I agree, some terrain which shouldn’t be challenging for mounts need adjusting. However, you can jump on a mount without using endurance. The option “Disable Conditional Mount Movement Ability Input” makes it so much easier, confining the mount special movements to the dodge key, instead of the spacebar.

You’re intended to do multiple things for a legendary. Saving Badges of Honor from achievement chests is not legendary. The vendor may not have been removed had badges not been awarded in AP chests, but that damage has been done.

I 100% disagree of putting that sort of power creep behind mastery points Orpheal. It would punish new players getting into certain content such as Fractals and Raids (We already have enough of “kps, 500+LI , Title” etc requirements, there shouldn’t be a “Max mastery” ontop of that)

The purpose behind repair is very simple. It punishes you for dying.
Anet removed repair costs to equalize it between new and veteran players.

I love the idea of a Schrödinger’s Cat as one of the home instance cats, but I agree it would be a hard thing to portray and if it actually involved the cat being dead (even temporarily) it could be controversial.

I think making it an undead cat in a box could be the way to go. Because then it is both living and dead at the same time – which is what Schrödinger’s Cat is supposed to be, and in a way that works within GW2.

Schrödinger’s Cat is pretty well known. I think most people know the basics of it being a thought experiment involving a cat in a box and there being no way to know if it’s dead or alive until you look.

What’s less well known is why this concept even came up or what it has to do with quantum physics. On more than one occasion when I told someone I studied behavioural biology they gave that as an example of what they thought I was studying. That and teaching dogs to ring bells when they want food.

To be honest I don’t fully understand it myself. But then I could never get my head around quantum physics. I’m a biologist, we deal with the real world, not hipster maths pretending to be relevant.

Hmm, I don’t think quantum physics is ‘hipster’ or pretending to be relevant at all (quantum physics is very relevant) Most people even partially clued up know why this thought experiment exists in explaining quantum mechanics.

I use thief/daredevil, permanent swiftness and shortbow for tags.

There’s always Necromancer/Reaper with staff and wells.

That… honestly sounds like a bug, you might want to report it formally. I assume you’ve double and triple checked that you have the correct armor set for the upgrade you’re performing? (WvW armor is incompatible with the PvP upgrade for example.)

I have four Ascended sets from PvP, which take on the names from each stat selection, such as Grymm Svaard (Marauder Stat Selection).

I double checked and none of my precursor sets would work because I have selected already the stats. Very disappointing tho.

Here’s 1 piece of my Ardent armor if I put it into the forge. Note at the bottom (Transmuted, Ardent Glorious Crown) That is the real item, and behaves as such.

On my sylvari, I modified names to fit flowers into a basic syllable I wanted, relating it to the cycle I chose the characters birth in (dusk, dawn, day or night)

For example, if your character is born during dusk/night pick a night blooming flower. Nymphaea Red Flare is a night bloom water Lillie, it’s pink/purple in colour, so in your case you’d get the name “Zephaea”.

I’m not sure that Danikat owns all of that. I think they were trying to show the “most prestigious in slot” skins via the preview window.

IWN is totally right, there’s good looking armor that is cheap to obtain, mixed with each other. Creativeness > Expensive/rarity imo.

Actually;
Triumphant Armor (from the reward track) is tier 1. You need this tier to buy T2.
Triumphant Hero’s armor is T2.
Mistforged Triumphant + Sublime Chest is T3. Each piece can only be bought once the equivalent Triumphant Hero’s armor (tier 2) piece has been purchased, and have a minimum WvW rank requirement of 1500-2000.

So there is no naming problems here.

Legendaries are exactly that. Legendary. It takes however long it takes, the requirements are the same for every player.

My first legendary took me 6 months to build, this was 3 or 4 years ago, before the guaranteed way of precurser crafting.

I have a full time job and hobbies outside of gw2 aswell but here I am, with 7 bound Legendary Weapons, 3 crafted and sold Legendaries and 2 legendary backitems. All it takes is persistance.

Ofcourse, the keys are valid if they work, it is how they are paid for that would render it fraudulent. You buy a key from one of these sites where there are customers who report accounts get banned because of the key not being valid, that’s the risk. All keys fraudulently obtained will be locked, because Anet didn’t receive the money, due to chargebacks from the stolen cards that were used for the purchase in the first place, that got you that really good discount. You lose your money to the 3rd party, Anet locks your account. Some keys may be legit, others wont be, it’s a lucky dip.

You have to use points in WvW abilities for Provisions Master.

These points are character based, not account based.

If you mainly play thief and ele, your strongest choice is dagger, closely followed by Staff (daredevil) and maybe sword (ele Weaver uses sword).

If I’m thinking of the same location, there’s two stones on that ledge (where the botanists are?) one goes to another Story teller collection can’t remember which, and the other to Lyssa storyteller.

As above, gliding is very useful imo.

There are a few collection achievements that award Ascended boxes of Armor and Weapons. (Bioluminescent, Leystone, Ambrite weapon collections to name a few). Check your achievement panel and look around at what is rewarded for tasks.

Elite Specialisation collections also give a related weapon to the profession you complete it for (eg shield for Chronomancer.)

Boxes can drop ingame, high tier fractals, PvP, raids and WvW.

Rings you can buy from fractals, they’re easy to earn aslong as you do the dailies.

Doing guild missions will give enough commendations to buy one accessory a week.

Laurels can be used for rings and accessories too.

The new LS3 maps offer ascended trinkets for Unbound magic and specific map currencies.

The most reliable way to make sets of armor and weapons is to craft them. Visit gw2crafts.net for complete guides which are refreshed when opened, to give the most efficient way to level each craft.

Bolts projectile effect is either bugged, or unfinished and needs reverting/reworking.

I hate the projectile effect because you are throwing Zap, not Bolt. There’s very little to no lightning effect and no trail.
I also feel very cheated out of an effect which should be, well, legendary. They did well with the other projectile effects, just not Bolt.

You can only get Gift of Battle from the reward track in WvW.
Gift of Exploration is not linked to Gift of Battle at all, nor is it salvageable.

It would be ok if there was electricity flying with the blade, with the same intensity Meteorlogicus has. I hope that it’s actually a bug.

The trailer assumes your PC didn’t kill Scarlet. It was 3yrs ago. Many characters playing will not have witnessed the LS, therefore having their PC in the cinematic wouldn’t make sense.
