The thing is, without any proof, we don’t know if he abused the system or not. He might also just have had a lucky win streak, got a top placement, and didn’t had any new targets to go for.
What happened to the presumption of innocence / innocent until proven guilty?
Maybe ArenaNet has more information on that, they are not sharing with us, other we unfortunately can not prove anything. I think most guys who participated in SoloQ did this in a legit way, and earned their way to the top.

People claiming getting to the top in legit ways make me lol irl.I mean how naive can you be to not know that if your team wins you can just keep queing because you will always be paired with the same exact players until one of them would just quit.Riding win streaks of even 10 matches in a row and simply quit the 1st match you lose.10/1 ratio, and the real legit players would just lose those 10 in a row and taking it.Thats what the system was and seriously it takes a lot of nerv to claim being a top player and being recognized for it with a title.

Lux, exploiers should be permanently banned not rewarded with a longer kitten.People were banned for far less at launch and many of those players didn’t even knew they were exploiting, while que syncing and even rank skyhammer farming are far worse.Anet should wake up and decide wich way they wanna go already.People got banned at launch for making what ? Maybe10 gold? When in pvp the only valuable thing is rank and title a rank 60 could easily be the counterpart of pve’s legendary items only a lot harder to achieve, and these exploiters get away with it really easy and worst of all in the face of dedicated and legitimate players.Way to go only thinking about this causes me to completely lose faith.

I can confirm this 1oo percent.Bulls charge is slowly turning into rush, only good for running away lately.I took my pve build for a spin in wvw the other day and 7 times out if 10 it failed miserably.Was mostly passing throught the target and ending in a 300 or so radius fron it making it impossible to land an attack such as 100 blades.Most of the time 100b finishes straight into the air.
Another gamebreaking bug wich i am really tired of is the dodge/move trought the immobilize.When i start flurry the target can dodge ending up a few feet away but still immobilized while i am stuck in the animation and completely missing all the hits into the air.Andrenaline gone for nothing.
Anither big bug is when I use flurry on someone and switch to greatsword to 100blades my character freezes for 2 or 3 seconds making any use of the immobilize really useless.
These bugs persist and the devs are pushing us(they actually said it quite clearly in the open) to use these full of bugs weapons and create our dps builds arround them but how are we to do anything with huge bugs like these on our MAIN UTILITIES, CLASS MECHANIC (burst skills), AND WEAPON SKILLS? I repeat these are not afecting minor or situational traits but MAIN utilities and skills our class is designed to*RELY* on.How are we supposed to rely and be viable in pvp with skills that have over 50% chance of failing?

You have 73 games in total, all in solo queue and are not even ranked in team queue, I don’t think you really have the ability to be stating things like you are when you don’t even play the PvP yourself.
I only play hotjoin because the system is broken(Duh!).73 matches is enough to understand that you are paired in 4v5s and against ranks 40-50-60-40-40 vs ranks 5-10-30-10-5 and the system is faulty.Tons of people can confirm this.Arenanet already OFFICIALLY stated that the boards and matchmaking are broken.If that is not enough for you as proof paired with the countless threads asking for fixes then i don’t know what to say more.

Leader board is broken and exploitable to ridiculous levels.No one should be rewarded since IT IS BROKEN and every partecipant benefited or droped in ranks where they should not be because of this issue.

Seriously something needs to be done about it. Nothing annoys me more than losing a fully upgraded tower cus a blob showed up and put down 3 or more superior rams and down the gate and cap tower in a minute or so. Now with ram mastery its just kittened how fast even a reinforced gate drops. Maybe the other superior siege can stay but the superior rams got to go or get there dps dropped a lot.
You do remember arrow carts got buffed by like 150% just for you to sit on one and kill those rams right ?
And after reading your post history it seems like you’re so upset about Hambow getting nerfed that you’re gonna have an aneurysm.
Of course, that’s okay you’ll just copy and paste the new meta build that someone spells out for you

GS/LB is a great weapon set and can be built in a variety of ways. Good Warriors will know that. The mobility, AoE, Immob potential with Leg Specialist, 100B for cleave and to take advantage of immobs…
It seems you don’t know much about Warrior.
Aaaaaaand another pro that can kill a mesmer/thief with 100 blades.Didn’t realize this game is full of pros especially when i log into the mists.
PLEASE, ANET—I and other Mesmers BEG you to do something with these two skills. At the very least, share your thoughts with us on this, because I think most Mesmer players see these as the two biggest problems with Mesmers.
There are hundreds of dead skills in this game and that is just the tip of the iceburg of GW2’s issues.
If you ever want to complain about misc weapons, go look at ele offhands, I mean the one no one uses.
Ever.If it mattered (or if you think this does), focus on improving what already exists. When that is in a great state, work on expanding it to other setups.

405 + 360/3 + ~1800 × 2 Heal from Shouts every 20s = 715 hps with my build.
The idea is you can easily reach that level with the help fo HS.
Passive regen from the Signet is still the most of it.Yeah, you’d just 1vs10 HS wars today and still won, I know. That does prove HS is not OP at all, for sure.

