It’s putting stress on their servers to catch problems.
If I’m soloing a champ and somebody else shows up, thank Baelfire, I hate killing big things alone. Please, jump in. If I see you coming and it’s almost dead, I’ll even kite because you probably need it too, in fact, I’ve called out that it’s up already and I’m killing it because sometimes getting those champs is difficult and I want people to know to come to it. Why would I be selfish enough to want a champ’s loot to myself? It’s not like there’s some bonus for soloing it.
Hell, I had to kill the demagogue for a collection recently and was happy when people showed up, even though I got it half-dead solo.
Came to offer my heartfelt thanks for your dedication to this project, and thanks for all you do.
The only reason the event fails often is because it seems nobody is aware of the Enrage that happens once 1 of them dies.
You have to kill them both at the same time to ensure a smooth run, if you quickly go ’’solo’’ 1 side you’re gutting over the other side as their Wyvern will enrage, reducing incoming damage and increases outgoing damage.
Quoting this cause it’s true. Every smooth kill has been with two balanced zergs communicating constantly and backing off the one that burns faster until a near simultaneous kill is achievable. It’s like a watered-down octovine or triple wurm, only a lot more forgiving.
This whole chain of events is hilarious:
Players: “Leather prices are too low!”
Anet: “We’ve dramatically increased the need for leather in everything.”
Players: “Leather prices are too high!”
Anet: “We’ve added a leather farm.”
Players: “Nobody farms the leather farm!”
Players: “…PEOPLE ARE FARMING THE LEATHER FARM!!!1!!1!”
If we want to get technical, people were farming the leather farm, now they’re not. A leather farm goes up to the High Sage. This is a bag farm. Not to mention that it makes defending any of the three areas pretty hard, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a defense succeed even on a full map. Guess it’ll only be a matter of time until we see Jennah assassinated and White Mantle ruling Kryta.
I managed to do this last night after 5hrs and 300 lives. Difficult and excessive, in my opinion, for a basic achievement. While I will admit that it was mildly amusing, tribulation should remain in its own category and not sneak into the others.
Oh hell, no, charr and asura are the only races that get good armor and outfits for BOTH genders.
NO. MORE. DRESSES. The wedding outfit is p much unusable for like all my female characters (makes sense on exactly one of my 23 females, AMAZING on dudes for every race).
So, as a counterpoint, anet, think more of us girls who would like more fancy dress outfits with suits for girls. Or, in a louder voice, MORE. SUITS. FOR. FEMALES.
Yeah, I’d prefer to be able to switch them. Raz would love to wear a dress. And many of my girls would prefer suits.
Man, did people raise this big of a ruckus about the severed bleeding wurm head mini that flops after you?
Well, I won’t be expecting asura or charr to sprout beards any time soon, but maybe the other races will one day be able to grow something akin to beards. In the meantime, have you considered playing more norn characters?
Gixx has a beard, though. So asura definitely can beard.
I absolutely love map completion (I accidentally the whole thing six times) and would be sad if i could not map complete. :<
Maybe an item that could grant you what you wish, at the cost of sacrificing map rewards, including gifts of exploration.
Judging by the description of the HP, I’d hedge a guess that it’s the golem one. Which admittedly is a pita, but it would be a pita anywhere else too, because of the golems. I don’t think it’s technically in the falls, though.
nothing in the tos about “dont leave your minionmancer afk with autoattack on num 4 where mobs spawn”
No, but you are linked up there to a post were one of anet’s staff said you would get actioned for exactly that.
I think it falls under exploits, which happen to be against the ToS.
I’m just gonna come here to say….the ‘chicken’ and ‘corn’ riddles are the same one. It just has two different answers.
The story is incredibly important. It’s the driving force behind playing. Not only following the main story, but making stories for each of my characters.
To be fair, when MM was a thing, it was nigh-impossible to find a meta map sometimes because people had entry fees for squads.
To reiterate: Entry fees for their MM squads.
I don’t want to pay your lazy bum to get onto a meta map, swindlers. Seen people charge anywhere from two to ten gold for a place in their squad and that…that’s just stupid. Maybe now that all the toxicity around multimap has gone away, AB meta will be enjoyable again.
