Just got mail. Thank you very much! You rock!
EDIT: Ummm, this looks like a simple Black Lion Chest which has little to do with the contents of Tixx’ present. Is that intentional?
Those are for a different issue. Glad you got your chest!

They’re rare, but they do exist. Fleshreavers are part of the “demon” family affected by the potion.
Talk to Bjarni in Wayfarer Foothills, I’m sure he can enlighten you on the power of Bunny.
It’s set up so that if you allow yourself to die, and respawn, it will place you across the bridge. If you really want to complete the bridge puzzle, you can use downed skill 4 (“Bandage”) to revive yourself and you’ll be back at the start.
Again, I really need specifics. I’ve never into this issue on the live server, or while testing, so I’d need to look at the exact spawn to see if anything odd is going on.
Which map and server? The event name alone isn’t enough for me to be able to look at it, sorry.
We do not have a means of knowing the details of this situation. The account holder left his account in a vulnerable position and is asking us to restore an account that may or may not have been accessed by someone else. As pointed out above, such requests have also come from those who purchase keys, open chests, then claim a “Hack” and ask for a restoration so they can try the keys again for better loot. I do not believe that is what happened here, but our team must adopt and act within policies that apply to the community as a whole, and there is no way we can ever tell what happened, except that the “hack” cannot be verified through any means at our disposal.
Whether you intended to or not, you did indeed share your account, through access to the account data, whether a saved password or one that, you readily admit, was easily guessed.
I am very sorry for what happened but we will not be able to remedy this situation. Obviously, you should change your password and ensure that no one has access to your computer again, if there is any way that doing so also gives them access to your game account.
Lastly, I changed the title of this thread, since i feel it was unfair, inflammatory, and inappropriate. Direct your “outrage” at the person who wronged you, not as Support Team members who are acting responsibly and in the best interests of the game as a whole.

The heart regions in each area are intended to let you know what’s going on in that part of the world. Talk to the NPCs, there’s a ton of hidden lore out there.
Unfortunately, that’s all I know right now. It’s on the to-do list, it’s being actively worked on, and will be added at some point. I don’t know when, and I don’t know how it will work across regions, or if there will be additional restrictions.
A fix is in the works (it’s in testing now) but I don’t have an ETA for when it will hit the live servers.
Just checked, the Inquest in that area are on a shorter respawn timer (30-60s) but there’s nothing that respawns in 10s. I checked all of the troll spawns in Hezran Outcrops, and they’re using the 95-120s respawn timer, so my above comment applies. (Could another player have run through and killed them before you got there, so they respawned after you go there? Could trolls in a different area have been killed, so when they respawned and randomly picked a new position, they ended up appearing near you?) I couldn’t find anything that respawns in 10-30s, and nothing forces them to respawn.
Hi josipva – I’d like to collect a Game Advisor report so I can look into why you might be experiencing this issue. You can download the Game Advisor application at the link below:
http://us.ncsoft.com/gameadvisor/
Please note that you will be automatically prompted to install Game Advisor upon clicking the link. Once you’ve generated the report, you can attach it to this thread by clicking “More posting & formatting options…”
Hi there AvengerUK – What’s your ticket number?
Under options, you can turn on “Show skill recharge” which will put a numeric timer on your skills.
Pvp/WvW/guilds et al are all outside the area I deal with (I’m primarily a story content designer) so I can’t really provide any reasonable answers, sorry!

Hi HellKrasher – One thing you could try is typing in “mouse” in your search bar, click the mouse icon in the Control Panel, and once there disable “Pointer Trails.”
Hope this helps!
A couple of members of the Holiday Team were interviewed on the MMORPG.com livestream yesterday, and they addressed this question there. Whether to have one-time events will depend on what that particular team decides for that content update. The goal for Wintersday was to make it a little bit more relaxed, and so it takes place for an extended period of time with content that is accessible after the scheduled airship stops. This time of year is very busy for many people who want to spend time with their families for the holidays and many people also take vacations during the holidays. The way the Wintersday event was designed fits better with these considerations in mind.