Sure it’s fun to play, at start, when you kill pepole. But as I realized some professions simply can’t dish out as much damage to pass my regen, the 1vs1 fights don’t seem fair to me anymore.I’m not asking to nerf the warrior without other solutions, but this one is too easy to build / achieve, I think. Some regen on skill activation, for example, would be better than this.
Whar does healing signet have to do with your 700hps.Hs is 400 End of story .You could still keep the other 300hps even if you equip another heal and you need to trade almost everyrhing thing to spec a cheesyy healing power regen bunk with the new change to UF.
I just 1v2 two of these warriors today in wvw, me alone, so your argument that classes don’t have enough dps it’s just false.Not my problem they choose to use bunky with crappy dps builds.

It’s worth noting that Tyler Chapman and I have tested a few variations of Hambow internally and it still does good damage. Like…really good. I think the main implication of the changes in PvP is that you won’t be able to run defensive runesets like Lyssa and do the same amount of damage as you did before – you’ll need to run offensive sets.
Did you guys tested the other classes damage internally while running defensive specs ?My money is on * NO* because you would have realized how badly these nerfs are going to affect warriors while other classes can still outdamage a warrior by going full bunker because of sustained and better application of their damage than warriors get.

As long as Warrior has its stability utilities, zerk stance, dogged march and cleansing ire it’ll never be a “freekill”. None of which from that list I think need nerfing particularly. Kiting mobility coupled with passive regen promotes a cheesy run and peck playstyle that doesn’t really punish an overextended Warrior.
Learn to warrior if your playstile it’s run and peck.Warriors were supposed to be a strong frontline class not squishy ao be forced to run every 5 seconds to regain health.Warriors don’t have to run outside of a fight to survive what does that tell you about how good warrior’s survavibility is ?

Wanna know how terrible most whiners are ? Last night i was kiting a hammer warrior in circles while dpsing down a ranger.I had no stunbreaks equiped at all,no endure pain,no stability and no uf/lame traits.The warrior never landed one stun on me hence his dps was terribleI just kept blocking and dodging his every stun.The rangers pet was by far the highest threat if i were to compare the two.
Baddies will always soak the forums in their tears instead of improving.They keep blocking and dodging when not getting hit,using conditions in spam mode with no strategy at all and most importantly they never try to read the enemie’s moves or buffs.When they die they go “Omg my 123456789804524234 condi spam or 22223332222 spam didn’t work omg the warrior it’s so op Anet nerf!!!!!”

Hundreed blades wins in pve scenario because targets are still and it’s more spammable because of shorter cd than guardian’s.
In pvp guardian’s greatsword is better in all points.Mobile damage,Buffs aoe retaliation(more damage),symbol of wrath hits like a truck(a lot more than warrior’s longbow combustive shot lvl 3just to make a comparison),Dot or aoe pull at nr 5,reliable leap plus blind also damage is good.Warrior gs looses hands down except a little more spammable.
Does any warrior use Mobile strikes? Mainly in pvp? it’s a good trait in the discipline line among other good traits too, so it’s kind of a risk…
And what about Sweet Revenge? There’s a few times where it actually comes in handy, but there are those times when you get vengeance off and you end up downing your enemy, thinking “why didn’t I trait sweet revenge?” also, though it’s not in the discipline line, has anyone ever used Vigorous Return? there’s other traits that are more useful than it, but if you rally, 25% more health is a decent amount of hp given the more you have and you regain all your endurance.
Am i reading that trait right? :/ do you gain 25% more health and have twice as much endurance when you rally? or do you just get your endurance refilled? the description is just a little confusing… but yeah
Who cares.All these traits are wack for any kind of situation.Usually of you get rallied means the danger it’s over,that you have team support or one of your enemies died,hence you are in advantage.And rally already gives you too much hp to begin with making it impossible to continue a fight in a 1v2 scenario,more than enough to put you right back in the fight in a team skirmish or completely reset it in a 2v2.
Now you imagine a 1v1 fight, where you cant just keep your attention on 1 character.
He doesn’t have to imagine anything.If he doesn’t know that by fact already than pvp it’s not his forte and this discussion it’s pointless.
Only the target being removed gimmick ALONE counts more than any of warriors defensive skills comparing how much dps you can avoid by doing it and for how long and freqvency.
Combustive Shot – Increased pulse duration to 3s. Increased burn duration per pulse to 3s. Normalized damage per pulse. Updated pulses per tier to 2, 3,and 4 respectively for tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3. Overall physical damage has been reduced by 15%.

15% it’s a LIE it might as well be a 50% nerf since no one will ever get hit by 2 ticks anymore while before was getting hit by 2 ticks the 1st one and the second.If a target was fully Pindowned was eating a 3 ticks(1st insta and respectively at 2 and 4 seconds) now it will eat at max 2(1st and at 3 seconds) making it a 33% damage nerf.
What is up with Anet’s pve logic in pvp.Players are not npcs that stand arround for 10 seconds in the affected area And even if it were it is still a lie since 4 ticks out of 5 it’s not 15% but 20%.Basic math.
Combustive shot power dps needed a boost not a nerf and it already needed faster ticks or more raw damageAll the complaints in spvp were all about the burning too not one about the already laughable power damage.
So what it was an andrenaline builder at the expense of sitting ducks.Warrior was supposed to gain andrenaline in other ways except getting hit in the face. Oh wait that must be because “Warriors (key word)→by nature have a lot of survivability" Loooooooool.

