Fastest way to level? Play the game the way it was intended and enjoy the journey! (personal story optional) Since practically every act you engage in gives you experience points I normally say to new players to wander around the map they are on collecting the POI’s, WPs and of course seeing the Vistas. And then of course there is the completion of hearts, of engaging in combat with NPCs, taking part in events … the usual; to say nothing of interaction with other players along the way.
I can only imagine that when the designers came up with the format for Guild Wars 2 that they did not expect or reasonably allow for people who had no patience whatsoever and who wanted instant gratification without seemingly working for it. I’m an old gamer (started in 1981) and for me the point of the game was playing it to the end if at all possible and coming out of it richer for the experience.
In my opinion, working for it makes the gratification and sense of worth so much better because you know you worked hard for it – but then people who have instant gratification seldom give a thought to all of the effort that those who have taken the ‘slow path’ have taken to obtain their status, their rank and all that is associated with them.
Ach, the pain the pain! I’ll watch for that.
Anxious and excited, eh? I’m more surly and waiting for something to leap out at me that has more teeth than the entire Osmond family. Guild Wars 3, if it was to come to pass would more than likely be a completely new game set further into the present timeline because that makes sense. Now without my knowing for sure and only applying logical observation here, its clear to me that ArenaNET has a timeline that they intend to play out with key events, situations and locations which they will release as they see fit to keep the story rolling.
Now I have played Guild Wars 2 since 2012 and generally have loved it. I’ve purchased both expansions and although I love the ability to fly I really did not care at all for the jungle or the cities of gold because ultimately it was slog over fun and I game in order to have fun. I am by that definition hoping that the truly massive area which the Crystal Desert covers will feature much more dynamic gameplay … and that unlike the Maguuma Jungle I do not spend 80% of my time running away from things that are way too vicious for words and just one massive waste-of-time (in combat) after another.
Commander, eh? Well, I cannot speak for you but me – I’m in charge and if they don’t like it they can file a complaint with the officers in charge of whatever military they are attached too. You see, there is a chain of command and I’m holding it. Perhaps the complaining parties would all like the rank of Admiral or Field Marshal instead?
I’ve noticed a lot of late that the Hidden Depths Waypoint in the Silverwastes is marked as CONTESTED during events and this makes it very hard to really enjoy the event because, obviously, every time I or anyone else gets eliminated by the phantom hounds running in the maze its a minute or so run back at full speed – then use of the skritt tunnel, another run across the sands and back into the labyrinth once more.
It never used to be contested all the time – so what’s the deal here, ArenaNET? Its become so bad that I really don’t bother doing the event anymore due to the amount of messing around involved in getting back when dead.
Well, some people get off with fighting, some with crafting – me, I ‘’get off’’ on collecting and then selling in bulk (puts little finger to edge of mouth)
Firstly, why do all of the Tengu sound like George Takei and secondly if and when the Tengu are re-introduced we have three points where they can be interacted with – I am referring of course to entrances/exits to their territory in Lion’s Arch; in a coastal village (where the wizards castle floats) and of course in the jungle lands of the Sylvari. The Tengu seem enlightened, somewhat militaristic in their manner and open to contact only on their terms and thus are isolationists. I would imagine a avian species would have high places with homes set far above the ground – would be protective of their eggs (young) and distrust anything which was not naturally flight capable.
And given the average Tyrian is essentially a psychopath – whether intentionally or by cause of environment – they have reason to suspect and be cautious of outsiders. If I was Tengu, I would not trust anyone – especially those maniacs in Lion’s Arch. If anything the Tengu have the potential to be invaders – we know nothing of their military capabilities; we know nothing of their culture (beyond the lore). Whose to say Tyria is not about to be the scene of a massive all-powerful all-out Tengu invasion!
I would welcome anyone’s comments on the above plus any ideas they may themselves have which can be considered by the developers – this isn’t anything official, just my two cents worth, so to speak.
In my case, LOYALTY to a company that has consistently given me hundreds of hours of excellent and compelling gaming since 2012. I have many games and have been gaming (professionally) since the first 8-bit machines in 1981 but Guild Wars 2 is by far one of the best games I’ve played in the last thirty years. That’s why I purchased the second expansion.
