My bet is that the outcome is completely unrepresentative of the actual strength of a server, and merely the outcome of the unreliable, crazy, nature of this tournament style. That somehow rewards losing.
As if manpower and coverage are better criteria for “strengt of a Server” than Swiss tournament Points if you want only these 2 stay with glicko and ignore seasons.

There are still tricks how you can place sieges on walls while the aoe cant touch them
ele staff fire #5 can touch u if traited and make 2k dmg/shot (more or less 10k-18k) on crit
necro wells traited = conditions spammer (and syphoning if traited)

and if u place siege in a wrong place on the wall u miss some place where the ac must hit
Take a look through some of the builds from this weekend’s Euro qualifier. Except for dedicated bunker guards, the majority of specs are running Celestial hybrids with Strength, Hoelbrak, or Pack runes.
During the massive condi meta of summer 2013, players complained that stat combos like Rabid allows players to have too much sustain + damage at the same time. Does the stat distribution of Celestial have a similar damaging effect, by allowing players to obtain significant amounts of direct damage, condi damage, and sustain in a single spec?

She’d face the same treatment no matter what server she was on. Up levels are a liability to the players around them. Easy target for easy rallies.
It’s a two way street. You can say that guilds don’t have the right to demand ownership of a game area (which I agree with) but what gives her the right to devalue the gameplay experience of others?
There are many ways to level up your character. I suggest you tell your friend to focus on getting to lvl 80 and getting a good build before venturing into WvW. Not only will WvW be infinitely more fun for her but she’ll also be useful to the players around her.

I’ve been playing this build a lot. It’s insane. Engineer is probably my least played class at the moment, but it’s the only class I’ve managed to win a full 3v1 in SPvP. Turrets do crazy damage with this build, plenty of CC and a ton of boons.
With Turret set down + Elite you’re close to unkillable.
hmm with 4% on crit chance sigil of stregth is useless
(+ 20% crit on fury = 24% = 1 on kitten to make a crit and 60% on crit to gain might)
sigil of force is an alternative or sigil of purify for some cond clean on hit

I’m close … nvm snare spam from net turret … wait I’m close … nvm repeatedly thrown back by knockbacks … wait I’m close … nvm he’s invulnerable now … I’m close again … nvm he’ leaped away and now I’m slowed …. Bunker you mean a build that is very tanky but still does a decent amount of damage? Because pure bunker builds are balanced like bunker guardian = 0 damage.
But bunker DPS is imba : turret engi , MM necro , soldier Axe warrior with Intel sigil etc..
They need to Nerf damage of the builds that can be tank and DPS at the same time.

PS: it REALLY frustrating having to fight higher tier. You cant do anything. ANYTHING. They just overwhelm you. Plus, if they are evil little kitten they spawn camp with their zerg… And it happens way more than it should.

- Walls should only be damaged by cats and trebs.
- 25% price reduction on siege equipment.
- if for some technical reason structures cannot be made immune to player damage, reduce damage taken from players to 1 dmg.

If you or a friend can stand under the shield of the turret (like siege) it could be extremely powerful. You can redeploy a single turret as quick as 15 seconds after you pick it up. Each is 4 second bubble.
Depends if a PLAYER can stand in the bubble. If yes, like siege bubbles, I see a lot of use.
HT + 4sec of bubbles = some regen and protection and after the bubbles gone, overcharge HT and detonate for massive heal
20sec and do again the procedure moltiplicate this procedure for 4 or 5 engy and they can protect 20 or 30 ppl near the ram or cata spot

cleric with bombs heal its a good support and got good survivability in a zerg
Primetime every day, 10 + ACs decorating the walls and houses in bay and hills. Shameful behavior of completely hiding gates. 2000 damage * 50 players. 5 super ACs = 10000 damage per second, you might as well be equipping your force with rifles machine guns.
Within 2 seconds bodies will be littered on the floor, and I can imagine Devon going “Wow! That was an exciting fight. ‘Grin.’”
Day in, day out, “some” guilds/players will hide behind them. And if we try to clear them with trebs, they just portal bomb them. This was 6 months ago, 3 months ago, and apparently players still uses ACs every single day and drag it out in a battle of 5 hours attrition.
I got sick of it 6 months ago, 3 months ago, and I’m still sick of thess ACs. I’m wondering if anyone still likes Devon’s statement.

its a conqueror figth and not champ farming
if they use ACs, u just use treb or golem (guard them for prevent portal bomb)
