Most days, my sigil of energy doesn’t refill my endurance bar. It seems to have only started happening recently, as in since one of the last few LA patches. I know that I have 2 of these on a specific weapon set of mine, but they do not proc. Yes, I am in combat, so they should give me endurance back when I swap.
Is this a known bug? It’d be awesome if it was fixed sometime soon.
I’m guessing we’ll see it with the next update. Magnus was constantly yelling about his eyes during the LA event, so maybe he’ll need an eye patch soon.
lol. I can’t believe we actually got the first NA kill.
Used to get a lot from dungeons as well, not sure why they removed it from them. In order to get enough karma for my last legendary, I ran fractals non stop for a few days. Really unpleasant and turned me off from doing another one, but it worked at the time.
I also need obi shards and have been running fractals. My mesmer is at fractal 11 and running a fractal 1 with a karma boost, banner boost, guild boost, and food boost gives me about 11.4k karma per set. That’s w/o the karma infusion on the amulet.
I’m somewhat of the mindset that the prices wont stay this high, especially for underwater weapon precursors.
Before this patch, no one wanted underwater legendaries. I doubt that a few more sparkles or schools of fish will make people want them more.
The bard might stay high, but I’m not sure. I bought it when it was 40g a week or so ago, but I’ve soulbound it to make the Minstrel in a few weeks. People complain about the Minstrel’s skin, not just it’s lack of effects, so I’m not sure that adding effects will make it more desirable and keep the precursor price “high”, especially with the possibility of a new focus legendary coming out “soon”.
I just checked the spidy and the price is at 130g, so it seems to be somewhat dropping. Guess we’ll see what happens when the patch lands on Tuesday.
Heylo, your piece is finished. Enjoy!
O.O ohmygoodness It’s beautiful! Thank you!
Heylo, here is my sketch of your piece. Reply here or PM me if the pose is satisfactory. I’m going to make your boyfriend’s character a bit taller in the final piece, hence the weird forehead.
oh my goodness, i am so in love with this! It’s going to be awesome.
Thought I might get a decent response to my question but nope Idiots just like the game troll all you want I’m off to play WoW.
WONT BE BACK
LOL. don’t forget to log out of the forums when you leave.
I used to DC all the time, but then I switched to a different router and that fixed it. /shrug so there are lots of potential issues and fixes.
That said, I totally came to this thread thinking it’d be all about the Moot and partying with it. disappointed :\
I’ve been looking for an open server since the last patch and haven’t seen one. I really want to make some clovers, but nothing is open.
Last night, I guested on to NSP because I saw they were working on it, but it failed due to lack of people. Then, I hoped over to BP but they failed again due to lack of people. :\
I don’t want to buy karma boxes because I still need over a stack of obi shards and that hasn’t been a very reliable way for me to get them. Guess I’ll just buy my karma infusion and farm events until I can get a large enough force to open the temple on a server somewhere.
A. I’m obsessed. 2 down, at least 4 more to go.
I really love the 5 spread unicorns on ranger…but I think it should be based off what character you play most.
That said, I have The Moot on my guardian and it sits in my bag unless I’m playing around in town. :\ Kind of sad to have worked so hard and then have it be a back up (if ever) weapon.
I like to play with my friends. Whether we’re farming and chatting, dungeon running, or killing each other in sPvP, it’s always fun.
I also love the dungeons so as long as those are around, I’ll be here :P
Path 1 and 3 are really quick and fairly easy if you have some reflects and know the dungeon. Path two is also kind of short if you are running with someone who knows it.
@Bright: Those kegs…so awesome.
[EDIT] said path three twice.
(edited by Heylo.4938)
I have a friend who decided to do this and his legendary on the TP just got undercut and has been sitting there for a few days already. This is a gamble and I do not recommend it to anyone.
With the “promise” of precursor crafting and new legendaries on the horizon, i wouldn’t be surprised if, when these are announced, precursors take a bit of a drop in price due to people racing to the new legendaries.
Just work on everything else and save gold. It’s the most reliable way and farming gold is easy as pie with these new events.
GLHF!
The only thing I gather for myself is orichalcum ore when I’m working on a legendary. I could probably make the money to buy it in the time it takes to gather it, but I just like to be able to say, nope. Don’t need to spend THAT 40g. Everything else, I buy off the trading post.
Awesome! I’ll attach some images to this message and PM you in game about the price
He doesn’t have incin yet, so here are some references just in case. And, I decided on Sunrise, so I attached a photo or two of how my character walks with it and how the base looks.
