1) only for skill number 1
2) for all other skills
or
All keys 1-0 have different setup
1-Normal/Instant/Fast with Range Indicator

3-Normal/Instant/Fast with Range Indicator
etc
When i play engineer i need to change setup on fast (mortar kit, granade kit), without this option i must smashing Button number 1 for attack, but on other skill like 2-0 + F keys i need ground target.

When you make 15g in first hours in this farm, you are lucky boy. After maybe 30 min drop is dramaticaly decreased because Diminishing returns “Loot from enemies, in which foes tend to drop less loot of progressively lower quality, for a character remaining in the same area for long periods of time.”
7.5k hours play time and “zero” DC in this game. Maybe go and fix your internet connection and PC befor you start write on forum =)

This topic is really funny. Necromancer without DS bar made him unplayable in 90% game content. Necromancer dont need DPS boost, he have best dps in many raids wings right now.
Only one thing needs a necromancer, boost Vampiric Presence for better group support.the kitten are you talking about, necromancers are being kicked out of raid for low dps kitten .
You play maybe other game. I clear every single weekend all raid wings like necromancer without problem.
Solutions for you is start raiding with normal people.

Combo F1 + 5 + 4 apply maybe 36 stack on bleed = 36/3 = 12*2 = 24*136dmg = 3264*10 = 32640DMG / 30 sec CD = 906 DPS
This step doesnt make sense. Explain.
Before change this train apply only 1 bleeding, right now apply 3. Now you apply 36 stack on F1 + 5 + 4 combo, with old trait only 12 stack.
Deathly chill bleed buff is really good. Get your Condi duration up and its a constant 3 stacks all the time. This adds more pressure after ramp up and will increese Condi overall dps
You have chill only on dagger 4 with trait every 18 sec => +2 bleeding stack on 10 sec (one bleed 136dmg*2=272dmg*10sec=2720dmg/18sec CD = 151DPS and chill novatrait 8 sec CD => 272 DPS +-
This change increase Necromancer weapon DPS in raid maybe for 500-600 DPS.
Combo F1 + 5 + 4 apply maybe 36 stack on bleed = 36/3 = 12*2 = 24*136dmg = 3264*10 = 32640DMG / 30 sec CD = 906 DPS
Totall +1400 DPS. Necro is still condition DMG garbage vs other condi dps class.
RS 6+5+3 and you have 36-39 stack of bleed on target
For how many seconds?
10 maybe 11 with 100% bleeding duration, this combo have 30 sec CD. Necro is still lowest condi dps class in game.
The fact remains that Greatsword is very outdated since the buff to sword and sceptre.
Change the animation on Greatsword #4 to match Reaper Greatsword #4 and remove rooting. They both shared the same “stab sword in ground and root” animation once, though anet removed changed it for Reaper during beta. Quickness would be a nice buff
Remove the movement speed reduction on #2 and revamp the skill so all the damage comes from the spinning, instead of having silly projectiles that force you to sit inside the enemy hitbox to do max damage.

Reading todays release notes, why the hell would you buff Guardians even more? They are so OP in PVP already, what you should have done is simply only let the cooldown on traps fire when a trap was triggered or after 30 secs and then the previous trap disappears. Really don’t get why the Devs don’t see them as being far, far too OP..

Whine topic. As a thief you should be able to win from a necro. Necro and especially Guard havent been in the meta. It was Druid, Revenant and Mesmer (and also Engi) that have been meta.

Interesting, i play 80% time sPvP without HOT specialization on my Thief,Necro,Ranger(after last nerf) and Warrior. This four class realy dont need HOT specialization in sPvP.
Guardian use HOT specialization beacose core guardian F1-3 they are really bad.
Mesmer HOT specialization is most overboosted specialization in this game.
And Revenat really want HOT specialization on healing skill (Infuse Light)
This change nerf Death nova trait to. Death Magic is dead trait line right now.
Dont worry, Epidemic will not be changed. Problem on mesmer is pernament boons like quickness,protection, etc.

After last patche (20.9.2016) is his "eyes effect " embedded in the head and you see only faint light. In hero panel “H” looks normal.
What is the point of comparing Mug crits from 4 years ago to the meta now? Back then thief also used to have pretty strong 1v1 and large teamfight potential yet look where we are now.