God, you never saw “SW VW 10g entry fee plz”
Or “Teq Taxi plz pay 5g”
Or if you did, it was hella rare.
We want RP in gw2, with its world, lore, races, and community. That’s like saying if you want PvP, to go play LoL.
I, too, support more ways to sit, especially in chairs.
As someone who understands that snow is a thing, and weather has been around forever:
Anet, you do you, we look forward to your work.
We’ll avenge ourselves by slaying every minion of Jormag for daring to interrupt you.
I like them. They rank pretty far above humans and norn imo.
For generations they had exactly zero predators and grew complacent, and now that they have predators they aren’t going to lay down and die, they’re adapting and learning from races who generally had nothing better to do except try to creatively murder everything around them. (ie, every other race in the game).
And hey, there’s a dragon, no problem, Quaggans are ready to fight that, too. They may not be strong, but now many Norn are out swimming to patrol for Tequatl?
(Useless Norn…)
I liked the SAB. I don’t get why people are whining so much about it. It’s amusing and a neat little distraction.
I mean, I loathe PvP and the absolute toxicity of that entire community, but I don’t complain when they release a new PvP map or skins or minis. They could have used all that wasted time developing things I like instead of things other people like! How dare they cater to other players! [insert heaps of salt here]
I wouldn’t mind seeing SAB finished. I’d squeak like a little quaggan and run around it for years (or what little time we do get).
Striders medium, I know a guy who’d probably give you a kidney for it (not his own, no questions here)
All I ask if outfits continue is to make outfits have at least a dozen or so more dye channels and the ability to swap out the outfit’kitten
And a reverse version of the noble counts/wedding sets.
Can we extend this for other toy items like instruments and travel toys, as well?
Yeah, I’ll add my support to the play as you like section being useless. If I was trying to free play bells anyway, I’d certainly be doing it for longer than the allotted time.
I’ve always thought of quaggans as more of amphibians than mammals. They seem to have closer traits.
Personally, I think it’s a bit of an insult to Eir’s legend.
Imagine Eir watching him from the mists.
“I fought two dragons, succeeded on the second, got killed going against a third, and did my best to keep my friends together the whole time in the true manner of the spirit of Wolf, and you’re charging in blindly and trying to get your friends killed? Is that how you’re honoring my legend? With divisiveness? Did Raven bless you with the wit and cleverness of a paper towel?”
To be honest, I never much saw the problem. But then, the coats just made sense on all the medium characters imo. If anything, I’d like seeing more of them in the other weights.
(And I am one of the crowd that is why skirts happen—I want human dudes to have more heavy pants resembling dresses. Not skirts, dresses. Give me some length. Carapace is literally the best. Can’t say everyone wants something when clearly ‘everyone’ is just a fraction of a whole. Much like the wedding outfit is absolutely abominable on a female charr. No respectable legions soldier would get married in that bit of human froppery and ribbons)
That’s because it is spelled Asgeir.
Same issue. I’ve tried remaking the shrine while completing the heart and they still do not appreciate my hard work. On top of that, suet doesn’t want to drop on alts.
Same issue here, too. Killed the beast 4-5 times, still no credit for 5min. Everyone else I ran with seemed to get it however, as they started.
female charr druid, same issue. Achievement completions also not counting.

Also the last mission is bugged and while the mechanic for this fight is common for me from ESO’s Ruins of Mazzatun and probably from many other places, actually while the boss was hitting the stones nothing happened, but when he passed nearby them it counts like they have been hit and broken. Fix this one as well possibly
Run the boss over the minions to break the stones, not the stones themselves.

I’ve so far found it to be unfinishable.
In the last instance, we’ve killed the beast a good four times. Client crashes right after Rox finishes talking. Every time. Right at that point.
The map’s real nice, and the first couple of instances were pretty cool. I’m liking the new minis and adore the new legendary shield. I have faith that the inability to get the home instance nodes will be corrected. I also have faith in my newfound urge to exterminate a certain norn.
