BM: I want to present you my lovely jingle bear mia
If pet had voices: Mommy, I did it! :3
monkey steal
gorilla :stun punch
orang outan: throw a banana make the target slip (ok done with the monkey joking about banana
)
LOL i ran duncan the black in slaver exile as a full beast mastery ranger dude my pet was taking him on 1 on 1 and tanking him i made a lot of voltaic spear from this (NEVER never have i ever ran a single ’’meta’’ build save for COF solo monk running and i kind of did every single instance in the game). You foolish elitist are so full of yourself that you think running meta is all that there is to the game. Well ill tell you something, just because one runs meta doesnt mean that he can play it.
The same way just because someone run something else then meta doesnt mean he cant pull his share. I run 100% of my fractals party as pugs and i can tell i likely get more run done then you because it doesnt take me 1 hour recruiting my party out of people i dont know. If the guy is messing around (like agroing everything for fun) dont care at all for the team or just is plenty a jerk we kick it out (sometime guys like you who runs meta build get the kick button out because they are to careless or just plenty love flaming at everyone for what they run, we dont have time to waste on angry players who just keep raging mid run because they wanna get things done faster) and replace him mid run no harms done, better yet sometime they leave on their own and we get a replacement who does the job twice as better, players are expendable ressource wich can easily be replaced by the lfg system this isnt your wow healer or tank role here wich has a rarety of 80%. You guys needs to learn the definition of the word fun.
Note: I dont join parties… i make my owns from scratch with the lfg system lot of the time with friends :/ if a guy is to much of a jerk i always have that double kick ready and if one of us get kicked he gets invited back at the same speed, You want effectiveness and a failproof team then maybe you ought to stay in your guild this is the pug jungle here and there will always be a place for a thief or a ranger who can do his job (in any way he can) in my party.

well at this point it depends how you see it…. Sword definitively is a poor weapon for a beast master ranger but hey it deals the best personnal dps. At this point try and test around.
St.bernard with party res on a 120 second cooldown would be cute indeed and might even pose as a good support damage style pet.
hey griffons could actualy do for heavy damagers with swoop like ability (hey they did give us drake and devourer as animals why not griphons)
idk how they could use worm the thing is the movement problem unless it slither on the ground like a snake… actualy we could use having snakes
The bat spamming a sonic strike wich cause confusion would be fun
A personal damage meter that no-one else has access to? Sure.
I’ve heard there is one made, but arenanet confirmed that using it would be an offense, as it is a third party software. A personal recount would indeed allow people to be able to learn what stat combinations/skill rotations benefit them more. Albeit, its hard to actually judge effectiveness when you can’t constantly compare it to other people. If every one could see recount people would become aware of situations were they are doing some thing wrong, do it less, and help arenanet seriously balance classes to be more in line with each other.
The flip side of that being if everyone can see recount, I’d wager the majority of dungeon runners would kick the person who isn’t doing enough DPS, rather than help them.
Maybe if the recount didn’t actually show the names of the people, instead simply the damage (taken and received) in order of highest to lowest, then whoever is doing the lowest / receiving the highest can evaluate what they’re doing wrong.
If people want to collaborate in number-crunching, they can do so simply by speaking to each other. A shared recount isn’t needed for that.
guild wars 2 doesnt need a recount. no one does. Recount is one of the most kittened tool ever made. It ruins the game by forcing standards to everyone and limiting people to a single playstyle, look at world of warcraft you cant even play a afflict lock in raid because oooooommmmmggggggg not optimal dps get out. The dev said from the start that they want their content to be accessible to ANYONE making a recount would be against this policies.
the reason for the ascended limit? The answer is obvious they want you to work on SKINS not stats. Therefore this keeps old armor like arah and tier 3 worthwhile. All ascended gear is ugly by default to somewhat force the player farming new skins
or at least go after the old cool ones else people would all be ‘’wear ascended armor or go burn’’ and wed have trouble getting optimised party for dungeon. Point is they want us to keep farming old dungeon skins for our armor or buy them in the black lion shop.
