OW yeah, it doesnt only gives you a blurry map without much details.. allot of MAP details are also gone like some mountains or towns are just GONE the moment you zoom a little bit more out on the map getting atleast SOME overview.

when you zoom out it all gets annoying blurry.
only when you zoom in its getting detailed but i think this is waaay to much overrated.. with resolutions of today i have to zoom in my map making HUGE objects with little map OVERVIEW to see some detail.

1 Autoattack:
*yeah Anet will never bring back the bleeding ofc.. but since the bleeding got removed it does crap dmg! before you could even benefit from the +10% dmg trait on bleeding targets.. and this traitline is great for rifle!
But when you dont bring back its bleeding it should have a flat +10% more dmg

2 Aimed shot:
*Besides its cripple give it +8 vulnerability (so Autoattack can benefit ofc) making this skill a combination of Aimed shot + brutal shot

3 Volley:
*its OK

4 Brutal shot:
*This skill is now a ranged knockback on 1200 range (knockback launch = 450 ) (no benefit from range like rangers point blank shot)

5 Riffle But:
*Make it so you can block for 3 sec with your rifle if you get hit in melee range you counterattack > daze your target for 1 sec

-Bull’s Charge:
*Its an “OK” utility if it hits and not overshooting, but maby increase its dmg by 50%.. it should do some good dmg. its an BULLS CHARGE! :-)

-Kick:
*Make it a 2sec knockdown! this utility is so weak right now and it could be a great skill in melee use.
*+ 2sec Weakness (-2sec knockdown =2 sec weakness left, so when your kick ends you dont get kittened right after)

-Bolas:
*Give it a 4sec weakness also! this skill is all about locking someone down most in melee to setup your burst. but meanwhile you get hit also making this utility very weak because it does less compared to most immob weapon skills! and this is a UTILITY skill! giving it a 4sec weakness would be good.

-Stomp
*its an good skill but for its long cooldown it should also remove immob/cripple and chill making it a real usefull get out of my face skill. (or atleast cripple )

*Increase its castime/speed up its animation

*fine

*Increase its projectile speed by 50%

5 Rush:
*Yeah its semi “ok” now.. still it miss but whatever.

F1 Arcing Slice:
-Increase range to 200

Only hammer hits 5, and hammer is a projectile and not a cleaving melee attack. So that’s perfectly normal, as piercing projectiles typically hit 5 targets.

Mace AA (which is melee cleave) still hits 3, other than the potential 3rd hit of the chain hitting more if you line them up.

So are hammer skills default piercing projectiles or is it a trait?

If its default it issnt “OK”

And even mace have 2 skills with 5 target skillfact

But look at its utility skills also.. allot of 5 target skills..

Dunno but i think revenant gets just too much and to much fancy new stuff while other classes left behind

Ele have WAAAAY to much sustain with the amount of burst they have
(ow but its very easy to dodge it!! yeah dodge 10000x bursts skills.. soon or later your out of evade and when that happens you get kittened, ow yeah dont think you kill them before that because they heal like crazy)

And Engi for its insane spam/CC/AI shave some of it.. they deliver to much pressure.

Warriors dont have many ways to create some time for healing moments, thats why i love HS.

If you dont like its passive then use healing surge.
Becausr that healing skill does better vs poison classes.

This seems just another nerf topic to me, just stop it.

Are you high? warrior will never get any quality of life changes.
because they are designed to have slow, telegraphed, predictable, chunky skills that are bugged most of the time.

Instant casting, long range burst and teleportation and weapon set with similar skills but better only belong to other classes.

Man, you have no right to ask for this. how unthoughtful you are!

First, I’d like to see where “anet admitted they nerfed warr because the many qq posts.”

Second, you are well within your rights to post these things, but that’s all you’re known for. People won’t take you seriously until you take a step back and really consider the options you have and the implications of changes before posting.

25 Bloodlust stacks, full Guard Leech stacks, Borderland’s Bloodlust, Sharpening Stone, food. Yeah, I can see a 5k hit when you’re below 50%. Especially if it followed a vulnerability burst.

But then again, when you add all of that in, why does any huge hit surprise you?

i know but it makes me sick that people keep qq about warriors where warrior are kitten easy to kill vs every other class (most of them condi build) yeah yeah its about team play.. Well i like duelling more.

about life blast: well on wiki and when building it in gw2skills i get around 1400 dmg with bloodlusy stacks and full zerkers. Even when counting in the 20% more dmg i just cant reach that high. Not vs 3k armor.. But not sure how much vuln stacks i had..