I don’t really have any pose in mind, so I’ll just say go nuts and expect a PM in game soon

Meteorlogicus is fine exactly as it is.
Said no one ever.
Except the guy who owns the Minstrel.

Hi! I love these drawings! I’m really interested in getting an inked and shaded waist up image done of my guardian and my boyfriend’s elementalist, but I had a question…
How much would it be to add in a weapon in their hands? For example, I have a legendary GS and mace, and he’s almost done with the dagger…would that add on quite a bit to the price?
I’ll add some images to this post when I get home from work, just thought i’d jump in quickly with my questions before the queue builds up!
[EDIT] I wouldn’t want both legendaries on my character, just one. Not sure which one and was wondering if one would be easier for you to draw.
At first I was going to suggest a ranger, since they can give some boons with spirits i guess and have knockbacks…but since you don’t like medium armor and ranger can be frowned upon, i’d suggest going with a GS mesmer. your second weapon set can be w/e, but GS has a pushback and some good damage that you seem to be craving.
Mesmers with centaur runes have fairly constant swiftness, at least my friend does. He’s a Sword/Torch + GS mesmer with the centaur runes.
GS has one ground targeted skill, the rest are direct target.
This is the only class I can think of that meets all those requirements and isn’t mostly useless ranged *cough*guardian*cough*
I want the hairstyle that the human Omnom juice master has. That one is pretty cute. I hope it happens soon that we get access to these…
They stated recently that we would be able to craft precursors (god knows when). Just wait for those if you don’t want to deal with the RNG (which I agree is kinda bullkitten).
Recently???? this was said november/december last year!!! yes… keep waiting…
It was said like..last month in the post about the second half of the year. Supposed to be implemented some time before 2014…but we’ll see.
Precursors are the worst part of the legendary, to me. I have been incredibly lucky in both drops and taste (Dawn out of forge, Venom off Supply Camp, and 2 precursors off TP for 50g or less), but I still feel as though this system is bull kitten. I have about four guildies standing around with everything but the precursor trying to horde gold to purchase, gambling in small bits, and still attempting to get some enjoyment out of the game.
The OP has chosen not to purchase off the TP, which I can kind of understand. That said, I think everyone just kinda needs to wait this one out. No amount of forum posts are going to make this happen any sooner, as we’ve seen. Fingers crossed it happens soon. I had been hoping the crafting thing would be their anniversary present to us, but I guess a mini Jennah is on the same level….
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Where-s-the-Scavenger-Hunt-post/first#post1191312
7 Months ago people were already asking for an update on the scavenger hunt. It was announced even before that.
Yeah, I remember them announcing it forever ago, but they recently updated us on it again saying it’d be done by the end of this year. Do I believe them enough to not purchase my next precursor? No. But they have said something about it within the last few months, which, in your original post, you didn’t seem to know about.
I’m in the process of making the Minstrel and am crossing my fingers this gets some sort of update. I’ll still make it, regardless. Unless the new focus is like a cat or something, then I might be swayed
I know that the Minstrel plays music when you draw it and has music notes, but I’ve heard that can be buggy. If they’d just make that stable, I’d be content. Some sort of footsteps would be nice too though..or some sort of an aura or effect on your arm. Rodgort leaves fire footprints and sets your arm on fire…the focus should so something…

I am in the same boat, having just started the Minstrel. I’m worried that they’ll release a better legendary focus, but luckily for me, the Minstrel specific bits are cheap. I would love some feedback from the devs, but I doubt we’ll get it. Something like that could possibly shock parts of the economy.
Actually that could be a good thing, considering that the ‘top end of town’ (precursors, full legendaries, more expensive items for sale) are owned and more or less controlled by the elitists and gold sellers. Knocking them off their pedestal, albeit briefly, could be what the economy needs.
I don’t think that it would only knock those people down. It would affect more than just the prices of precursors and expensive items.
Some servers have WvW karma trains. You could see if yours does, then pop some karma food and boosters and eat all that purple stuff.
Farming the pavilion with karma boosters gets you lots of karma, and so does crazy dungeon running.
I’d say the easiest way is to pop some karma boosters (food, booster, laurel booster if there is one, guild bonus, guild banner, etc) and run around the pavilion for an hour. See how much you make there and decide if that’ll work. I think you can switch servers between spawns to get more events, but that could be difficult to manage.
