As have a few alts parked thereat the story mission

As have did "Prisoners of the dragon "a few times I decided to do the achievements,

They are bugged out as the notes are grey and not able to pick up to complete this.

did not do the smiths . will hold this char at the story mission till ratified.

in game bug report may I say I have did this and also on looking for a reply on a ticket over 3 days. Have 49 chars over 30 with world complete

As my emails a lot of them via support going on since 4th nov

Sadly at this time we do not have the ability to apply experience towards masteries or supply you with mastery points. Everything is working for you correctly now right? The only way I could see you possibly getting anything regarding mastery experience and points is through the bug report you put in regarding this issue. Having freezing in heart of thorns and map is not demisting no matter how far I travel
to reveal map areas.

in normal world I am not getting any mastery points as xp bar at bottom is stuck at

635k/635k and has been for some time. made 2 revs one with world completion and cannot get further with mastery re bar is frozen as above.

there is no use taking my other rev into normal world as with this frozen bar.I want to make the second a herald and also want world complete on it for herald

this is only happing in normal world . If I take another char into heart of thorns its a new xp bar.

Update on another char and now in Divinity Reach it is not counting the Points Of Interest. It shows 1 poi done and I have over 4 done hence it again in this area not giving out the correct counter. This will prevent others who may wish world completion and it will bug out. I have not had any problems before and re my previous post its the towns the counter is broken and also shoe=wing in some the incorrect poi to be done…….

There is a bug in world completion as I have did this many times. its with regard to the POI It states have 1 to obtain although I have them all including chantry of secrets.

I think its in the 2 Cities Rata Sum and The Grove as, it tells you when you have 8 or 5 redone it says map complete. although there are a lot more in each town.

The main reason is the Gift of Exploration as it will not give myself it re this bug either in the 2 towns re incorrect number of pious or a bug of some other sort.

I think that the way it is not really great at all. As I am an altholic have levelled up chars to 80 under this and its not the right way. Many have suggested alternatives but , have you looked at the China release there are over 3.8 million playing. We in the West are below this number so, Anet (my opinion ) is trying to combine both east and west so that there is one way for updates overall.

I do hope they see the light and have the west play our way. So they can surley have a split for traits.

The report on the China players are on Reddit so we are the minority overall .They also said the new system was for new players .Yes it was but not new players here again my opinion (so a play with words) the new ones are China.

Surley they must realise that they are holding back in the hope that this dies down and it runs its course. I have spent a hellava lot of money in this game and hope they come to there senses

personally I think Anet doing a few things they don’t wish to split skills Pve/PvP so they try to balance as much as possible to satisfy both sides hence the ferocity aspect to see if this works . If it does, fine, if not then you may see a little split because there hand is forced to do so.

This was the case in GW1 when forced to do so only then a split of some skills will appear. Also sometimes outcry from the forums can have negative effects , they learned that also from there previous game . They adjusted by going what the forums asked and it backfired at times.

To me they are using the CDI /Balance forums to create the overall scene but to avoid any untoward implementation. Ok so I have to adapt on various things like before its the way of the world . Time will tell and what the future holds when LS is complete and what comes after .

I tend to disagree with this, this is my personal opinion I may add. I have 30 alts and never worried to much about anything I just play the way I want to as you do although some things are different if you have a lot of alts it does not interfere on how I play the game. every ones gameplay is different .

You say you want to have your alt on a budget as such ,just keep a note on what he/she makes in the game problem solved.

I have a lot of alts in exotic only does it worry me? not in the slightest that’s why I said everyone has a different views of how to play and react.

As far as laurels are concerned just do the same as I said re the bank/wallet then no action has to be taken by anet your gameplay is the same only YOU keep a record on how you wish to play my 2 cents worth may I add

Have to say why are the people complaining…the ones who do seem to think they are the ones who should go to queensdale and who should not …I ask how does it impact on you the ones who go there . I joined the train yesterday and there were 4 new guys not alts new ones who were praising the train.

So its server problem I think as on the train we arrived to see Oak dead so what , no drama everyone just mapped onto the next.
I seem to think and its a personal opinion that complainers are just using the new ones to the game who join gw2 as an excuse to satisfy there agenda nothing else.

Been having the same problem for a few hours Euro on US server had the same problem before

502 error gateway problems/ also some times after I quit the Tp it shows I am not connected to the game saying server issue /firewall ect but I am in game , can play so this is adding to the problem if you quit the TP when you cannot sell .

have 20 @ 80 and have 4 or 5 in the 40/60 bracket. May start to craft to get them up some if not I will play them through the game. I do not have them all fully kitted out but that does not worry me to say the least. yes am an altholic and need to take the programme to stop buying . I am sure there is some who have 40 slots saw it somewhere here so I am safe as yet.

I made 2 posts in the merged thread and to-day had 15 mins of using the TP now I have again the 502 error exception re proxy server again.

So the pattern is 15 mins for me then it goes down and the error appears.