Mug has a 20% higher coeffient than CnD.
It would be stupid broken, just as it was back in 2012.
This screen shot was taken on a full glass build vs a full glass target with 15-25 stacks of might. Blowing that target a kiss from this build would hit for 4.5k… xD
My build isn’t glass at all (did you not notice the +70% more hp than baseline for thief that I run?), and the opponent was a level 80 daredevil, thus not being as squishy as even a berserker backline ele, necro, or mesmer.
If you’re not running to play big damage, you do not get to complain your damage is too low. Play for damage, and deal the damage like you can do now. If you think damage is too low, when in reality it can be made to be very high, either do not complain or change your build.
Mug would be just totally broken to allow it to crit, unless the coefficient is cut in at least half, which is kind of stupid to do since it would accomplish nothing except make the class less consistent.

btw a guardian with that many blokcs wont do damage, a guardian with 3/4 traps looses condi cleanse (still exist via f3 and block, wich is easilly countered/disrupted)… etc, guardian/dh is the easiest classs to defeat, they have a lot of counters, since they cant reset combats and loose mobility.

All this change make this game really better and they have been discussed for many months before they were implemented.

The DPS is fine, they can keep that but they shouldn’t be tankier than bunker eles last season… please for the love of god reduce the block spam heal spam that lets them live forever in 2v1
Ranked is won by DH stacking, it is top tier and the most powerful class, don’t kittening even try to deny it. When I put that Symbolic build on, it was win win win win win.

I think they actually listen to ppl but not every one single whiner on forums (OP) but rather some known personas in the community/esport(lol) pros who actually have deeper understanding of balance and mechanics. If they were to listen to everyone who is Q_Q all the time that class XXXX is op cuz its countering my playstyle or buff YYY cuz its my fav class we would be kittend
Lol I guess the one time Anet did listen to the community was when everyone was crying to their mothers about how Thief was beating everyone in PvP because “they have stealth.” Anet responded by nerfing the hell out of the class for the next 3 years. They took away everything that made the class fun (S/D and D/D, to name a few) and basically shoved D/P down our throats in PvP. If you do some digging around the forums, you’ll realize that no other class has been nerfed as hard as Thief. Literally no other class comes close to the amount of nerfs recieved compared to thief. Anet is constantly beating the dead horse by nerfing thief time after time after time. The thief class we have now is a shadow of its former self.

I’m telling you, literally no other class comes close to the amount of nerfs thief got. Mind you, all the nerfs stemmed from people who QQed on these forumns about thief supposedly being OP.
But also any other class did not get as much boost and reworked weapon skills as Thief.
And 90% “nerfs” on your link only balance new initiative regen boost =)
I also begrudgingly use traps for dps, but I miss the good old days where our utilities were good supports. Nothing has changed and their support is still there, but trap dps is too good to pass. Other utilities should have similar opportunity cost – support if not damage.
Every single time in this game Guardian use like support skill wall of reflection and maybe stability, thats all =) In WvW 95% Guardians use old shouts.
I would love a redesign on the traps (among things).
Especially if you look at it like this: the main two trap classes (who don’t need elite for it) have traps which are absolute garbage in comparison to the ones for dh. So normalizing them (to be closer to dh or at least as viable) would be a great idea, also to make gw love up to the “build diversity” quote (which is what I loved pre hot)
After HOT we have 5x more build diversity. before HOT i use maybe two builds.
Right now i play +- 6 build on Thief which are viable, which would be unthinkable before HOT
A dead horse is beaten only so many times. With the last patch we saw the pinnacle of cyclejerk – complaints over complaints about traps, even though there wasn’t any change in their mechanics. What happened is that the changes in other parts of Guardian made the class more viable, and so the Guardian population bloomed. Yet nobody even complained about these obvious buffs. It was always traps. And those who complained were always in the lower tiers in PvP, as how “OP” traps were they couldn’t carry Guards in high level or tournaments. So traps were essentially (although I dont like to use this term but I simply dont know an alternative) noob-killers.
Traps held us back from other, meaningful buffs for a long time. Its a dumb skill type that require enemies to be dumb. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like them one bit – but also can’t afford to ignore them entirely due to their sheer power. If the next balance update toned them down or even nerfed it to spirit weapon tier, but buff our core utilities meaningfully (not just a cooldown change) I wouldn’t bat an eye.
What do you guys think?
I use traps in PVE because only traps make DPS like utilite slot skills.
In PvP is really dumb go full traps because is really easy avoid all DMG and you are without defenses utility skills, only really bad players die on traps.
In Dia/Lege I rarelly see more then two guardians in game (0-1 in team) because there are better alternatives.
Ambush will simply become Thieves Guild so one of them would have to change.
But +1 for the circle trap.
no one uses the elite thieves guild and also not necessarily . if you can have 4 thieves out now you can burst some one fast or even do 1v2
Thief guild + Ambush trap have synergy with Venomshare.
Direct DMG on Thief traps is really dumb and why ? Every single time when trap make DMG interupt your stealth =)
yes and this is the reason why no one use traps. thief need dmg utilities . thief use mainly his evade now and not his stealth (unless he plays condi dodger thief who use 1 trap and can be perma stealth with no reason)
Thief is class without CD on main DMG skill, no he really does not need more skills with DMG.
BTW maybe it will be news to you but 80% DD utility skills make huge DMG =)
Why doesn’t Anet listen to us?!? 98% post in sPvP secrion is only river of tears from bad players.
My opinion is that spvp section should be made available to players who are level Dia+ maybe Lege+. It is very tiring every day to read posts from Amber players who have just crying

