Not gonna continue arguing with you guys, as if it was the group fault for having 15 tears spawn at an alarming rate when these were cleared constantly every time we went through the realm and outside…
And even if wing 4 is the easiest wing, why most pugs have trouble with Deimos then?

Thief is very strong atm, maybe stronger then ever, that’s partially because some of the other profs got nerfed.
Before last patch guard probably was the best thief counter, now guard is just meh.

Necro is pretty good if you know how to play it, which is not that hard, BUT and here is the big but… Unless you have your own group or you are lucky enough and find the commander that is not delusional and narrow minded, you will have very hard time finding group. People are just sheep and follow the so called “meta”. That’s why I stopped playing my necro, since I no longer have dedicated raid group.

You should be getting at least 1 per pod. Going into the meta with 70 keys, and whatever I get from progression awards, I average around 110-120.
I’ve seen people claim less than ~70 per 70 machetes used, but… never from someone who seemed meticulous about keeping track. Myself, I estimate I need one DS meta per 50, so I always end up being pleasantly surprised because it’s always more than that.
Never had less then 100. 100-110 is the average for me.
Leveling, definitely axe over dagger. Axe/x and Staff and you will have easy times. Utilities, use either minions or wells.

I went to EOTM immediately after the patch to try some things out. A group was pushing up a bridge, I dropped Plaguelands at the end of the bridge, dropped WoC behind them, Epi’d someone and pretty much laughed as they struggled to kill me while they all died, lol.
hehe, there is one positive. when you run alone against 10+ and place plaguelands, most people will think “easy target” and will stay in it and try to kill you. So in the end you can take few with you.

I will miss being a fluffy ball of plague with the ability to ress/stomp and hold out until heal CD is done.
Wallowing in reminiscence probably won’t help though.
Taking Master of Corruption in Curses will turn it into a short-CD condi-spam festival, so that’s something to look forward to.
Yeah it can turn decent in raids with alacrity, but nobody wants necros, so…
Epidemic was the highest single skill dps in the game and as the rule go, who ever has the crown will be nerfed.
Ok, nerf it, but keep it usable, but no. Seems they always do the same kitten. They just bury the skill and call it a day.
I just tested epidemic and tbh this skill is now completely useless, unless used on static targets.

Plague was one of the only elite which grants stability and move around with it, now it’s just a random AoE even worse than cloud of corrosive poison (corruption skill with 30s CD which lasts 8s).
Agree… They took all the best parts of plague, namely stability, double toughness and movable aoe and turned it into average pve only elite well, which is not even well… such a fail… sigh
Talking about minions.
Rigor Mortis should be aoe 2 or 3 target instant immobilize with 30-35cd.
and
Haunt should has much faster reaction, something like 1/2 or even 1/4 and a bit larger aoe.
True that, but I can’t think of anything in between. Larger blast maybe, 360 as big as meteor shower/time warp.
3. Bone Minions:…. make the active part ground targeted.

This can’t happen, minions are uncontrollable, ground target will mean to give the minions target and wait for them to reach it and then explode. Do you see the silliness in this?!
There is easier fix, The blast happens at players location. No matter where the minion is you blast around you.
I would love more UW, but the combat need additional twists, maybe new environmental options to use against creatures and bosses.
Also the whole ocean part need to have more then 1 level. similar to the 3 level HoT maps. then it can have a lot of hidden content and it will be worth exploring. Maybe make some dive gear that allow not only for swim, but for ground moving/walking on ocean bottom.

Very poor indeed. Why is god cowardly disguised as some lower creature?! Just make no sense. Also if it turns out we killed/disabled 2 dragons with 15 min of game play… well this will be epic fail.
This is definitely a better way to get the back item, then the previous LS3 maps. I only have 1 of them, because it was so annoying and dull to gather the resources… Here at least we have some interaction, and farming hears is much faster too. I consider it another daily.
Chill will be way to strong on dagger. Maybe 0.3-0.5 cripple, but still might be to strong.
maybe 0.5 weakness?! or poison… dunno. if they add condition thy will need to lower the damage. very hard to balance this one.
Greater range make no sense, maybe the last attack can be 150 range, but not more then that.
Stealing small amount of hp on one of the attacks is also a good idea instead of the condition. something like 100ish hp every 2 sec. to much?! dunno… hard task that one

