Engineer can bring a lot of damage and is pretty much the noobfriendlier version of the ele because you can swap kits whenever you want, ele on the other hand switches attunements which are on a cooldown. Both professions are extremly fun.

The release will be also a good indication when the season 2 of the LS starts, I think. Something like 1 month after the release to give them enough time to level up their characters.

No, you don’t understand. I am not talking about dungeons I am talking about open world. Remember that tribal axe without inscription? Yeah that drove many people into the weirdest areas of the game, magmas shield without inscription? Well gotta go to that one specific area and hope someday one mob drops it or you get it out of those chests.
I loved to walk around the shiverpeaks areas because I always wanted to see a dwarven axe drop, never happened but I kept revisiting those areas. It would be a great addition to GW2 and wouldn’t lead into those champtrains again, if done right.

Do it like in GW1 and add area specific RARE weapons skins or even armor skins that can drop from any mob.

I believe the whole point of having the waypoint that far away is to break down the zerg.
So you will always have the same situation the further you are away from your base the smaller your zerg is but on the other hand the enemy zerg tends to be bigger because they are closer to their base.

Seriously that’s what I expect. The Living World concept, from what they’ve alluded to, is not meant so each season answers everything which went on within it, so they can build off it later with call backs, recurring elements of minor or major importance, and otherwise allow for some persistent threads to move through what they write later.
All we know for certain is this will finish Scarlet’s role as a threat.
In short? I expect it to be almost exactly like a season finale of Lost.
But we already had enough of that in GW1 and those questions are still unanswered :/ Welp that’s frustrating

Another possible solution (if no-one wants these bosses to be changed) would be for Anet to simply introduce an in-game event organizer that allows players to post dates and times for large community events that other players can visit a notice board to see, so that at the very least, planning for these boss events will become easier and less intimidating.
The servers already organize themselves pretty well. Our servers does daily karka, daily tequatl and daily special farms in PvE besides that we have a lot of WvW-related events. No need to implement a new feature when there is no need for it.

Although I’d love to visit the Underworld in GW2, why do we need it to be an elite/hardcore instance again? An more open zone could work as well, similar to the Tower of Nightmares for example.
Because this is what the game lacks off – hard content for dungeongroups.

Based on the credit list for WoL’s Cinematic team in whole was 158: 71 (artists) and 58 (in-game artists).
That are 158 people you have to pay for at least 1 year to create such an amazing trailer. This is in my opinion a huge waste of time when you have a lot of already done concept arts lying around and a beautiful ingamegraphic.

The first thing I do after joining a group is checking their AP points when I see something below 1k I pm him and ask him if he knows what to do. If he doesn’t respond I know that that run won’t be as smooth as it normaly goes but I wont kick him.
If you just want to get things done you should use AP as an indicator of how well your group will do. Everything below 2k might never have done this dungeon before.

It required a small fee to enter and was extremely punishing – it had no “way points” and if a single NPC died, your whole party was kicked out of the instance without receiving any loot or reward.
Players had to do certain difficult tasks before they could access the final boss Dhuum.
There were no diminishing returns and rewards were worth the effort and time spent.
A run for skilled players usually took around 30-50 minutes, while “pug” groups anywhere from 2 to 3 and more hours.
Needless to add, this was the most played instance/mission/content in original game.So, the question is, why can’t we have a similar content in Guild Wars 2?
A content that’s entirely skill based and where failure/death is not allowed?
Unless you speedcleared it the rewards weren’t worth it at all. It was all about “might get” skins that I personally never saw dropping.
For me the UW was something special, my first guild was one of the first who completed the whole underworld (before we had the endchest) and I kinda felt proud being part of that guild.
The cool thing about the UW was the difficulty scaling, it was perfect – you just want to kill mobs to get ectos? Fine adjust your build a little bit and you are good to go, not hard at all – you want to complete the underworld by doing all quests? you are in for a hell of a ride! I loved that, the guys who designed this instance were geniuses.

Just correct me on that one: When I join EotM I play with people from other servers who happen to have the same “color”, what happens if I log out and join EotM again will I play with the same people again or will I play with another bunch of people who have the same color as me?

We don’t. A.Net doesn’t want GW2 to be human centric. They said that multiple times and I am pretty sure they’ll stick to it.
It’s kinda said but it’s their game and their decision, as cool as it is to play different races this is one of the downsides.

Gods know they’ve been sidelined in some releases.

The main problem is that there is no real way of reporting them ingame, there is no option for “griefing” and I am pretty sure A.Net can’t track griefing down easily, yet alone push it in the right way.

Do dungeons, my daily rotation is AC 1 and 3, CoF 1 and SE 1 just because I don’t have much more time. This takes like 1 hour and yields me 5,8g only from the dungeon end rewards on top of that I get drops and dungeon tokens which can be turned into money aswell
Don’t do champtrains, they are dull and not effective at all.

Like I said in the other thread, I don’t like this direction at all. The pre watchwork picks were already for my taste over the line but I didn’t mind them too much. This one on the other hand pretty lucks like an experience how far a.net can go, same with the armor skins.

This post pretty much descripes the trouble the devs have with difficulty in this game. By the looks of your signature you have played GW1 and know that most of the endgame content was tough (especially when it was released) and they stuck to that throughout all releases in GW1 because players enjoyed that. Now they have a broader audience and the majority of said audience doesn’t want hard content.
