well you answered yourself now, you need to invest in means to make 100b viable, sPvP is no where like PvE, no one will stand in your melee 100b unless you force them to.
Rapid fire in comparison is light years more effective no need to use an utility for it.
did you look at the screenshot? i already had bolas on the bar.
but regardless, i’m still waiting for you to do 21k damage with your “light years more effective” rapid fire without using any cooldowns, heck, go ahead, use your long cooldowns, use them all!
you’ll never come close to the damage that 100b can do without any cooldowns.
do you even play pvp? rapid fire is 1500 range without needing for a setup..

When the sigils procs you here the sound of our healing skill mending. Allot of times this sigils removed a stacked condition like bleed/confusion/torment.. But i cant find out how they prioritize.
Still this trait is good but:
It cost you burst mastery or
It cost you to much traits (not all builds go deep in discpline)
The sigil does 50% the same like the grandmaster trait…
Maby they should move BR to master so people can deside to go more dmg or cleansing

Nah, you only need to move. That’s a special skill you can use with wasd.
Ways to mitigate Hundred Blades:
1. Move out of the way.
2. Dodge.Ways to mitigate Rapid Fire:
1. Move out of the way (behind an object).
2. Dodge.
3. Reflection.
4. Missile Destruction.
5. Block while at range.I think that the bigger list of mitigation possibilities certainly counters the fact that it can be used at range and while moving.

all i see now in pvp AND wvw are longbow rangers spamming from MILES away with insane fast BULLETS doing 2K+ auto attacks (and fast!!) and a FULL 100b skill on 1500 range and 3x faster..
Ow you can dodge it!! what!?? i dodge 1 rapid fire they spam away with GS and do it all over again..
Atleast for most burst skills you have to do something to even LAND your burst… or you have to be in MELEE range making yourself vulnerable.. this is just madness..
Creating a ranger now also for wvw.. spamming AA > knockback > rapid.. > stealth > block with GS en leap away > AA > knockback > rapid.. > repeat > repeat

Its sucks very bad now in pve.. its terrible to start with empty adrenaline ALL THE TIME
Almost never use a burst skill now in pve..
in PVP/WVW i can understand it

So one single aspect, just a fraction of what makes a single weapon, is worst then a fraction of what makes another weapon for another profession. This is an entirely arbitrary comparison by the way.
And based on this, the former should be buffed.Well, Warriors have more baseline health and armor. So i suppose Rangers should get a buff to baseline health and armor. Because thats how this works, apparently.

Like LB is only good for rapid fire. so there is no stealth and knockback on it? or decent AA?….. what does GS warrior have? besides run skills.. a good Whirlwind.. decent slow cripple skill.. lame AA.. hard to hit 100b. and now a somewhat better F1..
Ow warriors have heavy armor? so rangers dont have protection right? because a ranger with protection is still more reduction compared to a warrior..
Endure pain? ranger got it +2sec more..
No evade? sword… block? > GS… with also a leap better compared to rush…

Agree.. 100b kinda sucks in pvp when knowing you need to build around it.. cost you a utility or another weapon set to even land 80% of 100b…
where others can do it from range and faster and without any other utility setup or whatever.

1: Why did the base stats increased by 10 stats?
From 916 to 926 (PVP amulets are also increased due to this)
2: Why did the precision formula changed with this also?
Old formula for precision to crit chance =(Precision – 822) / 21
New formula for precision to crit chance =(Precision – 832) / 21
3: Why did you changed the +% dmg below 50% health on Arcing Slice on the last moment? (intended? )

I see allot of:
The skill is now more reliable to proc CI..
This could be, but whatever you say the burst does terrible damage.. not even spending adrenaline on..
Sorry but its much better to save the adrenaline for your different weapon for a real burst attack..
This skill doesnt do anything good besides its now more reliable to land.. wow so great.. good luck hitting it for a whoepdiekittening 2-3k.. lol
yeah but its AOE! so what! not that everyone around you is in melee range AND below 50% health.. and even then WOW you hit his pet also for 2-3k! wow! great.
if you run mace you also run shield > shield bash = a small leap + 1 sec stun
= enough time to land your Skullcrack..
Skullcrack is 3sec stun.. earthshaker only 2sec..
skull crack is harder to see compared to earthshaker (the leap and the hammer above head is so kitten easy to see.. cant miss it to dodge)
If you make it a leap skill it would be kinda OP..
Range from 130 to 200 seems “OK”
Just hate that this skill is 3sec base stun.. + the sigil it becomes a 4sec stun. thats massive!!
But again. people say its HARD to land.. dunno why because you have a daze AND leap stun on shield.. how hard can it be to land a skullcrack after that.. its not that we all run 3x stability.. most players only run 1 stunbreaker + 1x stability..

CI is still much stronger because it doesnt only cleanse more, but also gives adrenaline..

