Oh and to add, you’re denying your enemies 2 siege BP, possibly 2 trebs or 2 golems, and you’re doing your server a great favour by camping the puzzle and denying every single invader you can find, and I highly recommend it.

If they reduced the costs but have a 3-step boosting that costs a lot more, it would make sense.

JP in WvW is a PvP zone. ANet placed player-activated traps and boulders for a reason. If you want to keep it friendly, good for you, I’ll kill you the moment I have the opportunity.

Don’t expect PvE in a PvP zone.

Getting better? Unless we get a large influx or euros/oceanics; people will move to servers that do have them like they are doing now. It’s not fun to play more or less alone and outmanned.

I actually find getting together with some people and ninjaing camps and try sneaking into towers more fun than zerging around everywhere like a mindless drone. But hey, we all play differently.

And to add, I would like to comment on the bigger SoS WvW guilds such as Tsym, PRX or HUG. My guild is a relatively small WvW guild that focuses on achieving something greater than a zerg can with small numbers, utilising superior PvP skills, coordination and siege placements. All the ‘big’ and ‘superior’ guilds in SoS are not really playing under a super secret tactic; they only have bigger numbers in a VOIP. That’s all. If we can get a lot more PUGs into our public TS3, we would have equivalent, if not superior organisation than those ‘awesome’ guilds.

The reason I think this is because most of the time I meet a PRX or Tsym scout sniping dolyaks and such, I have no problem slaying one easily, if not two. And I’ve seen much better PvPers than them in SoR. This has lead me to conclude that all these guys have is more people trying to work together.

Bottom line, SoR will go down a tier eventually or stay in T2. We are definitely not a T1 server based on our coverage.

Then we’ll have our regulars back who actually works together, gets their kitten on TS3, listen to good commanders and be happy.

Yea I’ve seen them disappear while using them also like they have some kind of limit on how many ammo they can shoot, I’m not sure how you refresh the timer (other than running to it and manning it but you say that doesnt work were u shooting it?) but I’ve had a treb at sm I placed last a few days. Was quite nice to see something I placed still there, which is how it feels it should be.

That is not true. If you think it is, bring up a proof, not a blank statement.

I don’t think I would spend over 5g on a keep upgrading it if it’s only gonna last a few days. 2 weeks matches should be coming soon so that people actually start spending money on upgrades.

It’s a valid tactic, you’re denying sieges for your enemies. IMO, the dominating server should have a small guild (5-10 people) to be dedicated in camping the EB puzzle.

Anyone who is crying about this should spend their time better by taking enemy keeps in EB.

Leave it this way it’s way more fun.

Those of us on Sanctum of Rall are having a lot of fun in this matchup. It’s quite refreshing after what seemed like a long lull in WvW action.

We must have killed at least 30 golems from SoS today on the ‘Sanctum of Rall Borderlands’ map. You guys just keep coming, haha! xD

I focused on killing [HOT] when we were matched up with DH, now I’m focusing on killing PRX ;]

Also, ninja’ing RedBriar was fun too.

Because you can treb the nearest keep/tower walls from there, and invulnerable stuff shooting us is not fair.

Lost respect for some of the WvW guilds tonight due to their loss of control and acting childishly, but good fights with TC. Wounded trusts from guild to guild is not easily formed again, but I will look forward to those guilds acting more maturely in the future. I won’t point out fingers to anyone but you know what guilds I’m talking about.

Been fun tonight, I expect TC to fight back endlessly until next week!

Hehe, yeah I had a blast all week, especially some of the 1v1 matches

Arius, I don’t know if this is involved with you, or any major guild in DH, but we are seeing DH players taking every opportunity to hack inside EH and cheat our orb out. I mean, that’s really low, and stealing it when your major guilds were attacking our keep… We could only conclude that as a coordinated hacking attempt.

You guys played low, and we’re going to fight back legitimately, and that has proved its effectiveness. Also, the mesmer issue is very annoying and bothersome, but it cannot be denied that it’s your fault that you didn’t sweep what you took before. I’m a thief myself, and when you guys took RedBriar last night, I managed to stay inside the tower for about 5 mins when you guys left (no stealth, just in a corner) I just went up and killed all the guards, only to get downed and killed by a champion when he was about 15% health. This proved to me, that you guys are no good at cleaning your house out.

Ah… that guild. I saw a lot of them this morning, but no offence, they were strategically quite bad. I would not count that kind of playstyle an alliance.

I’ve been playing in Sanctum of Rall since launch, and when insta-server xfer was avilable, I had the opportunity to visit different servers and how their communities work. Also, from what I have noticed, our server WvW is relatively disorganised and thus, not being able to win when it seems obvious to me that we can win if there was communication.

Not only that, I found several servers who have VOIP for their own server, and they’re usually very coordinated in WvW.

I am not promoting my guild, or wants to be a boss or something like that. I just want our people to know each other better, and make a better community of ourselves. Of course when you come in, there are few manners you have to follow, but I haven’t specified them since this will be a mature group, and I’m assuming everybody has some common sense in public.

This group is hosted by Raidcall:“http://www.raidcall.co/v7/index.html”, and as far as I know I can host a server for free with a lot of people, which I love. It’s free to download and register, and our group ID is 5093013.

To add more, I am looking for people who are experienced in managing these groups to look after the group for me when I’m not online. Please, talk to me via Reddit or Raidcall if you would like to help me. I’m on 10+hours for a few weeks now, but that doesn’t mean I can do everything.

I am one of the members of nightguard guild [HF]. Despite our server’s population mainly based on the US, we have shown and proved that our night force is not to be underestimated with. With a bit more communication and organisation using VOIP and guild, I think we could be much better than what we are now.

Since I’m on my holidays ATM I had the chance to look at our prime time WvW force this morning. Everyone was asking “where is the zerg” “where can I go” on team/map chat, and we were very uncoordinated and messy.

Therefore, I would like to ask many guilds on Sanctum of Rall leaders to come together and form an alliance solely based on WvW, and getting better gear for WvW. WvW is what attacted me to GW2 and to many others, and I look to continue this no matter our status on the game, but I think the game would be much more enjoyable if we were actually doing something right.

Our alliance will be called Delusion Alliance, and we are seeking leaders of guilds who plays WvW actively and with coordination. World: Sanctum of Rall Guild: Legion of Omega [LO] Focus: PvX, Everything.

We are an average-sized guild looking to grow into an enormous one, with around 55+ members playing actively on both US and Oceanic regions. We focus mainly on PvE aspects, but as the guild grows, we will do regular WvW runs and organise sPvP teams.

Our guild is consisted of members of average age 18+, with mixture of backgrouds and races. We are friendly but not spammy, so if you want a friendly guild but enjoy solo-ing time to time Legion of Omega is for you.
