That warrior build is just another build with some changes. And you’re missing 2 trait points. If you create a build yourself it is 100% likely it will just be a variation of an older build.

10.) Never let your opponents escape nearly-dead
Uhm, following scenario: You fight 1vs1 to cap a point. Your opponent is nearly dead, but manages to start running away (GS-Warrior, Ele with Mistform or whatever)… you can try to chase and kill, or actually cap the point. What will you chose to do?
cap the point if u cant follow GS war, ele, thief or whatever run faster than u
4) Get off point before you are dead. It’s not necessary and just downright foolish to tank on point until you are dead. Kite if you can. Especially if you have team mates with you who can run on point.
Addendum: if you won’t be able to get away from the fight, hold the point as long as possible and DIE ON POINT so your opponents have to stomp you and can’t let you bleed out.

But to all seriousness, if your team lose when you’re 5 v 4 someone, you should be ashamed. Not just your team is incompetent, you are too. Even if your team is losing everywhere, you could easily manipulate the outcome through rotation and bunking if your opponent miss one person.

Stability was not and never was out of jail for free.
-> Boon strip = no more stab.
->Immob -> counter stability.
-> Slow/chill -> pass throught stability.And for a group to have permanent stability. You did need to grab more than 1 guard per party (that is without counting boon strip or other random factor : out of range to receive buff because the guard in your party or you got picked off/your guard died).

I encountered a few players on SoS in early morning NA using teleport hacks. It was the first time I was 100% sure I witnessed someone hacking. I reported them for botting, and whispered another SoS player to keep an eye on them, and report them as well.

in that duel u be hit over 54 time and u die
more or less that duel duration is 1m and 30 sec
54+ are the hit the guardian + weapon made when the duel start to ur down
is a cumulative dmg
in short the guardian made 830 burn dmg per hit per second + phisical dmg
832 burn dmg per stack (25 might stack), u be hit 54 times (2 or more player who share virtue of justice active effect)
in short it is a cumulative dmg made from 3+ enemy, it isn’t only the dmg from the guardian’s weapons

Ya there is several ways to get around 72%, its doesn’t matter really. Keep in mind that if you can keep your life at 90% for around 60% of the time, then Scholar will always give more dps than Ranger. If you can’t keep it for 60% of the time, then Ranger will be better.

Detonating your healing turret is a burst of heal, but not the best idea since you gonna lose maximum healing over time. You should pick it up after overcharge. Without food the vulnerability will jump between 12 and 23, dropping to 8 when your rotation is interrupted (like when you dodge). Of course if you have a lot of Warrior, Elementalist and Guardian that give vulnerability you won’t need condition duration food. I always have 2 type of good depending on my party. But I often need the condition duration food. Not because my party can’t go to 25 stacks of vulnerability, but because it can’t keep it up all the time.
with “Bunker Down” (firearms XIII) ucan place a mine every 2 seconds (another explosion) and keep vuln up without much problem (with fury and bunner u got 100% crit chance)

max dps with nade, 25 stacks on vulnerability, support from EG (#3 and #5 skill)80% crit chance is way too high unless you are soloing. The sweet spot is 72% in dungeon so that fury + banner of discpline will give you 100%. Replace Ranger for Scholar will give you more dps AND will make sure you don’t go over the 100% crit chance limit. If you want you can use maintenance oil, but that will be useless if there is a ranger in your party with spotter and slaying potion will be better overall.
For food Curry Buttersquash soup isn’t the best choice for engineer. A food with power+condition duration will be better, but they cost as expensive as Buttersquash. There is also condi+condition duration that are good ans far less expensive. These food will allow you to keep vulnerability up for a longer duration.

Well the thing is, you stay in your Tier, this happens. You move down a Tier, your now the dominant server.
Ehmry Bay moves up a Tier and someone from Tier 5 moves down, it’ll be even worse. Someone from Tier 7 moves up while ehmry bay moves down; nothing changes in Tier 6, but Tier 7 gets destroyed.
So what exactly do you want? The only ideal situation is to fuse all the servers together into 3 separate factions where the population will be the same throughout all factions…
Are you up for something like that or are you one of the players that holds too much “server pride”?
The problem isn’t tier anything….When I took this I was the only one on the map for our side. Our heavy population time is 30 people (all maps). The problem is that once you go out and get rolled by 5 times your numbers you go do something else.

First, going 6 in to death magic which is toughness/boon duration traitline for a inside DS health regen trait is odd to begin with. Second, the scaling of the regen even with a ton of healing power is subpar at best and the actual heal is laughable small to even be useful. Third, with 6 points invested in death magic you kitten your self from taking more valuable traits from other traitlines that would give you more benefit for your investment.
These are just some of the top reasons unholy sanctuary fails at its job and I’m sure other necro’s could give you even more reasons why traits like this one and others just plainly suck kitten out of a tube.

I hate PPK, yet again it rewards zerg behaviour.
Take an unskilled zerg and a smaller skilled group.
The zerg it taking a tower and the smaller group comes to defend.
The zerg slowly whittles down the smaller group, which is able to hang on whilst it’s dead players run back again.
Eventually, after several wipes, the smaller group manages to defeat and push back the zerg.With PPK the zerg is still rewarded more points than the smaller group as the smaller group suffered more deaths than the zerg. So even though a smaller group was able to defeat the zerg, the smaller group is not rewarded for their skill.
But as usual the real problem is that WvW is just not balanced! And Anet not spending resources on improving it is not helping; making silly little changes like PPK and removal on white swords will not fix anything.
That’s a bit backwards from my personal experience. My small group can easily kill way more numbers, especially when we have walls and siege on our side. The zerg will usually eventually get the cap by power ressing the dead and pvding the door down but we get a crap load of kills in the process, way more than what the zerg gets.
If it’s an enemy tower or keep and there isn’t a chance to hold it for the tick, we won’t even stick around to fight in lords. We hop out and pick off a couple of the stragglers and then run off.
sure if u got siege placed (superior) and refreshed, 5+ ppl can wipe a zerg , but if u start with 0 siege and low supply, u cant defend tower or keep for long

I don’t play necromancer, but I’d say necromancer is much higher risk in team settings than engineer is to play. You actually have to know how to position properly and spike people rather than running around spamming ur incendiary powder on people and then going through ur shield block/elixir s/stealth/uninterruptable heal rotation whenever you get focused.
In fact, if you think that Engineer is harder to be effective on than Necromancer, I can only really laugh.
And that’s why there is one active necromancer in top tier while there are probably about 10+ engineers.