I’m going to guess that the Gift of Mastery and Gift of Fortune will stay the same, as will the 100 Icy Runestones. So you can always work on that part and hope that by the time you get to the specific bits, there will be more news.

Are you looking for something on your home server or just anywhere in the NA universe?
I’ve found that AC1 and SE1 are definitely more worth my time and have become daily occurences for my guild. SE1 gives you 6 champ bags and the 1g end reward for about 15 minutes of dungeon running. Only thing that kittens is I don’t know what to do with these tokens.
I’m also finding more guildies willing to do HotW and TA than pre patch…they didn’t like the poison and sponges. /shrug
There should be dungeon achievement tracks somewhere and one of the dungeons will be lacking, but that’ll only work if you’ve run the majority of explorable paths. If you haven’t, then you’re probably going to resort to Cookie’s advice…or look up the story lines on wiki and see which one you don’t remember.
I picked up the Bard yesterday and am really hoping they update the Minstrel soon…but not gonna hold my breath.
I finished my lodestones yesterday. Snatched a bunch of cores up during the price drop after the patch. Need a few more days of ori runs and about 230g, and Sunrise will be mine! The end of August goal doesn’t seem too unreachable now.
I finished Sunrise on Monday and already have a new precursor in my posession. >.< Picked up the Bard yesterday due to it being only 40g. Not sure if I’ll make the Minstrel yet…but I’ll start on some parts.
I play because I made some great friends through the game and really love hanging out with them. I also love dungeons. Just love them. I hated dungeons in WoW, but for some reason I just love them in GW2. Might be the lack of a trinity so it’s a little less stressful, as far as parties staying alive.
I also love the armor and weapon skins. I come back every day to make sure I do my dailies and dungeon runs so that I can get more legendaries because they are just soooo pretty.
All my characters have beautiful armor and they just keep releasing more.
The living story stuff is also getting to be more entertaining for me, and I love achievement points.
Basically, I just love the game and have played every day since headstart (except maybe a weeks time of computerless vacation days)
This happens to me as well. It’s pretty annoying and I hope that there is something they can do, but there might not be. I’m just used to the disappointment of thinking something is 11s due to the weird text instead of its actual 17s.
I’m about to finish Sunrise and was planning on starting up on Flameseaker, Bifrost, or the Dreamer, but I think I’ll probably do what a lot of others in this thread are doing. I’ll be gathering materials for the Gifts of Mastery and Fortune and then just horde gold. I don’t want to get a staff or shield I’m meh about in case they release one that I love.
Why so much QQ? You can make more than 6.5g per day easily now! This is amazing for me, thanks Anet.
I can make 6.5g in an hour, lol. If it’s 6.5g a day that’s slow for me.
Doing what? One path of a dungeon? Yeah, go lie to someone else.
I don’t think they’re lying…. a guild group I was in yesterday was lazily running 5 dungeons for 2 hours and we made 9g a piece. By lazily, I mean we took breaks inbetween paths, didn’t bring our dps characters, and kittened around. If we had our serious faces on, we might have been able to smoosh four of those paths into an hour and make around 6g before selling, and we aren’t even awesome speed runners.
The main gripe I have is that previously I could ask my guild if anyone wanted to run a dungeon and get something going. The main dungeon runners have alts, so we are easy with going with whatever dungeon is suggested/requested.
Now that there is a disincentive to repeat a dungeon I’m seeing dungeon parties not fill from within the guild because people who would normally join on an alt (myself included), no longer want to because they ran it earlier.
This is happening in my guild too. If you don’t make it in time to be first in line for the dungeon groups, you’re not getting your dungeons done.
Someone earlier said to just buy armor, but I run dungeons to make money for my legendary while getting armor for my baby alts. Buying the armor just removes the point of that.
I’ve actually stopped leveling my alts this week because I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing with them whenever they hit 80.
I finished my Moot in…March, I believe. I have been working on Sunrise since May very halfheartedly, until I got incredibly lucky last Friday and got Dawn out of a the daily Mystic Forger trash attempts. So, now I’m going full steam.
Gift of Master – Need 52 shards
Gift of Fortune – Need 200 ectos and about half my t6 mats
Gift of Sunrise – Need 85 lodestones, and a smattering of the other mats, but I finished Gift of Metal.
Dawn – DONE.I did some math, and if I continue gathering Ori and salvaging for ectos, I only need about 550g. CoF, CoF!
Aiming to finish this one by the end of August. After that, I might take a break before starting Bifrost.