I’ll weigh in and say I’d rather the bag than the booster or random xyz express. ToT bags have the chance to contain something I’d like. Boosters sit and gather dust, and have no value. I’d go into a chest knowing I’d only receive two items previously. Now I can get up to four.
People who know things say the mini is an account-bound drop from the ToT bags.
But this thread is about the home instance cat (I believe of the same name), obtained via the enchanted broom.
I think it’s supply/demand on how many players are putting gems up vs how many people are buying gems through the exchange.
Aka, it’s controlled by us.
I support people just making special tabs for things. And anet fixing the distance on emotes. If I have to make a tab to filter out everyone spamming their guilds in map chat, you can do the same.
The only real problem is ERP. Ya wouldn’t do it on the bus, don’t do it in public in-game either.
(Or maybe you would do it on the bus, but that’s a bit weird.)
If we’re gonna be sad about the golems, let’s not forget Mr. Sparkles. Nobody mentions him much.
Let them, then. Would be better than yellow standard for undies, it makes it look like I’m bad at doing laundry.
I mean at least asura get some more fun colored undies, but then, they’re geniuses. They probably had this figured out long before you bookahs.
I liked Trahearne. And being forced to attend a funeral for Eir and pretend to be all soppy about her and him getting barely a passing mention? Quite a bit insulting. The Court probably did more to mourn their Grand Duchess than we could give the First of the Firstborn, Marshal of the Pact and Cleanser of Orr.
Tbh, I wish we could choose to either attend a memorial for Eir or one for Trahearne.
(I’d totally go to a memorial for Faolain if I could, though, tbh.)
Speak for yourself, I for one want more mini games, the more repeatable content there is in the game the better. Not everything has to be about combat.
Then Anet can give you the minigames you desire, however, I’d rather not have my masteries locked behind your weird time-gated jps and FPS games. That’s the point here. There’s not enough point in the game to complete the base 161, and collections are gated behind it.
I mean, I kinda want the mini gerent, but I’ll never get it. Ever. No chance. Not with it gated by Haywire and Scrap rifle. You know, things that really have nothing to do with the gerent at all and makes no sense to gate the mini.
And let’s not talk about the fallen masks gating one of the legendary collections. Or that you need all the masteries to make a legendary, which means you are forced to do the minigames.
Nobody is saying to take them out or not add more, just to kinda not push them on 100% unrelated stuff.
Reading glasses, please!
Go with the male look for those two, hell, for that matter, take some of the skimp that is given to human females and give it to male norn.
And I’ll agree with toggling between male/female skins. That way people who don’t want any actual practical armor coverage for their female toons can get filled with the arrows of a thousand bandits, and those who do want practical coverage can…well, dress sensibly enough to fight a dragon.
I also have a large amount of tonics and i approve this notion. Maybe with other sorts of toys as well.

I’ll agree that it needs a different tab at least, even if it doesn’t get 10man functionality yet. It’s difficult to find meta events when there are 29 people listing their entire resume in Open World.
Do things that earn exp in the HoT maps. Once your exp bar fills up, click on it, and you’ll be able to spend a mastery point to unlock gliding (which you should have got doing the first bit of story).
As for why there’s no heart tasks, probably because this isn’t a really good place for them. Instead, there’s adventures.
Personally…Faolain deserved better. It’s made this story very painful to do. Trehearne will be remembered as a hero, but I doubt many will notice that the Court was fighting alongside them. I hope Chrysanthea keeps up her promise to do this more often and have the Court join against the next Dragon.
I actually did notice that, and liked the level of complexity it brought. Makes me wonder what will happen should Kralkatorrik prove to be the next ED we fight. Will we suddenly find ourselves aligned with the Flame Legion?
Perhaps with his new powers, Rytlock will be on his way to being the next Khan Ur. The Flame Legion respect powerful magic, after all.

Caithe never explains what she was doing with the egg.
Caithe was taking it exactly where we took it. She was on a rather sudden wyld hunt urging her, at all costs, to get the egg to Tarir. Once it reached Tarir, her hunt ended.
Caithe is distrustful, for very good reasons. I can understand her not wanting to tell us. Especially considering that she already knew Sylvari were mordrem.
