Hm … interesting changes. Let’s have a look at my personal expectations …
Spear of Justice:
Increased missile velocity by 100%.
Reduced the casting speed from 3/4 second to 1/4 second.
Reduced recharge from 25 to 20.
Expectations: none
Wings of Resolve:
This ability now removes Immobilize at the beginning.
Cooldown has been reduced from 50 seconds to 30.
Expectations: Rework trait Soaring devastations and make Wings of Resolve to be blast finisher. Increase landing damage by 30-40%.
Shield of Courage:
Reduced the cast to 0.25 seconds.
This ability now blocks all attacks from the front.
Expectations: none
Puncture Shot:
Increased missile velocity by 66%
Expectations: none
True Shot:
Damage increased by 12.5%
Expectations: increase damage by 20-30%
Deflecting Shot:
Reduced missile velocity by 25%.
Increased base damage by 13%.
Destroying a projectile with this ability increases the damage it deals by 100%.
Increased the blocking radius by 33%.
Expectations: none
Symbol of Energy:
Increased missile velocity by 60%.
Increased symbol damage by 10%.
Expectations: increase damage by 20-30%
Traps:
Reduced the cast time of all traps to 1/2 second, down from 1 second.
Expectations: Reduced casttine atlist from 1 to 0.5 sec (hey, do they realy read my minds ) but they didn’t made Traps as Light fields. You’re creating a new specializtions, c’mon make it unic!
Piercing Light:
While activating, traps will now daze enemies in the radius for 1 second.
Trap recharges are reduced by 20%.
Expectations: Change conditions from Bleeding to Fire (we’re guardians after all and mostly depends on fire damage)
Hunter’s Determination:
This trait has been reworked to apply aegis to the guardian and drop a Fragments of Faith trap at their location when controlled.
Expectations: added 3sec of fire damage to damaged enemies.
Hunter’s Fortification:
This trait has been reworked to remove conditions when blocking attacks.
In addition, receive less damage when you have no conditions on you.
Expectations: add 2 stacks of might on virtues activating and reduce virtues recharge by 1 sec for every ally affected by virtues.
Dulled Senses:
Enemies you knock back are crippled.
Enemies you cripple are also inflicted with vulnerability.
Expectations: none
Zealot’s Aggression:
This trait now allows Justice’s passive effect to cripple.
In addition to dealing extra damage to crippled enemies.
Expectations: none
Heavy Light:
Longbow arrows knock back when enemies are within the range threshold.
Gain stability when you knock an enemy back.
Expectations: added reduce Longbow skills by 20%. (it’s grandmaster trait after all)
60 euro core game 3 years ago and 50$ for HOT. The game is worth every penny paid for!
Please, ANet – if there’s different players who love the new warhorn sound and who doesn’t – just make some in game switch in Main menu – Options – Sound options – Warhorn sound and let the players decide what is best for them.
This new sound is OUGHFUL and it makes me stressed already …
So when Revenant was data-mined/released, I fell in love with the class, and planned to main it once HoT came out, but after playing it in the beta and now seeing Berserker in action and the reveal of Daredevil, I think Revenant is going to have to go to the backburner for me.
I might still play one so that I can get that cool armor set for my Berserker Warrior; hopefully that armor isn’t too hard to get.
Anyone else had a similar experience thinking they were going to main Rev but are now doing an elite instead?
I don’t know what are you talking about … Condition revenant is more then EPIC in PVP and PVE. Mallyx and Shiro Legends makes you feel good

Charrmobile and charrcopter also very interesting but there will be no deal cause GW2 has no mounts/vehicles for personal use in open world.
Asura’s has golems but none of them is able to use the Golem for personal use in direct (get inside and be able to use engineer’s golem unic abilities – mechwarrior). In my opinion that would be fun.

