You know duels don’t just happen in S/TPvP right…
They are insane in 1 Vs 1 in WvW so they get buffed for S/TPvP then they would become even more broken in WvW.
Warriors are better in wvw yes, same for the other classes. No difference.

anet is forcing us to go condi.
Anet nerfs the best weaponset from warrior but its forcing us to use them (longbow) if you run anything else you will be outplayed.
And even if you play hambow you will never win from those classes because the rotation is just way to easy to avoid. In group it will be good because you cant focus them good but in duel it issnt that hard to avoid there cc chain and soon pin down. problem is Anet doesnt care about duels and the nerfs for warr is understanding from a teamed view. But atleast give them some options to be more skilled in duels. Because most warr weapons just do 1 thing: damage, landing it? Thats still a big problem.
look at the builds we had in the past.. Almost all where build to setup 1 burst and nothing more like old frenzy 100b or stun to 100b. Or evi after shield bash etc etc. All simple rotations that works but not against good players. And between your burst rotation there is just nothing to do for warr besides getting damaged. Where other classes can have sooo much more in the mean time.. Teleport away.. Spamming your blinds.. Go stealth etc etc... All to create time for next burst rotation. What does a warrior do? Blow his stances. Blow your shield stance maby.. So after 2 or 3 rotations your doomed because there is just nothing left to avoid getting hit. This is the problem is see for warriors

There are skills to the right of your healing signet.
That we need for atleast 1 stunbreaker/stability and berserker stance.. So you can have 1 skill to work with your weapon like bulls or immob… Where every class gets them IN there weapon skills

nice damage, what does it more? nothing .. axe off hand is terrible
sword:
hybrid but its lacking some real damage if you play zerker. only final thrust hits hard but good luck trying to hit that in duel. lol
rifle:
nice damage but terrible in duel..
mace:
slow.. so terrible slow, offhand is terrible
and we have ofc hammer and longbow.
both are good weapon but gets soooo much nerfs after nerfs after nerfs and anet doesn’t give anything back on other weapons or anything.
Fix Gs so it issnt a rooted 100b.. like guardian, and do something about F1 and rush
Fix Axe > give evi more range > move damage more at the beginning of the chain, axe off hand… just remove it from the game. look at skill 4… really!??!? 3sec fury and low damage.. ?!? that’s it!?!
Fix mace > give it some form of cripple or anything.. way to hard to land a single skill with that weapon, off hand is terrible.. 4 stacks of vuln!?! that’s a skill?? really? maby give tremor a cripple.
Fix sword > give it more raw damage on the last hit of the chain, its just does way to low damage. make final thrust less clunky
Fix rifle > no idea.. its just a terrible weapon in duels. does nothing more than damage..
look at the weapon skills from thief or mesmers or guardian etc.. shadowsteb > blind > teleport > pull > etc etc.. so much more to bring into a duel compared to warrior doing 1 thing damage.. landing your damage? haha that’s your problem

yes they are! they may be good in teamed play, but in duels they are just bad.
go ahead and say warrior have OP healing and OP skills like endure pain etc etc bla bla bla.. but there weapon skills are just so kitten easy to read and there damage is lame compared to dps guards or any thief.. other classes have so much ways to get out for free and instant or easy to land burst skills/rotations, where are left with nerfs and nerfs and nerfs just because they are GOD vs ALL noobs/newbies but sadly terrible agains ANY good player in duels.

thanks for the help guys. if found that a a cross with cav armour and valk trinks gets me only ~100 less power for much more survivability
switched to sword for bleed uptime and the damage increase overall, beating the discipline trait, and shield was tossed for war horn for more mobility.

I do wonder if the 3x crit sigil and low crit chance is going to be enough.. not sure yet. but atleast you have way more defensive stats now also.

Changed traits also, so you get more adrenaline with both weapons and +10% damage on bleeding targets (rifle is bleeding on AA) also increased crit chance with 35% so its now 55%.. so you get more bleeding chance from precise strikes + 50% longer bleeding from trait.. this will make sure you will always benefit from the +10% damage..
Ok you lost
-3500 health
-15% crit damage
You get:
+10% damage
+35% crit chance (in total 55%)
+50% bleeding duration
+10% crit chance on burst
+ 1 adrenaline on crit for both weapons (volley!!)
With this build your sigils will also be more usefull.

build 1:
2120/2600*0.45+2120/2600*0.55*2.1=1.3
with fury and 25 might: 2.1
build 2:
2090/2600*0.4+2090/2600*0.6*2.05=1.31
with fury and 25 might: 2.098

If your numbers are good.
With or without fury, the best DPS is Build 2, followed by Build 1, then Build 3.
With 25 stack of bloodlust, or with Might, or with both, its Build 2, followed by Build 3, then Build 1
With 25 stack of perception, its Build 2, followed by Build 1, followed by build 3.
So i guess that i would take build 2. But if you really want the defence that the build 3 can give you, you can min-max your stuff (from sigil, boons, buff, etc) to minimize your DPS lost.

As you can see:

Doesnt matter if you get blinded or not or the hit radius.. you drop an aoe on the ground. even blinded you can drop it..

