Forgot to mention. This isn’t something that only happens on my end. We have experimented with friends and they see it occur at the same time. 6 people watching teleports see it occur every time.

A bug was introduced not long ago where any teleport/blink abilities make the character seem like he returned to his previous spot but then only to blink forward again. It happens 90% of the time while in combat.

It makes fighting thieves a pain because you think he shadow returned back to you so you use a stun but he’s actually not really there.

Notice in the first clip how I land a hammer shock on the thief only to find out he’s not really there.

PLEASE fix this! It makes WvW it HUGE pain in the rear.

[EDIT] This occurs not only on my end and shows up for all people viewing the teleport. 6 or more people watching confirm it occurs.

kill shot warrior doesn’t have an entire elite spec dedicated to it.

Doesn’t matter. A player must be punished if they are bad and firing at a warrior that’s using his reflect.

Have you tried roaming around in WvW? You can no longer fight without a deadeye being 1500 distance away hiding in stealth waiting to instant down you with a 20k damage spammable shot. I should be able to counter him by reflecting his shot back at him while I’m using an obvious reflect skill.

Also, this game engine needs to die and they must create a new one. It’s old and can’t handle the scope of the game in my opinion.

This is sadly why GW3 is nowhere NEAR being close to even being on their drawing board.

You’re going to get the same responses since the game came out. The PvE players are frightened and literally shake at the thought of having someone send them a duel request.

Every major MMO that features dueling has an option to ignore duel requests so this is not an excuse.

Their other excuse is “I don’t want duels to clutter my precious Lions Arch!” but they’re the FIRST ONES to fill LA with dumb halloween costume fights.

There’s zero reason not to have dueling in the game. It’s a fun way for friends to test builds against each other while you wait to start a dungeon.

Stop taking the game so seriously. Who cares if people duel near you.

Tbh, i hope they keep it that way, You can reflect #2 but all the other skills not. Considering the amount of random kittening ass reflects theres is everywhere it will make no sense to even try to snipe someone, ull just get your ass kicked by random reflects.

On the other hand, i can see why they will do it and i guess ill just deal with it.

Deadeye is currently a bad glass cannon. If it gets changed to reflectable projectile then nobody will play it except maybe bearbows who want option to perma stow pet.

I don’t get it. Warrior’s kill shot is reflect-able, takes longer to cast and is obvious, uses adrenaline, and does far less damage. You don’t see me complaining. I just don’t fire it when I see a reflect.

Again, L2P issue. Don’t spam shots into a bunch of reflects. Pick targets better.

Warrior main since betas here.

This is a deserved balancing of Berserker warrior. Base warrior SHOULD get 3 stacks of healing when using a burst as he has one chance and then must build adrenaline again. Berserker warrior builds adrenaline SUPER fast in zerker mode. It makes perfect sense that it shouldn’t get 3 stacks every burst.

If you’re a good warrior you can land your bursts and get your 3 stacks in a couple seconds.

This also made base warrior completely USELESS. It’s now more balanced and makes base warrior viable again.

L2P issue.

Thief main here. I don’t mind being punished if I miss or have my backstab blocked. It promotes more skillful use of stealth skills.

Axe offhand is so kitten bad. If they gave it a reflect and buffed damage just a tiny bit, then it would actually be usable even in PvP/WvW/

You don’t need ascended for anything in this game other than fractals for agony resistance. I have 8 characters with multiple builds each. Mostly all exotic. I only do small man fights and duels in WvW and being full ascended won’t be a big difference in damage or sustain.

Again, this changes if you’re doing really high fractal levels due to agony, though.

I have been using warrior as my main since the betas and it JUST OCCURRED to me that warriors do not have an elite shout at the moment. Necros, Eles, Rangers, and guardians all use shouts and actually have an elite shout. What the kitten? I mean, I guess we have banner in it’s place but I’d still rather have a shout.

I would love to have a shout that gives us protection. That would be fantastic.

This is a good change. It brings the defy pain in line with the other classes safety traits like spectral armor at 50%.

Wut? No, you can’t compare spectral armor with endure pain.

Engineer’s elixer S procs at 25%
Ele’s arcase shield procs at 25%
Revenant’s invuln procs at 25%.

biggest problem is that they dont stack.. so using endure pain around 60% issnt very unlikely.. but when you get downed to 50% because condi then your defy pain gets used also.. but because they dont stack you lose defy pain if there was 1sec endure pain left..

Yep. And what sucks is that you can pop your endure pain at 75% but because you have some condis on you ticking fast, it’ll auto trigger defy pain at 50% and they don’t stack. So you just lost one. :\

Adrenal Health change

My issue with this is that its another nail in the coffin for base warrior. Right now in berserker mode you can land so many bursts that you permanently have 3 stacks of adrenal health. On base warrior you are punished very hard if you miss a burst.

It really sucks because I always kept my defy pain in my back pocket in a duel. Just when the enemy thought they had me on the ropes it triggers and I end up turning the fight around. Now, it’s just odd and triggers when my health is at half…..which is plenty health for me. It’s just a weird change and I think it’s a bad one.