I would like to propose ‘improvements’ to the way Guild Wars 2 handles materials collection and depositing – more so, the depositing side of things. I spend a lot of my time on expeditions collecting materials and invariably have to engage in combat. That generates trophy items which frankly are junk and we all know it … yet I am expected to carry about said junk items in my inventory taking up valuable room until I can reach a vendor who I can utilize to get rid of them – the SELL JUNK button.
So I propose a JUNK button option from within the inventory itself, so we are no longer encumbered by garbage that is worth a few bronze at most but which is taking up valuable space in the inventory. Could we remote-sell it while still in the field? Or if that is deemed too simple a solution, have it so that on demand (selection of the JUNK button in inventory itself) the junk items are automatically shunted to a special ‘bin’ in our bank (much like crafting materials are) where they can be imported back into regular inventory when the user chooses (and when sufficiently large amounts have been generated) so that all that ‘’small change’’ becomes BIG money!!
The second ’’improvement’’ would be in regards to the transferring of materials from the crafting section storage in the bank to regular inventory with emphasis on the user being able to mass select a lot of items at once simply by hovering the mouse over them and then click-selecting, de-selecting and then transferring the selected items en-masse. I find it both time wasting and incredibly irritating to have to click-select-move (whether by auto-move or drag) individual items as it reduces my efficiency. Of course if the number selected exceeds the number which can be successfully transferred the game says so and moves only what it can move and then leaves the balance unmoved.
The third ’’improvement’’ is in regards to items in the crafting materials inventory (with emphasis on ‘account bound’ items, which can be selected but not sold on via the black lion trading system. Can you reorganize the materials so that we can determine what can be sold and what cannot because it is account-bound? Perhaps a line around the box denoting its account bound status so people like me do not select it, move it to regular inventory and then wonder why my inventory if full of items that I cannot sell and have to use because of that account-bound status.
The last ’’improvement’’ is in regards to weapons deployment – yes, a minor one I will admit, but I am sure many of you have been in situations wherein you have wandered into a poison cloud (or other situation) in Tyria and the weapons have repeatedly auto-deployed (without being called for) and thus slowed you down – sometimes fatally. In such circumstances (especially when simply passing through and not intended to engage the enemy – if any) such action is incredibly irritating and reduces my efficiency. So I would like to propose that the game be changed so that weapons do not auto-deploy. I mean, what’s the point of it? All characters have a fixed walking/running speed so deployment only slows them down more and in some instances that is sufficient to get them killed.
Much appreciated – will format that into an easy to understand format for the new players and relay. Appreciate your time and intel.
Well, I certainly enjoyed the mount option – and I notice that a new control binding (user defined) has been added to controls. But I do have one question – and also posed this elsewhere – say that a new player has just purchased the game; would they get both mounts and the ability to fly? Or do they need to purchase or unlock the Heart of Thorns chapter/maps to get flight capability?
That said the maps were exciting, they were easy to navigate (the Maguuma Jungle leaves me cold – its very nice to look at but a nightmare to navigate, so I avoid those maps now) and the characters engaging and interesting.
I’ve been a supporter of Guild Wars 2 since 2012 and as such have been keeping up with developments in-world and purchased Heart of Thorns when it first came out. I have also recently purchased Path of Fire and well, spend a lot of my time helping new players ease into the world.
A lot of these players have entered the game on demo accounts and have all sorts of questions – with the most pleasing being that they intent to pay for the game and get the full version when they can, if not immediately. So I provide them with information as to which version of the game to purchase and the recent update has led to much confusion on their part, so it is my intention here to ask a couple of basic questions so I can relay that information to potential purchasers.
Now, the original Guild Wars 2 package obviously provides the purchaser with all of the maps with the exception (or inclusion) of those which include Draconis Mons, Ember Bay and the Bitterfrost Frontier although I believe that they have to be unlocked by gem purchase, right?
In order to unlock the maps for the Heart of Maguuma it is necessary (or is it?) to purchase the first expansion, Heart of Thorns and that expansion also provides the player with the Revenant and with the ability to fly, and I assume that existing customers with the original Guild Wars 2 can purchase the Heart of Maguuma in much the same way the above regions were unlocked – or am I in error?
Now I’m aware of the upcoming Path of Fire and that it unlocks the capability for the user to employ Mounts for the first time, but does it also include the capability to fly for those who do not have the Heart of Thorns game? That’s the question I get asked the most – can I purchase that and not the Heart of Thorns and still be able to fly and I honestly do not know what to say to them.