The down time for repair last night has only patched for minimal time and yes its annoying to say the least. Mabe the new build that’s coming in the next hour or so will ratify the error on TP

Update ……..to-day the tp was working for 15 mins . Now I am receiving message

502 Webserver proxy rcvd invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.

This happened after I made a purchase of gems which was succsessful

as an altholic the thing is when you click to buy a slot it also asks you to confirm that’s on every time you pick to buy a spare slot so, you have two clicks every time for 1 slot .
each time it deducts the gems . so either you were just clicking all the time till your gems were exhausted so 10 times for the 5 slots I think you will not get a refund just my view btw

Over the last few days it seems my ability to sell items is taking so long from 30 seconds to 60 seconds before the ok tab appears.
Also the ability to retrieve data is also happening also.
along with freezing on the selling icon and after 2/3mins I cancel.
I have logged out went to different areas to sell and its the same. EU on US server
What is annoying is that I have to log onto another char because its getting unbearable as cannot use the bltc as inventory is full and no space left in bank

well I received one a few days ago and as an altholic I just purchased another slot made the guy then used the scroll. Level 20 in 1 min went to tp spent not even 3 silver and kitted the guy out with level 20 gear.

So yes may be useless to some but was good for me. Still have to open my chars that were created at launch so who knows may even buy another slot.

As far as the mini goes they will just go into storage along with any minis I have.

Guys you get things for free some complain if they asked for a fee there would be complaints. Just accept what you have and stop asking to be spoonfed all the time.

I loved my Zodiac Longbow in GW1 on my ranger early on everyone was wanting one, if it was the same I would go for it otherwise pass for me on it on gw2

no need to sneak down , or fight as all you do is run to the wall at the beachhead and jump down rez Mira avoiding contact then run back up the hill bypassing the fight don’t get involved that’s the secret

I play on SoR and never seen anything like what the op states. I often go there to do daily ect and never experienced any sort of rudeness/zone owning ect .

Mabe try another server if this is the case as op has not said what server he/she is on.

As a confirmed altholic the highest I have in crafting is 200 I have many alts all 80 bar 1
Yes they don’t have the best gear ect but my playstyle means anything I pick up when playing can be utilised onto 1 guy who is missing something.

they all have a craft but seldom use it . I use the craft to gain access to my bank and do the daily that involves crafting so, any char I am on when doing can do the craft for the daily without switching.

As I don’t rush I will at some point in the game get them to a level that satisfies myself
I don’t look to get a legendary if I do I know it will come at some time in the game.

I switch race/class to give a different viewpoint but hey that’s just me and what is fun for myself can be vastly different from someone else

I suppose all this can be summed up by a few things.

Define your identity ….by this I mean by peoples way they see the things that matter.

so it is want = need some wish to show friends e.g a shiny new armour/staff ect and this is to satisfy there own identity in game .

So if you see something its want but you may not need *a company will try to move you over to the *need aspect so that you compete with others within a said game.
They then bring in things that people go hey I want this and decide they will grind/buy/ farm ect as you wish to compete to get that shiny hence you are now in the *need * area and will pursue this till complete.

A lot of Marketing has this as there goal so they implement objects that raises peoples
fantasies to seek out for an item ,finding it, and making it there own.

so any company will try to tap into your arousal and weakened defences to get you into the *need and make a purchase or whatever to make your * need a reality .

Myself I am an altholic even in gw1 hence my own need for alts this is the same for other people albeit a different item. so I am in the *need * side

So people talk re the Rng this is to try to move you to the *Need hence the farming to obtain to get the item you desire.

So ask yourself am I a * want? * or are you a need as companies keep adding items ect to get you (hooked) *need * to compete with others you see in game and push yourself to compete with others .

Reality check…Defining our self -worth through comparison with others creates a never-ending cycle of dissatisfaction .When one level of aspiration is achieved the next level of becomes desirable. hence items added regular intervals

I did it on my level 27 necro and only the last vet took me a little bit of time to get him down about 2 mins . so no traits as such or a elite just don’t rush it my 2 cents worth

have seen guys from anet displaying their tag even last night and he/she was doing the Efigy burning don’t know mabe just the server they are playing on over the month the person/s doing DE’s and even Maw so, why does it really matter whether they are visable or not there icon .

They are not there for people to spam there chat box they like to have some fun also or is it that you wish to bombard the guys in chat. That is what the forums are for

All I can add is I have had excellent support from anet/ncsoft since inception of gw1 till now on gw2. Most problems arise out of not enough info sent when you open a ticket I have had from a few hours to max of a day to have a problem ratified .Keep up the good work support and GambGaming hope your friend will get the support he/she requires and a speedy recovery

I would say its a personal thing. As a person with many alts it suits me fine in my playstyle just like you having 1 guy and using him as a total main toon. Nothing wrong with that as it suits you fine and that’s what is important what suits you and nobody else. Everyone has different views on what They wish and how they wish to play the game e.g. im not a farmer so you see that differs from another persons viewpoint , just enjoy what you like and do what pleases you

If you played GW1 and was mapping an area close to the walls then when you opened the map you would see many types of animal in each area

I never had any problems to obtain my 150 as I had a toon in shiverpeaks and 1 at the citadel so all it took was to run around the areas combining with the daily and it was no problem I think its just guys starting it to late so they complain its to hard to complete . In fact I have about 30 or so extra still in my inventory albeit taking up space but I just took a scope down as passing if doing a De or whatever

hi since I came back on since the server was down my rewards in lower level areas are not working as they should…Sanctum of Rall EU player.

came on for daily but since 227 xp and rewards for an Event when it should be over 4k
I am receiving 88xp per kill its just event rewards.