The same rewards are offered, but the choice of which reward you pick is different for each player.
Guesting is still in the works, but I don’t have an ETA, and I don’t want to give any additional details when it isn’t implemented yet. It has not been forgotten, though!
The default respawn rate is 95-120 seconds, so if you’re seeing locations where they respawn much faster, please report it with specific info! Event creatures will often appear more quickly (so the event doesn’t look dead if players kill them immediately) and if players were killing things in the same area, they might respawn near you. (i.e. if a group ran through and cleared an area a minute ago, a lone player might be in the area when their respawn timer comes up.)
There’s a display bug that adds together PvP and PvE runes when it displays the tooltip.
We’re always reading the forums, even if we don’t have the time to respond.
Chap (Jonathan Sharp) and I play every profession in PvP. We have multiple of each profession type and play each of them regularly. My necromancers do have several hundred games since launch.
Hey everyone,
As Jeff has stated, this is not a bug – if you have further thoughts or comments about farming and loot, then feel free to post in the GW2 Discussion forum. This thread will now be closed.

At this point, there’s nothing I can personally do. You might open a support ticket, but this isn’t an issue I’ve ever heard of, so I’m not sure what they can do. Sorry!
Hi Alex and X The Manimal – I’d like for you guys to first browse to Documents\Guild Wars 2 and delete the local.dat file. Once you’ve done this, try repairing the game client. To do this, please try the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end.
Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” to start the repair process.
Once completed, please try starting Guild Wars 2 again.
Dictator Tot – Your issue may be a little different. I noticed you don’t have any video card drivers installed which could certainly cause the issue that you’re experiencing. You’ll definitely want to locate the latest drivers for your card and try the installation again.
Sorry, I don’t want this thread to get sidetracked. I don’t normally deal with loot tables/item drops, I just remembered the barracuda coming up when we were investigatating some RMT bots. Like I said, we never intended for summoned critters to drop loot, so it was a bug.
If you guys are still experiencing this issue, the best way for us to collect information to determine whether or not this is an issue with the client is if you submit a ticket to our Technical Support department for further assistance.
As it stands we’ve received very few reports regarding this particular problem and so the more information that we can collect the more this will assist us in further investigating this issue.

Hi Signaling Fire – From the symptoms that you’ve described and after looking at your system specs, this appears to be a result of your processor and onboard Intel chipset not meeting the minimum requirements to play.
I’m unable to see the driver date for your Intel card, though I would recommend updating to the latest Intel video drivers to see if this has any affect on the issue. I have provided a link to Intel’s Driver Update Utility which should locate the latest drivers for your system for you:
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
Please understand, however, that ultimately this issue may not be resolved due to your system not meeting the minimum requirements.
Like Snowball Mayhem and the Bell Choir, the Toypocalypse is an activity. They are using the same systems, and these systems do not permit joining by party. Unfortunately due to technical limitations and time constraints before the holidays, we cannot change it. We understand that this is not ideal for people who wish to play in the same party and who are finding it difficult in random groups. We will be adjusting the “Toypocalypse Cancelled” achievement so that you will need to keep only one gift dolyak alive. We do not have an ETA on when this change will be live. Thank you for your feedback. We have been listening, and we will take your comments on board for future game updates.

You have to use the previous manual first. You can’t use the 60 manual if you never used the 40 manual.
Hi Rezz – Thanks for the Game Advisor report! There seems to be some issues with the Nvidia 310.70 drivers and some players have had to rollback to previous versions in order to correct this issue.
Two things I did notice other than this: You do appear to be missing Service Pack 1. I would highly recommend installing this update. You can do so by clicking the “Start” button and typing “Windows Update” into the search field and installing all critical updates for Windows 7.
Aside from that it’s possible that your video card drivers may also be corrupt and so I’d recommend a clean installation of your video card drivers. If these suggestions don’t resolve the issue for you let me know and we can move on to the next step.
Oh no – I’m sorry to hear that. That’s really odd. Are you connected to a router by chance? If so, do you encounter this issue if you bypass the router and connect directly to the modem?
You just need to tag the mob from what I’ve experienced, Lettucemode.
Zoke, we’d like to be able to include things like internal cooldowns within tooltips at some point in the future.
I occasionally get a bug where I can’t target any enemies with the mouse (but using the keyboard for targeting still works). It’s not a bug that happens a lot, and a relog usually fixes it. Also I don’t use the mouse to target very often so there’s probably times that I have the bug and don’t even notice it. It’s possible that this bug is responsible for some people not being able to target the portals/behemoth.
Good point; I could see that being the case. So, for clarification, we are aware of the bug where you can become unable to mouse-click targets, and it is a separate bug.