They are so badly designed. This whole trapper thing is so ridiculous. “Dragon Hunter”, what is the dragon supposed to land on the traps? Or is he supposed to pull a dragon with the rope he can throw out? He can pull a dragon?!
And the gameplay? What do they do? stand and Auto until you walk into their traps.
And their traps deal way to much dmg! I’ve tanked up my build this season just because Guardians and Thiefs are so ridiculous. But still guards can just delete me. They delete all my friends too. No matter what clases or builds we play. just step on a trap and you loose 80 % of your HP. Just a pixel splash on the screen…
I have just zero respect for the game developers at this point. So weak and weird decisions being made…
Wont spend much more time with GW if this is going to keep up. None of my friends either. This is just something of the worst we ever seen in a game..

Thief is just hard countered by warrior and guardian and revenant, That is why they complain. There are classes that at a certain level of skill are impossible for them to win vs. a Pro league thief could lose to a decent guardian.
Kidding right ? Thief does not hard conter. I have no idea why this definitly bad player write on forum this mistification.
Maybe is time to L2P, crying on forum really dont increase your personal skill.

I always thought that traps should not be traited with CC. Dragon’s Maw is fine, since it’s the traps purpose to CC. But even the 1/2 s traited Daze on all of them is too much.
@emkelly You sounded like you were suggesting you don’t want to be hit by a trap at all. Is that the case? ToF is absolutely and completely avoidable even without dodging. It’s not unblockable or anything. Blocking the trap will block the daze as well. As a DD if you completely avoid the trap, why would you need to reset? I can’t see your point.
Go and use traps without this trait and show me how many players you hit or kill. I use only one traps and I use it only on daze heal or interupt stomp.

Guardian has all the protection based solely on the block
My solution on wery easy kill guardian is change Discipline trait line to Arms and use Signet Mastery trait, combinate with Signet of Might make all your attack unblockable over 12 sec every 25 sec.
BTW: unblockable Rampage is funny to

I’m glad I left PVP behind with GW1. Sounds just as frustrating as back in the day. The sooner Anet separates balance for all game modes, the better.
The balance will not solve anything, GW2 have dodge and active defense mechanics. In every single game bad players cry on forum becose any one single patches dont increase their personal skill =)
Eval.2371 Guardian and passive defenses ? Guardian is not Warrior or Engineer with passive defences, guardian have all defences like active skills.
Only Hunter’s Determination CD 45 sec gain aegis after CC and Valorou’s defences make aegis on 5 sec 30 sec CD when your HP drop under 50%.
And please don’t tell we that you can’t dodge one simple Spear of Justice – because if that’s the case all the advise here will be useless for you.
What? Spear of Justice is impossible to intentionally dodge. If you manage to dodge it, it’s by random luck.
