So Princess Snuffle [TEST]/[DHE]/etc spent 7 hours today in IOJ BL walking back and forth between sentries with her commander tag up not doing a thing except intercepting our ninja attempts.

What I want to know is what is she getting paid to do that mind-numbing job for your server and if it’s a lot, can I be recruited for you guys? Need the gold and all.

I stayed up the other night to witness your oceanic takeover of our BL. That was the night you weren’t able to take any of our keeps because lo and behold, someone was awake to build an arrow cart to stave off the orange-sword popping zerg. So you decided to go hit FC instead. Since when does “superior tactics” involve happening to live on the other side of the planet?

So who is the AoD commander who laced SE tower with 4 Arrow carts and refused to come out and fight our small group until he comfortably outnumbed us two+ to one? Dem magic find stacks work better when you’re killing people rather than hiding behind walls. Was still the most fun I had at reset. But that’s not the DR I know and love to hate.

on top of the oily, slimy, sinking feeling of unfairly losing the objective being defended under my direction…. gaming psychology 101 says it takes 4~11 positive events to forget it happened. and with how many more people dh has, those positive events dont come fast enough.

this matchup was bad enough being on the outmanned server… but salt in the wounds.

I feel for you, for everyone who has had to defend against a bigger zerg using exploits. It’s bullkitten and they all know it. It ruins the game for the people who have to defend against it. As a defensive commander and someone who spends most of my time defending, I have sat there going “what the kitten am I supposed to do against that?” as well.

DH, what are you guys doing? I understand it’s fun to come out strong on a reset, but you do realize that you’re going to make both FC and IoJ just want to give up, right? I’m not to keen on an essential 1v1 with DH because you demoralized FC enough to where they don’t show up at all. You keep going at this rate, and nobody is going to be in WvW. Do you really need to capture all of EB, all of FC’s BL, and have half of our BL? If you keep it up, I think you’re going to have an entire week of absolutely nothing.

DH was on fire this reset, and it wasn’t just turnout. At one point I think [PD], [FG], [jade], and [Abys] were all coordinating defense and offense in the same BL. Good stuff, but I guess glicko gave us a bit of an overkill reset this time around. We did end up disbanded fairly early to dolyak tonics and dungeons and the pvp arena for my guild’s end though.

But I was pretty wowed by IOJ’s zerg when they took back bay. Is [CORE] new or just bigger? Don’t remember seeing as many of you guys as before.

Also hello Fergs! I’ll be doing a lot of roaming this week, glad to fight some new faces and get to know your guilds.

He’s going to be hard pressed to find upscales and staff eles to kill without running into [Splt], [XOXO], [,tM], [SPCA], [KoM], [PAXA], or any of the numerous roamers that inhabit the lower tiers interfering with that live stream of ~win.

Oh man, heck of a day in the motherland. We went from defending Bay from BP and YB zergs, at the same time (and while one of them also hit Hills) in the evening, to beating back successive golem rushes from both servers in the night.

In the end though we could not take either keep, largely due to BP and Yaks spending more time fighting each other in DH Borderlands then DH.

Umm. No. You couldn’t take any of our keeps despite throwing, what… 50 golems at them over the course of the night, megazergballs, because of Darkhaven, not because of Yak’s Bend. Yak’s was over on our east side trying to golem rush half the time anyways, splitting our forces.
Do you still think the rank we have going into this matchup is somehow still relevant? If so you have not been paying attention the last couple nights.

Tonight defending bay was probably the highlight of the week for me, absolute craziness. BP, you guys kept coming, and on the other side of the map, YB with golems at hills, which was eventually taken. Kept BP from Bay though. Back and forth between the two was hectic but a lot of fun.
Nice job tonight DH. I think we are exceeding everyone’s expectations atm, including glicko’s.

Having a ton of fun this weekend, this is a surprisingly good matchup for us. We get to stretch out of our comfort zone and try new things, and also get to fight new faces. The week will be a different animal I’m sure, but keep up the good fight. Also, nice to see you again, Borlis. Looking mighty fine.

The moment you enter that map you forfeit any right to complain about double teaming or having to deal with 2 servers. Yes, having to juggle offense and defense from two opposing sides is the point.

The point is that IoJ expected NSP to take part in some combined effort against DH. Even though NSP is focusing DH, we’re not going to leave IoJ alone. So IoJ complains when we attack them, even though it’s WvWvW, not 2WvW. They then get so kitten ed off that they decide to declare an all-out bloodbath against NSP, and coordinate with DH to smash NSP into the ground even more.

That’s silly, is it not?

P.S. That doesn’t apply to all IoJ players, I know. :P

HAY [RH] U SHUD XFER TO DH NOW, KAY. We swear by our pretty little bonnets to avenge you and march our golem armies to raze Sororita’s land to the ground.

Honestly in a system as moronic and unbalanced as the one we were handed, we’re pretty lucky to get relatively balanced matchups. I get IOJ’s morale issues, when we first started playing you in the words of the fine gentleman Hijaxx, you “lifted your skirts for AR” and were nowhere to be found. That’s certainly not the case anymore. Hell, NSP probably remembers waving at us as we passed them by on our way down to T7 in January. Morale is a slippery slope, one that every server in the bottom half has ridden down. In time people replace the ones that left, enough youtube videos of ~superior!T1 tactics~ get shared, and one day we look in the mirror and realize we’re a completely different server than the one from 3… 6… 8 months ago. So have some fun and keep stabbing and arrow carting each other to death. <3

Well I can say that I’m sure glad sorrows furnace is gone. After we peed in their Cheerios that first week they lost their gusto .

I wish we could fight AR and BP again ..those are the only servers we have faced that I feel out played us. But with this new system for matching it seems tiers and colors don’t matter anymore…so who knows where we will end up.

Anyhow,just wanted to say that the small scale stuff has been pretty fun lately.its been great practice for what’s to come.
