Why assume they won’t change how Fractals work with the coming update?
The main issue with this is that it is an online-game.
Which means that unforseen circumstances such as sudden lag-spike, loss of connection and so on could kill your character, even without you doing something wrong.
This would be a nightmare for customer support with people contacting them demanding to get their stuff back due to losing them because of circumstances outside of their control.
It was also made quite clear during said vote that both candidates would researching the Molten Alliance Facility and Aetherblade Retreat, so yes. They are both coming back as Fractals at the same time as the Reactor (which seems to be on the 26th).

Saying they “screwed up” is a great way to get them to listen.
Why not be more constructive and say what you didn’t like and what they could have done better?
Personally I believe that had they just put the same Halloween as last year people would have shouted about them being lazy and not adding anything and stuff.

There was 2 or 3 today, given that apparently were or critical bug related I’m wondering what’s happening with internal testing.
There is always issues that turn up when going from testing-servers to live. No matter how much you test it.
There is no 4th level.
Lvl 3 is the highest with Travel-golem, then you have to make it to the top where the Instance is, and that is the highest point of the Tower.
So basically what you would like is an 800 gem option in addition to the 1000 gem option for the store. The 800 gem item would be soulbound, the 1000 gem item would be account bound.
I don’t see why they couldn’t figure out something to make that happen.
It might be as simple as not being able (or most likely willing, due to the risk of issues) to have two almost identical items in the same database.
Having duplicate items with just a tiny bit of difference is usually not a good idea.
And that is just the point.

Only if you’re lucky enough. I’m not. For example, with the aetherblade dungeon, i nearly never dropped any single keys (and i had to buy them in order to have 5), despite killing a lot of mobs everywhere and having a lot of loot.
The drop rate for these key-parts are MUCH higher than the drop-rate for the Aeather-keys.
Talk to the Travel-Golem close to the WP at floor 1.
He will let you teleport to any Travel Golem you have unlocked.
We THINK that the tower dies.

It is not an overflow map like that.
It is a map that you can select to join just like the regular maps, but it will create overflows if it is full.
Why do people always bring up the Gold to Gem prices when complaining about costs?
The cost is not and never will be balanced around that rate.
It costs exactly the same to transfer today as it did when they first implemented paid transfers.

Well, not all achievements need to be doable on the map.
Currently there are several achievements that can’t be done on all maps after all.
The purpose was most likely to give people that missed those events some information about what has happened up until now. Which is something people have shouted for since the Living Story started.

The three images seems to be Aetherblade Retreat, Molten Alliance Facility and Reactor.
I have already addresed that issue Vayne. I am not saying an LS team should work on it. I am saying that a team should work for a whole cycle to release a patch that only addresses bugs within the game.
But what should the rest of the employees do during that time then?
All those that can’t fix bugs?
Should they just sit down and do nothing?
If not, why can’t they release both fixes and new content? As they are doing now?
That would however defeat the whole point of the tokens.
The tokens are dungeons specific because you are supposed to do said dungeon to get access to said dungeons gear.
If you can suddenly get said dungeons gear without ever entering said dungeon the whole system would be pointless.
You get them based on the standing at reset (winner 3 chests, runner-up 2 and third gets 1)
These can be viewed on the Rank and Abilities tab of the WvW window and are rewarded when you rank up (on per rank, so if you get the 3 it will take 3 rank-ups to get them all).
Nope, they stay forever until you rank-up and get your regular + 1 bonus chest.
Nah, more like laziness on the part of A-net in not being able to read a map that doesn’t show the US or Europe on it. This doesn’t seem to stop other companies from doing the exact same thing (Wargaming.net do it all the time, as does Blizzard, etc).
Seriously, the people going on about “different laws in different countries” have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and just parrot earlier responses of the equally clueless.
Oh, I was under the impression that countries like Russia and Norway was part of Europe, and thus would show on a map over Europe. Silly me.
It IS a matter of laws and regulations, no matter if you want to accept it or not.
I have yet to see a single video-game contest that does not have limitations, but I suppose they just do that for fun then?

If you’re unable to do the second one, doing the first one would only be of poor quality.
If someone can only do the first one but not the second one that then means they are unable to critically look at code they write and think about how it interacts with the existing code around it which is not a good sign since that demonstrates a weak programmer who should be having anything that code reviewed by a technical lead.
bugs exist in the vast majority of cases because someone can’t do the first one with the quality required and also didn’t test their work throughly enough or think about it critically enough.
So, how come the requirements for a job as a bug-fixer is usually different (and higher) than those of a programmer?
Fixing bugs is one thing, but FINDING them and/or the reason for them is a different thing entirely and thus someone that is “only” programming might have a harder time fixing said bugs than someone that is educated and hired specifically for that reason.
I am not saying they aren’t capable to fix bugs. I am just pointing out that not everyone on the teams have knowledge about fixing bugs.
Nor is even everyone on the teams programmers.
Writing code and finding/fixing bugs can very well require two different skill-sets.
So basically making Feedback in a large clash completely useless?
It is already possible to see if a Feedback is friendly or not by paying attention to the fight. Making it more visible would just make it useless since it would be way too easy to avoid it.
two week cycle does not equal two weeks of dev work…there’s 4 living story team’s, given only 1 team get’s content out each 2 week period (and occasionally it’s not 1 of those 4 teams but 1 of the other teams) that’s 2 months of bug fixing….
And what makes you so sure that the Living Story teams are full of bug-fixers?
If you were here at release you would have been fully aware that they do quite a bit about bots.
The amount of bots running around now is MUCH lower than it was back at release, so clearly they have done something about it.
But it takes time. They must investigate, they must try to find a long-time solution and so on.
What would be the point to ban a bot if a new one just pops up a day later?
It is interesting how people so convinently seems to ignore the fact that we DO get new weapons and other skins IN-GAME.
As for adding the unlimited crafting tools in dungeons that would be extremely stupid.
Why lock people out of something like that?
Everyone is able to get stuff from the gem-store.
But not everyone is able to do dungeons.
It is much easier to just create an account than it is to steal one.
And with something like this you could steal an account and suddenly you had two bots instead of just one.
Making it easier for botters is never a good idea.

That was more than 1 week before.
Which would mean the strong server would only need to focus on 1 enemy……
And just merging servers like that would never work.
The servers have learned how to work within itself. Suddenly adding loads of new people that play in a completely different way would lead to rather major issues.
They did indeed remove culling.
If you can’t see stuff that might be issues with your computer or possibly the settings of the game. Because culling was very much removed with the Clockwork Chaos release in August.

Advertisement for the free weekends have been quite good, but it requires you to actually pay attention rather than being hit with it every time you log in (it have been in the launcher every time though).
You said you wanted 2 worlds instead of 3 if outnumbered.

Also I said it before, we have time machines at our disposal. It would not be a problem to go get one.
There are also pictures with skyscrapes, but I have yet to see one of those in Tyria
And no, I do not think we have time-machines available. The only thing resembling one would be Fractals of the Mist, and that doesn’t really involve time-traveling.
So instead of getting some relief due to the other server attacking the steamrolling server you would rather be steamrolled without any chance of relief?
To me, the end of culling is still moot and completely useless until they remove the culling of foes in PvE.
You are aware that they did this a few months ago, right?
When ever these threads pop-up people seems to overlook a rather major point.
Not everyone of the devs are bug-fixers.
Not everyone of the devs are polishers.
And so on.
If everyone was able to do everything we would have had a massive amount of fixes every single release, including loads of new stuff.