Don’t punish the good players because bad warriors can’t keep track of their skills. :|

Yup. Just tested it. Evisc is currently not dodge-able. We discovered this today when we were getting hit by Evisc in duels when we know we evaded it.

[EDIT] Testing it some more. You can’t evade it entirely. It will go through warrior whirlwinds and mesmer’s blurred frenzy.

Revenant hammer 2 is one of the biggest wildcards in the game actually. You can have two even mirror teams with evenly skilled players fight each other but if you were to swap in a hammer Revenant then that team would win hands down every single time.

A really bad player who just made a zerker revenant can stumble into a fight and do 10-14k damage every 2-3 seconds and win his side the fight with a single button press. Hell, randomly throw in hammer 3 and 5 along with 4k-5k auto attacks and it’s even worse.

They need to nerf this FOTM build everyone is running and buff everything else because right now it’s so easy to play Revenant is silly.

It’s sad that Revenant players want to be lazy and don’t want to learn any other builds.

Here’s proof of endure pain bugging out. You’ll notice I still down the warrior even when he’s in the middle of his endure pain. Our connections were good and there was no lag on the map since it was empty.

I agree with Sunreva, actually. For a class that is summoning the mists as power it’s not hitting hard enough.

I’m usually getting 4-5k auto attacks on my full zerker revenant and it pretty much kills most classes in 3 hits but I’d like to see it do it in maybe 2 hits. Hammer 2 is only hitting for 10k on heavy armor and 18k on light armor but if it maybe had no cool down then it would be awesome as I think 2 seconds makes the skill hard to land.

Vault needs a nerf and backstab might need a buff.

Vault is not “hard to land” and being able to spam 10k AOE damage back to back is a bit much especially since it requires ZERO setup compared to backstab.

Yes, but the Renewed Focus Elite (also an invuln rofl) recharges the F3 instantly. It’s a heck of a lot of invulns for such an absurdly bursty class.

Seriously, I’ve been speaking to my guildies and friends on “enemy” servers who are all die hard WvW players and they all agree that Anet catered to casuals a bit too much and made bursty classes too easy to play. There used to be a time when we could say “Alright, that guy is their main DPS. Focus him!” but no more. It’s impossible.

I think this is the main issue at the moment. There’s basically ZERO reason to not be close to full zerker on most of the new specs at the moment because of the sustain they have.

This might not be an issue in PvE but wow is it making WvW pretty boring.

For instance. If you try to focus a full zerker DH at the moment all he does is dodge roll, dodge roll, pop F3 making him completely invulnerable to damage, pops shelter, pops wings of resolve for a huge heal, pops renewed focus, pops F3 making him invun for 5 seconds, pops wings of resolve healing him for a huge amount, throw in dodge rolls, aegis, blinds, boons, and another shelter heal……ugh. It’s absurd how much of an easy time I’m having playing DH. Meanwhile my traps almost instagib people while they try to focus me.

The same thing goes for Daredevil. Massive 8-10k bounds coupled with pretty much perma evades and dodge rolls that hit for huge damage as well. Our group’s daredevil thieves cannot be focused in a fight no matter what but at the same time can put out so much AOE damage it’s crazy.

Don’t even get me started on Revenant. The copy paste FOTM build everyone is using makes 10v10s completely lame at the moment. For kittens and giggles we tried out 5 full glass revenants in our 10 man group. When engaging a big group we would all just auto attack once (to clear aegis and trigger the 50% more damage on next attack) then just all do hammer 2. The enemies were getting hit for essentially 40-50k damage instantly. It would do a huge amount more obviously when they got hit by two hitboxes. When an enemy is downed all revenants just hammer 2 on them from 1200 and everyone insta downs.

It’s actually absurd. I can go on and on with the other specs but I think everyone gets the point.

So I don’t know where the bug lies specifically, or the way in which activated buffs works, or if it’s related to how channeled skills effects and their activation works, or if its some combination of these things but-

  • If you start a channel skill like Hundred Blades, lets say against a blocking Rev, and you activate Sig of Might after the first hit lands, the entire channel of hits will fail to deal damage. Note, they won’t be blocked, but something bugs out or doesn’t “connect”. This occurs, I think, because of the way in which the queue and activation time works, and how effects sparse out after activation. So in the case of the Killshot vid, if you slow the vid right down and look at the activation times of the skills, Killshot’s channel goes first and lands a hit, endure pains activation is late even though the effect comes into play on the buff bar. In Vann’s case the skills look like, Shield Bash > Endure Pain proc > Eviscerate, however if the timing of the skill queue matters, the Eviscerate could have been queued in conjunction with the Shield Bash, going in before endure pain. Weird, I know, but its one explanation. Obviously buggy behavior either way.

No, I don’t think that’s how it works. Because I duel my warrior friend a lot and if he casts a killshot and I have no dodgerolls I’ll pop my endure pain and it will negate the damage.