Also in trying to report a bug in game , once I take a screenshot it is not allowing the submit as its greyed out

did that to-day when gw2 servers were down and helped a few guys in missions was still fun for me

You did not support gw1 if you did not purchase Eye of the North you are complaining that you cant have a skin yes a skin you want that’s all

Mabe its just me but dodger is easy to do along with other parts of the daily .

Nomatter what area you are in there are plenty of opponents who can give even running past rangers you can easily dodge arrows ect.

I think really its just guys who think that’s the only spot they can dodge in

The closest you had was in GW1 where you ride the Wurms with separate skills was fun, but we have wurms in gw2 so we may lsee that sort of thing some time in the future. I think we will never have a full time mount. personally I can live without these

As its over a week now and in the lower level area the following have been stuck and as its been stuck before on the same events /same part the bug/s should be known to the Devs.

Ulfred bugged he does not continue to collect the ice after the first part./chain broken
The Grawl shaman does not appear after the elder/banners are destroyed/chain broken.
Hence the continence of chains are prevented while these are stuck.

Combined with Maw/ bugged a lot of bugs are in this area on this server.

its the same in grendaren fields Blimm has been stuck in the same part /path as before over a week and all have been reported but no action has been forthcoming can you investigate since reporting and your statement don’t keep raising same tickets if you have reported before.

A few things to add just in case you have the problem I used to have.

If its a pre-paid card and you purchased before then it will flag as they have pre -paid as recurring.
So to avoid this when you are at the section where you say…yes use existing then do not click it,
There is a little bin at card details……….right side…put the existing details in the bin then
click add new card….then all you do is enter the same details on your pre -pay and it should now work.

The reason is your Financial bank do not allow recurring transactions hence once you do the above it should work as this was the way I had to do it on a pre -pay/……if its not a pre -paid card then you can ignore the above and wait ti anet respond back to you with a solution

Well in U.K its still down for me ,tried a reboot but not working . I will just have to try back and forth till its ratified.

I f you have purchased before and you get a failure if you have purchased before more so if you have a Pre-Paid card..

The problem is the recurring nature so how will it stop declining by my Financial Insitution

Use the little bin and delete your previous card information (Pre-Paid cards)

Then reenter the information again from your card

this will stop the flagging and you will be able to purchase again (Pre-pay cards).

If again you need to purchase more you would follow the same procedure .You have to bear in mind its your financial institution thats also stopping the procedure due to its security on Pre Pay cards.

I here some saying what! I have to delete then re enter again …Yes …then it satifies not only NCsoft
but also your institution thats flagging your card.

I have used the procedure and it works perfectly and now I have no problems whatsoever in re-puchasing Gems again using my Card..as I had this problem for a month

Now the Banks response to this

NCSoft are trying to make A Pre-Pay as a …..Recurring Transaction/ similar to a Direct Debit
This is reason why flagging occurs as,,,You cannot …..have a Pre-pay credit card as A recurring transaction

I asked how to remedy this …as soon as Ncsoft make your card as….. A Single payment transaction your card will not be flagged.
This was the system I have used before for 5 years spending Hundreds of Pounds on alts ect.on Guild wars 1

So with all this technology and similar posts can the following not be adjusted

1. Have a Button on the BLT to click re pre-pay option then all you do is enter the card details again but, it will be classed as A single transaction ..not recurring

2. as most games have time cards whty not have Gem cards purchaseable in a game store, as there is a section called enter Code so this can also be utilised.

3, Yes I can use in game gold ect…but I feel actioned against because I am using a pre-paid Mastercard.

4, So either take away this recurring transaction part thats applied by ncsoft or add something so guys like myself can use the BLT

I want to ask yourself to look into this as seems on a loop system as still going round and round wih no answer.

Again given a window and the Blt stated unauthourised .could not even get to the gem purchase . to-day yes it was open and …Failed agin and supposed to have a window.

As its going back to the very first post/incident I made and looping itself asking same questions yet its all on updtaed emails returned .as if not reading downward to previous emails

Yes now its trying to discourage myself from buying although purchased before will you please read the incident and look at all replies as something is far wrong when its just going back to start then re looping itself,, Pre Pay cannot be set up as A Recurring Transaction as it can only be as one of payments by Ncsoft

Hi Gaile, I appreciate the vast items.tickets in queue as long as I obtain an end result thats the main thing.
They opened a window to obtain the Gems.then the BLT went down for updates ect
therefore the window may have been closed.

When it did reopen yes youve guessed it ..it said failed again on my pre-pay card
so the ticket is still unresolved so, when your guys can get round to it will they reply and see what the problem is .check my ticket for reasons ect re secuity on both sides