Nerf on cleansing ire, only removes 2 conditions on full adrenaline and zero on 1 adrenaline bar?
But you give more condition remove options on warhorn trait etc.. this will only hurt more builds because now cleansing ire issnt enough so you need another trait for more cleansing..
Anet already nerfed so many damage on longbow and hammer.. (even other weapons) after we get sustain, if you nerf our sustain now also we are worse than before.

nobody is going to take any of the new GM traits on warriors.
because it will cost you a different good GM trait the warriors are using right now.
-100% on burst is in 30 strength, nobody is going that far in that traitline
-10% attack speed.. you wont even feel or see the difference, besides its only there when using a sword/axe/mace in offhand.. nobody use it because they suck, besides sword off hand, but that’s a 100% condi weapon so they don’t benefit much
-+ armor on stun break… ok well first if you use endure pain for a stun break you wont need any extra armor.. maby its nice when using other stun breakers but still it cost you a different trait like endure pain on 25% health or for hambow warrior it will cost you either hammer trait or cleansing ire..
-might for allies, warrior itself doesn’t benefit from it.. could be nice for a might stacking boost party.. but the only reason warriors go 30 into this traitline is to get healing on banner or healing on shouts.. well not sure if any warrior will give that up for some might..
-the last one is silly, remove blind on swap… why not just auto attack 1 more?? no lets skip the rotation and swap your weapon, this also cost you burst mastery…
so overall you wont see warriors running this, maby some experimenting it but that’s it.
So will this be a 300 Ferocity trait (30 points) (so that’s 20% crit damage)

You cant even defend something..
If you try you have to stand on the edge of the wall to even hit someone, at that point you get bombed to dead.
Massive AOE on walls pretends you from even getting that close and when you stay too far you cant do any damage.

If you have high armour and high hps with the healing and survivability afforded by the signet and stances you’re ranged capabilities should be awful.

if you spec for range you should do fine even on warrior, its nonsense what you say.
And what most people keep telling is we don’t need a damage buff on this skill, just a delay fix.. they can even bring down some damage if it needs too.. but the afterdelay is horrible on this skill.
It has already 2x projectile, and with one bugged trait it gives both of them 100% chance to trigger combo fields plus range increase. How is this bad?
? That doesnt make it twice more damage, only both arrows does decent damage but on long casttime, its aftercast is what makes it bad. It holds you for using any other skill because the aftercast on #1 is kitten skow, i rather have less damage with shorter aftercast so you can react fastet if you need to fire a blindshot.. Now you wait for 1sec before you can even use an other skill, so your often too late.
And btw that bugged trait alsi reduced its total damage from #1 and you also mentioned it >> its a bugged trait so why even bring that here
why is abyss on all light (cloth) armor pure black and on these 2 cloth parts it turns gray.
And the head part (heavy armor) is much more lighter compared to chest heavy or any other heavy part.
Been runing this build for almost a year now..
And i still like it, i did first 0/30/20/0/20 buy for some more damage i run 0/30/25/0/15 now..
Furious is very good in this build because both weapons can benefit from it + high crit..
Btw i rather run with Oppertunist instead of blademaster, thats because i dropped signet master for 25%speed, with that its just so easy to stick around with sword
And yes i run with lyssa but also 3xstances.. So yeah i havr 60sec lyssa.. But i dont really feel much difference.
Signet of dolyak looks nice but most of the time you dont benefit from the passive and you need signet master with that.

First: heavy armor Charr players ONLY have cultural that fits well.. and even cultural gets some weird clipping/shaping problems.
Second: every armor set is made on human model and also humans get there cutural armor also.. and you dont care about Charr? lol very hard to say…

Huge HP pool, remarkable amount of toughness, high power, crit% and critdmg. You don’t have range dmg but that’s where infamous HamBow shines, doesn’kitten
I don’t want warrior to be hard nerfed but adjusted. Shatter mesmer, D/P trickery thief are great examples of high risk/high reward specs. You need to know your opponents and act accordingly to their actions, not just mash buttons. Warrior is just too EZ, imo.
TLDR; You can build a warrior in such a way that it has not a single weaknesss while still being plain sailing to play effectively.

Guild wars 2 is about avoiding the damage, not only doing damageAnd for the love of jeebus, 4s invulnerability to phys damage every 1 min? just dont hit warrior for 4s, is that too hard? apply conditions, immob, slow him, run around for 4 seconds.
Dont foget to remove 280 toughness on warr because:
100 from trait thats only above 90%..

warriot is the most stat stacking class in this game and all people is seeying that as OP compared to other classes, but its more a weakness because well most traits and allot of skills just boost stats and not much more to bring unique into a fight

I’m not trying to be a d**k but Anets been treating charr like sh** since release and for them to carelessly break charr even more is making me so sick inside. Even after the year of complaints about tail clipping they still go out and release the garbage known as zodiac armor. There is no hope.

They could easily fix this and we have so much clipping problems solved at oncei meant that the different hight of shoulders on norn males is intended that they not stand like candle straight but their shoudler are a bit shifted more relaxed
I understand they dont stand static and boring like a human, so the shoulders will never take the same placement when your character keeps moving when staying still.
But there are moments where you character doesnt move at all, maby its not that huge for Norns, but on charr you can see a huge difference between the shoulders.

What the hell is your problem? They didn’t fix anything. They bugged the armor unintentionally and they need to revert it back. It looks horrible.

It’s an issue with humans also, more now than before with the new changes to some of the armor. Hopefully if we raise enough hell (respectfully of course) we can get a response to this issue.
Can you show many any shoulder on human with this? because I checked them from PVP_locked and didn’t saw any shoulder with the same problem on Charr and Norn

Well there is a bug on this skill.. when used from stealth the other wont see the whirlwind animation.. this is what bothers me most