@kyubi you could take d/d if you really want tom, but you’ll lose damage. why will you lose damage? skill #1 when invis gives you more bleeding damage, torment > bleeding for skill #3, while you have one skill to bleed someone with for d/d you could if you really wanted to but i don’t reccoment it, and if you want more stealth and condition removal than feel free to take hide in shadows like i said you could if you didnt want to take the venom heal :p
@phaeris thanks, and lots of people actually underestimate 2 npc spawned thieves autto attacking you, and when they’re summoned they will immediately attack you, so you have little time to react. also you can’t condition clear for forever ^^ and by
“c + d” i’m not sure what you mean, but if you mean shadow refuge, this build would counter that by jusy walked into the refuge and spamming cluster bomb on you. (sb #2 skill) :p
@stinkypants i still suggest p/d considering it does more damage, also with the #3 skill any class who has melee based damage has trouble trying to even hit you because you’ll be #3ing everytime they try.
@stlye yep but you can still kill someone quickly enough with your skills on cd / tank them as well
@siva mira i agree that it’s strong, but i disagree about it being “situational and very inflexible”, you should try it out then think about how it works
defrence here is death blossom is a AOE its true however that if you can spam stealth from 5 -1 you can pull a fine amount of bleeding but that will only work against one target and your kind of forced to actualy run in melee stab it go invis and break out with 1 wich is kind of a ‘’what the kitten’’ random gimmick for gun. Also the dual skill is kind of 100% of an evade so i have to run to the guy just to spam it (totaly against my idea of how a gun needs to be used) altrought i do agree pistol kite is nice im more of a straith forward player. The main difference here is that death blossom bleed last 13 second while pistol auto attack last 5, i cant preview the duration on the sneak attack but i assume its not so far from what auto attack does. This make DB bleed stack way easyer in general. True that torment is actualy dealing good damage but i think to rely on my venom for that because unlike the venom the torment on 3 isnt shared to everyone in the vicinity.

Domey.9804:
and in gw1, ranger was also carried by 1 skill. it was dshot. when you didnt play with it , your built was just a gimmicky one (like bunny thumper, thrasher, enraged lunge).
dshot was one of the best (if not the best) skills in gw1, i wish ranger had a similar skill like it in gw2.
Bunny Thumper was awesome. Pet AI wasn’t tho. (And it was annoying to get body blocked by your own pet.)
The sad thing is, those “gimmicky” builds were better / funnier to play than any GW2 ranger build atm. GW2 has such gimmick builds like spirit ranger xD Other classes have probably even more lame stuff. Idk, GW2 needs more utility (weapon skills) asap.
Gimmick build? i was running full 16 Beastmastery – 14 expertise with a full pet spell bar. My bear was solo taking on duncan the black with more damage reduction regen and armor then an ele with stoneflesh spamming mystic regeneration! Heal as one made pet leech health on strike and the thing even healed you on its hits! A well rounded beast master was invincible pve wise/pvp wise and it took at least 3 guy just to take one down because it was the only build from wich all spell were instantanous save for the heal wich could actualy kite all over the place without stopping and still keep doing nuts damage (liked my 200 brutal strike hit dude here comes another in 6 second!) while healing on the loose. Go ahead kill my pet i rez it instantly within 8 second and its that hard to damage youl be long dead before you manage to take it down xD
Whole point is that for a very long time pet was discarded as useless because everyone actualy hated on the AI but once the thing was off after its target you could actualy see the fear in their eyes as the thing would do the same damage as an enraged axe warrior with twice the speed and a near endless supply of health.
The moment Anet actualy get serious with the ranger pets here people will start fearing it for real.
This is a topic to let loose about what elite youd like to have for your ranger. your free to be very serious or not be serious at all ill start with a few idea
Stampede – shout (not inspired from world of warcraft at all)
Cooldown: 2 minute
Duration: 15 second
Both your pet are fighting at the same time and attack twice as fast
Glass munition – survival (based on GW 1)
Cooldown: 1 minute
Duration: 1 minute
Your projectile cannot be blocked inflict additionnal damage and inflict bleeds on the next 25 strike
Brutal strike – Shout (Based on GW 1)
Cooldown: 45 second
Duration: None
The pet deals a heavy damaging attack, if the target health was under 50% this ability recharge twice as fast
Trapper focus – Trap
Cooldown: 1 minute
Duration: 30 second
All trap recharge twice as fast and trigger 3 more time
Symbiosis – Spirit
Cooldown: 2 minute
Duration: 1 minute
For every boon the character is affected with it gains + 300 vitality
trigger – grant protection retaliation regeneration and stability to everyone within 1200 of the spirit for 15 second 20 second cooldown
This is a topic to all those rangers who actualy love pets and would like to post subjestion about future new furry feathered or scaled friend theyd like to capture or encounter in tyria
ill start openning the list with Guild Wars 1 pets as well as a few subjestion from players as well as possible location
1. Black Pheonix (pheonix type) —- hall of monument or end game area after the death of the last boss (possibly in fort trinity celebration room).
