Path F/U is being removed?Really?If it’s true i’m not happy at all.
Why a whole path is being removed when only the last boss is buggy?The path as whole is good.Not too hard not to easy.
If Anet just made last boss to reset on a wipe and the path will be fixed.No more endless spider waves spawning.

Not really.I have payed 0 RL currency to receive gems.I always farm in game gold and buy with it gems.
For 2500 hours played i didn’t feel the need to buy games with RL money.For the same amount of time if i still was playing WoW i would have payed for my gaming time every time for an year.
And not only i would have to pay every month but if i wanted to transfer characters or name change,race change and other things that are sold in their shop i would have to pay with RL cash.
In GW2 i have a choice – to buy or not to buy with what ever currency i want.Is it in game gold or RL money.In other MMOs i don’t have such choice.
All in all i’m happy what GW2 delivered and gave me.
Yes GW2 spoiled me.I don’t think i can go back to WoW even if i wanted to.
No holy trinity is great for me.Before i was a dedicated healer and now i’m fine with what GW2 offers me.
Also no maintance,instant patches,No waiting in queue to enter the home server or when i’m in instance and patch pop-ups I’m not being kicked from the game for 3 hours?What more can i ask for??

The boss is not hard if people actually know what to do BUT i can agree that bosses should reset on a wipe.
Evey MMO i can think of that i played has a reset on the bosses only GW2 doesn’t…
Is the LS,PS and the Open world tabs server bound?
I mean the other search options like sPvP and dungeon finder are cross realm,Are the living story,personal story and open world tabs too cross server connected or are realm bound?
I never see any lvl80 joining when I say lvl35 thief LFM.
So I take all the people anti elitist are hypocrite, dont’ even do dungeon or want to get carry.
Fill free to join low level group with half of the people never done a dungeon before, a few of them will leave if you wipe a few times, not to mention they probably don’t even know where the dungeon entrance is so you need to wait 10 minutes just so they can get there.
Because blatanly even the low level people dont’ want to group with low level people. So if you start a low level group, only people never done a dungeon before will join and quit midway through.
I don’t mind taking low levels with me and boosting them as long they carry themselves,support the group and don’t slack.
No one asks for exclusion tools to be implemented into the LFG. What people want is some help in finding like-minded dungeon runners and avoiding those with different approaches. It hurts no one, benefits everyone.

So if i make a group – and 3 people who don’t fit my criteria join, I’m supposed to leave now?

Because you are unable to politely ask them to leave, and don’t have enough friends, apparently!
I mean, if it’s the other way around, what am I supposed to do – say I start a group for Path X of Dungeon Y, and say in the description that it is not a speedrun and I want to view the cinematics and so on, and I get three full Zerker speedrun types who yell GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO the whole time and cry rivers about me not skipping the cinematics (and or manage to cause problems because of that), what am I supposed to do?
All you can do, if you don’t have the majority, is ask politely. That’s life. Usually it works, if you are actually polite.
He doesn’t have to ask them to leave at all.That is why the vote to kick system is in place
No the new LFG is not making the dungeons worse.I have decent parties when people actually read what is written in the post and don’t just join on a whim.
But normally i pug only 1 or two randoms.I never make a full random pug.
Sometimes i may not even take strangers.My guild and friends are very active.
I don’t think gold is needed in fractals.
Normal dungeons give a lot of gold and almost none karma
FotM gives a lot of karma and 0 gold.
For me the balance is more than enough

The current categories could have numbers indicating how many advertisements are currently active. Right now we have to click on each dungeon to see if there are any parties
Been able to see listings even when in a full party .Don’t make them grey out.
Been able to see listings on a lower level alt
Give the option to reveal all of the LFG listings in one tab

Actually i have no idea what will be the best classes for pugs but here is what i usually run with:
1.Warrior
2.Guardian
3.Mesmer
4.Thief
5.Ele or Necro
Haven’t bothered to use it for a couple of reasons:
Dungeons were content I was interested in 8-10 months ago.

Every MMO needs in game LFG system.Everything that is outside of the game will never be as used as the one that is build in the actual game.
gw2lfg.com is useful and will be useful to some time.When more people receive access to the new LFG tool,i don’t see a reason why would they even want to use gw2lfg.com.
I do agree that a filter by achievement level would be too heavy handed. However I think grouping options similar to those on the website would be helpful to all players.

