They did this last year with the Dragon Emblem Shirt Codes. Arenanet yes give out free stuff at the cons but DON’T not let us who aren’t made of money not be able to get them. Hell Mr. Sparkles is in the collectionables windows which means everyone should be able to get them if they want/try for it (like Liadri)
I haven’t played my ele since october, and it’s currently level 75 and was wondering if anyone had any good builds for living and gearing up in pve and any springboard builds (base builds for self tweaking) for pvp.
Would it be at all possible to turn the pve gauntlets into skins so we can convert them to pvp, or get a pvp npc that allows us to trade 1 gauntlet type for another? Only managed to get the light variant, and I play an Engineer…
Got a couple questions:
1. Will the Fused Tokens disappear from the BLC tomorrow? (5/12/13)
2. Will we ever see Mystic Forge recipes for the permanent BLC items like the Permanent Bank Access Contract, Permanent Merchant Contract, Permanent Trading Post Pick-up Contact, and Permanent Hair Stylist Contract.

Seriously someone crying about Elementalists’ down state abilities? Vapor form is without a doubt the single best downed state ability, especially in WvW …
How? “Oh look they vapor formed…” walks over to where Vapor form ended, restarts stomp Besides it adds downed penalty…
We hardly have condition removal? last i checked, Elixir C swapped all conditions for boons, and the toss changed 1 condition to a boon. Toss Elixir R removes 1 condition. Cleansing Burst on Healing Turret removes all conditions, and Fumigate on Elixir Gun cures conditions on each of its 5 hits if an ally is in the cone of effect.
In terms of damage, it seems that’s what we have to pay for versatility.
Downed on the other you obviously never played Ele, except for Vapor form, they have no way to evade/cancel stomps, and if they use it to much they kill themselves.
The grenade nerf is only on grenade kit #1, “grenade” mostly to even out for allowing swap sigils and passive sigils.
Also try Battle instead of Bloodlust, its a swap that gives might, which means more power without requiring kills.
With Airships being in the game as nothing more than environment detail, background detail, and part of Arah’s story mode, it would be nice if it were possible to actually control one in the skys above the WvW Battlegrounds. Each ship would be either soulbound/accountbound (up to Anet), but only able to hold a single party with one person flying, some manning cannons, and the leftovers maintaining the engines.
The reason they would be bound to a character instead of a guild being “what if” the guild leader kicks most of the people that helped make it.
Ever since this dungeon was added it seems like NO ONE has bothered with doing anything out in the world, unless it involves on of these four things.
1. Dragon events.
2. Waiting for party members outside dungeon entrances.
3. Gathering mats, Ori farming.
4. Progressing map completion on new accounts.
Anet really needs to do something to incentive players to actually get out into the world that took them years to make, instead of just running some dungeon that only took a couple months at the most.
Note: I do know there are actually people going out and doing stuff but it seems REALLY few and far in between.
What is there to consider, just add 2 tabs to BUY, using one for normal ascended rings, and another for infused ascended rings, first being locked unless your on level 10+ and second being locked until your on level 20+

With the way they released characters and set up there game your right. Played beta when it was just Lann and Fiona, then tried out Evie when she was available at launch. Then two to three months later tried Korak when they finally released him, then stop because i didnt want to rerun the same boring dungeons AGAIN to level that guy, and they waited half a year in america from when the Kai teaser was shown… ALL CHARACTERS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE AT LAUNCH!….
But that aside the people we should really be worried about if they ever try to buy out NCsoft is a company called Gala-Net. Most of their games, developed or licensed ARE pay-to-win. One good example is the russian WoW clone, Allods, a game only pvp servers that right when they released a new map to play on released a combat mount that could a majority of a max level group at the time and had an area shield that absorbed 70% of the damage you tried to do. And said mount only came from having 10 tokens from an rng cash shop item.
Why do we hate Trahearne? Because other than being a plot device for why some NPCs are where they are, he is COMPLETELY useless. I mean, he’s a necromancer right? The only time I’ve seen him even summon his minions is in Retribution when we have to go clear out the the risen around the ramparts. Then we go from being heroes/champions of our misc. tasks, Lightbringers/Magisters/Warmasters of the Order of Whispers/Priory/Vigil, respectively, to glorified babysitters of a bunch of self-absorbed snobs while he is in his office… In one fight after the pact is formed in a mission called “Marshaling the Truth” he is knocked down and doesn’t help AT ALL, even with his fancy guardian sword. >_>

