You can do any episode you want, it just won’t progress the story i that specific chapter if it isn’t the next story on your list. Just look for the purple stars on your map and you can enter the instances at those locations before finnishing episode 1 and 2.
Only have 13 different skins. I’m slacking too much.
Closing in on 700 pristine relics now, been stuck on 18/19 for about 8 months-ish now, still missing sword
Got a tonic though ^^
I fail to feel sorry for you
As long as the equipment isn’t soulbound you should be able to transfer it through the bank without trouble. I really doubt that they will give people special permissions to transfer gear to a new char just cause of the expansion.
I tried interacting with them. The only option I had was “Leave” (as in leave it alone). I guess they had planned to make a hard mode variant of it and didn’t have time or plan to come back to it later.
inb4: Hard mode dungeons confirmed.
Me and my guildies tried to finnish this achievement. But as soon as we passed past a certain line mobs spawned at caithes group farther ahead killing them instantly. We tried stealthing and it didn’t work. We tried to find a different way past the mobs but didn’t find any. Have anyone managed to finnish this achievement and how did you do?
Why u do dis Anet? I guess I will have to try this myself when I get back home.
Thanks, it clears up a few things.
Also how far into him should I move to push him in the case of him being pushed far away from what was intended. Like I’ve had a few times where I accidentaly pushed him far off to the right and when trying to make him move left he just moves even more to the right, getting awfully close to those doors. Also wondering how far I should move and when to move when pushing him into the wall.
Ello.
I’ve tried soloing lupi a few times and have tried pushing him to the wall. However I feel that the pushing can be rather weird at times and he moves around way more than intended while he is by the wall, and sometimes even walking the completely opposite direction of what I intend him to go. I also spoke to a guildie who had similair problems.
Does anyone have any tips for how to push lupi to the wall and then keeping him there?
You most likely have your hero’s panel open as “wardrobe”. Press the tab that says “Wardrobe” on the top left of the hero’s window. Then click “equipment” and you should be back to the normal display.
No you can’t see it anymore. That is a ground targeted spread shot skill for SB that was used in the early betas, it was later replaced with poison volley which is what you currently see in the game. If I remember correctly at least.
Thanks Miku, a good explanation. I will have to give it a few tries to see what I prefer.
So I have thought about soloing lupicus for a while now and thought it’s about time to get down to business by now. However I have heard a bit about wether to push him into the wall or not and some people say it is easier if you do so. But I don’t really get why you should do it.
What are the pros and cons of pushing lupicus into the wall compared to keeping him in the middle of the room?
So basicaly I am allowed to stack miht, fury, whatever before engaging but am not allowed to let someone else do it for me since then it would technicaly count as a duo kill? That would make sense.
Pre combat-stacking allowed, but only solo
I might be an idiot but what does this rule mean? Is it might-stacking or bloodlust or something else? And why is it only allowed in solo records?
Super adventure box
condition dmg/precision/condition duration. We need a zerk equivivalent condi spec
I believe I read somewhere that you will only keep the skins from the LATEST transmutation. So that would mean you wil get the T3 skin and whatever you had just before that.
Most thing seem to e covered already. But I would like to add the Mini Clockheart. Beware of pugs:P
Because they were added in the Total make over kit/Hair style kit so that you have to pay gems for it. Which imo is quite reasonable and one of the better things in the gemstore.
It was a while since I was there. But there is a quite nice event in south west of Brisban Wildlands. You will especially apriciate it if you played GW1.
Why? How would it work in this game? This would just be a free WP to LA and all dungeons have wp’s in them as well.
Have you checked you personal reward level? You will always get rewarded for the lowest of the personal and fractal reward level. So if you have reward level 5 and do a level 5 fractal yu will get your daily for 1-10 and raise you personal reward level to 6. If you then do a fractal level 14 you will get the daily reward for level 6 since that is your personal reward level. Thus that reward will also be in the 1-10 zone, you won’t get the daily chest but you will now be on personal reward level 7.
Here, take this.
Also, yes I really like how they have it properly scheduled for these bosses. I just hope there won’t be too many of them with such a spawn time since the risk of them being at the same time every time would make it really anoying.
1) This is a tough one:P I haven’t been able to be very active in these threads(partialy cause of this problem) and thus I am unaware of what exactly creates the problem(too many posts, too long posts, too many unconstructive posts, etc.).
Making a cap on the length of a post might work, however it can just as well just end up in people making 3 posts in a row to get that extra text.
