I did everything in the post about not getting the emails. So did the OP as he mentions he whitelisted the 2 guildwars2 official emails and mentions the sticky too.

Are you saying I should just keep creating emails and sending in new tickets until I happen to receive automated response? Bit silly is it not?

I have the same problem, I need my email on account changed I already sent in 2 tickets (1 from gmail 1 from gmx) I have received exactly zero automated, or for that matter any, answer.

GM confirmed my ticket is in system but what good that is if I can’t communicate with support?

Well I made what you suggested, created new ticket, referenced the original ticket number and sent it from @gmx.com email.

And I have not received the automated reply yet again. So what do I do now? Is there any “guaranteed” email that will work? I would think majority of people use gmail.com so I fail to see why it wouldn’t work for me

Oh, the email in the post is not related to the game in any manner, as I have noted I use several gmail.com addresses for different purposes and the game uses outlook.com. But I see it’s been removed by the moderator anyway so no harm done in the end I guess:)

Thing is I did everything suggested in the sticky and there just haven’t been any automated response. Which makes me worried I might miss the actual response.

The email provided during ticket creation is gmail.com, the current email registered with the game is outlook.com and the email I wished to change to is yet different gmail.com address (I have several for differing purposes, the address provided for the sake of ticket creation is my “business” mail)

Only thing I can think of is in the rush I provided bad contact mail address, but that shouldn’t be the case as I had chrome autofill take care of it.

In any case the ticket number #1049580 should have come from [redacted], and that is also the address I wait for any reply on. Hope I’m doing it right. Or should I wait for the reply on the current email, or on the email I wish to change it into? I’m easily confused

I have not received any automated response e-mail, I checked all labels and spam folder. Since the issue is rather pressing (change of email due to current one being compromised) I would at the least welcome the definitive knowledge my ticket is in the system.

11 characters, playing daily since release, never saw a precursor drop nor do I know anyone who’d gotten one by drop. That’s probability. Do I think it’s fair? I don’t know, I don’t really care about legendaries so even if I’ve gotten precursor I’d immediately sell it.

30 minutes is nothing, not a statistical sample. Only ones crying about this change are the farmers and market flippers, none of which evoke any kind of sympathy from me. Normal casual player doesn’t notice any change, or notices positive change in drops that he can actually use.

Well yeah but in all fairness I really do think the 1 hour limit is enough. And I’m slowly learning that there might be others of another opinion, but it’s a process Though I wouldn’t support the increase to limit should it affect optimization (if that was the initial reason for the map popup).

Well, as you might have surmised form my post i’m not one of them. Also saying “I have performance problems because x or y” is worth nothing. Provide logs. Show a screenshot with CoherentUI using excessive cpu or memory. Something, anything other than post backed by vacuum.

You get a popup you gonna be moved to another map in one hour – you can opt to move when the popup shows and receive a buff or you can stay on your empty map and play with yourself (pun intended) for 1 hour.

I haven’t liked the direction that this game has been taking, for a long time. It’s not about making amends. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Arenanet would have to do more than revert to pre-9/9 to get me to invest my time in this game. Simply reverting the recent changes wouldn’t be enough. They’ve shown time and time again that they refuse to implement the changes that the players want in the game, and instead they focus on crazy stuff that they think will attract new players.

I’ve given Arenanet plenty of chances. They’ve failed in many ways, but the game was at least more fun than competing games in the genre. This isn’t about giving Arenanet a chance. This is about choosing to play a better game, and hopefully one that won’t be intentionally ruined by the developers.

I don’t play this game so that Arenanet can feel good about what they’ve created. I play this game because it is fun, or at least it was.
