My official stance is that this style of play is softening everyone and their mother (on all sides) to where they probably couldn’t survive for ten seconds in a group smaller than their guild zergs.
Hello bitterest person on BG. I’m calling you out here, mostly due to all the 2v1 whining (btw, notice only BG complains about 2v1, and there’s a reason for this) and some of the greatest irony I’ve ever read. I’m offering you a challenge. No GvG, those are stupid. 5v5 in a sPvP arena, take any 4 of your guildies and face my team in an sPvP match. Then, when we mop the floor with you guys, you can go back to what BG does best. Seriously, why do you think you guys are winning?
Also, fun night in EB. Taking out whatever 2v1 your complaining about, there were still some good fights.
1. BG is not the only one that complains. It’s crazy you’d even try to say that.
2. The mention of GvG was in relation to the GW1 GvG and how it should have been implemented into GW2, but prettier, as a separate game type. It was an excellent game type and should have been implemented.
3. If you want to spar, I’m on the field (usually EBG) for several hours a day during the week. You can find me there. My guild is neither a WvW nor an sPvP guild and I am not going to subject them to some weird grudge match with someone they don’t know. I want 1vX and small-scale fights to be more prominent in WvW, not some call-out match with someone who clearly thinks they’re more witty and skilled than they probably are.
4. I have to actually care about winning in WvW to be bitter. I’m embarrassed for anyone who makes it so obvious that they’re ignoring each other in the interest of spawn camping one side. I even ream out our own commanders when I see them trying to do it.
Thanks for your interest in playing against me in a small-scale match. I’ll be on EBG for another hour or two, depending on how many roamers I manage to come across.

I know you folks do indeed have alot of skilled players.
Heck TSYM was on SoS for many weeks – and I believe they were very skilled.
BTW this afternoon on TS we were talking about who to be worried about – guild tag wise – and your guild name came up.
It is not about that. SoR have gotten a bunch of guilds into there server, but because we in BG have done the same somehow we are only built on getting more new guilds in every 5 mins. It is more or less TW and a few other forum warriors way of felling special by talking crap. It is why Tier 1 was so toxic. Now that SoR is gone it is kind of nice there.
I believe there is a difference between buying 5 guilds and convincing 5 guilds to come.

Isn’t there a Spvp option to make your own arenas and rules up to 8 people? 8v8 was the GvG in Guild Wars 1.
Mass scale GvG is basically doing your WvW fights but not actually WvWing keeping the Q blocked for those that do want to siege. Try to take it to Spvp somehow, can u guest in the mists?
PvP is cross-server, region-separated. I don’t care how GvG was in GW1, in GW2 most GvGs involve more than 15 people in one team.

I hate to be that guy, but it sounds like you’d enjoy SPvP and TPvP more. WvW is only half people vs. people; the other half is strategic siege-driven warfare.
sPvP is boring with the same map and victory types. The PvP in WvW offered free form, dynamic small and large scale PvP. This is being lost with the AC change with WvW being turned into SiegevSiege.
Of course it’s going to be siege vs siege. This is realm battle with castles and towers. What the hell do you expect?

Lol… I would love for ET and FC to hop onto our side for a week and see many numbers are actually fielded during the day. That ‘numbers argument’ is such a false scapegoat.

You do understand that 40 is a zerg to us down here in little old t8, right?
Even groups of 15 are referenced as a zerg at times, usually to call something out quickly as opposed to referring to numbers, but still. Manning 40 together from the same guild is not a small feat by any means down here.

I think they should have easier to obtain titles like dominator, then champion dominator then keep ultimate dominator where it is at.
Also would like Ultimate titles in PvP like Ultimate Slayer, Ultimate Brawler, Ultimate Magus.**** I like the sound of ULTIMATE more so than CHAMPION.
Maybe in future you can give Lengendary for like 1 million kills you get Legendary Dominator, and in Pvp maybe like 10,000 tournament wins Legendary Magus.
Yeah they’re going to change the name of titles just for you.
I think if Anet just fixed the skill lag and fps drop, increase population cap and increase the map x4 times what it is now, with a lot more waypoints, zergs would be fun to play in.
Most of my buddies stopped caring about WXP after hours of release. We thought having ‘[insert server] slayer’ would mean that you turn the other way and run.
But what it really means is like seeing an invader with a legendary weapon. Go hunt for one. It requires absolutely no skill or practice to get to higher ranks. All you have to do is get on the biggest zerg in your server and roll around capping things.
Well there goes the community. Piken Square WvW already have enough queues during primetime (even after RG/SiN/etc left, we where just getting settled in the new order of things) but of course since we are the only high tier medium pop server, we get kitten over by Anet once again.
Not happy and will not definetly not try to convince anyone.
Why should they have to convince you? If you want to transfer, you want to transfer, and it’s up to you to find the community which fits you best.

Many players are getting tired of skill lags of high-pop servers and looking for another server that has no lag, but still top wvw experience. I wanted this thread to be where small servers can advertise their greatness.
Plus, I see many recruitment threads saying "Come to our server, we have xxx ! " isn’t that convincing?
The addition of the WvW progression system doesn’t impact regular character leveling at all. Characters will still get regular XP in the usual way and they’ll also get WXP so characters below level 80 can be leveled simultaneously while they advance their world rank.
So, old WvW-players will not receive any rewards for their old achievments? And their WXP lvl will be ZERO like as any newbies who just came to WvW?
It’s BS, but we’ll have to take it because quite obviously Anet didn’t care about WvW for 7 months and that’s not likely to change.
The siege troll, mainly showed up, the last day of the contest, capping JQ’s siege limit, pretty hard to take keeps, with dps only……his guild tag btw is Choo, too obvious to be from Sor right? lol.
I know trolling people for their grammar is considered to be rather weak. The above, however, is pretty exceptional. Are you narrating a poem here with all those commas? That’s the only way it makes sense to me.
As for your allegations, well, they’re baseless. I’m sure that the simplest explanation is easiest for you to digest, though.

As awesome as it would be to be able to get 1g a day more doing WvW, I don’t see this happening I’m sorry. You can already do the PvE daily in WvW, so having a 2nd lot of daily achievements would just annoy the PvE-ers.
I don’t know how it would annoy the PvEers. Most of them farm CoF all day anyway, and 1g there would take 2 runs = 15 mins.
I just want to buy some ***ing siege, it annoys me when in the middle of the day we run out of superiors.
