I tried Whirling Axe last time I went it and I still got clobbered by AoE. Could have been due to people not stacking perfectly on me though. I thought maybe WA is a ring-type area and you need dome-types (or wall-types that are tall enough) to truly protect you.

It does, but I dont think its very reliable at keeping you from getting hit.
Spiders are still pre-spawned throughout TA and arah. But they are fine on the TA boss at the end. Honestly surprised the devs havent fixed the pre-spawning of drop down mobs in dungeons. Its been bugged for over a month.
Stop spamming our forum with pointless repeated threads. The devs dont look at this section so no amount of forum spamming is going to get the issue looked at.
Casuals that dont agree are very quick to report posts. I got reported multiple times on the necro forums for telling someone they were wrong politely, after they full on insulted me. I can take an insult so I didnt bother to report them back. I just find it amusing that mods have no issue infracting the player who gets reported but they fail to check the other posts.
Theres nothing wrong with selling slots. Some people solo/duo the paths and then sell, they deserve the extra reward for the time spent. Kicking people to sell their slot is unnacceptable but as has been said it seems like a really rare issue. If it does happen to you, just screenshot the names and report them.
Already have, aoe control (blind), kiting (cripple or blind + chill with trait) and damage. Not sure what other roles they could provide. I guess vuln could be good, but id imagine it would be really weak just like the bleeds on plague. Not sure mobility skills would really fit and they might make it op. Im not against adding new skills but I cant think of anything it needs or should have.
The best way to improve as a player is to play full melee in zerk gear and learn the encounters and dodges. You shouldnt need DS very often defensively. I just flakitten on cooldown for bonus fury and weakening shroud.

Tbf the dodge the shake thing has never worked consistantly/perfectly for me in the past. When I do get evades its just the eggs and they dont spawn spiders, they stack vulnerability on you.
Its amusing when you have superlag and get exploded by a clone from the other side of the room. Just need to get 8 orbs and then im done with all achieves. Determined to do on zerker. But i keep getting sidetracked with dungeons and stuff ;p

Guild is dead. Why be in a dungeon guild, when there is no reason to run a dungeon more than once a day? Another social killer. Run with PuGs or play something else.

I want to be rewarded for my time spent in the content I enjoy. I have various goals/skins im going for so I need money/mats… Tokens help by converting into ecto’s. I dont mind DR on repeating runs, but getting 20 tokens on the same path on a different character seems a bit much to me. Doesnt matter how much people enjoy dungeons, they wont repeat them unless the reward is worth it. Which is why selling slots on arah has recently become so popular.
For the warrior i only use dolyak signet for stability. Have 1 energy sigil, sword block and whirlwind attack. Necro should be able to get away with just spectral walk and an energy sigil. Have plague for emergency stability. Also got dark path. Think the hardest phase will be phase 1. Might need 2 energy sigils on necro but meh.
The only attack from lupi that i can partially agree on is the grub. Picking up a grub though doesnt need to be changed as it gets warped to him and by that time its pretty obvious its too late. Also believe it says under lupi’s name “consumes grubs”? The aoe is fine how it is imo.
I do occasionally switch into my old knights set when doing the bombs or going up to the switch on the dredge fractal. Its not needed, but it makes it slightly easier. But for skipping and colossus its really not worth the hassle to switch gear. You can do everything in zerker.
I use it for the passive. And im going to be trying a solo arah p2 with that build soon. Need to get some more practise on lupi with warrior first though.
I doubt Ill ever take it, even if it does get improved. It is probably our worst signet. I still want locust to be a stunbreak though. I would however consider taking undeath if the passive was really good and worked inside DS. I want all the passives to work in DS but they dont.
Signet of Undead was too good for pvp because it takes longer to finish off downed players in pvp. In pve people can get focused by mobs or hit my boss attacks and defeated much faster. It renders the signet almost useless in its current state. Heck even the warbanner is a gamble sometimes but atleast its a more reasonable one. Signet is just a complete waste of a slot in pve because 9/10 times they are going to die before you finish casting. They could split it in pve/pvp or just reduce the cast time and increase cooldown? If they increase cooldown I would like a larger radius or the ability to res 5 with it instead of 3.
You should have 93% crit damage. Atleast thats what I have. Full ascended though. People mentioned in another thread that strength of undeath is bugged so its not 5%, its flat power. Target the weak is always stronger (you can maintain 3 condis on your own + more) and seeing as you arent using DS to dps you need higher precision to boost your dps. Retal isnt gonna help much unless fighting trash in pve and in most situations you should be getting fury from teammates aswell. So perma fury is very easy to maintain.
Trust me, try that build out in a decent group with a warrior or two and you will see how good it is.
I wouldnt use strength. Only class thakittens good on is necro because of locust swarm and fast dagger auto. Frailty could be an option. I know when pugging and not doing things perfectly vuln falls off a bit. So i guess you could have some frailty runes to help keep group damage up.
The recipe for infinite posts on a forum. Is to draw out us zerkers to give advice and then have some others say we are wrong and provide bad advice. Arguements ensue and so on. You get the idea.
You could take battle on the sword and then have force/whatever on the offhands. Obviously spare offhand with bloodlust/perception. Thats what I would do if i was trying to completely optimize my mesmer.
Thats weird cause we had brie in second phase and they destroyed it (it teleported us out) and then it bugged. Had to wipe so we could start from phase 1 again.
How do you guys deal with alphard? Me and a buddy duo’d p2 today. We kited her round the boxes to melee her but they all got destroyed and then we had to faff around in the boat. Also how do you stop beserkers and kitten coming to destroy the console while waiting for slots to be sold?
Even before they nerfed the cast time it was too slow to save someone in most instances. Its slower than warrior banner by a whole second and banner has a larger radius and buffs aswell. I believe they nerfed signet of undeath because of pvp, but now its just a complete useless pve signet and no longer worth it in pvp aswell.