2. Rainbow Pheonix (pheonix type) —- hall of monument or end game area after the death of the last boss (possibly in fort trinity celebration room).

5. Iguana (Lizard type) —- Crystal desert
6. Lion (cat type) —- Crystal desert
7. Black wolf (wolf type) —- Charr homeland far shiverpeak
8. Tiger (cat type) —- Maguma jungle

Gota catch em all
This is NOT a rage topic about pet fix or bug nerf so please if your going to rage about pet mechanics go post where it will be heard.

While i do agree TSO look promising dont get your hopes up to soon. As for where Guild Wars 2 stands right now its just a mather of balancing a few skill out. The arena net i know isnt gunna leave thief endlessly in the dirt i could also bet theil soon get up a pvp/pve skill bar triage wich will set appart the pvp spec from the pve spec.
well look at it next they gunna nerf our endurence signet because coupled with this build the war will have 150% endurence regen + perma vigor and an auto landing strike.
give might on crit to longbow and youl see what happens… especialy if pet ALSO benefit from said might
ive actualy been running condition warrior since game release. Sword was all about bleeding damage and didnt had final trust yet but was still fun to play (who didnt like the gimmick of sword shield in GW1? i was running it as a Wa/Mo in the early days). It still was good but most people prefered critical to it so it somewhat remained an unused spec. I seriously think sword shield is an underused spec right now and deserve some love. Maybe if they reduced the shield cooldowns further for someone who specificaly specialised into it (next to no one specialise shield how sad).
the most absurd build ever… still i might just try it because im that crazy XD
but i liked my charr hobo sack 8D it match my race perfectly (trollface)
At this point you dont care about it just run it because ill point that out but people dont give a heck about who plays what in a pug. If a guy dont get your venom share then so what long as multiple people gets it
ArenaNet likes Warriors because the class name begins with a “w,” which stand for “winning.” Ranger begins with an “r” which stand for… well, you can probably guess what it stand for because you’re smart.
Also, In classic DnD ArenaNet (the whole company) was always afraid to play as the ranger because they got scared if they weren’t playing a heavy armor class, hence they don’t truly understand the class archetype.
ArenaNet was also founded by former Blizzard employees, and, as everyone knows, Blizzard ONLY makes P2W games like Stacraft.
ArenaNet was also originally named “TriForge” —a reference to the TriForce from The Legend of Zelda series, and as everyone knows Zelda is also a pay to win game.
It stands for Runty
If Anet REALY wants to make the ranger damage viable theil need to choose between 4 things.
A. Make pet damage stronguer in both pve and pvp at the expense of the ranger having to trait specificaly for damage not for defence
B. Make the longbow into the ranged version of the warrior greatsword having it proc might on every single hit or critical (wich would btway make nature ranger with boon share have their pet go crazy but would still be a good thing because the darn engy outdps us with a bombkit? kitten 8k per auto)
C. Give the shortbow better bleeding rate as well as the ability to cause burns and maybe torment with the crippling shot!
D. Make Axe into a better damaging weapon because lets face it its supose to deal heavy crit damage yet it hit like a guardian staff spam 8D
(edited by kyubi.3620)
you do know that if you run dual bow as a 20 in skirmish you get to have perma fury/swiftness permanantly on your longbow anyway? So whats the fuss about
how about they made longbow stack might on self on critical hits like GS does for warrior longbow is suposed to be the slow HEAVY damage ranged weapon. Maybe its time they made it so because i see a LOT of similarity between longbow and warrior greatsword
1. many multi hit moves
2. heavy auto attack damage
3. both are suposed to be critical damage weapon
so why is longbow STILL not benefiting from this effect
i was actualy gunna run condition damage thief share venom style for pve XD some guy had a genious idea of how to stack 25 torment on a mob using cond thief with scale venom and a lot of summon think the build is 30 0 30 0 10 it use only the scale and the skelk venom leech a lot of life on strike and use ambush, shadowstep and thieve guild as its elite. the guy runs it with dire. Now idk about you but you can use the 2 venom build and replace ambush and shadowstep by anything else you like. ill likely keep shadowstep and replace ambush by shadow refuge XD id definitively run this as a come back to the death blossom specialisation (18k hp not so glassy thief who deals heavy cond damage and heals like hell broke loose o.O?)