But if this is possible and always had been i will leave it. Was just thinking of a bug on a AA skill.

Even with all this i cant recreate it..

Also if i think something issnt correct i can post it here just like the millions qq post warriors get. So dont blame me if most off the people here do that because it does work (since the qq we only received nerfs)

hit someone with several 23k Hundred Blades yesterday night XD

i didn’t expect the first one so i did’nt get a screenshot
but i was ready for the 2nd, unfortunately he vanished so the screenshot looks pretty bad,
i’m not sure if he insta-rezzed, team swapped or left the server,
heres that screeny anyway

You again… Stop posting your 100b dmg..

all you do is build insanely offensive with zero sustain.. Even ALL your utility skills are all and ALL just to land 1 skill.

Now you enter pvp and try to hit that 1 skill on a noob. Where you didnt do anything for 10 hours just trying to land 1 skill..

Made a screenshot and post it on forum looking like you beat everyone with 20+ k dmg..

but what you dont post is that everyone can beat that without any problem and you aint doing kitten for your team. Nobody but noobs will eat your full100b

PvP/WvW Wise:
For good players this attack will now be fairly easy to dodge. There is no further damage increase or anything involved so that might be the only difference. It mainly got stronger against weaker players who do not know yet when they should dodge, en how to time it.
Comparison against 100b:
100b does have a higher cast time, but also significant higher damage. The fact that you have to be in melee range can be pretty much negated in this comparison because warriors have much higher defense by themselves, they are way more sturdy.
With alot of acces to high mobility and stability it should be no problem showing up in the face of a ranger. From close longbows are way more hard to use giving the warrior an adventage.
Final Verdict (My opinion):
Get your stuff together and accept it. It is well balanced. Learn to dodge, and just 100b them down.

there is only 1 big difference:

100b needs a HUGE CC skill to land all the hits.. with most CC skills you will NEVER hit the final big hit.. only when you use a different weapon set…
But now you build is all about landing 1 skill.. good luck.

silly, silly! bolas make everyone target golems!

well you answered yourself now, you need to invest in means to make 100b viable, sPvP is no where like PvE, no one will stand in your melee 100b unless you force them to.

Rapid fire in comparison is light years more effective no need to use an utility for it.

did you look at the screenshot? i already had bolas on the bar.
but regardless, i’m still waiting for you to do 21k damage with your “light years more effective” rapid fire without using any cooldowns, heck, go ahead, use your long cooldowns, use them all!
you’ll never come close to the damage that 100b can do without any cooldowns.

do you even play pvp? rapid fire is 1500 range without needing for a setup..

From looking at the video i see steal hits 100% more compared to Rush or bulls charge :-P

It thinks its all about the kitten sync problems these days.. 1-2 sec laggs..
(after that steal will work again and bulls/rush aint because they are intended like that from day 1.. anet already fixed rush 2 times.. they will never ever burn there hands again on this skill and just pretend it issnt in the game)

GS 10% dmg buff is also 4 points just like 10% sword crit trait.

Both give nothing more..

For GS you even need 2 traits to give more dmg and cooldown reduction (cost you 8 traits!)

And btw Axe mastery is also 4 trait point.


With sword you can have 10% more crit AND 10% more dmg.. just go 5 into arms because sword gives bleeding on AA.. if sword also got ANOTHER 10% dmg buff on trait it would be unbalanced.. because then you have +20% dmg and 10% crit on very fast AA sword..

All you will see is 11111111111111111111111111111 warriors with sword because now sword will do more dmg compared to Axe.

Down state is extremely unbalanced, fix it.

This way you have some time to stomp/kill someone when downed ( 1vs2 situation )

It looks similar to Canthan script as Narcemus said. It is seen on the Cultist Hammer (which Entropy shares skins with, and Genesis is a reskin of) and the seals in Cliffside Fractal. A cleaner image of the symbol can be found in that fractal.

So it’s probably some proto-Canthan symbol. Since it’s relevant, it should be noted that Canthan ideograms work in a manner that one symbol represents a single word – with similar-meaning words sharing aspects of the symbol (e.g., the symbol for “man” exists within each profession’s symbol – often as the combination of “man” and what defines the profession – e.g., man and death for necromancer, man and elements for elementalist, etc.). It doesn’t actually match any known Canthan ideograms though.

