weakness, but for condi? It is actually not possible to counter the condi spam with cleanse. It´s not a question to counter all the condi damage (they have to put some damage) but actually condi spam is so far higher than cleansing.

4) the most powerful condi counter actually are condi build tools… Malyx legend and corruption tree allow a large amount of resistance stacking. So rev could spam condi and has an immunity to them. Cool.
Reaper has a large amount of condi and the most important condi transfert, is it normal?

The problem is Anet never balance condi. At the begining condi suks, actually is so Op. It´s time to find something…

Suggestions: – protection reduce also condi damage
- weakness has to inflict condi not just power damage
- gives to power builds access to alterations (weakness,chill etc)
- gives more condi counter to all builds (like blocks for power damage)
Etc etc