gunna be running this
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fYQQRAoY6YnkEVaa0JunQfaCh7hFCVPlXByS7BNZTxEA-jACB4iDimWAikWgOTtIas11FRjVJjIqWpEzcrIa1SBMp0I-e and start spamming that torment everywhere 8D
as for mob running around well thats totaly relative of how you see it because a LOT of the bosses do run around. As for trash mobs eh you can always bleed em to death spamming DB in a group of stacked mob realy hurt
i dont realy see an issue with venomous aura 360 range because ill proly be constantly in melee range of the boss where btway its very likely warrior guards and prety much all the melee dps also will be (wich is to say most of the team)
(edited by kyubi.3620)
what about trying it with grenades instead of big oll bomb? so to be able to do ranged dps instead of behing constantly forced to melee range
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fcIQFAUnIEFxakLaqQ9aEZMDSbCBfAw+8QuaLIE-jAyAYrgQQQoMAJvioxWcLiGruGT5SEVbvLiWdUAWF-e
can always switch to bomb kit when you need bigger aoe or a mass knockdown (at dredge for exemple) I mean i like bomb kit damage in your build but grenade has the advantage of allowing you to keep your distance while prety much giving you similar dps (+ if you run the might on crit rune after you got your 25 stack of bloodlust your grenade stacks might quite fast because of the multi hit
) I would run pistol shield however to gain a double buff (might on crit and bonus +5% damage wich both apply even if you use a kit!) and probably stay in grenade mode at all time unless i need to block in wich case ill use the kit or switch to pistol mode and activate both block or daze one after another. going dps on the dummy easily makes out a good 2.5k auto attack in pvp zone with half as much critical damage on auto attack no might no 25 stack and no bloodlust so i wonder how much damage it would do with twice that much critical damage in pve and buffed with banner like you were.
id replace swift kit with scope for extra critical chance however because swiftness is only usefull for running pve wise and its not like youl constantly spend your time running to begin with (just switch it when you gunna run from a place to another and you realy need swiftness)
build would run as 30 15 0 0 25. Now yea i know this looks like you got no cond removal and such but pve doesnt have as much condition as pvp do, + you get to kill thing quite fast. Now idk about 0 15 0 0 25 but it can always be switched to 0 10 0 0 30 if you think you got more then enought critical chance. i for myself like to have 60% without fury but i guess that if you constantly have fury having a 70% total crit chance you wont need the extra + 10% from mob under 50% hp and might as well run with a +5% critical damage and 50% endurence regen bonus.
breakdown bomb kit versus grenade kit down and ups: even with the final trait bomb deals better damage then tri-grenade by about 250 point on the auto attack in the skill calculation however bomb kit force you to fight in melee range and need only to crit once to do its full damage while grenade need to crit 3 time. However grenade will stack that vulnerability faster (3 vuln per attack because 3 grenade) and possess 2 cooldown attack (shrapnel and freeze) wich outclass the bomb auto damage and proc some condition (negligeable damage but still there) because of the number of hits you also are more likely to proc might from a sigil as well as the effect of sharpshooter. The tool belt grenade skill also deals way better damage then what the oll bomb do can be used at range and has a lesser sized aoe (calculated to 2800 total aprox in the editor versus the bomb 1794, however it it split amonst 7 shots wich may not all crit but will all proc vulnerability)
Now the question would be would you perma stay in tool belt mode or would you use rifle. because i must admit that jumpshot overcharged shot and blunderbluss all deal quite good damage.
(edited by kyubi.3620)
your build is highly interesting for the least but i rather try it as dual dagger. My reasons? well lets see… altrought i do aprove of pistol/dagger as a ranged weapon set dual dagger provide death blossom wich can add a serious bleed stack to the condition damage you already do here… if i run this in pve i have both a VERY tanky thief and a heavy damage conditionmancer who provide party healing support crowd control from multi targets and HEAVY aoe dps coupled with partywide fury/swiftness? This build sounds to good to be true and better yet i have condition removal and stealth? so its like Wut?