Given the nature of the symbol’s usage, I’d imagine it represents “seal” or some such.

Or it can be even less work and do as the OP suggests. Then move cannonball from ship to platform. Add channel on picking up the cannonball like on Spirit Watch. Remove cannon from platform and place 3 on ship pointed at each node (modify ship as needed), with the ability to only load/fire one cannon at a time. New cannonball will spawn only after all shots have been used or a timer expires (30 seconds or so). Once another cannon is loaded that can be the only one fired. That will basically make it a better version of Spirit Watch and Hammer. I always thought and remembered people saying they actually liked the map concept if it wasn’t for the terribly imbalanced water combat.

Either way you already have 80% of the map done just needs some tweaks.

the map on its own was cool and fun to play (besides water) they really dont need to do much.. make all rocks more red and water into sand..
Place some dunes/plants/rocks you already made in dry tops.. copy pasta work i guess :-P

now paint the ship old .. remove some planks making it look more old..

Dunno but it just doesnt sound much work, and we have our old map back + cool dry top theme! (just love those sand dunes!! )

Right.. so what you’re saying Nick is the skills are pretty equal as they are at the moment. One has more damage (a lot more than 10% more, because it scales better with power), has more DPS and cleaves without the need for traits, and is ranged and stacks some vulnerability.

Sounds pretty fair as it is.

Thats right they are indeed pretty equal.
But 100b does roots you.. so warriors need to setup a CC before landing ALL hits.. rapid fire doesnt need that.

Other problem they should solve is the distance.. somehow i cant even cross rivers because rangers on the other side are killing me from 2000+ range.. now me on GS warrior it issnt that hard to close the 2000 range gap.. but for others this becomes a real problem, even bigger when ranger just swoop away :-)
Just make it a real 1500 max.. 1500 is already kitten far.

But this is a wvw standpoint

In pvp they are annoying i must agree haha :-P but not that Great if your a team.. in hotjoin they are annoying (ranger killing everyone from range where people keep hitting the bunker on cappoint.. those situations.. )

I’m getting sick and tired of whiny little boys turning a forum called WARRIOR into girly whinefests (apologies to the ladies). Be men for a change. when should the cast time for 100b be reduced? i say after warriors stop bragging about 44k 100b channels.

how is a 15k rapid fire more OP than a 44k 100b?

Rapid Fire:
Damage Damage (10x): 1,320 (3.75)?
10 Vulnerability: 10 s
Physical Projectile (20% chance)
Range: 1,200
Casttime: 2,5sec (so 1300 / 2,5 = 520 dps)

100b:
Damage Damage (8x): 1,624 (4.4)?
Damage Final strike damage: 406 (1.1)?
Number of Targets: 3
Range: 130
Casttime: 3,5sec (so 2000 / 3,5 = 571 dps)

Conculsion
100b does 10% more dmg on MELEE RANGE

BUT!!! rapid fire also give 10 Vulnerability stacks (so thats 10% dmg) AND 20% chance for Physical Projectile

Hmmmm…

The problem with setting up a burst is that those skills suffer just like Rush does..(bulls/bolas)
So now i have to use a CC before landing a different CC to land a burst what could be a CC

And also CI is a must have for warrios in pvp.. the class is all build around CI at this point..

Chap might reply to this. I play a warrior (PVT Shout Heal) and to be honest and quite happy with the changes. He knows more than I about balance however so i will bring it up with him tomorrow morning.

See, Chris… PVT Shout build is probably near the top of LEAST impacted Warrior builds, as a result of this adrenaline nerf.

Running around spamming Shouts and swinging a hammer, as you hurl yourself into Zergs, is still fine after this adrenal change. And as a PVT shout heal warrior, I’d tend to suspect you’re zerging it up quite a bit in WvW, because… well honestly, that’s all they’re really good at. PvP it’s a fairly meh build, Guards/Eles/Engies bunker better.

You’ll never “miss” with your earthshakers in a crowd of 15 people. And Soldier runes wipe condi’s fast as anything. You can even trait to gain almost a bar of adrenaline per shout.

So, try a roaming build or competitive PvP build.

See how the adrenaline loss-on-miss feels versus an experienced player who can reliably avoid your bursts 75% of the time.

