Good idea because Condition DMG is realy low.
Condition DMG has a +-30% DPS as Direct hit DMG.
2800 Condition DMG -> Bleed DMG 183/2745(15 stack) DPS, Burning 1028 DPS, Poison 360 DPS = 4133 DPS.
I make with same gear/food/might stack 5.5-9k per autoattack crit hit vs 3 targets = 11-18k DPS (Autoattack speed is 0.5 sec per hit)
Warrior make 42k+ Hundred Blades every 8sec, 3.5 sec cast time = 12k DPS without full might stack.
Yep but i prefer S/P with 0/10/0/30/30

I think it would go a long way to reduce the duration of the blind field. 3 seconds duration, maybe even 2. (I’d prefer 2, black powder is a huge crutch)
6 initiative and 2 sec blind ? You must kidding right ?
BTW All autoattack has 130+ range and Black Powder radius is maybe 110 diameter 220, tell me where is problem ?

Basically, very skilled top tier players learned how to use S/D to avoid almost all burst while dealing significant damage.
On the flip side, very, very bad players complained about very bad perma-stealth players ganking them in WvW
But, thieves are not really getting nerfed because they are getting a 33% higher base initiative regen. These changes are good for the class in general in my opinion. We might even see the return of d/d to competitive play with the improved initiative regen
WoW 9,5 ini per 10 sec vs new 11 ini per 10 sec, Arena net really boost initiative regen !!!! lol And big nerf Opportunist. And nerf all vigors durations on thief for -50%

Ini regen will be worse in general. Opportunist was that good, actually this is a major nerf to s/p, once again.
I think not so much. At 1 attack per second and a crit every .75 attacks over 15s
Old: 15 * .75 = 11.25 crits over 15s. 30%/1s cooldown = 3.375 init regen
New: 15 * .75 = 11.25 crits over 15s. 50%/5s cooldown = 3 init regenA thief will be pegging a net loss regen every 45 seconds of sustained attack. These are of course rough numbers but still the effect isn’t going to be particularly dramatic at least on this change. Slower attack chains will notice even less.
In PVE you attack vs 3+ NPC = 100% chance the added 1 inni every one sec = 5 ini every 5 sec, new added 1 ini evey 5 sec —-> nerf as hell

Right now i am running sigil of fire for wvw…
New sigil of torment is really bad, 6 sec torment every 7 sec must be joke. 106/213 dmg per sec * 6 633 /1282 with 2000 condition dmg vs sigil of fire every 7 sec 2500/5360 hit/crit hit with 3000 power.
Condition dmg+big armor and HP regen and you kill everything, if you use undead runes you have 1050+condition dmg and 4000 arnor, in wvwvw will have 32k hp and 2000 condition dmg.
Condi dmg with mace+shield and GS? Oh my, it’s really crazy op.
What ? Mace shield ?? Look on inventory i play S/sword or s/shield + long bow. Mace+shield with greatesword is on me power build.

Actually engineer has the highest hps with medkit (550 hps + more stuff with 20 points in tools and 0 healing power). It’s much harder to use, but this is what keeps alive SD builds.
I just wanted to point that out, not saying Healing Signet is not strong.

Aah but you already got 30 into defense (refer to 2x endure pain)… and i hope you got 15 in discipline..and 10 in arms for unsuspected foe..

No one minds having good competitive Warriors to play with and against, thing is atm every single warrior is competitive, even the ones that played the profession for 5 min, skill is not a requirement to play warrior atm and that is simply lame…
Also lame is coming to the forum whining about other ppl whining. -_-’

You miss the point completely. Warriors shouldn’t be worse than every other class. They just shouldn’t be OP. They are currently OP.
1 Not every warrior build is OP
2 there are still many other classes with OP builds, but they have maybe only 1 OP build (see post above)But almost every warrior build rely on healing signet, and most traits in defense traitline..
That’s what people want to nerf (and ALLOT more..), and if you nerf those skills/traits there are none good builds left for warriors.. you not only nerf the OP builds but also good (balanced) builds.
Sure nerf the kitten healing signet (i am done with that whining)
But after that don’t touch a single skill/trait! because its a full year waiting to get some good traits/skills on warriors..
first we got nerfs (frenzy mostly)
After that we where waiting a year for some buffs for sustain
Mostly: Dogged march > cleansing ire > healing signet (other healing skills also) > berserkers stance
But also some nerfs like heightneted focus/bersekers powerLet me see on other class and his 6 healing skills.

Many blocks > mace shield > ok
enemy controls > mace stun > still valid
best mobility > what? so at this build i think you run mace/shield + GS.. you say rush is the best mobility?? ….
Rush 1200-1550 30 range + Whirlwind Attack 450 and yes warrior is the only class that is able to travel this big distance in this short time when he use only weapon skills
1550(20sec CD)+450(10sec CD)=2450 every 20 sec→Best mobility on battlefield

A thief can hit a warrior for 9k easily…even if you’re a bunker.. you’re going to lose 200g because AK does it..all the time..and it’s dumb

Why don’t you give us more info, like your build, skills you saw on the thief, and a larger view of the damage log. Just showing us two numbera isn’t particularly helpful unless you made this thread to complain rather than to get an answer.
Just warrior in bunker build with lot of toughness. If thief can stab for 9k me, how it’s should damage to berserkers? Bers ele have like 12k hp, he should die instantly.