Put simply, can a person purchase Path of Fire and be able with that package to unlock the regions provided in the first expansion simply by paying for them to be unlocked? If that’s the case, I’ll go and promote Path of Fire as the package to aim for, and not Heart of Thorns AND Path of Fire.
Please let me know – others are unsure too.
For about a week now I’ve been passing through the gate at Claypool, Queensdale and noticed that the light sources (torches) are brightening up as I approach and then dim again, but instead of displaying a brightening effect, they instead produce a darkening one which reflects off of nearby surfaces as a dark blue color. This happens in full sunlight so things turn very dark blue when in relative proximity of the observer.
I do not recall seeing the effect anywhere else.
Not sure its the client – I’ve just failed to get past the loading screen numerous times on two different avatars with my being kicked out the game repeatedly and told that there is a network error when no such error is apparent on hardware or modem.
I too have been experiencing massive amounts of lag (I call them ‘lag bubbles’ as they seem to float around and are active when a player travels through them in one direction only) for over a week now. They are clustered around the north-western end of Lake Doric and such that the JP under the Cascades is virtually impossible now.
This direction thing is important I feel. Exiting from the WP in that corner and heading east triggers them, but going west does not. And yet the ones under and over the same region are all west-bound triggers. The problem is such that it is seriously effecting the calm of players in that area, and I have noted a considerable drop in persons there because its impossible to fight or evade when its like being in a black hole.
I have been experiencing minor glitches in the code all day, but today was helping out a new player and standing in Divinity’s Reach when the game froze, kicked me out and then reported Network error . Please check your internet connection and try again (Code-1083:5:7:1595:101) and yet my internet is fine, everything else is fine!
I can log in just fine, but the moment I do log in to the character screen and attempt to get in world, one character (my main is being sent to Lake Doric – and I was not in Lake Doric or attempting teleport there) and another hangs up in Divinity’s Reach, with the eventual report after three or so minutes of attempted logging in of: The game client lost its connection to the serve. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again (Code=7:0:0:1026:101)
Please be advised that other online games are fine – my modem is fine.

I for one would love to see dreadlocks for a Charr in the style of the character ‘Predator’
I’m presently leveling up a new character, and as such I’m in Beetletun, Queensdale where one of the tasks is to erase Anti-Charr Graffiti from walls – be advised that a number of these images are not showing yet are registering as being there (to be erased) – and can be erased when interacted with.
I’ve had repeated instances of slow-down to the point of practically standing still while in the vicinity (both above and below) Harvest Cascades and the immediate adjacent in Lake Doric. These instances began occurring after the most recent update. I made inquiries among other players and they too report the same or similar anomalies.

Well, its not just that – I polished off the first and second lot of attackers easily enough, but the last chamber with the eye and the boss – no matter how or what I did, after twenty minutes I got nowhere. I went back in with another players and after completing it (I still do not know how) killed the boss and then got a message asking me to choose between staying in that story or going on to another one – I did that twice, and did not seem to go anywhere … still very confused as to what’s happening! And believe me, so are a lot of other people standing at the threshold at that event site.
I have this to say about “One Path Ends” – the initial part of the story is simple enough, and fairly enjoyable but asking us to throw chunks of unstable material at energy beams which no matter how many you target or how fast are virtually impossible to prevent operating is frankly not at all enjoyable – and after twenty minutes of that, I logged out in disgust. And your ‘little helper’ there was no help whatsoever. Why, at one point frustrated beyond reason I tried to interact with her to see if she could fix this little issue only to discover she was useless. Thanks ArenaNET, great game – really great, but frustrating – and virtually impossible for anyone below the rank of ’’god’’
I loathe the new Lion’s Arch with a passion! Theme Park? Yeah, that about sums it up. I liked it better when it had a shanty-town fishing village look to it, complete with lots of quaint little alleyways and inlets. I loved the LA that replaced the one from the classic Guild Wars and there were times when sitting on the dock, such was the ambience that it was possible to ‘smell’ the low-tide, the sand, salt, fish ready for the market. Not anymore.
A re-think would not be that bad – simply remove the huge pointless domed areas and pack them with more town features and add overhead gantries – that made it interesting! I used to love getting up high and seeing the sight of the bay from the rock spires. I also miss the smashed hulls of the pirate ships which lay around … so much which gave it real character is gone now and even the original city is wrecked, torn apart by Scarlet’s drill.
