I don’t like these kind of videos. Its just a mess of people and isn’t entertaining to watch except for the people who actually are in it.
People like underdogs, for example the 5 v zerg videos and the 1 v 1 or smaller group videos because they can see whats actually going on.
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean others share your opinion. As a viewer I enjoyed this video. Also, it’s not just a mess of people.

SoR= King of NA prime time, and they seem to do extremely well now against the JQ’s night-capping and pvdoor troops during Saturday and Sunday. I’d argue that these two days really show the true strength of a server, as coverage advantage and night capping are removed to some degrees. I really hope more asian/oceanic guilds will consider transferring to SoR, the wvw crews on this server are some of the best in T1, in terms of skills and tactics.
JQ= paper tiger, they are only good at pvdoor and night capping, if they can’t do it, they either lose very badly or they cannot gain a significant lead in terms of ppt. i think the last 24 hours kind of show this. And I seriously think PvDoor has given JQ a lot of bad habits when taking enemies objectives. This morning on EB, during JQ’s asian/oceanic prime time, JQ forgot to get rid of those defensive sieges (such as the oil pot) before porting golems to the inner gate of SMC, and SoR wiped those golems with ease. After at least 2 failed attempts of golems rush, folks from JQ just keep running around and building golems inside SMC and kept getting wiped by SoR or BG.
Another suggestion for JQ, get a better guild (maybe FOO? lol) to look after your EB, because [Ge] is a useless guild unless they can PvDoor. All they do is run around in EB and achieve nothing.
Few things to keep the discussion going, here are some of the rumors i heard when i was guesting on JQ
1)Some folks from JQ actually said that JQ does not have weekend NA prime time coverage, that’s why SoR beats them. Is this the truth? or is this the biggest joke of all time?
JQ just admit it, your current NA crews are a bunch of inexperienced bads, there’s nothing to be ashamed of, recruit better guilds and that’s all.
2) PRX is leaving the game? well, nothing of value is lost i guess if that’s true. PRX is the most over-hyped guild in GW2, with a lot of fan-boys defending them when they are clearly failing.
I disagree. PRX was one of the most prominent force on HoD and SoS. As the game went stale a lot of them got bored, therefore a weaker guild.
Pretty much the title. I used to be in a guild that dominated open field T1, but the guild is moving on to another game but I’d like to stick to GW2 for a while.
You need to be organised, exceptionally skilled in open field WvW, no PvE bullkitten. I play WvW pretty much all the time i’m in GW2.
I’m willing to transfer to any server, and I want to see a video clip of your guild fighting before I start considering.
You need to be fielding 25+ regular members, and you must be operating at SEA / Oceanic timezone.

In regards to the “CDS GVG Video”, it was unplanned and uncoordinated. I’m not here to draw up further semantics, but the facts are we didn’t have time to set up. It was unprofessional, the leader refused to correctly coordinate with us nor did we have time to correctly display the fieldwork. The only communication we recieved was when the “match” was started.
EMP is here to have fun, and most importantly make things fair. GvG’s are fun if we can sit down and meet on agreeable terms with both parties but at the end of the day, we play for the server and the PPT. I can go on about certain elements of the unjust and exclusionary evidence of that “gvg video” but at the end of the day, it wont prove anything and it’s just unfortunate that this debate has been going on 5 pages into this thread.
We want a fair and a modest fight. . If we loose, we want to loose in respect under the jurisdictions of rules set forth by the courtesy from both guilds
The end goal is to promote healthy rivalry and respect, like guilds we faced in the past. Choo/HB/Tsym/ICoa/VoTF so we can create other possible structured events, not sever them.
We lost to VoTF fair and square and you don’t see us bickering about it over forums. Heck, We even posted a video about that loss.
So let us please clean up this threat a bit and keep the fight in the arena.

This was why I am still skeptical about the whole GvG issue. EMP never had issues getting facerolled over by VoTF, nor did they brag over their win over iCoa. If Raw had trouble with CDS vs EMP, there definitely was something fishy/wrong going on.

It’s not meant to be simple. It’s meant to require dedication, a lot of patience and people with a common goal. To dominate WvW a bunch of flea guilds bouncing around the map isn’t going to work.
That only shows living players. It doesn’t include the other half of their guild that was killed.

If DB was to swap place with SoR right now? You would be at 0ppt. But the point is, commander symbol is one of the most important things that you need to command militia. Fights, often in EB involve upto 100 people ,and rallying to a non-commander leader is quite hard.

You know what commanders really need? To not say “EVERYONE GET TO ME NOW!” Number 1. We don’t always no where “me” is especially if there is more than one commander in the map its like uhh? really? Number 2. To do the job of a commander does not require the freaking blue diamond supply info and squad list… Anyone can be a commander all it takes is someone that is vocal and NICE to ask for info get reports on enemy movements and try to rally some buddies together “If you wanna take this meet me at hills So Gate… Leaving in 3 min” Bam no squad necessary no blue diamond… And kitten still gets done. I get asked by my server (DB) when are you getting your tag many times… My immediate response is “Why do I need it?” “What would change between other than some useless options that aren’t necessary when we communicate this well?” The second response is “You gonna give me 100G to be a commander?” lol… Even had people offer to contribute but I don’t want anyone to waste their money because that’s what I see a commander tag as… A waste.
Yeah try doing that against organised guild groups in EB, T1.