Hi rho is war – Unfortunately there isn’t really an “official” fix as various resolutions have come about in regards to this issue, however, the location of your local.dat file is by default Documents\Guild Wars 2. So wherever your “My Documents” folder is located, you should see a Guild Wars 2 folder within it, and there should be the local.dat file.
Hi Knurlgrim – First, I would recommend resetting any browser settings that you have for whatever browser you’re using. If that doesn’t work, I would like for you to delete the Guild Wars 2 folder located within your users library folder. You can do this by following the instructions below.
1 Click on the “Finder” icon located in your dock or the desktop of your computer to make “Finder” the active program in the finder menu bar.
2 Hold down the “Option” key on your keyboard while clicking “Go” in the finder menu bar. A dropdown will appear.
3 While still holding down the “Option” key, click on “Library” in the “Go” dropdown.
4 Once in the Library folder click on Application Support > Guild Wars 2
5 Move the entire Guild Wars 2 folder to the trash and then empty the trash.
The next time you launch Guild Wars 2 it will recreate the recently deleted folder.
Please launch Guild Wars 2 and see if you are able to log in and play without issues.
Additionally, there is a GW2 Beta Mac Forums as well. Just a heads up as you may receive suggestions much more quickly there!
Summoned creatures (like the additional barracuda) were not intended to have loot. It was considered a bug that was fixed recently.
Oops, I was mistaken. It’s once, period, per account. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi mickers – I’d like for you to try clearing your DNS cache. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Windows key and press the R key. This should bring up the “Run” dialogue box.
2. In that box, type “cmd” without the quotes, and click the “OK” button. A DOS window should open.
3. Enter the following command below and press enter: ipconfig /flushdns
This should clear your DNS cache. You may need to perform this command a few times.
Have you used “deposit all collectibles”? As with other minipets, if it’s not in an invisible bag it will be sent to your bank’s collectibles tab if you deposit all.

I just hopped on my own character on Live, went to LA (an overflow, of course) and was able to get the item. So we’re still investigating!
As an FYI: Parasitic Bond now has a 5 second internal cooldown along with its increased healing potential. We’ll put that in the description in the future.
While it looks like the events chaining to Shadow Behemoth got fixed on some servers, we found some additional points that are stopping it from spawning on others that we’ll be working on.
On that note, we haven’t been able to duplicate the issue with portals/the Shadow Behemoth being untargetable. It is intended that the Shadow Behemoth is only targetable after the portals are destroyed during the event. I don’t know if that’ll help explain some of the weirdness that’s being described, but we aren’t seeing the same problem on our end.
If you continue to see the portals/behemoth as untargetable when he does spawn, please provide additional information, such as your profession, server, etc. so we can investigate further. Thank you!

We’ll be doing RANKING ladders in the future. The QP system is used for tournament entry. I’ll talk more about how these systems work together when the new system is ready to be brought on line!
I’m glad to get a response. Perhaps I overlooked these details somewhere. Looking forward to the ranked matches though.
No prob. The new system will use rating/matchmaking. The Qualifying Points will still exist, but they’re different systems for different needs. QP shows some skill (it’s not easy to win a paid tourney if there are other good teams), but at the same time, it’s not a true rating/ranking system (as many of you on the forums have stated).
We know this. It’s not intended to replace a rating system. Both can exist in the same world.
