Xushin from Maguuma. Dragun Knight from YB. Bannok from SBI. Any of those servers lose those guys, there is literally nobody to replace them.

You seem obsessed with DK. He is an excellent commander and has been a pillar of strength for YB, but we did manage on our own when he took a break last year for longer periods (guy needs a break too). Generally speaking, I agree with the sentiment that no commander is irreplaceable i.e. if one steps down there are others who steps up most of the time.

what are you talking about? ie bannok from sbi was gone for about 2 months and sbi dropped down tiers. population at that time for them was low. Other people tagged up but pugs will be pugs. Than all of a sudden sbi was revived and guess who came back?

2-3 people can defend a fully upgraded keep for quite some time against 30-40 people with good placement of siege and so on. That should also give enough time to contact people on other maps in order to get assistance.

because the most serious wvw person will not get nice things if they only play wvw. Don’t give me some bullkitten with the rank chests giving ascended kitten

Doing my thing, roaming in WVW, my own borderlands. Getting wrecked the week by two stronger servers. They own our Hills, but I see in mapchat we are planning to take it back. Oh well I’ll just go kill some dolyaks and flip a few camps. Eventually end up running closer to Hills, see two orange swords, decide to check it out. Massive battle between our servers, probably 100+ people. I run through the broken front doors to check it out, so much carnage – screw this – go into stealth… Decide the only thing a cowardly thief would do here is to run over the bridge and hide in the lord’s room.

Go into lord’s room – there’s nobody here! Lord is dead, room is empty, nobody is guarding! Go sit in the circle. Count down the seconds with sweat on my brow. Capture Hills while 100 people are still fighting. Eventually we end up massacring them inside Hills, corpses everywhere. Mapchat praising me as a a hero. My 15 minutes of fame.

I don’t know what are you talking about. Supply reward is my main motivation when i defend enemys blue keep 3.5 hours in EotM.

this guy gets it. It should be everyone’s motivation to go to etom to receive some wonderful supply.

what about scrubs alt+f4ing? downed this condi teef in my matchup and he rage quitted twice. Than he proceeds to spam me with emotes. I mean I didn’t even do anything bad mannered, all I did was kill his friends one by one like bad henchmen in a movie.

What do you mean exactly? I thought there was an update (probably a good few months ago now) that made it so that if someone DCs or just straight up ragequits when downed in WvW that it still counts as a kill..

I heard there is a way to avoid it but clicking the new exit wvw button on the wvw tab but not sure

yeah this condi thief was doing this multiple times in a 30 min time frame. Kept dying to me and i did receive rewards but i feel that he deserved a finisher from me or me watching him slowly die. Still feel that there should be a consequence to this, ie you can’t go to wvw because of a dishonor system or something like that.

just faced a condition tank thief that did this twice today. Pretty annoying and he should be punished for alt+f4 and running a crappy build and still dying to my semi glass thief.

although this is off topic, using the buttons to switch attunements is much more faster than clicking them. Just gotta start reacting faster

daggerstorm will probably save your life. If multiple enemies are present, your gonna have to try to run and use LOS to your advantage because most likely your a squishy teef. Unless your a condi thief…your basically a tank!

Gotta realize the ones defending LB Rangers and spewing that “l2p skrub” garbage are usually closeted LB Rangers, afraid of loosing that gravy train-ez mode. It’s understandable. Rangers have been under powered for so long, there are fears of going back to that. Hence why people cling to the LB Ranger Sic Em Wolf is just fine mantra.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

It’s only fair to give the option of shutting down 1 defensive trait tree for each profession for 6 seconds. No warning. Lets not even be greedy and have them only for thieves, lets have it available to all classes.

Like I said before, if you rely entirely on 1 thing to keep you alive you are a bad player leaning on a gimmick. You should spend a month or so running a build that doesn’t use stealth, once you learn to use all the other tools available to thieves you will be a much better player.

1500 range with height advantage, pretty kitten with the range. At least 5 of anything else, there won’t be channeling skills tracking you as effective as rapid fire.

had the same settings since i got this computer 2 months ago, just 2 days ago, loading a mop took longer than usual.

Loading the game has been 3 times longer in the past 2 days, any reason why this is happening?

+1, could use some people here. I know T2 is overstacked with queues up the kitten for my alt account in FA (come down to bronze league people!). Than you have fake DK spewing all sorts of crap with propaganda back when we were in our golden age, I feel as that discouraged a lot of people from transferring back then but if your looking for a new home, I would and eveeryone else in DR would welcome you.

If you have a gs you can gap close them easily, just make sure they have used point blank before you rush or enjoy one in the face. They are also at huge disadvantage in close tig areas so there you can gang them up easily.

If you run hambow/shoutbow prepare you get wrecked by any decent pewpew ranger and theres nothing you can do unless as i said you fight them in close tig areas..

When im playing on my pewpew and i see a shield block i just turn back and start running away so you wont close any gap to me, in close range i will use entagle and kitten you over. Shield stance is overrated.

stability would be able to block their point blank shot and warriors have a lot of gap closers so you remain in melee most of the time. Stances also give you a huge advantage but don’t let them go to waste. As for regen rangers, i simply rp walk around them and then skedaddle away because it ain’t fun fighting them at all.

also you can equip shield or even a mace and have the reflect trait equipped to watch them kill themselves

sometimes its annoying that pugs don’t go on TS and have a mind of their own when following a tag. Then they die and rally a bunch of enemies.