Getting feared or immob? > swap weapon
Getting condi spammed ? when swapping weapons you already removed most BIG bleeding stacks or confusion stacks.. the rest of the conditions can be removed by CI..
Problem with CI is that it takes longer to remove something you want to remove as fast as possible..
Brawlers is doing its job perfect!!
when you also add a remove condi sigil your almost immume against condi build (which btw are almost all roamers..)

I prefer the cooldown reduction+might trait(hoelbrak/might runes…) over the flat +10% dmg trait.
And i prefer the Fury+vigor over the 7% converted to vitality..
Strength line just gives some flat out more stats..
But stats doesnt really make your class better.. yeah you maby hit harder.. but in the end its all about how often can you hit someone or avoid damage..
And the cooldown reduction helps you doing more skills (more whirlwind)
Means you evade more.. + the vigor = more dodges. + more fury = more crits = more might.
And almost all warriors use hoelbrak or strenght runes.. so you benefit more wiht them because the might on crit..
Mad about the 5% dmg nerf on 100b and Whirlwind?
Wanna have that 5% dmg back?
Use the trait “slashing Power” and you see the 5% dmg nerf is undone (no not talking about a flat 10% dmg, this trait gives you 10% more dmg on the OLD 100b/ww dmg amounts… )

Its about Arcing arrow, the skill is a 1000-1200 ranged arrow with a blast finisher.
If you fire it from this range into a firefield 1000-1200 away you dont get the might stacks..
Only if i am close enough to the blast finisher (240 units ) i get the might..
I understand you dont get a bonus because your that far away.. but why even make a 1200 ranged skill a blast finisher if you dont profit from it.. i HAVE to be in melee range to fire an arrow.. else you dont profit from the blast finisher

And no this patch doesnt made guardian suddenly OP.. they where already very good (medi guards) and yes this patch did buff them even more.
If you compared guard with other classes i can say you they have too much burst for the amount of sustain they have.
And dont come with the argument, if you get target and 3 man jump on guard they just dead.. every class if dead when multiple jump on 1.

Right now there burst is INSANE.. and with allot of healing
Every meditation skill heals for 2k…
Where merciful intervention heals for another 2k (its like a second healing skill for 4k healing) + virt of resolve guardian have like 18-20k healing every 38 sec… (if you count all the skills together)
20k every 40 sec lets say.. thats insane!!
Now this is OK if there burst is more like warriors, but its much more direct dmg..
Why do we have 1200 ranged blast finishers in this game but you dont get the blast finisher bonus?
Like a fire field > 1200 range blast finisher arrow on it > normally you get 3 stacks of might.
But you only get this might if you are in melee range where the blast hits.. (around 240 units)
So if you fire the arrow from 1200 range or anything above 240 range you DONT get the might…
Why do we have 1200 ranged blast finishers if you dont get the bonus (like might..)

When i use combustive shot for a fire field > arcing arrow for a blast finisher i dont always get the might.. but it does say “Area Might” in the screen..

yeah its a shame… those skirts are just so kitten ugly and BIG… where those armored legs/pants are just perfect and simple.. dunno why they keep making that mistake.
Yeah no… from the ready up i would say yes> Burst skill 1 > swap and Arcing slice..
But the damage is way to low for that.. even rush does more dmg.. so why not swap and rush it..
And decreasing your weapons swap with 1 sec doesnt do any good..
first: it cost you a rune set for just -1 sec…
second: when your fighting you dont swap everytime its off cooldown.. you dont really swap every 4 sec.. so you dont really benefit from runes of the warrior.

Think about this CI+BR maby another sigil of cleansing… this would give the warriors so much sustain against condi builds (for roaming) kinda hard to ignore all this..
Yeah you can spend more in strength for more dmg ofc but i think these traitlines (strength/arms) are not that great compared to defense/discipline..

combined with the new Brawler’s Recovery you can now remove 3 conditions every 10 sec. (if you do swap every 5sec.. that issnt always the case..)
Ofc not the same as Cleansing ire does.. but still it could be nice for those dont go for Cleansing ire.. but this will def. not bu enough vs condi spam.
Take a look at the pvp amulets.. they also have + 10 stats to primaire .. +7 for second +3 for the third stat

But for compensation we get a viable Arcing slice:

But now it seems you nerfed that to

… why are there even ready ups or forums to give feedback when we never get any info about this?
Just like you nerfed combustive shot in the past because of the adrenaline you get from that skill (where all players where saying you dont even get adrenaline from burst skills.. only icm furious).. no extra info from Anet
pvp amulets got 10 more stats..
in pve you also get 10 more stats on lvl 80..

After waiting 2 years we FINALLY thought they buffed arcing slice to be viable.. and nerfed it somehow in the last second?? dunno why and ofc we will never know just like all other nerfs they did.
