The expansion for FFXIV is $40 not 50$ and its 60$ if you wanna buy the entire game. Why do we not have that option if we already have the game?

There is only one MMO that can and does drain its player base of money and that is WOW I do not know why people put up with it. The rest of MMO’s on the other hand if they tried that well they suffered a lot and went free to play. If Arena net tries to do what WOW did they will go the way of every other MMO that is not the exception.
Do not copy WOW in prices or anything because that is business practice you can do.
Also SWOTOR latest expansion was 20 dollars.

Sorry but i disagree with you.Anet is at a good spot at this moment.Compared to the other F2P MMOs i really like what Anet is releasing as content and features for free this past 3 years(nothing that the game is B2P).There are 2 categories of MMOs and GW2 is of the 2nd one:

• SWTOR/Tera/ESO/Archage are failed MMOs.I don’t consider F2P MMO to be a decent one.They suffer a lot from their cash shop.
• Rift and WS are the only 2 exceptions of the rule.I also admire how FFXIV was able to turn the tide and from a failed F2P game to become a fine P2P one.GW2 is from this category.

If it is part only of the Ultimate edition and is part of the pre-purchase then yes.After the pre-orders end and the game is already release the bonus LS that was offered for pre-purchasing the game is removed.
What i’m saying is to make the offer for the LS just like the charecter slot.If you pre-order you have it.If you don’t you won’t.

Yep i will say it.There is right and wrong way.The right way is always the one that lets you do many thing for as little time as possible.There may be many viable builds but only a few are meta builds.You may say what ever you want but you can not argue with math and theoricrafting.Some builds are just better and that’s that.

Even if you play well. You will probably do less damage than that level 80 in rare who is dead half the time.

Not only that.I would not take an 80 with me that has less than 1KAP.He/she neither knows their class nor the dungeon.Veterans with new accounts are the exception ofcourse.But they are so rare.

I personally never played my alts in the dungeons while i was leveling.It is a waste of time for the group.I only switched when last boss was at 50% HP.We anyway receive the whole EXP in the end.

If you have played more than 50 hours then i doubt you will receive any refund.You got your money’s worth

With the guild chat change and influence change there are two good things comming.

• I won’t be kicked from a guild only because i’m not representing it 100% of the time.That comes from the removal of influence.
• 5 guild chats are actually good thing.For instance i’m in 4 guilds currently(WvW/dungeon/World bosses/personal bank).If i want to talk with each one i have to click represent…Anet just skips this step and make my life easier.There is nothing wrong with that lol.

I think the bigger misstep in marketing was the lack of character slot. It’s basically a neon sign saying “We’re really greedy and will squeeze you for every penny we can!”

This is quite laughable. I love the amount of people who think they’re entitled to free stuff just because they’re veterans . The only greedy people here are people asking for free stuff. You’re still paying the price for the expansion as everyone else. If you own the core game already since launch, GREAT! You can also buy WoW tokens now to pay for your subscription, much like grinding for gold to get gems in GW2.

I perfectly understand how the token gold conversation is working.I know what you are talking about.What i’m implying at is that someone has to buy 1st the token with real cash and only then it can be sold for in game gold.The token can’t be bought from Blizzard store for in game gold.It can be bought only for real cast.The token can be bought with in game currency only from the in game actioun house.And currently the token is more expensive from the subscription

I think that PvP and PvE DoT definitelly will be split.You just can’t balance the 2 modes the same way.

Anet have to add something that had to be inside from the start.When i double click on my rings or earings all 4 of them have to be switch.Right now when i double click 2 rings for instance they go in the same slot which is kittened.Why can’t rings and earing be like the weapons?MH and OH?How hard is that to make?

I really don’t understand how can someone call buying new expansion a P2W game.That sounds so absurd that i just can’t believe my eyes.Expansions are everything else but not a P2W games.It’s like saying that B2P or P2P models are P2W games….Hell no!They are just different business models from the F2P one.

More often F2P games are those that are P2W.Here is the definition of P2W – Games that let you buy better gear or allow you to make better items (from game shop only) than everyone else at a faster rate and then makes the game largely unbalanced even for people who have skill in the game without paying.

Expansions never ever were/are/will be included in that definition.They are extensions to the mane game that deliver many new feautures and content.
If the OP’s definition of a B2P expansion is P2W i have no idea what will he say for P2P games like WoW gosh.He clearly doesn’t make difference between the 3 models(F2P,B2P,P2P) and P2W.

I’m having issues with inventory space.I have already unlocked 8 slots but that is not enough.When i do Speed clear dungeons or farming in Orr/SW/DT/Eotm i don’t want constantly to sell at TP.I already salvage more than enough thanks.I don’t mind going to a vendor eveyr 3 hours but more often than that is just pain in the kitten .Anet has to do a few things to improve the bag space:

1. Increase the current bag’s space to 25-30 slots.
2. Increase the Bag slots from 8 to 12.
3. Improve how you sort things in bags.Items to go into their specific bag without worrying where that bag will stay up in the top or down in the bottom slot.
4. Combine exotic and ascended bags.When i change weapon i don’t want my ascended one to go in a blue one.It has to go exactly into exotic/ascended bag NOT somewhere else.

Why GW2 doesn’t have put in game callender like other MMOs?Anet should consider adding one.

I returned from a 2 year break a month or so back.

All they added was fractals, dry top, and silverwastes. Other then that not much. But I’m trying to set goals before HoT comes out. So really just doing the living story which luckily I logged in just to get those even though I wasn’t playing. Well missed all of season 1 though lol.

Can someone explain me how exactly does black lion weapons work the skins.In Trading Post if i make an order for chaos axe skin for 100 gold and get it i recieve the skin.Can i then sell it back to trading post someone byus it for lets say 135 gold and i get the skin and profit without losing anything.Or it only works for a ticket when you buy it you get the skin and you can sell it.

If a path is soloed/duoed/thrioed i don’t mind it being it sold.If a path is stolen by kicking and then sold that deserves a ban.

You have a LFG tool.The problem is that people decide not to use it unlike the dungeon community.What Anet have to do is to add some kind of carrot on a stick.For instance if you find a party through the LFG tool then you will receive some kind of item…

People use the rest of the LFG tabs like Personal story/Open world/dungeons because they give you something in return which PvP currently lacks.For instance in Open world tab you can easily find SW farming maps/Orr temples and many other usefull things.Even the story tab is more used than the PvP one.I won’t talk about dungeons as it’s a common sence that everyone would like to do them in a party of 5.

PvP lfg tab at its current state doesn’t bring anything more at the table that you can’t get from the Mysts chat.There must be some incentive to use the tab and there is none for now.

The two most under used tabs are WvW and PvP.If there was an OS(obsidian sanctum) window it would used even more frequently than those two.