This build looks like a killer for both pvp and pve tbh +1
Also gives me a serious reason to go play my DD thief again
However id run it with some rabid trinket in fractals because you need to have actual agony resistance and using the fury proc trait instead of caltrop while pulling bleed on critical strike with DB multi hit is actualy good when you have this much cond damage.
(edited by kyubi.3620)
running 30 0 30 0 10… venom death blossom build feels glorious XD
Basilisk venom
devourer venom
Ice Drake venom
skelk venom
spider venomthese are allpopped and on cooldown immediately after thieves guild. if he didnt pop thieves guild and then use all these….there is no chance of him melting the guy like the OP said.
so you think he is going to be able to help alot and survive with no swiftness no aegis…no blocks or invulnerablity…. no defense no nothign? just CND and sneak attack? heh….no.
Basilisk Venom and Thieves Guild are both Elite, so you can use BV with TG.
Survive? Yes easily if he run life stealing venom, if he also run Mug the guy will actualy be a holy hell hard to kill and its even worse if he start spamming stealth. The guy likely also has regeneration. How id run it would be 30 0 30 0 10 and id have poison duration additionnal stack and might on venom + life stealing venom heal on bleed and venomshare coupling that with the buff to giving myself crit might and switfness on stealing. Idk if seeing poison, mass bleed, torment, weakness, frozen, and immobilized stacked on your head as i teleport on you with steal and start spamming death blossom would make you panic but thats what most people i destroy in spvp live with when i run condition thief. Unless you got zerker stance or the ability to remove all condition in a snap of a finguer your prety much screwed good because behing immobilized for a while your already bleeding your health out from death blossom (death blossom main strenght is the number of hits/aoe bleed damage it causes) It can immagine a lot of situation where running heavy condition damage thief can make venom actualy dangerous. Venom however clearly are not made for physical damage thief who want to specialise into critical
even without thieve guild if i use basilisk venom the build is likely to be a condition bomb
(edited by kyubi.3620)
engineers? your kidding right… its basicaly the hardest class in the game to play right now just beside of the elementalist. It takes treasure of imagination and a solid rotation ability to even run that build correctly (most player wont even use a rotation or simply put cannot do so!) I run Static discharge in spvp and its nothing short of a pain in the BLEEP. Enginer isnt op. Actualy Anet should reward skilled player who know how to chain their weapon right rather then constantly break the game gimmick by nerfing builds. The issue here is warrior can deal twice the effectiveness for half the effort and that shouldnt be. I respect the enginer who actualy does his kill using a grenade kit (hell of a pain to aim the while moving in pvp! not to mention they sure wont always stand in the explosion you need to guess where theil be when the grenade will land because of the flight delay and its nothing short of the hardest type of range battle) but i cant actualy award a WOW to the guy running a greatsword spam just because he managed to stun chain me into a HB combo. Now now i do however respect a full speced hammer warrior who runs physical with buff removal and know how to chain stun a non stabilised player into oblivion but since close to NO ONE run physical and always actualy try to ham/bow it can we actualy realy call this a stun build nah i dont think so, Ham/bow is more of a combo zone spec then an actual knockdown chain build the same style we had in GW 1.
Note: Most player never run physical utility, but the actual glass cannon physical Hammer warrior is quite strong, If you ever happen to see a guy who run 30 0 20 0 20 in a zerker armor with constant fury and keeps chain stunning while stacking actual heavy hits between the blows you know youve been destroyed by a glass hammer build. Yea the build has its problem however like any actual build who rely entirely on a very dodgeable weapon, but go ahead an run away from me once ive crippled you… my bull rush will always land right in your face.
Point is warrior rewards to much for its easy playstyle and as such other class wich have to work their head like crazy (enginer, ranger) have exelent reason to be kitten ed off warrior pulling it out.
(edited by kyubi.3620)
warrior was meant to be played as a weapon master. therefore it would be unlogical if it was ’’weaker’’ as a ranged weapon user. Ranged weapon war are just defrent build. The way the game should be played ALL weapon should be on equal therm, you said the guardian sacrifice its range for good melee dps what you fail to realise is if spirit weaponry was actualy any decent scepter would become a somewhat deadly ranged build not to mention that its aoe still do a good amount of damage. I see a lot of guardian in SPVP using scepters and it actualy work.