At the very end my killshot eats right through his endure pain like if it wasn’t even there. This has happened to me before…..where I know I hit my endure pain but for some reason I still took damage and died.

Coalescence of Ruin too much damage

Cruel Repercussion doesn’t need to be nerfed. It should be doing 100% more damage. If someone blocked my attack they should pay the price.

I’m currently doing around 10k-15k damage with the coalescence of ruin and while that’s a good start I think it needs a buff. I know it’s a 2 second cool down but maybe it instantly recharge if you hit multiple targets.

Seriously. Just delete the bottom half of all the servers. It has ZERO effect on PvE and will help with the DEAD WvW maps.

Sadly, I’m pretty sure Anet will not do this because it will just be admitting that their game is “losing players.”

I run a Norn and I can guarantee we have a kneel animation. Which by the way is far more obvious than a humans.

See, this is the problem with DH players defending an obviously overpowered skill. They have no clue what they’re talking about. This is a norn casting true shot. Looks like every other bow animation. Don’t know if male norns do it any different so please post a screenshot if so.

No, it doesn’t. Only the humans do a sort of kneeling animation for like .0000002 seconds before casting an 8-10k attack that pierces and is on a 4 second cool down. Not sure why only the humans do it but the other races don’t kneel.

The animation needs to change and become super obvious, casting time increased, and cool down increased. Right now when I use DH it’s such easy mode that I feel bad running the spec since it’s the FOTM for guardians.

I agree with 1 and 4, especially 4.

As for 2 and 3, I actually like that we might have to work in new mechanics. I have always enjoyed going between PvP and WvW because the their differences – it adds a challenge and keeps things interesting. Having a “third style” of PvP is pretty cool.

What are you talking about? It’s a horrible idea to give every class access to stealth. Just imagine a dragonhunter or revenant being able to stealth any time they want constantly. That’s terrible.

The guild arena so far has been very fun for dueling team mates but we’ve discovered a few issues. Feel free to add other fixes to the list!

1) Size: Arena is too small for larger gvg’s so right now it’s useless for that. It also gets crowded way too fast if you’ve got over two duels going on. Please increase the size dramatically.

2)The guild halls are essentially in PvE mode. Meaning that retaliation is doing ABSURD amounts of damage since in WvW it’s supposed to do less. Please fix this.

3)PvE bundles are useable in here. wtf? This isn’t a problem with guildies but if we’re doing a GvG against another guild you can’t trust them to not use those stealth feathers in the middle of the fight.

4) Please get rid of the “a new instance of this map is available” thing when more people join the guild hall. What on EARTH is the point of this? It’s extremely annoying.

True shot needs a nerf. Don’t even try to defend it. All of my guildies who main guardian completely agree that this ability is kittened.

I’m being hit in WvW for 8-10k and I’m on a warrior with 1800 toughness. The actual skill animation is BARELY noticeable and it’s on such a short cool down it’s absurd. It’s a kill shot on a ridiculously short cool down that doesn’t need to build adrenaline.

If you’ve got 2-3 DH’s in an enemy group it’s impossible to avoid these true shots because they don’t have an obvious kneeling animation and long casting time.

This needs to be fixed.

I run small man teams and if I see a much larger group but I see a few PUGS following us we might make a push on them but ONLY if our pugs are true lvl 80s.

Now, I can’t even tell. Uplevels are COMPLETELY useless in WvW and their only use is rallying the enemy when they instantly get downed. It’s lame.

Please fix this.

There are very few attacks that reach outside the listed range. It’s Rangers bow (which actually shoots 2200 range) and Revnants hammer auto attack. Those are one of the most obvious ones.

Why do these classes get to exploit bad coding? All projectiles and skills need to actually do what their tooltips say. Wouldn’t you complain if Revenant’s phase traversal reached 300 range less than what the tool tip says? I know i would.

Should we start buffing all ranged attacks so they hit far past their stated range? It would be awesome if warrior rifle could reach 1500 distance just like Revenant.

Just made the copy paste Revenant build everyone is running and noticed the hammer range is definitely bugged. Tool tip shows 1200 range but the hammer actually hits around 1500-1700. I attached a photo showing a 1200 range skill versus how far I can actually hit the golem from:

I’m critting on people for 3k from an absurd distance away. I feel that’s a bit much. My warrior’s rifle shows 1200 range and the rounds fired from it halt immediately at 1200 distance.

Overall Revenant is interesting but it would be great if they tweaked the current copy paste “meta” build so it’s not so strong and then buffed the rest of the legends/weapons. Would love to use my Moot!

P.S. Hammer 2 skill is on a 2 second cool down and does 6k damage. wtf?

Just double checked and it seems like every other attack reaches the proper 1200 distance but something critting people for 3k every single hit shouldn’t be able to do it at 1500+.

Hello! I noticed that Revenant auto attack actually reaches 1500 distance or higher.

Can this be fixed? It feels a little weird that I can do such massive damage from so far away.