The ’’Teqila’’ is a good boss there is no doubt about that.There is only one mistake with it.It either needs a lvl80 cap so he doesn’t scale up or to be put in a instance where the enviroment is perfectly controlled.
This fight needs good organising which can not happen in the open world.There is to much randomness thrown.
I have almost five.At some point i had only one but then i got bored so i decided lets try something new and more challenging.
So i started leveling 4 characters simultaneously and now i have 4 characters sitting at 71lvl.
It’s good that dungeons are time gated.Before the Gold change i was farming only CoF P1 and TA path Up.
Now i’m actually doing many more dungeons:CoF,TA,CoE,AC,SE,Arah.Yes my guild is a bit speed runner but none the less we still need a lot of time to finish all those dungeons with all their paths.For casuals may seem hard but that actually revived my guild a lot.
Once i do all the paths and receive the daily reward i can do more easy paths only for the 26 silver.
But the group with the “elitists” won’t accept them. They’ll just get booted. I joined an Arah group a couple days ago advertising 4k AP minimum (im like 3960 so I thought screw it why not) and then some guy with like 1.5k AP comes in. Obviously he was booted.
Again, if you have groups saying something like “lf 3m zerkers” and some randoms come along, they’ll either get booted, the group will disband or the randoms will boot the party creator which is just griefing. Make it possible to set some standards and this won’t happen, not everybody wants to play with “play how you want” bads running cleric gear, and those bads don’t want to run with players using good builds.
So they get kicked eventually they will learn to read the advertisement. This system is similar how it worked in Guild Wars 1. It worked well there it will work well here too.

It is NOT elitist behaviour to ask for a specific class if it is that what you need.
For instance the group is doing TA F/U and needs only 1 guard as 5th member.Of course every other class that joins will be kicked.
Or the group needs specifically an ele for AC as last spot and it was perfectly said in the post.I repeat it’s common sense that every other class joining will be replaced.
Or the group is doing FotM lvl38 and wants you to have 40AR minimum.

What is the difference between automated LFG system and a LFG tool where you can write a post but noone will read it and just join?Because from everything that i read so far i can to this conclusion:
1.People don’t or can’t read the post
2.People join and don’t know where are they doing.(It happened to me twice)
There is no difference will a person be kicked before the dungeon is even opened or if using an automated LFG you kick him when the whole group is inside.
With the automated LFG tool i at least don’t expect from people a lot.
But when the LFG is manually used to form groups i expect from them at least to bloody read the post.
Otherwise there is 0 difference between the two systems if people just join randomly on a whim.

2nd to do what is wanted from the poster

It’s actually quite simple.
Follow the bloody text.
1st, you can kick people that really did join an irrelevant group (like joining the wrong dungeon or something).
2nd, a lot of content is designed for a very broad range of skill and gear, so it’s not right to add a restriction to the tool itself. You may want someone with 45 AR, but what if the content can be handled with 30, just with some additional challenge?
Do you have the right to only accept people with 45AR? Yes.
Do you have the right to have a tool that lets you exclude anyone under 45AR? kitten no.
The tool, as explained by devs, lets you find people who can complete a dungeon. That means, as interpreted by me, that nobody under level 30 can join AC. People in white gear with 0 achievement points can still complete it when they hit level 30, so it wouldn’t make sense to exclude them.
The tool doesn’t let you enforce arbitrary standards that let you make faster runs to the detriment of the community. Note the “detriment” part.
You are braging again about something.The tool lets me find people yes but that is big BUT.When i wrrite in the post what i want people should read it and do what it says.If they meet the requirements someone has set then they can join if the player thinks he doesn’t meet those requirements then he shouldn’t join.
For instance in FotM i may need only a guardian as last spot and i have perfectly said it it the post IF some other class joins of course it will be kicked.What would he expect?The post is very clear.
The same goes for the other dungeons.If i need glass canon then such should join.What ever the post says people MUST always read 1st then join.
If i write LFM or GLF2M… or something similar then everyone is welcome in my group.But if a newbie joins he should tell so we can explain him what to do.I hate pointless wipes.

I have one story for you. The whole party wiped at Jade Maw, except one person with one crystal. Then the whole party was revived repeatedly until more crystals were farmed and it was defeated.
Your elitist groups would simply disband at the horrific inefficiency of all that. Our group faced the challenge and prevailed. That’s what made it all the more enjoyable.

I have 2 stories for you.
Yesterday i was leading CoE.I was with one friend and 3 randoms.When we were in the room with the exploding robots i specifically said we are doing 1-4 pressing strategy.What happened?only 2 people pressed.And we had to clear the whole room and for that we did bloody 5 wipes.
When we went to the boss with the ice debuff at that place i finally understand we have a newbie with us.
Look now,i don’t have anything against new players as long i know they are in my group so i can explain to them what to do,where to stand,what is the tacktick and so on…
I prefer to explain for 2 minutes rather than wipe again and agin on easy things…
Now the 2nd story
Yesterday i was in a guild run also for TA all paths,but one of the members couldn’t stay to the end so we were with 1 less for F/U.I specifically wrote in the post ‘’GLF1M brezerker for path F/U’‘.And what did i received?First one who joined has never done before TA and was with 66AP.He couldn’t be more newbie.Second one who joined was a guard who didn’t even know what we were doing until we went to the bloody path.
Come on WTF is this?!?!?I wrote everything in my post.Read then join.Don’t do the opposite…
People should start reading what is written so i can take a break from kicking them.Only because a post is made this doesn’t mean everyone is invited in the bloody group.There are specific requirements i set in my post which has to be preserved.People should stop joining on a whim every LFG post that is up.