ArenanNET can we do something about certain effects – either bound to the world environment or triggered by other players – causing our avatars to move to a defensive stance? (auto-deployment of weapons) I often find my avatar forced into adopting a ‘’weapons out and ready’’ pose when some passing player activates something that frankly ought to just apply to them and nobody else – some players, abusers especially use this to manipulate other players into this pose for their own sick amusement, causing the trigger as a debasement.
In other instances, with the classic example being the poison mist produced by the plant enemies in The Silverwastes, running into or passing through this mist automatically deploys weapons and acts to (a) irritate the hell out of me and (b) slow me down considerably – it accomplishes nothing and frankly causes more harm to my gameplay than good. Worse, when it happens all I can do is attempt repeatedly to re-stow weapons only to have them pop out once again. Sadly the only cure for this is to walk around unarmed, but even then the unarmed avatar automatically adopts that ‘ready for combat’ pose.
I argue that its a pointless animation and frankly serves no practical purpose. Any chance of having it discontinued so we can get down to the serious business of fighting and where necessary retreating without being crippled by it?
Well, I for one would like to play the Skritt race. Imagine that – a Skritt hero! I already roleplay one by the name of Rikatickatickatock, ‘’master of Grabbielootie’’.
(the following has been channeled by Arcos Shiningpaw, Charr ranger and well-known drunkard and rabble rouser in Divinity’s Reach and translated for your pleasure) Of course Charr now sound like mice! That’s civilization for you! This treaty has done more damage than good, and if it wasn’t for the fact that some of my favorite most sacking spots were in Human lands you would not catch me within a league of any of them – rich pickings or not.
I’m curious as to whether or not anyone else (with emphasis on long-term players) have encountered a seemingly inexplicable message while attempting to enter a region I (in my case) knew for a fact was downloaded and unlocked yet was reported as ‘’Download Region? This region has not yet downloaded. Would you like to download this region and be alerted when it’s ready?’’ – to which I said yes of course. But why should this be so? I have made no change to the game in any way and have not suffered any data loss. Anyway, today when starting up the game reported that there was damage to the files – I checked them and they came back as fine. So, maybe this is a consequence of an update. ArenaNET you may want to look into this!
In my case the message appeared while attempting travel from Divinity’s Reach to Lake Doric.
Always wanted to see the Skritt Burglar as a mount (without the bags of course). Now my main is a large Charr, so oh what fun it would be to see the complaining Skritt with me on top of it, controlled by a handy collar and lines. Baggies hung from it, or even a saddle optional – in fact, ArenaNET can charge for saddles.
Starting late on the evening April 23rd (GMT region) I found myself unable to use region gates, unable to teleport to alternative Waypoints and after waiting more than five minutes in one instance, logging out and logging back in again to re-try believing it to be a temporary error found the same issue repeated. In all I forcibly logged out of the game about six times to desktop, logged back in again and tried numerous means of leaving the region I was in all without success.
During this period and attempting login, the login took a long time, failed at least one, and in another instance eventually did log me in wherein I was trapped back where I last left the avatar. It eventually fell on me to choose another avatar on login and that eventually led to a very long load-in too.
Today loading in was equally drawn-out and in attempting to transfer between Divinity’s Reach and Lake Doric the game did it again – in loading screen hell eventually displaying a message that the connection was lost and the game closing. Clearly there’s something going on which has made Guild Wars 2 unplayable for a percentage of persons. I’m on an American server.
I see AFK farmers a lot when in Kessex Hills after spores. I seldom report them because I’m genuinely worried doing so may damage my reputation – yet when I stop and question them, not a one of them ever replies suggesting they are AFK and effectively on ‘’auto pilot’’ which would imply a botting tool is being used.

Well, I made eighty, got world completion (classic maps) and now spend a lot of my time in new player zones (1-15) showing new players how to do things. I do not even need the mentor tag. I just wade in, answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible and give them practical demos on purchasing inventory expansion, tools, etc.
And frankly fee that this is a benefit. The number of times I’ve met both new and experienced players who thank me for doing this is not easy to count. I also offer a ‘’tour service’’ to players, aiding them in dealing with the tougher elements or standing shadow over them while they do it (they falter, I flatten whatever flattened them and then pick them up).