As soon as it gets a little bit more… difficult, people will always cry. Players don’t want to do all paths of a dungeon, they only want to do the easy one to get their rewards as easy and fast as possible. Which is sad, i hope they keep the changes. This is the first time in months that i’ve visited gw2lfg without seeing ‘’LF3M ZERK WARRIORS PING OR KICK’’ all over the site, which is kittening awesome. I love it.
Lazy people will always be lazy. Get your crap together and try some different paths for exchange, i promise you that you won’t get bored as fast.
I don’t think zerk warriors were farming tokens, and even if you run all three paths, you still get less tokens than before.
Also, this change wont make people run the disliked paths. It’ll just make less people run paths in general.
Also also, I don’t think running all three paths on multiple characters makes you lazy, which is what quite a few people that I know did when they wanted tokens.
I enjoy running dungeons on multiple characters
You are still allowed to run dungeons on multiple characters.
You could do a CoE P1 on one character, then a CoE P2 on another, then CoE P3 on another.
You can also pick and choose any of your characters to run a CoF P1, then choose another to run CoF P1 the next day.
The gold and token rewards are only for the first play through, so why run it a second time?
This is exactly the reason ANet choose to do this. People were running CoF P1 constantly for hours on end. It seems to be ANet’s opinion that people shouldn’t be devoting hours to running this one instance hundreds of times.
The gold reward was crippling to farmers, the token reward is crippling to people who want to run dungeons for the tokens. A hardcore dungeon farmer didn’t switch to alts for their second, third, seventieth paths, they stayed on one character because the tokens were of minimal importance to people.
Also, just to clarify, the change to the gold reward doesn’t bother me much, if at all. I’m not complaining about that.
(edited by Heylo.4938)
I wish that I had known this nerf thing was coming. I recently spent all my CoE, CoF, HotW, and Arah tokens on rares to salvage for ectos for Sunrise. A guildie criticized me and I said it wasn’t a big deal because, with 6 80s, getting the tokens back wasn’t a big deal. Now, I’m regretting my decision.
I enjoy some dungeon paths enough to run them multiple times a day as long as I’m getting tokens and some silver out of them. Now, I’ll get almost no tokens and very little silver. Guess I’ll just run a path once a day and move on.
I’m a little bummed because multiple dungeon runs was one of the only times I played some of my alts, aside from Ori farming. Now I’m worried they’ll make ori account bound. Better get my last few runs in, just in case!
Who this will hurt the most are my guildies who log on later than most and will want to run a dungeon, but the majority of us have already gotten our daily rewards. Prime time or bust!
[EDIT] for those saying these changes will make people more likely to run more paths of each dungeon, I’m gonna call BS on that. 1g will not make people run SE2 or TA F/U, or even CoF3, and 3g is still hardly an incentive for me to run Arah4 a third time.
(edited by Heylo.4938)
This was how tokens were awhile ago and they eventually changed it to tokens being character bound. Hopefully, they’ll change it back. I enjoy running dungeons on multiple characters, and right now, it’s just not really worth it, even if I love the dungeon. The gold and token rewards are only for the first play through, so why run it a second time?
I don’t find CM difficult, just less enjoyable than others. Plus, finding a group for it tends to be really annoying. I’m fine with the 1g reward here, I suppose. There are a few other dungeons that I’m a bit more upset by.
I tried twice with level 80 cheap exotics, didn’t get any precursors. Tried with some level 78 cheap exotics, got Dawn on my first try. Since then, I’ve tried probably 5 more time swith level 78-80 cheap exotics, and haven’t gotten anything memorable other than than a named mace.
Does that mean Charged Lodestones are going to be less than 3g a piece now? I wish I could log-in and see the fun but kitten sitting in my cubicle for 8 hrs.
same. My guildies are talking about powerful blood price drops and I have to tell them to stop. I still have 8 hours until I can get home to enjoy the spoils. I really hope they’re still priced low. -.-
That is amazing!! I hope that if you do paint it, you post more photos.
I put in two level 78 exotic pistols and a level 78 exotic shield with a stone and got Dawn. Since then, I’ve mainly gotten trakitten’s not the best way to go about getting your precursor, but it does happen.

Grats! Last Friday I was using up those mystic forge stones with some cheap level 78 exotics(2 pistols, 1 shield). Out popped Dawn, which is the precursor I wanted. I didn’t believe it at first, but then I flipped my kitten.
