I main a thief and I was doing pretty well in the unranked queue, coming out on top of my team if not winning most of the time. How do I do this, you ask?
I just capture points!
Oh, and I avoid all interaction with enemy players.

i pretty much did this in the past months. All i get to kill is almost dead guys lol
Am afraid that EOTM will be dead soon. I have been in 6 EOTM yesterday and it was just baghunting. Within 30min our zerg went from 50 to 15. After one hour of baghunting, the tag left so anybody else.
Most people like to do the objectives of the map and when they can’t do it, they just leave. Anet did a great job on the new BL, but some people wont understand that baghunting is what killing WvW. Anyhow am only doing EOTM for dailies, since this baghunting is getting excessive.
oh i can of right now is to finish off the low hp targets. for 1v1s, you’re gonna need to outplay them be flawless with no mistakes. pretty hard if you ask me.
i saw a condi rev coming my way after i capped far, tried defending the point but had to retreat due the high amount of conditions the rev had. Too bad i was running core thief.
Yup. Introduce a faulty unfinished feature and nerf the skills to accommodate this feature to hide its flaws. Because it’s the skills fault why such a faulty feature doesn’t work correctly — logic understood.
To be fair, I don’t see it as a nerf. At worst a neutral change.
I mean OOC thieves can still use signet of shadows. In combat thieves can use steal.
I would be mad if they’d nerfed SB#5. This is a minor change.
Thrill of the Crime was good in parties for 5 person swiftness and fury, even when out of combat (such as running from one place to another). Now that you need a target it can no longer be used on cooldown with no target to gain the associated boons. It’s NOT a neutral change, it’s absolute lose.
Out of combat it would have only been good for the swiftness and there are much better ways in a party of getting swiftness than wasting steal.
i saved myself when i used steal without a target. I was in a situation where i was low, just used shadowstep to escape from far, and had no other utilities to stop the mesmer’s gs auto attack.
my necro was in the pvp lobby when i logged in. Started the elite specialization but did not get a bouncy chest reward for the reaper’s greatsword. The collection is locked also.
let them talk to themselves, idk what nerds these days have to rage about when its just a videogame
you dont have a competitive spirit do you ? like , its enough if you take part , no need to win ? there is nothing more that i hate then losing , doesnt matter if real life or a game , i rage if i loose a match because i have someone in my team dieing at svanir just like i rage when i loose a football match because someone made stupid plays

ps: most harcore raging is going on when i play mario kart, like… im in first place and then get kittened by the blue turtle….
ya sure its annoying when u have newbs on your team but i dont kittening harrass them. Hell. i played in my high school’s football team and we tell our team mates to get their heads out of their kitten and stay focused when they kitten up in a play. If kitten continues the coaches be yelling at you across the field lol. so yeah i know what competition is.
also its a video game, chill. They’re supposed to be an escape from reality not an actual football game.

Each had 100-200 AP so obviously they’re new accounts and they would be matched up against people who are new to pvp. well im pretty sure its fun to get bursted with 13 stacks of burn and have the new players get a laugh spam by them
anyways i think there should be a higher lvl requirement for these f2p accounts to enter pvp.
For a new F2P player, to come up with a OP burn guard build, unless they were looking at meta battle, is highly unlikely. Even a veteran MMO player would take more that 2 days to come up with a build like that, and know how to play it. Unless those players were copying straight out of meta battle, but even then it would take a little bit of time to learn how to play it effectively.
My guess is that a couple of vets got free accounts, rolled up burn guards just to troll people in PvP. I am sure you weren’t the only one who saw it was a low AP account, with a lower level player and thought “easy prey” and weren’t prepared for what they could do.
I think you misunderstand him.
He’s saying that veterans making new accounts will ruin the experience for people who are actually new to the game. New players will be matched up against veterans on new accounts, get destroyed and laughed at, and dislike the game. He’s offering the suggestion of increasing the level requirement to play PvP so that veterans are less likely to spend the time making new accounts to troll with.
ya i was just saying the smurf accounts are kinda ruining the experience of newer players. and as for the burn guard supporters it is always nice to return the burn stack back to the guard with arcane thievery. Then again the skill is kinda buggy lol.