For all those saying that the dedicated WvW players shouldn’t get anything for their past acheivements, I have a way to make you see the other side of things.
In the future, legendary weapons will be automatically upgraded to ascended status when ascended weapons are introduced. What if they didn’t? Why should they be? According to your arguments, it’s fair that everyone starts at the same level. Therefore when that update comes around, only legendary weapons created after that update should get asceneded stats. Think the PVE crowd would go for that? Think the Devs would allow that to happen? I don’t think so. Yet here are many of you saying it’s perfectly fine to not track and rewared the WvW players for the things they’ve done.
WvW players have created their “legendary” by playing WvW. Why shouldn’t they be rewarded for what they have accomplished in the past? If the new system awards 1xp point for each kill in WvW in future, why can’t the current people who have kills get rewareded that 1xp for them? From what I understand, there is going to be new tracks which is fine, it’s new and everyone should start at the same point then but if it tracks anything that has been tracked in the past, it should reward the people for what they have done.
You will be rewarded for your legendary when they are granted ascended stats, why shouldn’t the WvW crowd be rewarded for their "possessions’ they already have attained. It’s only fair.
Legendary weapons are being upgraded to ascended stats because Legendary Weapons with Exotic stats will no longer exist. It is changing an item already in the game, not adding new items. And it will update with players who already have the item much like Skill balances update players who’ve already unlocked the skills effected.
WvW achievement tracks are not being removed. The game mode is simply having things added.
You’re not losing any progress you’ve made. But you’re also not getting a free ride towards new things that you have not made any progress towards.
How the heck is it a ‘free ride’ if we’ve worked for it over 1500 hours for some people, hundreds of gold and boatload of frustration over Anet for not giving a rat’s arze about WvW for 7 months?
I think I have spent nearly 1.5k gold, over 1.5k hours of play time and millions of karma spent in WvW. Yes I actually did spend that much. What if I spent all that in PvE? I would have 5 legendaries by now lol… and asking anet for us to be awarded for that is a ‘free ride’? what the kitten?

Please for heaven’s sake, give commanders a beacon for us to look at better, it’s hard to stick to them in a large scale fight. Give them a bloody COLOURED CHAT. This will make commanding militia a LOT less frustrating.
So far, this week is really depressing for me compared to the last week. Last week alone i got two precursors in two consecutive days [Dawn] [Dusk] in wvw. Now its tuesday, and i haven’t even got any exotics yet. This is so sad.

I used to call SoR home. I have moved on, but I still had respect for the guild involved in this incident. But interrupting a clearly pre-organised group activity between the other two servers intentionally, for their own entertainment, ruining everybody’s good day? I’m not so sure about that guild’s reputation anymore. I love talking to their members and they are a formidable WvW force. I love fighting them in WvW. But this action is really beyond my understanding.
I know that one individual does not represent the SoR WvW community. But because nobody responsible for this is stepping up to say whether they loved the bags or apologising for their selfish actions, we are left here to judge you by ‘that guy’.
GvG is fun, and many people enjoy doing it, and it’s becoming more and more of a trend in higher tiers nowadays. All the major WvW guilds in T1 knows about the location where this happens, and I am 100% sure that the guild involved in this knew this as well. This is absolutely embarrassing for them and their allies, and I am very, very sure that many other guilds on SoR are not happy about this.

And like I already said, the first few hours of reset are where all maps are queued and more or less all four servers have even numbers everywhere. Population starts tapering off later.
So why was the score relatively EVEN for the first few hours of reset where the numbers are also EVEN, why did SoR pull ahead LATER?
You don’t think it’s more likely SoR started to outnumber their opponents a few hours after reset? Instead you come up with an explanation that contradicts the first four to five hours of scores during the reset that also sounds very arrogant.
Man, I’ve started to notice that people on outmanned servers like to presume they’re more skilled than their opponents when in all likelihood they’re even and just suffering from illusory superiority.

Don’t go glass cannon then. I play mesmer sometimes, and I’ve seen it hit 2.5k against a bunker guardian to 6-7k on glass cannon thieves.
It’s mesmer downed skill #3, which summons a illusionary rogue on you that deals a lot of damage. It’s a purple illusion that heartseekers you once. If you’re a glass cannon yes it will hit for 6k easily.

You know, I’m going to be honest here; Kaineng’s coverage is nowhere near T1 coverage. They could get here, but the coverage ga kitten o massive that you will score worse than SoR. Unless you’re to be the next stacked server, there is no way you’ll be competitive in T1.

I just tried this by playing around with window mode, stretching here and there. It’s not a zoom hack, just adjusting the window.
Although I do not think this makes that much of an impact in the current WvW meta, and it’s not worth it to disable it risking massive complaints and coding problems.
People running around in WvW without stunbreaker or stability are hilarious.
I’m one of them and guess what? it works. I got tickled by 1 sec aoe fear by a necro yesterday. No reason to bring any defense to this. Those who run full bunker in wvw well yea they are hilarious. take a little longer to kill but is also no threat at all. So can let them live until the big guns is taken down.

PRX didn’t exploit anything until you have video proof, end of the story. I can say HB jumped over walls for a tea with the keep lord, I can say TW was walking underground to kill people beneath them. But unless I have video proof of it I am a liar.

“Interesting morning where i saw Jade Quarry doing some very unsportsmanlike things.
I myself am simply a solo SoR thief, and was minding my own business between east supply and Hills. I make my way down the back valley towards Hills where i saw a JQ zerg all stacked up under the Vista of the BG owned Keep.I thought, oh cool im gonna watch this, so stayed back watching and saw the commander was in PRX, and then saw a mesmer jump from above to teleport them in, i didnt catch the mesmer’s tag. I looked up and saw a bunch of BG at the top where the mesmer jumped from, it was the guild HB. The Mesmer died on his fall, which was funny.
The HB crew then went from sight, maybe to engage the JQ below, and the PRX zerg rezzed up the fallen Mesmer. The mesmer then jumps UP the cliff to the Vista and ports the whole PRX zerg up to the top. If i knew what they were doing i would have turned Fraps on.