Yeah 9k I have full ascendent gear(berserker) with 2x lendary and me max BS is 7.8k vs Warrior.
Next time dont use FRENZY

Let’s make it clear, since you don’t get what is an invulnerability. berserker stance and endure pain are not invulnerability. mist form and renewed focus are what invulnerability is, second of all, you have no stability. 3rd of all, adrenaline health ticks every 3 seconds. 4th of all you only have 1 condition removal, which if you use it, your regen drop by alot, not to mention you have no healing. and no berserker stance is not a condition removal. 5th of all with your s/s lb set up you are not any faster then most of the classes perhaps slower. and last of all, you do kitten damage

thing is, i don’t even need to 1v1 you, its not like win or lost in 1v1 will make you win this argument, 1v1 would only prove skill wise. in fact i already won this argument, because the build you posted is already 80% incorrect from the “6 condition removal with 3 invulnerabilities while having stability and having 700 hp per second regen.” you have stated above.

Let’s make it clear, since you don’t get what is an invulnerability. berserker stance and endure pain are not invulnerability. mist form and renewed focus are what invulnerability is, second of all, you have no stability. 3rd of all, adrenaline health ticks every 3 seconds. 4th of all you only have 1 condition removal, which if you use it, your regen drop by alot, not to mention you have no healing. and no berserker stance is not a condition removal. 5th of all with your s/s lb set up you are not any faster then most of the classes perhaps slower. and last of all, you do kitten damage

Warrior, in my mind, is the best profession by far for getting the WvW achievements. Just go GS S/WH with PTV and a defensive set up and hop in a zerg. It’s the best profession for getting to the capture circle and surviving through the capture. It’s the number one profession in the game for fastest WXP when zerging as a result also.
Thief in full solder gear and with dagger/pistol+short bow will tag more and move faster for zerg tagging,and with stealth will never die if zerg get wiped :P
It’s still not going to give better WXP overall, though.
Best WXP has and always will be Karma Trains. Nothing else compares…………..
Yes exactly and warrior is the number one profession for getting WXP through karma trains hands down. Second fastest profession, 33k hp, 3.8k toughness, 6 condi removals, 3 invulnerabilities, stabilities, and 700 hp per second through heal sig + trait. This means it is the best profession for getting to the capture circle when taking defended stuff and staying alive in the cap circle.
please tell me how you get 2 sets of armor 10 utilities and have 30/30/30/30/30 on your char.

Same problem one patch back stopped working blur effect on Charr Thief.
Kill Shot is a highly telegraphed channel. It’s fine.
Warrior ability to shrug off all conditions and dash/charge away while passively regaining all their health and immune to CC is what needs nerfed.
No skill regardless of telegraph should 1 shot anyone, glass cannon, upleveled, or otherwise.
In a 1v1 you’ll be able to see the telegraph and avoid it, but as soon as more people get involved it gets exponentially easier to get it off. Enemies on a wall defending a tower? What are the chances they see the warrior doing killshot in 30+ people? Of course if seeing the telegraph is your point of balance there are tons of skills that should be 1-shotting people all over the place. Pretty much any ability in the game the requires an enemy to sit in it should do 15k damage, but they aren’t balanced for that because that would be stupid…
Balance in this game is an absolute joke because there is no rhyme or reason to most of it. It starts with each classes base health and armor and only gets worse with each ability. Oh your in lower armor in melee range with lower base health, clearly your melee attacks should do less damage than the higher health higher armor classes. You have lower base health lower armor and your ranged attacks STILL do less damage than a higher health higher armor class?! That’s before we even get into telegraphs and hard to land attacks. There is nothing special about Kill Shot that should allow it to do the damage it does. There are plenty of other attacks in the game that are easily avoidable and harder to pull off that don’t do nearly the same damage.

I figure you’re asking for this as a means of promoting using Venoms for solo builds, while not technically hurting the current Venom share builds. However, I have to say that Venom sharing isn’t that common of a build to begin with, so I don’t see any reason for Venomous Aura to have such a downside.
If you want to lower the cooldowns, rather have the effects downscaled accordingly over punishing one of the only builds that actually uses Venoms.
Because Venomous aura with 28 sec CD would be too strong.

You can pretty much guarantee that on patch days we are constantly keeping a close eye on forums as well as online most the day in-game. This however is basically an all day every day occurrence. We do our best at finding issues that pop up from the release as fast as possible.
Reporting bugs that pop up on patch days are incredibly useful to us. To ensure we know about it you can always pm me or Josh, we can give you answers. This forum space isn’t really the place for debate about bug awareness however.
PTR server reveal 80% bugs and “OP unbalanced” things during the first hours.
Why we dont make PTR server ?

An a venomous aura buff that does nothing to address the fact that venoms are worthless unless you trait heavily into them.
And a very slight Lotus poison buff.
And I’m not sure how the stunbreaker portion of shadow trap is intended to work with a 1.5s cast time, unless now it’s only a stunbreaker when its been tripped.
Yep this cast time is really funny But ArenaNet make compensation “Shadow trap” heal you for 850 hp.
Now Warrior use F1 stun and 100B.Dont worry i use this super stun break with 1.5 sec cast time and warrior disappear me only 60% HP instead 85%