While yes I haven’t played every game Nexon has PUBLISHED (YES PUBLISHED NOT DEVELOPED!) I have played a couple, those being Mabinogi: A Fantasy Life, and Vindictus, and from what I’ve seen of both of their cash shop NOTHING in either had the use to be major stat increases over other players, they were either for cosmetic changes, either from insanely random dyes or cosmetic armor/weapons, pets/mounts that would either give stat boosts for 1-2 minutes that would decrease the longer the pet/mount has been on the account. Hell the pets even had daily timers for how long you could play as them or have their AI help you when you go soloing.
So I ask again where the kitten is the idea that being owned by Nexon means it becomes pay to win comes from?

If you upgrade it to Koss on Koss (Infused) (note this is different than putting an infusion in Koss on Koss). It might change it so it shows Koss’s face like the (Infused) icon shows.
Just a suggestion for Noll, have him despawn 1 minute after the event is completed, then have it start again 1 minute after that, so people that aren’t getting lucky for kill credit won’t have to wait hours on end.
The event the OP is talking about wasn’t even 1-time, it was just the cinematic for it, I saw the same event, without a cinematic, 4 times or so the day the Mad King dungeon was up…
Would someone care to explain how a patch that was only suppose to lower an accidental increase in Unidentified Dye drops is making the guild system, and apparently the party system, act up?
Since Commander is either for large raids or WvW combat… how about it isn’t obtainable until you either get EVERY slayer achievement and/or EVERY WvW achievement, showing you at least have knowledge on these areas of the game and are should be capable of leading a group into battle that dont end up dying due to following someone that bought a book on a whim because they had a lot of gold.
An idea I got from another game, but rather simple and very effective for lower end machines. Instead of everyone having to render every single different character model in the game and every single armor that their wearing, give us the option to turn all characters that aren’t in our party or the guild we’re representing into the same (robed) model. I know tons of people that love this game but can’t handle highly crowded areas would love this since their fps would drop too drastically and it wouldn’t take a minute to render everyone on your side, and the enemies’ sides in large wvw matches.
With the CtF in WoW I’m sure tons of people don’t want CtF in GW2. Yes the maps will be a LOT smaller but we’ll still have the people fitting in mid instead of working on killing/defending the flag carriers…
Just something I thought of while going through Lornar’s Pass on my second character…
Why are all these points interesting and worth our time going and exploring them? E.G. Maw’s Rise in mid eastern Lornar’s Pass. Yes it had a giant Wurm course there, and the occasionally pirate group, but why should we care about it? Or Skylady’s Memory, southwest of Maw’s Rise? Why is that important? Running by I just saw a hand full of (Juvenile) White Moas, no reason for this to be a place of interest to anyone other that a Ranger that decided s/he wanted a new moa.
So my suggestion is: When scrolling over a point of interest on the map, bring up a tid-bit of information about that place. Give these areas a bit more meaning other that just places necessary to run by for map completion and for getting are two Gifts of Exploration.
Instead of just combining 2 professions for a dual-profession system and it being a balancing problem, why not have each slotted tier (heals, 1 point, 3 points, 6 points, 10 points, and 30 points) gain an empty skill slot that when a secondary profession is chosen they are able to unlock 1 skill from the chosen profession at 10x the points that skill is required to unlock for that class. Reasoning (lore-wise) being our characters don’t start their professions the minute we start playing, they’re suppose to have studied and practiced forever before we played and can’t be an “expert” at the other profession the instant they learn it.
Been experience this problem since about the 24th, although was as able to purchase some right after the patch on the 22nd.

Thank you ninja, and on a slight tangent from the topic… what are the default dyes for both, mine ended up getting stuck on icing for some reason, and i don’t even have icing on my main.
Will these have similar effects when the costume brawl is over? Like being able to ride the enchanted broom as if it were flying, tossing pumpkins from the specter, conjuring cauldrons and bonquets?
I fail to see how this is a balanced WvW match. At night Northern Shiverpeaks has everything, or most everything, and at night Darkhaven has everything… while we Emhry Bay only gets… 3-5 camps, 1-2 towers…. and a keep or two if were lucky..
Since we can mostly agree that while yes the Prayers (and in engi’s case Blessings) are underpowered as skills but decent for being racials that are there just for flavor, but because they are called PRAYERS, it would be nice if they could at least have some audio to go along with them like the Mesmer’s Mantras.
