We might not fight each other for a while with the leagues starting. Just saying

“SoR and/or BG may have recruited very well and are keeping their new recruits off until Leagues.”

Can almost guarantee you that this is the case. It works directly to the advantage of SoR and BG to cry a constant “JQ stacked/queues all day!” when we’re in the last stages of guild movement. It’s fine, and part of the game we’re all in. I could be completely wrong, but I have 20 galleons going on SoR coming out as a giant ‘underdog’ beast once leagues start.

Besides, couldn’t you also say that BG had recruited from T1 by getting TKG (before they moved back) and SoR recruited WARD? It’s not true, either case, but in terms of ‘one t1 recruiting from another’ this is hardly some new thing happening with MERC. Hell, look in the past and you’ll see constant movement within T1 from one to the other.

One factor you’re missing in why guilds move is overall guild happiness and health. This is one of the more important factors, and has to be taken into consideration. Money? Worthless. Waha fascination… awkward. To be on the winning side? Sure. But, don’t overlook a team wanting something different/better for their guild. We’re all here to have fun, and you need to look after your guild to make sure this is the case.

Overall, I wish every week was a match decided on Friday like last week. Where it could have easily gone either way with a lucky patch of bloodlust. We’re …. actually close to being there, if not there. Trust me when I say that nobody wants to have a constant 3 month winning period. I’ve been there; it’s boring and makes your players rusty. You want competition, and to log in every day and have to beat the ever living crap out of people. Not wake up Saturday morning and be ahead by 30k in T1. That is not what a server should be aiming for, and definitely not what JQ is aiming for. And let’s not take this week as an example, as I think BG is taking a much-needed break before leagues.

I think y’all are forgetting the 3rd monster in this equation. We have yet to see SoR at full-strength, so hold off calling JQ stacked for now, please :P

BG or JQ could both win, imo. SoR held back last week, it seemed, so we honestly won’t know what their real numbers look like until league starts. BG and JQ, what you see is what you get, numbers-wise and queue-time wise, and would both be good options going into league.

Yeah, it’s funny when people who aren’t in T1 and have never played in it whine and moan about queue times. I wouldn’t mind a 5-10 min queue most nights on all borderlands, as it’s a sign that people are out there and playing. The truth of the matter is that outside of the weekends, we have maybe 1 queued map, along with EB, and that’s during NA prime. Yet, you tell this to people and they go YOU’RE LYING, YOU HAVE 4 HOUR QUEUES ON EVERY MAP and you have to just laugh and be like… yeah, okay, sure I would assume that pejot is correct, however, and that we have so many different timezones to cover (early eu, eu prime, early na, na prime, late na, early ocx.. _) that it’s very spread out and hardly ever queued. At least on JQ anyway.

Had fun last night on BGBL. The lag was incredibly stupid, but the fights were great. BG had some sneaky sneaky siege set up in garry to hit the center, and it was fun figuring out the best way to balance bloodlust with holding objectives. Good stuff.

I haven’t tested it personally, but if it’s true this is one of the best parts about the update. You shouldn’t have been able to treb from there to begin with.

We have a troll spam dropping and building all sorts of useless siege.

I don’t know if this was him but don’t be surprised if you see obviously wrong siege placed (and unfortunately built by people not looking).

BG has a troll as well. Except our troll has a commander tag and follows our commanders around and drops paper ballistas at every moment that we stop moving or try to siege something.

Oh is THAT what that was? We saw some random ballistas on BGBL earlier, and were quite puzzled. They were kind of at the shore line near BG garry. We just shrugged and killed em.

One thing I’ve noticed about FA from a few weeks ago, is that you’re all much more willing to come out and fight, as opposed to putting 100000 arrow carts into towers and staying put. It’s a welcome change! Had a lot of fun rolling with SF and NS on FABL tonight. Shouts out to RET/APS, and GoF/icoa/PL….K? I forget for the fights. Those garrison fights tho… the amount of lag on that map was too dam high! I thought for sure SoR had portaled a TW 15 man group to the third floor or something.

Not upset! Just have too many numbers compared to FA and DB. It’s essentially the same problem TC faced for weeks. JQ and TC are relatively close in numbers (Tho they have more NA, and we have more SEA) so the T1 and T2 matches for both of us will end up pretty much the same unless we’re paired together. I personally am an FA NA member who plays on EB I can only describe Jade Bags and Dragonbags one way. Those two servers are like a baby’s butt; they are always getting wiped.

Bag Quarry would have sounded better.

There was an epic 20 or so minute complete and utter brawl with all 3 servers tonight on JQBL. It was a-ma-zing. We saw FA and TC eyeballing each other, all lined up and growling at each other. We decide… sure, why not, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. And fight we did.

I think everyone walked away a little banged up, but with many, many bags.

Cuddles defies servers. Besides, I think we planned her wedding to Shini one day last week. SHE’S FAMILY, MAN. Though, she should stay away from SF, we make her do terrible things >.>

TC, I think it would benefit you as a server if you looked into moving to a dual-tag kind of system. Maybe you do already, but I know I generally only see one big ol group. Have your main group off doing X, and your second group doing Y. It requires both groups to tighten up their play, as obviously you have less numbers, but you can get more accomplished than when you’re confined to one large group. You’re essentially hitting multiple objectives at once, and forcing the opposing team to choose which they wanna save. Pretty much being a pain in the butt.

This will help you a lot in the long run, and especially for when you’re finally playing BG and SoR.

Please don’t take this as a slight, or coming from somewhere mean-spirited. I think you guys are verrrrry close to kicking kitten in T1, it’s just things like this that would get you even closer. I understand that you probably don’t have to do this to win vs most servers, but try it out anyway. Hell, do it to us for practice!

Overall, I’m having fun fighting both TC and FA. It’s nice playing with people who are just in it to fight.

Big shout out to AGG for going to SoS. I’m sure you choices had more to do with about getting all of your players into a BL than anything…but congrats on making a logical choice of going to a lower Tier server and not bandwagoning(yet again) to a crappy Tier 1 server.

Wow, I haven’t laughed this hard in a LONG time. If you think AGG transferring to SOS will help them in any way PPT wise, you’re sorely mistaken. Their only focus is GVG and fights, they only move to lower tiers to work on their strat or for new guilds to GVG with.

At best, AGG might be able to distract zergs allowing other teams to sweep in and take a few towers, but that will only last as long as the forces they go up against are willing to fight them. If a map starts to avoid them or if they repeatedly get wiped, they will switch maps. Seen it time and time again.