Additional services (all free, I would not dream of charging) includes the position of ’’scout’’ into the regions they have not visited with optional ’’bodyguard’’ position while they explore and toughen up. And yes, yes I do feel its a good thing – makes me feel GOOD INSIDE to be helping others. Hurrah! (Arcos Shiningpaw)
Really loving the map. I describe it to new players as having a ‘’Queensdale with attitude’’ flavor; have now put my analyst on ‘’danger money’’ and have mastered it. Pity about the enemy being there in masse, I hate showing them my CHUNK but its that or suffer the indignities of a slow drawn-out death by ‘bouncing’ all over the map.
The eventual solution was not to do it at all. Period. Instead I much enjoyed the wonderfully exhilarating run across no-Charrs-land of the centaur camp below (making sure that the stampeding centaurs were nowhere to be seen as I’m a ranger/druid) and then the claws-out-for-fury of getting behind the last tent on the extreme left of that area and climbing up the fallen debris pile with arrows pinging off of the rocks so I do not have my tail handed to me …
… then once you have navigated the slippery long stone you’re there – you’re ABOVE it all and can get the stuff that is up there before gliding down to the peach tree and anything else that is forthcoming and all without anyone using my rear end for a makeshift target. Ah, BLISS after that nightmarish ‘’jumping puzzle’‘. Fact is, if you want to end up in that ditch, go after the unbound magic because that’s the only reason its worth going anywhere near for.
And ‘’completely ruined my game experience’’ means that I expect things to be challenging, but not near downright impossible (and I have severe PTSD which such things cause to manifest) – my big Charr CHUNK is hard to shift, and this is not the only time it has proven to be an issue. But then I maintain that if you can steer a Charr you can steer anything.
Shall have to try that – thank you. That JP … still trying it (and failing miserably)
UPDATE: see my next post below, have found a solution which I’m sharing.
(edited by Belenus.9132)
Everyone of any intelligence, irrespective of race knows that the only source of all intelligence, culture and sophistication on Tyria is the Charr, but then I would say that, I’m prejudiced … and a Charr.
You think that’s bad I’m Arcos Shiningpaw (well-known Charr drunkard and not-a-spy around Divinity’s Reach) and my politics go something like this. ‘’You have Charr, mice and meat. At the moment you’re mice, pray I don’t gits to reconsiderin’’
I’m just writing in to say that in as far as I’m greatly enjoying the new Lake Doric map, I am close to experiencing a heart attack due to the amount of stress related to how hard it is to make even the most simple jumps on the Watchers Hollow Jumping Puzzle. It is particularly charr unfriendly, and frankly has completely ruined my gaming experience.
A game should be a enjoyable pursuit – not something you dread. And before the haters start commenting, I generally ace jumping puzzles, but this is one which I particularly loathe as even the opening elements of it – the rock pillars are near kitten ed impossible to reach no matter what angle you approach from. Sure, I get the first one, but the second … the third … fourth, all repeatedly failures and it becomes a real irritation when you have to go back and keep re-doing the nightmare-ish points all over again … over and over and over again.
I am a promoter and fan of improve ’’OIRP’’ (open improvised roleplay), that’s being in character all of the time, just addressing any and all players that happen to pass my way or are simply in the vicinity. To me its about adopting a persona and a series of character traits and simply being that person no matter what the whole time I’m logged in. That said, we do indeed need a sitting animation for chairs.
We also need a way of make abusers vanish. I get a lot of trouble from non-roleplayers who are all too eager to ruin a session I am running by interrupting and generally being a nuisance and often the only tool I have to silent these idiots is the mute option which just means I do not have to listen to them typing like a gibbering ’’kitten’’ but this does not stop them dancing around, throwing in-game effects or otherwise being a pain, so would like to make mention of the fact that I feel when a person is muted their dialogue, their effects and any subsequent visual outcome and their avatar ALL VANISH so they can merrily act like a ’’kitten’’ and I will be blissfully unaware of it … oh, and when I mute them, I too vanish from their perspective. Only way I’m sorry to say to deal with the ever increasing number of ’’kittens’’ who for some reason believe it is their given right to interrupt, abuse and play merry hell with the enjoyment of others who are trying to bring some ‘life’ to Tyria.
Yes, but the thing about skritt is … they don’t really have a civilization of their own, no, they ’’borrow’’ (although steal is a more accurate term) other peoples cultures and integrate them into their own in the form of manufactured goods. Although strangely the skritt do have skritt manufactured items, although the workmanship is often crude. As for the paintings, everything you can possibly ever imagine is REAL at some place, some how in an infinite multiverse.