Now now All weapon on ranger should actualy be equal in therm of effectiveness but ranger is so broken down on both damage and AI (the pet needs to be tweaked up) that they have to work treasure of creativity to even make a build viable to begin with.
scepter: conditionmancer Staff: bunker/mm Axe: soul reaper Dagger: soul reaper/ vampire
Necromancer weapon use is prety much balanced, every weapon has its own build.
Ele weapons are all balanced youl see as many staff ele as D/D S/D ele around, Focus is fine in pve
Mesmer use all their weapon depending on the build and situation (ive not seen that many scepter mesmers but there are a few)
Engy simply put suck at using their weapon… most player always use them with kits and rarely with a flamethrower, its utherly sad for a class wich had so much potential for firearms.
Thief: if pistol pistol was any better wed see a lot more ranged thief around the place. I started playing as a thief to have fun with dual pistol but it quickly became clear the weapon didnt actualy had a place as a damage weapon. Pistol bleed stack to slowly and the physical damage it does is somewhat jokish your better off dual wielding dagger or using a bow
The problem isnt warrior behing unbalanced masterfuly using all the weapons but the other class having problem using their weapon list because of the current skill instability. The moment every class will be able to use all their weapon in a build well see a rise in new build possibility the same way we did in guild wars 1 many actual pvp build. (i ran several strange stuff in guild wars 1 from nightmare weapon hundred blade ritualist who endlessly block to scepter beastmasters in faction and even an actual smiting assasin monk build this game needs to start openning its variation)
warrior doesnt actualy need a downside, its the other class that need to be upped up
(edited by kyubi.3620)
id recommand trying a cond build if you feel uneasy with critical damage. Cond is somewhat way more durable and it aint like if mob could cond cleanse you either.
What mathers is that you play what you want and feel confortable to. Just because some meta says you to play something doesnt mean you have to. As long as your doing very good
(edited by kyubi.3620)
This is the build ive always ran on my warrior to be honest. So yea the guy who made that vid is utherly right.
well he has the guts to actualy post something that isnt critical damage based on a mind closed forum so he has my respect.
thats what i ponder because grenades can actualy do realy good critical damage. Maybe if i switch the bomb kit for something else keep grenade as the main damage tool and have the third as another quick recharge i can find a compromise. Because lets face it doing only rifle auto attack damage is somewhat terrible if you have to wait for SD everytime you wanna deal damage
EDIT: i did a small change here (didnt need bomb kit anyway cept that big oll bomb mass knockdown is epic for crowd controlling mobs but if we talk damage purpose…)
removed all those useless cripple trait for burning on critical and free armor break at 50% chance on crit
why not abuse of grenade actual heavy critical damage dps since we gunna cap it with zerk? i mean why not combine it with the spec. True its only 55% chance to do critical but youl get fury from party and in pve you wont realy need google as much as in pvp because the mobs is likely to get its 25 stack of vulnerability quite fast.
i cant get to understand you to choose between rifle having a not so important bonus to precision and about 20% more dps at best and grenade wich basicaly does a 4k auto attack.
I know im using one of the SD slot for it but considering i get to have 2 very short cooldown SD and a 23 second one im willing to make the tradeoff especialy for an increased bonus to power and heavy damaging grenade when not doing SD damage. Beside i can actualy run pistol/shield for free block have my pistol get the rune of power on crit and my shield run bloodlust for heavy damage boost from might stacking or giving it the bleed on critical effect (honestly why not? im using a toolkit and i still get benefits from those effect so why limit it to one buff from a rifle ill barely use)
(edited by kyubi.3620)
may i ask why not going 30 10 0 0 30? i mean you can litteraly gear up full valk or partial valk to get your 70% crit chance without even having fury (the 30 in spite is for the 20% damage increase to foe under 50% health and god know bosses often are under that percentage) i dont get why you need precision this much when the build litteraly provide a base + 50% to critical strike chance (with a base 20% crit rate your already at 70% fury less o.o) Again this would apply only if your constantly in Death shroud wich with that new 50% DS trait is very likely to happen.