Hopefully like the other poster above mentioned, its more like pestilence egyptian styleIf anything, that may come from the fact that nightfall’s undead are mostly awakened statues. Simply speaking the spirit possess a lump of sculpted earth/iron/gold. This could be a decent explanation. Hwever, I got no explanation or theory for them associating this thing to the name “scourge”. Thought I also got some issue associating “scourge” with any kind of support especially the forementioned support via “barrier” that absorb damage.
I think people are piling a lot of their idea onto a blurry concept from which we only reliably got the name. It’s fun to have some idea but it’s dangerous to take them from granted.
First thing I thought of when I heard Scourge was “the Scourge of Vabbi” aka Palawa Joko, the undead lich lord. I’m fairly sure that’s what Anet wants us to think.

The sand thing doesn’t really make sense, but it seems to be the route that they’re going in. According to leakers, the sand shroud thing is gonna give barriers which absorb damage to allies. So apparently it’s tank/support.
kek, now I imagine something like: Absorb 33% damage for 5sec/5 players/360 radius/90sec cd

But deviating from meta will impact your kill time and success chance, depending on raid overall skill. Also pugs are adamant about strict meta setups.
All this is true, but finding group which is willing to deviate from the “meta”, now that’s the hard part ;D
I guess that was a fast fix for leftover LIs. Now even if you have all possible LIs you still need 130ish more to finish all 3 sets.

Yes ple, more minions. Fix Lich form. 150sec cd/40sec minion duration. that way with spectral mastery it can be 120 sec cd and still be ok.
Alternatively made minion attack every 4s with 6s bleed, so they dont stack to many at once, but still be able to keep 10ish bleeds at all time.
With all due respect, don’t call it burn build then. because its some hybrid, but the dedicated burn traits are not there

now this looks like a proper burn build, not like the op weird build.
1. LFG sometimes also closes automatically if there is one joining and immediately leaving an advertised group of one lonely player.
2. Maybe your lfg description/written words were offending to other people?
The system Always close LFG if there is only 1 player in the group. After leaving your group you are the only player and the system interpret this as group disband.
Raiding is not hard at all. All you need is practice. The hard part is finding group. Maybe will be easier to create your own group, but you and your mates need to be very patient, people will leave. If you can find 10 patient players, you are golden.

All I want is useful and viable options and don’t care even if they are boring or lack finesse. A lot of burning and cc and defensive options on torch and shroud to make condi crazy op is all I wanna see.

Hmm… Elite skill: Set yourself on fire and run in a 240 circle 5 times, once (pulse) per second, setting fire to your enemies (2 sec burning per pulse). Combination fire field.

MH, moderate mid-close range dmg with defensive abilities or support and OH – condi/burn oriented. But thats highly unlikely to happen…
The colouring part is very, very disappointing. I got both light and heavy and especially the heavy armor looks almost the same, no matter which dye I use. It cannot be dark, even abyss dye looks light gray… Very disappointing indeed
Light armor is a bit better, but again, the color of its animated parts can only be white… why?!?!?

Prefer defensive torch with blast/stelth/blind or mace with blocks/invulnerability.
Should be a dark field not a water field. We don’t have convenient enough blast finishers to make a water field work.
We already have access to dark fields. The water field can be easily blasted with Bone Minions, though I understand no current build utilizes Bone Minions and Well of Blood. However, with it being a water field, it could be a useful group heal that would allow allies to blast it for extra healing. It’s not just for ourselves. And again, we have plenty of dark fields.
Minions are uncontrollable, blasting with them can be more inconvenient. In team fight it might be ok, but will still be useless for you, unless we get blasts on weapons.
Agree, CPC should be instant cast, like Wall of Reflection and Feedback. Most other reflecting skills are either instant casts or channeling skills.
Staff is good in pve, especially in big events with a lot of adds. Tags numerous enemies and loot and exp is great.
The resistance can be an issue, especially given the cast time of Epidemic. Often i will cast on a target without resistance (or corrupt the existing resistance) and by the time it lands the target has been spammed with resistance.

Would be great if Raids have story 5 man or solo mode. Similar to dungeon. Where you fight against different, much weaker enemies and bosses, maybe even in different parts of the instance, which are closed in the raid.
Not easy mode, but pre-story mode!