Alright, I’m blaming this on the skritt. Lets face it, anything goes missing – the truly weird happens, you can always blame it on the skritt. I do.
Every time.
And there’s me thinking SKRITT had stolen it! I too waited in, sitting in Divinity’s Reach for ten hours … ten long hours staring at the stonework. The worst part was being contacted by people I know asking me, repeatedly, when the update was due and my informing them that it normally happened by now … and at 23:00 hours (GMT) having still not seen the update thinking I’ll come in the following day (8th) and it will be live. Well, its now 08:00 hours on the 8th and no sign of that update!
So, did the skritt get it? Should I be on the lookout for a skritt with a big grin on its face offering to sell me a big shiny update ‘cheap, no questions, yes?’
Kudos to you, Ho Ho Ho (and to add in the dialogue of my main character) put down thut gun, son, y’all ain’ heard o’ the spirit of the WintersDay Charr? Well, now yew haz. Ah kin see it now, handin’ out knives an maces to the kiddies, gittin’ grand-ma thut new hammer thut she all haz been ah-wantin’ an me slid beneath ah table wiv ah big silly lookin’ grin o’ ma face.
Yep, seen this too – two disconnections in less than five minutes. I keep checking my hardware, but that’s fine, so must be a server-side issue. Really irritating too as I was about to finish off a long walk to a chest – when WHAM, ‘’black screen of death!’’
Thank you. Be nice if that was mentioned in the wiki. Much appreciated.
This is going to sound stupid and naturally I expect intelligent replies and mocking ones, but I do have a question which needs an answer and well, seeing as I’ve been trying to find the ’’Luminate’’ in the golden city since release of the latest chapter without success I’m beginning to think that I’m missing something.
Now, is it necessary to play the previous chapter or can I just leap into A Crack in the Ice because I just quit Chapter 2 and went to Chapter 3 and yet, when I go the exact location of the ’’Luminate’’ in the city, there is no sign of them and despite my best efforts I cannot find them. The moment I leave the city, they are re-marked … and once I close on their location they fail to be there. What am I missing here? Naturally, until I can meet and converse with them I cannot proceed north into the newly added territories.
Shaman’s Rookery, Wayfarer Foothills is on full brightness – other caves in the area do not seem to be effected as of this time. See attached image composite.
Thank you. The thing is, I was told (via email) to just “email them” at the given address should this situation continue and yes, it has continued.
I seem to be a magnet for certain types of players – the sort who for reasons known only to themselves decide to use in-world effects and avatars to act to impede my movement, slow down my graphics card and make my PC scream and generally intimidate and of course there is no way of reporting what amounts to targeted bullying as there is no option for that.
So a while back I contacted ArenaNET and asked your support people what my options were and they said to ‘’contact them immediately’’ should any other instance of abuse take place and I generally don’t do this unless its definitely targeted and excessive and on the 7th October I wrote to customer support detailing abuse which amounts of intimidation using in-world elements to impede my enjoyment of Guild Wars 2 by certain selfish persons who think their actions are amusing.
I don’ t find them amusing. In fact I find them offensive. I’ll not mention the persons involved here (do not wish to break the TOS) but in attacking me while I’m minding my own business, hounding me, dumping giant snowballs on me, turning into giant frogs and laying down fire all around me and moving when I move, standing over me no matter where I stand is targeted intimidation and harassment and I’m sick to death of it. Today, the same offender from October 7th acted to harass me again, and was joined by another party (I believe they were associated).
I’ve long been a supporter of Guild Wars 2 and have been with the company for many years, yet this sort of thing is doing serious damage to me and I want it addressed. I have (as requested) emailed you video and images of the offending persons in action from my email account and yet have not heard back from you guys about it. So have taken the extraordinary step of writing to you here. I’m sorry to have done so, but this is the straw that broke the camels back.
Good points above, but I have a question: is there any way for a player to see how many people are ‘active’ on the server at any given time? Also, it would be handy to have an addition to the friends/blocked lists to see when the friend or blocked person (and I include those who have made accounts just to ’’spam’’ me) was last active on their account. Say for example that a person on your friends list showed as playing over a year ago, you could (if you were so inclined) clean out the ‘’inactive accounts’’ from said respective lists.