“Forcing” people to make their posts as point by point posts without any longer arguments might work. However this could make it hard to make a proper discussion going and it might feel a bit stale. It can also make it hard to get the “proper” message out, having to make short arguments with few words to back them up.
I have had a thought about letting the thread being open for 2-3 days then having it closed for 1-2 days to let people catch up. This would also give the frequent posters time to make better posts, both shorter, more on topic and better arguments/wording. Before every short break a question(with good connection to the discussion had so far) could be posted for people to create the sub-topic of next open session.
2) And now the easier one.
I think that you should let the players say what they think would be good topics. Then, by either counting the votes or just getting a general understanding of what is the most popular topic, the devs, with the players opinions in mind, will choose the topic they think would be the best. I believe thath the devs have better understanding of which topics could create a constructive discussion and a chance of impacting the decisions made in development. Plus, this game and forums is under control of the devs and they should thus be the ones to make the final decisions, but with this being a collaborative development the opinions of the players should still be considered.

Tss. Wake up guys, Argos Soft is back
Ok, I can’t say that I am verry experienced with condi ranger though I did have my ranger cond speced ~a year ago(went over to pwer :P). However tihis is what I came up with after a few minutes of thought.
You want to go into the WS for extra cond dmg(+toughnees for rune of the undead). However the only condi focused traits are the trap traits in sirmishing and thus u want to max that out + you get some more precision. With 60% crit chance you will proc both sigil of earth and sharpened edges quite often with a potential of 3 bleeds on 1 hit.
You might wanna consider swaping the SB to giver’s stats with rune of agony to make your bleeds last 4 seconds rather than 3 which is almost a 33% damage buff on the auto attack(not counting the loss of sigil of earth).
If I remember correctly I used to run somthing slightly like this(not trap focused) and being able to stack up ~20 stacks of bleed on my own if I managed to get into the flank with QZ.

If you want to avoid detection of any bots or what else there is you can just transfer it over by a guild bank. Let your friend deposit the money and take it out yourself.

If you want to find some nice guides/builds you should check out http://intothemists.com/. It is a great site for both finding guides and making your own builds.
You have to make sure that the required level for the armor is above the required level of the rune. So you’re personal level won’t make any difference, you have to buy higher level gear.
nope, you can’t salvage karma gear.
You can however buy orrian jewlery boxes, or possibly buy karma gear and shove it into the forge for a chance at rares or sellable greens.
Hello, people!
Brothers of Aesir [BoA] is a small PvX Guild based on the EU Server, Desolation. We are not the largest of guilds (40 members), however we have a regular and active group of members in a relaxed and chilled environment.
We have fingers in every pie in regards to aspects of the game, however most of our attention is currently on the PvE side with dungeons/fractals and world bosses. We have strong intentions of making a name for ourselves in World Vs World and have also recently gained a number of members who thoroughly enjoy sPvP so are growing a little more there too.
We are currently looking to expand our numbers with friendly, active people who can contribute towards improving the guild in every aspect. We want players who are chill and enjoyable to be around as well as helpful.
Below is a general summary of what we do on a regular basis:
Weekly Guild Mission Events
Weekly Guild Lottery
Any/All Dungeons/Fractals
Dabbling in WvW
Teamspeak 3 (lotsa banter)
Celebrations (Legendary Parties, Birthdays etc etc)

you can also put it up for vendor price. This will avoid the 5% fee by driving it down to half a silver or so. but it will still be sold to the highest buyer.
They said they had problems implementing that. But I don’t really see how hard it is to place a vendor who sells the new skins at the cost of the old weapons.
So, with every new LS I usually change the wallpaper on my computer to the one being released on the release info page. When I first saw the small teaser picture last week I thought that we could get a pretty cool wallpaper for this patch. But when I scrolled to the bottom of the page there was no wallpaper there. Where is it? I want it!
(I worst case senario I’ll have to take the one from the queen’s speech since I used the one for clockwork chaos instead that week.)
I think where the failure is lies in the rewards. You don’t get nowhere near enough rewards for doing DEs compared to other things, because karma is not very useful. Also, doing something extremely short and simple like killing a champion gives the same if not more rewards than a long DE like escorting someone, so no one does the escorts.
We agree, this is something we’ve been discussing a lot lately and working on some various answers for, but I’m curious:
What rewards would you like to see from rewards? Would they be different when you’re leveling up than when you’re level 80? What would motivate you to want to go around the world playing as many different events as possible, rather than the same 4-5 over and over again?
