Im sorry but PU doesn’t need a guide to being played, it is a very forgiving spec that only works on new players and allows you to make mistakes without getting punished very hard.

Also, Osicat played PU because at that time, everything was becoming condi and shatter couldn’t survive in the condi roaming meta. Pyro played PU because his immortal build got ruined so he went to the next best immortal build.

Technically, nothing needs a guide to be played.

Also, shatter still can’t survive in the roaming meta.

I play shatter in roaming with a couple of friends and do fine. The meta has changed again and it is more power focused now so shatter can be somewhat decent now in groups.

I don’t disagree with you. However, I rarely have a roaming ‘group’ to run with.
Solo roaming WvW as a shatter spec is a painfully frustrating experience.

Yeah i solo roam with a shatter build and find it just fine, as for PU i have never played it and never will it is what gives us mesmers a bad name and why every one calls for us to be nerfed.

Only a WvW will sell the precursor drop they get to pay for the next few week’s of upgrades.

Well if you could read you would see that i said and the BL’s are hit and miss too sometimes i can get on sometimes not and if i move BL i can get left loading. So yeah.

As stated i can’t get in to EBG at all not one of my ten toon’s and the BL are hit and miss . Ticket has been sent and have been told they are aware of an issue “great”. Now i have also ran a fix on my client so not my end. Now to the point, i know this is going on for other people and well it kind of makes WvW unplayable for me, and has there been a hot fix for this? NO. But if it was a living story NPC that was not showing the right name or was not interacting with people well kitten that would have been fixed post haste.

I have this on Sorrow’s Furnace on EB and on Queensdale where most of my toons are right now.

There are a few for a start solo roaming can be very helpful, So you can capture camps and sentry spots around the map taking down supply is very helpful, then calling out when you see the other teams zerg, if a commander knows whats going on he can plan for it. Then there is tapping of the other teams keep’s and tower’s this will work to move them away from where your zerg is running. There are more but i can’t think of them right now.

This is more of a Clone uptime build use clones to keep up the Conditions while you go in for the Block to hit with a lot of Torment.

So i like the idea but i can see WvW getting full of PvE loot farmers just spamming F on siege so how about you only get the reward if its only has 5 or 10 min left on the timer?

I use this in WvW not sure what it will be like in PvE but i find it works well in Solo Roaming and large scale fights.

As a mesmer main i only play WvW and i solo roam a lot and well if anyone thinks we are useless then they need to l2p because as a mesmer i can dish out huge damage or shut down player with condi’s Mesmers rock but we do need to have a few things buffed and the nerf every time they patch need’s to stop BUt overall mesmers rule.

That funny i play WvW to have fun and show that my server is the best and i don’t care about rewards at all (mind you getting Howl from a random player kill was very nice) i play the mode because of server pride and how fun it is.

Oh why do all mesmer’s want to go PU as a long time mesmer i hate PU builds its one reason i find it hard to get a fight one on one in WvW and if i do and win i get messages like oh a PU mesmer how original well i never have or will run PU far better builds out there.

So i have been on SF from launch and love playing in the lower servers but the people say move to DR are wrong don’t do it i used to love playing DR but right now they have 24/7 zergs no solo roaming (that i have seen or that will fight) and the small man groups that roam are mostly Hammer spamming warriors. Not too sure what has happened to DR ( HoD transfers maybe) but i do feel the loss of a great server a server that was fun to fight and always had a laugh.

So i don’t mind thieves but at the moment i am seeing more groups of thieves running together now they SR and all hit you at the same time (i know kittenty thing to do) but does anyone out there find this thing fun to do? and i am not QQ about it just wondering if this is a new cool thing to do?

The Glyph gives you an extra AoE plus might and arcane power makes huge damage boost.

As a mesmer main i can tell you that the best way to win is condition’s we mesmers find it hard to clear conditions and well necros find it easy to to apply them.

I don’t give a flying skritt about the reward distribution bug. It’ll get solved eventually for sure, but saying they don’t hire more developer because they don’t have the money for that is bullkitten.

Personally ( and I’m not a big Gemstore spender) i have spent more money in Gemstore than i have spent on the game itself. Like double that much. There are tons of people out there who have spent thousands of Euros just on Black Lion Chest keys, not to talk about the bank expansions, server transfers, gold exchange, character slots etc etc etc…

I don’t have the numbers of course, but i would guess just the gem store itself multiplied the game selling income of ANET.

Anet get nothing from gem store or game sales that would be NCSoft who then pay the wages of Anet

Guys, the last update was on Friday. Today is Monday. Contrary to popular belief, our developers have lives and families that they would like to live and see respectively.

“The Battle Historian now has WvW tournament rewards. These rewards will be temporarily disabled while we resolve an issue with Tournament Ticket distribution.”
But it’s been 10 days since the tournament is over.

There is no way a programmer would take over a week to fix a reward distribution problem when you can code an entire website in 2-3 days.
In a situation like this you have to take the decision to give a rewards to everyone immediately and get the programmer working on content again instead of wasting more weeks of his time fixing a bug. It’s not like the tournament had balanced gameplay anyway, we all knew who would win on the second week.

For a start he means last update from the devs about the fix and that was 3 days ago on Friday and secondly a fix could take a long time its most likely not an easy fix like a gem store (HTML) or a living story fix (a program that uses a set path) the reward bug may be a multi area problem i am think it is a problem with other program’s talking to the reward program and that will need time to find out what really is going on.

@Reverence I think this is a l2p issue as one of my mesmer builds is full condition the hardest class to kill is ele they can clear condies so fast and heal so much that its so hard to kill them unless you finish them quick.

Sorry but your Scenario’s would of both made for much higher numbers been without rewards. As for myself i did meta within about 3 days so long before patch and other people i know finished it in the last week and they have the chest. Everyone i know that has the reward has never changed server. IMO it may have to do with server association not updating or been read correctly by the program.

I hope we get some updates a bit more often than normal.

Well from what i have seen from the silver servers so far i am glad i am in bronze Spawn camping with siege from our own keep and when one of them does come out they run back in as soon as its going bad for them. Every bronze server be proud of your place getting higher up just makes you zerg happy cowards.

Condition damage has been nerfed enough is it me or is it not boring being able to just 1111 your way though every fight. I laugh all the time when 1111 spamers moan about how i am a noob because i am using a condi build well it takes way more skill to keep up time on condis than i does to just mash 1.

Seasons are a good idea they just need to get it right this one was too long.

So sick of post’s about this i am from a server that a year ago had players 24/7 not all ways lots but still now we don’t and its not because they have left it’s because they have given up, WvW was a great place to level and loot so more people would be on all the time. Before the megaservers ( i hate them by the way) you would see 100’s of people running around Queensdale on my server just doing that dam Champ train that’s what has taken the balance out of WvW IMO.

Just got my first unplayable lagg issue In EB and a zerg of about 20 came running by and i could do nothing at all, Its not my system as have been in lots of zerg v zerg fights with over 50 a side and had no issue now getting it with a lot less numbers happened 3 times now.

So my thing gets on my nerves is that a Rangers pet all ways knows who you are when you have clones out even if the ranger does not whats up with that ?