add a cooldown reduction of 50% on minion summon recharge 8D
thing is 1h sword is actualy a condition style weapon so it aint much viable as critical damage altrought i do guess criting a guy 7 k with final trust is kind of funny when the guy is half health…
cant realy subjest without trying it and i dont have my laptop by my side right now
Tbh im unconcerned about how much dps my teamate do… i see a guy sucking at staying alive trought or failing to help i kick it especialy if he charge in like hes chuck noris and dont want to acknowledge his poor gaming when someone mention it to him or stop what hes doing (to hell with all those leroy fans)
may i ask where youl put those 10 point then? because i dont recall puting them into the power spec or the critical damage spec to be any good when it comes to condition damage
At this point longbow need to stack might on self when attacking so to actualy make it on par with Greatsword. Longbow is a sniping weapon. it deserve sniping damage Longbow should be our second most damaging weapon in the list yet one sword beat it big time and Greatsword overshadow it by far. what in the word R A N G E R does the dev not understand. Longbow marksmanship sniping style was the heavy damage ranger weapon in gw 1 it deserve to get that spot back again.
Ill Tell you how it should work
Heal as one: Heal with your pet effectively reviving it if dead to 50% of its health 30 second cooldown.
Heal as one was the MAIN beast mastery spec healing in Guild Wars 1 as well as the most used pve resurection spell in the game and as such should work the same way as before
Definitively would put a final end to pet behing kitten d in pve and would put the final line between beast mastery specialist and regular ranger who dont give a darn about their pet and dont even bother traiting them. Heal as one should also be considered a shout style or pet ability for the purpose of reduced cooldown only beastmaster would benefit from
for charr necro? especialy if female run feathered chestpiece, winged hood, no spauldron or any spauldron youd like, and try it with priory legging now now put all this in abyss and dark green and you got a necrolike charr female armor that looks skimpy
id like to see more fur and less robe on the light armor to be honest. Even in the case of a Charr magic and shamanism is better done with lighter clothers. Feathered chestpiece works well in that direction altrought i guess a light armor the like of gladiator in light armor for male and female alike would also do great for those ’’shaman’’/’’wizard’’ like charr
Nothing to say here im gunna buy 5 makeover kit this month and get those new face done for all my character o_O (well at least 2 charr 1 sylv 1 human) its not that i dont want a new asura face but all my girl are already uber cute without the new one. Asura female already had a cute style face before so eh but Wow for charr they did something epic. maybe well even see some rerolls around to charr female
well wow at charr female asura male and human female those are EPIC face! i wanna change mine Q_Q so much
Note: asura male could never look any better then now it makes me sad i got none and got all my char slot filled. However im SOOOOO changing both of my charr face now this snow leopard look is beyond cute! I need get my computer back and running and fast!

well maybe they want people to actualy run this trait as 20 0 30 20 0 but i get your point. However they wont be able to make it stronguer if they move it to adept only.
Death tree is… the death tree the same way inspiration is full of phantasm bonus for mesmer so is the death tree filled with stuff that reinforce pets… theres no escaping it when it comes to death magic. if anything wells related or staff related trait should be moved to spite or blood
Ranger is not a bug the mesmer is a bug… Proof? Its actualy a virus who duplicate at will and fill your screen with copies of him until you die 8D
Dev seems to be considering it but nothing is solid yet maybe theyl put it elsewhere but if they reduce the CD to 10 or 5 getting death nova and this is sure gunna be worth it. (having endless supply of rising pets easily look like a grandmaster trait to me wich should be availlable only to the real dedicated MM and not to hybrid build but they better make it be worthwhile)
Well you know… this could be worse you could get nerfed dead like necro are or get one of your spec owned like thief and warrior have or just get a little of both like rangers do (poor sods are hardly making it trought). Instead of complaining about getting little buff you should be enjoying not getting any downsides. Ive never seen meditation guardians any better then now. I play all class in the game and check about every forum… all forum cept guardians and mesmer are complaining against a nerf this one complains about having not received enought.
They rage against the old version of the skill not the new one. sadly they xfering this to the 30 point death nova trait XD but oh well im a true MM so i dont care ill just have it for free + another trait i dont even know about what i wish is if they made a trait that reduced all minion creation cooldown by 50% ahahahaha
To be honest eternity is the ultimate waste of money ever made. Mainly because twilight looks better daywise then eternity do. Also because eternity is just a copy pasted skin with a defrent name