Some of the fun challenges we are currently solving, but it’s great to hear peoples thoughts on this subject as well.
I can’t really take credits for this idea since I’ve heard it in a few different places and somebody might have writen it out already.(so many posts, so lazy me)
But I think it would be a great idea to make the reward for an event increase the longer it has remained unfinished. This would be similar to the bonus xp you get from mobs that haven’t been killed in a while. It would encourage players to explore the world and see new events. It would also make the player excited when ever they see an event pop up, “Will I get a big kitten reward for this?” since they obvously can’t know hw long it has been since the last play through that event.
THAT’S where all the bad blood surrounding that event comes from.
Simple greed.
And that’s the game’s fault. If it really were more about content than the reward, I’m sure feedback in general would be a lot more positive.Ummm…no. That might be true for some people, maybe even a lot of people, but not for all people.
What upset me about the event is that I missed it, and couldn’t get a clear answer on just what the hell had happened during it. All I got (at the time, mind you) was a confused mess of answers that had me feeling very left out. Did I want the reward? Well, sure, but “missed reward” was hardly on my radar at the time. I wanted the story, I wanted to see what everyone else had seen. There’s always another chance at a reward from something else, but I was to NEVER get to be in that part of the story, and that sucked.
This is why we need a better mechanism to re-tell the story of missed LS events. I had suggested either in an in-game or out of game Lore Book that details not only the history of LS, but of Guild Wars as well. This will also help players who never played GW1 understand the original lore.
But this story telling can’t simply be one paragraph for each LS. I don’t want to see one paragraph introduce roxx during flame and frost and then explain what happened in a few short sentences within the paragraph. The explanation must be drawn out enough so that nothing is left to the imagination, other than trying to recreate the story in my mind from the words written by Arenanet.
Bobbystein, what do you think of this?
It’s a great idea that’s very similar to the ones that we’ve been discussing internally for months now. Here’s the catch: we’re limited in how much room we have to display text inside a UI element, unless we want to allow scrolling. Also, the more words we put in there the less likely most players will read it to the end, and the more expensive it will be to localize once we scale up the feature to include all Living World releases (and whatever other content we decide to reference with it). We have to find that sweet spot where players get the information they need while also conforming to our technical and budgetary constraints. That’s not always easy.
So while I think it’s entirely possible that we can implement such a feature we are limited in how much historical text we can display. But if players are able to “fill in the gaps” somehow, then I think they’ll get what they need out of it. I wish I could say more because I think our current designs are pretty exciting, but we’re just not ready to discuss them in detail just yet.
Regarding GW1 lore in the game, I think it’d be really compelling to have in-game books or some other delivery device to allow players to immerse themselves in Tyria’s history.
Well I just read this and an idea came to mind.
The ways of delivering said story that I know of would be:
NPC Dialogue: really small and requires pressing “Next” button to contain a whole text.
Chat/Voice video: Both require voice actors which to my understanding is rather expensive. And if you miss something it’s hard to get back to that small tiny part.
Mail: Can contain long walls of text but there is currently no way of making people get them unless you want to through it out to every player in the game.
My thought would be to implement a archive/history NPC in all mayor cities or at least LA. When talking to this NPC you will get options in the Dialogue for things such as story arcs, characters, places etc. By clicking i.e. Characters and then Rox the NPC would ask you if you want more information about Rox and upon pressing “Yes” you will be delivered a mail with some overall information about her which you can read at your own pace.
This is probably not the optional way of solving it. But maybe something similair where you can get an option to have an informatic mail sent to you about previous living story.
Our guild usually split into 2 parties and take one target each. If feel to few for that you can start with letting all but 2-3 people go for one target while the 2-3 others go search for the next one. Killing one targets takes less than half the time you have in total so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem unless you really can’t find the target.
Also in case you didn’t know: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/27/gw2-guild-bounty-guide/
On a serious note though I don’t know:( Haven’t played much inquisition.
Well he is a Descendant Of God, so I guess that explains it.
1. Dungeon exploits/skiping
2. Condition cap
3. “Hardcore” vs. “casual” content
This happens all the time with my minis: Liadri, Flame shaman. It’s nothing exclusive to Tequatl.
It givs as much dragonite ore as the dragons, which is way more than things like maw and fire ele. That is the reason I do him. If it had not been for the T7 mat I would have left all world bosses alone.
I want the emotes that have an emote command, but no animation, e.g. /roar
If I understand what you mean I belive that such a thing is already in the game. Just type /me xxxxxxx and it will show up in the chatlog.
What server/region are you on?
