Weapons can’t currently be infused, so at the moment only Rings and Backpieces can get them.

Are they infused as in having two Infusion slots?

You need to “Infuse” your item (currently only available for Rings and Backpacks), this will give them an Infusion slot where you can equip the new Infusions.

Should people somehow be rewarded less just because they happened to end up in a worse league?
The matches are probably still about the same, since there will be very good and very bad servers (relatively) in all leagues.

I would say people would be more ticked off if you couldn’t get the “best” reward just because you didn’t happen to be on a stacked server.

It is also a bit late to be ticked off, seeing as this information have been available since long before the leagues started.

She did work with the Inquest at one point after all.

And you have no proof of that, so stop claiming it as facts in order to try to discredit her.
It is actually quite likely that she was writing the main story-line of GW2 as well, including Halloween, Wintersday and the rest of those beloved releases.

Seems like she was not actually part of the Live Team in GW1. So we will simply have to accept that we do not know if she was involved in the writing there or not.
But claiming that she did literally nothing from 2007 to 2012 is quite silly and you don’t have anything at all to back that up with.

We KNOW Scarlet worked with the Inquest.
We KNOW she was kicked out due to something.
We KNOW that the Reactor is an Inquest Installation.
Thus it is quite easy to connect the dots and see that Scarlet being there makes absolute sense.

She was hired as a WRITER in 2007.
Are you going to claim that she sat down and did NOTHING AT ALL for 5 years?

She talks about PRIOR to her employment, which wold mean BEFORE she got hired in 2007.

Based on information from ArenaNet themselves she official joined (which would imply started working with) the writing team in 2007, the THREE YEARS before they released the first part of Beyond, so I would say it is very likely that she was involved in the writing of those parts.

Meaning things that are not supposed to be there or happening, are there. So the enemies there are there because of the instabilities, not because they were there to begin with.

That is however the whole point of the fractals.
Stabilizing things. She (it?) says more or less exactly the same during every single instance.

Scarlet should not be in the foundation of such significant lore. It was an Inquest installation.
We know Scarlet worked with the Inquest.
We know that Scarlet did something (which might very well be this very situation) and was thrown out of the Inquest.

The bigger a software is, the bigger the risk for issues turning up.

Also as the person above me states it quite simply have to do with the fact that they are better/faster at fixing the bugs and thus it looks like more bugs exists.

Look at the patch notes for each update. Since the beginning of the game, you would get 0-2 replies (mini patches to fix said patch), starting early spring 2013/summer 2013 you would get 6-7 patches to fix bugs and such. Obviously there was a change to the QA process.

I would say it is more of a case that people need to stop shouting about this not making sense, no matter how much you hate the character you should at least consider the facts.

That is how a wiki works.
Usually it doesn’t take that much time to get it updated.

It also doesn’t really require much guessing. Just put all the ingredients in and it will show you the amount needed.

I am actually rather sure (I have not completed it though) that there is not a single Aetherblade guy in there.
I have seen loads of Flame Legion Charr and other creatures, but those all existed long before Flame and Frost.

I’ve played the other level 1 fractals, and this is not comparable in difficulty IMO.

Most of them were, at the start.
People complained about how hard the fractals were back a day after their release as well.

You have to keep in mind that everyone is new to this fractal, while it is likely that people had already done the other fractals when you teamed up with them and thus knew what to do (or could at least read up on what to do).

ArenaNet does not edit the wiki.

ArenaNet are the ones hosting it but all information is added by players.

You need to keep in mind that the only reason why this is “story mode” is because people should be given a chance to do it, without having to wait for it to turn up in the regular rotation.
It is exactly the same as the real Fractal, and thus it will have around the same difficulty as the other Fractals.

They already have about 4 months worktime for these updates, due to them having several different teams working at the same time.

I don’t really think adding an extra month or two on top of that will make much difference tbh.

Oh im calling it now, scarlet blew up the reactor to release these magical energy to trigger the dragons to wake up. Which will then tie her into the events of pre-Scarlet aswell. And we can then truely say “Scarlet did it, scarlet did everything”.

The Dragons (most of them at least) woke up long before the explosion.

They had the story ideas written before the voting was done, they even confirmed that.

What makes you think she would have been in the Abaddon Fractal if that one have won?
Maybe it just worked in their favor that they had the chance to use the Reactor Fractal in order to explain more of Scarlets backstory?

I am fully aware how the Black Lion Chest works.

They do not make the game P2W though, especially not since you can’t even buy them directly, and you can get said keys in-game, thus the boost themselves are available just as much (or even more actually, since the chests only comes from the game) in-game as in the gemstore.

Yeah, it is a bit funny how people keep talking about how awesome all the coming games will be.

EXACTLY the same happened before GW2 was released, and clearly it did not meet your expectations, so why would these new games do it?

This ALWAYS happen with every single new big release, it is hyped up like mad and will be “loads better than all other games!” and in 99% of the cases it just disappoints.

ArenaNet releases something unique as reward: “Buhuhuh, they are locking unique stuff behind time-limited grinding!”

ArenaNet releases something people have wanted to get more of (in the case of the other two materials, not bloodstone so much): “Buhuhu, ArenaNet only puts out useless rewards that are not unique!”

It is likely that she will be left out of the classic holiday-events.

As for her being part of the Fractal.
It makes sense. She did work with the Inquest.
Something happened so that she was thrown out.
This Fractal clearly shows something happening with an Inquest installation.

It is getting buried quickly simply because people have more interest in other threads and the majority doesn’t care about this (it is after all mainly the same 5 people posting in this thread)

They are “common” drops so you should only need to spend $40-$60 to get an advantage over other players.

It is highly unlikely that an update for Ascended Armor will be called “The Update for Ascended Armor!”

Well it does make sense that Scarlet is involved in this very situation, seeing as she actually DID work with the Inquest and got thrown out. Which must likely happened because of this situation.

Having her in the Abaddon Fractal would however not make any sense whatsoever, seeing as that took place over thousand years before the Sylvari even existed.

An increased level must not mean new tiers. It is fully possible to stay with the same tiers but with higher levels.