In order to make these skills (means different conditions) more reliable in combat and prevent unintended behavior, we’ve normalized them so that movement-speed increases or decreases do not impact the distance traveled by your character.
I have one simple question – Why are they doing this? 1st ArenaNet makes trait system much more simple with no chances to player use their own variations of lesser/minor/great traits instead of picking 3 of 5 trait lines. Now they making condition dmg based on your characters stats – ok, that will do, but who’s idea was to destroy life-based combat system when crippled foe can jump forward (or so) the same distance as like no cripple affecting him? same thing with swift – when you can jump further if you’re running on high speed. Today. we’re using cripple and freeze to lower foe’s movement so he could not escape and to have advantage in close/range combat. Due to currently changes – guards, thives, warriors and whoever has leaps and etc. will no longer be bothering in their movement during combat which makes cripple 50% uneffective then before, freeze also.

Dungeons, boss’s farm, use laureals to buy T6 maths and etc.

1. Return the old style items with invisibility back to their normal stance – when they had no cooldown (I really don’t care if they could make PVE Dungeons (or PVE content) more easier – I just like when you have more than one way to go thru*)

2. Makes players to able to use condition damage builds in PVE dungeons ‘cause its sound like nonsense when you can be kicked only because you use none-berserker or even play without direct damage oriented gear.
3. As for the Fractals (it’s also PVE dungeons) – can you please destroy Your 4-dungeons-system and replace it with 1-great strong and difficult dungeon? I really hate when “you” waste your time and have nothing in the end because of players you are playing with.
Make the game be more player-oriented and less based on “how We want You to play”. Think of it ‘cause sometimes you destroy everything we like and enjoy.

Convert different conditions into Corrosion
Each stack of Bleed/Poison/Fire = 1 stack of Corrosion
- 25 stacks at maximum
- 3 sec duration per stack
- Dmg modifier: Condi.dmg and Power
Vulnerability
- 25 stacks at maximum
- 1 stack = +0,5 % Dmg to Structures

Well done! Every class is now usefull against structures.

For example I really enjoy playing League of Legends – having fun time. But GW2 lack such things – looks like something is over-designed (good but difficult).

Content will remain the same! By using Tomes you will only be able to use it’s full potentional and play " in normal way" from the very begining. Btw what is your suggest for all the players who has planty of those Tomes ? it’s their right to use them in a way to lvlup the Revenant and increase the Mastery lvls.

1. There was a problem with Wyverne fight when the Boss was randomly appears and dissapears on the platform before and after the flight-firebreathe-phase.
2. I got 3 crashes right after the Wyvern landing when i was close to the Boss.
3. I couldn’t use Mushrooms to jump with 1 point in new Mastery system – is it right?

Nah, its the way how your opinion can be perceived. My point is that RNG looks fine but to much RNG is realy bad! Even if i already got the Luminescence gear i hope “Carapace Coat Box” situations won’t happen again.
As i remember Asura’s gate system was built on underground energy source which core was the Primordus (elder dragon) itself. So Asura’s shoud knew about HOW to use this energy especialy when they understand that sylvari has the same energy potential (i mean the elder dragon energy). Don’t you think ? As for sylvari – we met a dragon in our nightmare from the very begining and kill it which could be the resistance of Pale Tree against the dragon’s influence. However we should not forget that words about sylvari as a dragon minions is just only a single piece in ONE BIG CIRCLE OF LIFE where information could be understood in different ways.
So lets just wait what ANET prepearing for us )))
No, he’s just saying that everything is fine and the main problem – players themselves. And if RNG is absolutely random situations, then the game is truely fine. In our case it’s just simple trolling without any further suggestions ’cause the main reason to exclude such RNG situations in future. (in my homble opinion)