See how that 75% miss ruins your condi-clearing from Cleansing Ire, leaving you up to your ears in condis. You’ll quickly understand why warriors feel LOCKED into Longbows combustive shot.

Hey what’s up man.

Before this change, it was the case that the Warrior Dogged/Cleansing specs were able to pretty much just spam their burst skills and remove condies. We had a lot of players (on forums and in person, talking to them at Gamescom) talking about how they wanted to have more play/skill to this, and they also wanted (if they were players who played AGAINST this type of Warrior) to have more counter-play.

This change means that Warriors need to be thinking ahead to their condition cleanse, as they will no longer be able to get them without risk. It also means that missing a burst skill can hurt the Warrior more than it did before, so even if you’re not running Cleansing, an opponent making you miss your burst skill can be a really big, really impactful moment in a fight.

This change means that some Warrior specs will need to shift/adjust, and you’ll need to do more “setting up” of your burst skill (to give it a higher chance to land) if you’re relying on Cleansing for condie clears.

What about the decay when leaving combat?
Burst skills cant be used anymore in pve because you always start empty.. mobs are dead before having some adrenaline.

Cant we give it a +10 or +5 sec before its starts to decay?

This issnt about mechanic depth, you didnt even explained why the chance is good..

Also you didnt even read/listen to what the warrior players are asking for.
We dont ask to undo the chance, we agree we spend all adrenaline even when we miss an burst. all we ask for is to delay the adrenaline drain when out of combat.

Now 1sec after combat its draining empty.. 2,5 later and its gone.. you think thats fun to play in pve? where you cant even use 1 burst skill because the mob is dead before you even have 1 bar…
Do you think if we ask +5sec it will be unbalanced in wvw or pvp? i dont think so.. does this helps the warriors in pve ? yes it does.

What did you do? 4/5 about rangers.. 1/5 slap in the face argument about warrior.

I got warrior, played in all modes – in pvp I could so easely dominate in zerk ammy… While beeing almost unkillable.

Cant really take you serious now if you really think warriors are almost unkillable with zerk ammu, it only looks like unkillable for new people but when knowing warr you shouldnt have a hard time to beat them.

How’s it bugged?

Oh man first you reply with bolas and now you dont even know whats wrong with it..
2 years ago i used this skills but its kitten buggy.. on uneven terrain or just walk left/right and bolas will miss.. just a waste of utility slot.

Complaining about 100blades and backstab worked and we got it nerfed, despite the many L2P posts like yours. Why shouldn’t we try? :p

Spend your time doing whatever you want. Adeptning to new metas and having a understanding of other classes makes you a better player, raging on the forums doesn’t.

So you think everyone now have to adept for rangers?
Where in the past every class got nerfed? look at what become to warriors.. every single patch there is a nerf for them and thiefs.. soon or later this skill will get nerfed.

Lets assume for a second that you’re right and that even though this skill is very easy to counter, it is easier to cry on the forums to have it changed rather than going into the game and adapting to beat it.

Do you really think this will result in a better game? Should we just remove all weapons/armor/skills from the game and give everyone pillows to fight with?

These baby rangers are playing high risk, high reward builds. It will hurt to face tank the damage but if you avoid even part of the burst they are ridiculously easy to kill.

I have yet to lose to a single one of them across every profession including necro.

Warrior burst skills wassnt hard to dodge either > they are now one of the most telegraphic skills in the game..

And the funny part is they where giving warriors more sustain and bind it all together with adrenaline burst skills before making the burst skill that more telegraphic..
And ofc many dmg nerfs or other weird nerfs like 100b/ww nerf or the SOR..

And the moment its up people are already QQ about something else on warriors.

Now that i have been playing warrior for 2 years it issnt that much about L2p.. its more wich class has the most OP build and how much QQ gets 1 build before getting nerfed or even buffed (you never know with anet weird balancing)

Warrior rifle actually got nerfed, not buff.

Guildwars 2 is the ONLY game when you can shoot an arrows farther than a bullet lol, hence Bow 1500, Rifle 1200.

bow 2000+ (bullets stop when reaching the max distance.. arrows dont)

What about this:
Warriors are masters of weaponry.. yet they have 130 max range and rangers have 200 with GS… warriors cant even leap like rangers because they find GS to heavy so they run very slow 1200 units away (rush)..

Warriors are even that dumb they cant even move when swinging there GS (100b)