Firstly, its a L2P issue. Try timing your imobilise skills (Pin down and Flurry) with your AoE pulse skills from your LB, its not hard.
Bit if you cant manage to push a few buttons in the correct order then well sir, there is no hope for you.

I normally dont post in forum with regards to updates but just read them. I personally felt this nerf gone way too far. I am actually okay with the hammer nerf in terms of damage as I understand that it is OP when I use it myself. What I could not accept is why is mace getting nerf and with regards to all these nerf there isn’t any additional buffs to other areas to open more options for build. I fought several classes 1v1 and I don’t think I am a real bad player but is having a lot of trouble to kill them , like for example for mesmer that illusion, evade and stealth rotation is totally lame and its not getting nerf, you can barely land a burst on them and when u finally stun them they teleport away, meanwhile you are suffering from tons of conditions which means you are pretty much dead unless you run. I think the dev team is too focused on nerfing OP areas due to QQers but neglected the fun of the class itself whereby so many weapon is left unused like rifle, axe and GS(Seriously you expect us to hit stuff with it when 3 out of the 5 skill always fail due to lag). Please give us buff in other areas like u did with guardian when you nerf us.
And the only weapon that was kind of viable againts mesmers is getting a huge nerf besides all that.Yes i am talking about bow.Bow/mace is the most nerfed build in this patch even more than hammer/x since mace lacks mobility and without the strong aoe you wouldnt even be able to kill the clones,besides no cripple/weakness and aoe stun/damage/mobility a hammer still has over mace.I am strongly considering to move on if the patch will prove too kitten fun builds.No go for booring fotm dire or pvt for me.
Who brings a mace to a zerg fight?It’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight only instead of guns they use bazookas.Skullcrack is single target and counterblow it’s wack in a zerg fight.Also no stability? How are you planning to cc your enemies if you are stunlocked yourself ?
I already HATE the slow “pulse” speed of combustive shot. Once every 2 seconds is sorta slow. Now they want to change it to every 3 seconds?!
Alternatively, Rangers Barrage skill hits once every 0.6 seconds!
Please, Please, Please, speed UP the pulse to 1.5 or 1 second. DONT slow it down even more from 2 to 3!
I’m not even talking about increasing the DPS, that can be normalized and spread across the faster pulses.
Incidentally, ANet’s argument for slowing the pulses down is not the damage (stated to be normalised to the new pulse rate anyways, and the total burning duration is actually increased)
ANet’s argument is that the current pulse rate generates additional adrenaline too quickly, hence lowering the number of hits.
The new form has 2 seconds higher base burning duration total and the fire field will last 1 second longer at full adrenaline. Assuming the normalisation goes properly, it’s a buff to everything except the adrenaline gain rate.
You are assuming that the enemy players will stand in the fire field for the entire duration. And that will not happen. If the concern is that the current pulse rate generates too much adrenaline, then put a cap on the adrenaline gains. Make it so that instead of it calculating how many enemies it hits to add adrenaline, just be that if a pulse hits at least 1 enemy, generate 1 adrenaline. So 1 Combustive Shot pulse can only generate 1 adrenaline (provided it hits something). This way you solve the adrenaline generating problem and don’t weaken the skill heavily.
The skill has already been weakened by having the radius at adrenaline levels 1 and 2 smaller, making it that much more difficult to use. Please try cutting the adrenaline gain per pulse, rather than increasing its time between pulse rate or total duration.I’ll bring out the entire quote here.

A lot of thought went into the change to combustive shot. This skill was simply too effective at renewing itself. One of the drawbacks of the burst skills needs to be losing your adrenaline, but this skill was easily able to restore all of the adrenaline it lost. Rather than reduce the burn duration we reduced the # of attacks this skill creates because we felt it made it more counterable in PvP and less reliable in PvE as an adrenaline builderThe adrenaline issue is directed at PvE. However, also note that the lower hit rate is intended to make it easier to avoid in PvP as well.
The PvE adrenaline reduction is being counterbalanced by the added burning duration; WvW isn’t really affected because it’s likely still going to hit people in zerg v zerg. PvP is the most harshly affected, but that’s exactly what’s intended.

DAMAGE nerf is not needed.Look at guardian symbols they tick once per second with more damage while also aplying buffs.Very good for aplying burst dps.Combustive shot already was 2 times slower and damage was already to low now they will nerf it even more.Bow f1 power dps if not else NEEDS A BOOST instead they just go on by nerfing 33% and respectively 20%its base for nothing while making it extremely easy to avoid .I mean lol 3 seconds to get out before the 2nd tick isn’t that too much? In 3 whole seconds a thief can end up most fights in pvp anmd the damage was already laughably low.
