I don’t think you are reading anything that I wrote, 3rd level has LITTLE TO DO WITH DODGING. I can dodge I do dodge but NO ONE in this game is going to be able to dodge every few seconds, and that literally means every few seconds. NOT minutes.
The fact is that the mobs on the 3rd floor all do either knockdowns, DoT’s, or cripples and the mobs are stacked very closely together resulting in a spam fest of all these negative effects. This in return means that there is NO possible way to avoid everything being thrown at you unless your running with a group. And for some glass builds that means 3rd level floor is impossible to be solo.

Thief can dodge 9 times in a row with the proper traits/runes/sigils.

Solo’d easy on my zerker ele 0/30/0/10/30. Just gotta dodge.

Er, CoD is not braindead. You probably need the brain size of a rat to figuire out the small mazelike maps and estimate where another player will appear based on sound and positioning within said mazelike maps.

Honestly GW2 needs a CoD mode where you put 10 or so players in a small map where you can knock each other off if you don’t have stability for easy win. This mode should also have a secondary objective where players can use a huge tactical nuke that can’t be block/evaded and does massive aoe damage at the press of a button and and and and. . . This mode/map should be in soloqueue for further effectiveness.

Ele also needs more HP. About 20k base hp because the people in dungeon forum are surprised my ele has anything more than 10k hp with full zerker gear. Also we need higher base armor/toughness. Probably call it super heavy class.

Comparing heavy armor class with alot of blocks + 5 point trait line vigor on crit and Aegis with a ton of group utility to a cloth class?

Aegis + invul + tons of reflect is a gg class. So why so many failguards in Arah?

You shouldn’t be too concerned with your HP as a thief as the class has alot of stealth, teleports and evades. You probably wanna focus on damage but hey whatever floats your quaggan I know some thieves who like extra vitality in their builds.

naturally you have to handicap yourself because ele is so strong.

If you can’t drop an engy with automated response running at 1k-5k health immune to everything don’t expect to get a competent ele down 90% by yourself.

anet really wants to push these changes? were they touched by a really skilled ele in spvp/wvw?

tempest defense with d/x will be great for annoying people without stability.

I walked into a Arah run where everyone was ragequitting at corrupted canals. Make it through easy with ‘DODGING’ and mistform. So a necro joins with 1k AP and I figuire he is noob he can’t make it. I laugh to myself and say no way this necro will make it. He makes it SOLO easily and I have no clue how where a 10k AP warrior with dungeon master title couldn’t.

Long story short, AP mean little and I shouldn’t have judged him.

Honestly I don’t know the guy and never talked to him. You’d have a better shot asking him yourself on newer videos.

edit: you can probably look at earth’s embrace like a 4th free utility/stunbreak.

Dueling me won’t change if you are bad or not. :/ Also think you found the wrong class to play nakid, try warrior or guardian and you can probably afk against most people and still win. Anyway back on topic conditions are not so hard to combat. It’s probably a lrn2play issue or people use their cleanses too early.

Funny thing is one of their thieves used SR but the silly ele started to attack us. Shame couldn’t get the stomp off because every AoE in the game came our direction. Guys, staff just makes you a big shiney target for bored people. Atleast equip lightning flash or mistform so you can run away into keeps.