A little random chance and BOOM! I don’t see the problem at all, if you really want it – you will make 100+ runs and become it soon or late.
I would prefer to spend my time with more profit but not on this Vinewrath boss. It was fun at the first times but no longer. I’ve completed all achivements and can freely play without any doubt of losing something interesting via SW location.
For those who would gladly make 100+ runs to obtain something – there’s Fractal Dungeon with it’s unic weapon skins.
hello, I just get one caparace coat box, but I chose the wrong piece of armor, I need a heavy coat but I misclicked the light coat, what should I do? could you reset it for me? I don’t want to spend another two or three days in SW anymore.
I think you just need keep trying. Mostly even miss-forged precursors can’t be restored.
To think about … i would prefer an achivement title Bloodthirsty after killing huge amount of Dragons (daily Jormag, Kralcatorik etc.) + additional same achivement chest with unic armor piece (or even beckpack … oh YES!) skin which makes your weapon movements leave bloody trails within combat … sounds nice

Here’s the thing, they apparently want to incentivize people to do the world boss, so we have to work inside that. My idea does that. They’re not going to increase the drop rate to 100%

Personally I’m not in favor of a token system. We have plenty of those and they invariably just take up more bank space because they refuse to add anything to the wallet.
Instead they should make things like the carapace skins available through a reward track or repeating achievement. Kill the boss 5 times and get a carapace chest, choose your reward and repeat.
These are systems that are already in place and are easily adapted to the problem.
The token system is already implemented via Dungeon-Vendor items so it wont be to hard to make something similar. Anyway we’re apending time to kill the SW Bosses and it’s almost the same as we doing dungeon runs. But in situation with SW we dont get any guarantee except of few rares. It’s only my thoughts
The drops are random. The game is functioning just fine, as proved by those who have gotten a box, or more than one box.

The game works fine in gameplay mode. It’s not lagging, bosses are killable and sometimes we even got good drop but your understanding of RNG itself is kind a erroneously. Even if you using RNG you should not avoid the interests of different players with different playstyle. ATM Vinewrath gives you a few rares and a chance of Carapace Coat Box as a reward from Big Chest. But don’t you think that reward could be more desireable ? why don’t you make ONE Carapace Armor Box wich could give players a chance to choose Needed Carapace Armor ? not just the coat but every available. For those who came later and don’t have amount of chrests to buy staff from the vendor it would a great possibility to gather luminescence set via battle with your lovely Boss. And this issue of RNG tracing us all over the game.
Sometimes i realy don’t understand what your designers and master-minds are thinking about ….
Maybe a successful boss event can drop one token. Get X tokens and you can turn them in for one Carapace coat box. Worth a silver each for those who have all 3 boxes so they can vendor them.
token isnot a bad idea btw. but in my opinion it should be exchangeble not only for Carapace Armor Boxes. Vendor has a lot of things )
Here, you want a suggestion: Make it so you can buy a coat box for 10k crests. YES, that’s a lot, and 10 times more than the other boxes, but this incentives people to do the boss, while at the same time, giving them a path to get the box, without totally having to rely on rng.
This is not a suggestion – its madness and absolutely stupid idea.
These are suggestions:
1. Make every “Armor Box” available to purchase from the Silverwastes vendor right after completing the “needed part” of the story line. Sale price 1000 krests.
2. Add “Armor Box” as a reward from completing each part of the living story. On every next completing of the same story line, with alts, players can choose a reward between “Armor Box or Black Lion Key”.
3. Increase the drop rate of Carapace Coat Box to 100% from the Vinewrath Boss. ATM your RNG sucks.
4. Add “Carapace Armor Box” container with a possibility to choose not only the Glove Box but every Carapace Armor Box available in the game ATM. Make labyrinth be more usefull for those who likes it.

3 days straight 70+ runs and NOTHING. QQ
is it possible ? 70+ succesefully completed events in 72 hours ? don’t lie to us

the boss fight is fine, the story line is awesome with its ending but RNG makes me sad.

Eventualy, ANET could add Boxes into PvP reward tracks as it was with Ambrite weapons materials or just makes the 100% drop rate from the boss. As for me, it tooks 6 or 7 successfull boss-kill-events until i got 2nd and 3rd coat boxes. I guess i can call myself lucky.
