Or you could, y’know, make another character and, hey, there’s your mesmer!
Tarnished Coast [NA]
5/10 ’cause Vaporub!
I have two Asuras: Hades Necrós (mesmer, pending name change) and Ziio Kanieh (warrior).

I really do like the Crimson mask, especially on my mesmer, but… red. Had it been dyeable, I would have bought 50!
Okay, maybe not 50.

It would take an inexhaustible amount of time to make the TP work properly. All the categories are pretty much generated automatically from the info in the database. Due to this and the fact that most items are not properly categorized means that someone on the inside will have to sift through the thousands of items and categorize them all again.
I would actually enjoy doing that. I like organising things, and it’d also help the trading post to, y’know, actually work!

I’ve been getting my Obsidian Shards from the Scarlet event in Lion’s Arch. Three per chest, and you can do it as many times as you want, so long as your server or overflow has the man power.
To be fair, I haven’t raked up a huge sum of shards, but it’s my only alternative to laurels, seeing as I’m normally asleep on the daily clear of Balthazar on most servers.

This is my lovely thief, Ayden Creed.
Gotta love that underboob.
Tarnished Coast [NA]
Like most others, I have a human thief, ’cause underboob.

My mesmer is an Asura. She’s little, cute, and makes other little cute things.
Personally, I prefer the armour for human’s, but I’d never trade in my itty bitty mesmer.

The thing is, though, everything in the gem store can be bought with in-game gold. You don’t need to spend actual money. It may take longer to be able to convert that gold into enough gems, but the option is there.
Also, it would be free, seeing as you’ve bought it once, and then taken nine other sets without paying. The price for most of these sets is rather high, but you can’t really complain when the money doesn’t have to come out of your own pocket.

Sadly, I don’t think that’ll ever happen. The achievement items aren’t bought, they’re earned (even though I really don’t like the skins, and would love another option to choose from).
ArenaNet would lose out on money if they allowed everyone to buy one armour set, and then have access to it on every character for free. I could see them reducing the price of an armour set if you’ve already bought it X-amount of times, but never just handing it out for free.

Personally, I find path one the easiest, but I run it on a thief. Just stealth through the giant skip after the Ancient Ooze.

Ayden Creed
Profession: Thief. Can use Guardian/Mesmer if necessary.
Experience: All paths, more so paths 1 and 4.
Time: Oceanic afternoon/nights (GMT +10).

I have everything I need for Twilight, minus Dusk, and I’ve almost finished the Gift of Sunrise.
I’ll probably end up crafting Sunrise first, seeing as Dawn is cheaper than Dusk, and I have no luck with the forge whatsoever.
In the mean time, working on finishing the Gifts of Fortune and Mastery again. I gave up on Bifrost and The Dreamer. Maybe one day I’ll attempt them again.

7.5/10 – I think the name is quite pretty, has a certain flow to it, which is often overlooked when naming characters. It also suits the class.
I have a human thief named Ayden Creed. Kinda cliche.

So, I’ve chosen to aim, mainly, for Sunrise, ‘cause I’m making it for my partner.
So far, I have:
250 Mithril ingots (Gift of Metal)
Gift of Ascalon
Superior Sigil of Strength
Bloodstone Shard
Gift of Exploration
Gift of Battle
Progress!

I bought the Icy Runestones as soon as I had the 100g to pay for them. To me, 100g is a lot to spend all at once, and I felt better about getting it out of the way first.
If you’ve completed your Mystic Clovers, you could start buying tier six materials, unless you want to farm them, in which case, good luck!
As for Lodestones, depending on which you need, you could farm them, ‘cause it’s rather painful to watch so much gold disappear on them.
I suggest not saving up for the precursor until you’ve completed everything else, just because it’ll take so much longer to get everything done if you’re putting every coin away, and, if you’re like me, you just want this bad boy done already!
I wish you luck on your legendary!

The Gift of Wood is a Huntsman recipe.
Scroll down in the crafting window, and you should see it.

Twilight, Bifrost and The Dreamer.
Some of the legendaries are lacking a wow factor, honestly, but I like these three the most.
Tarnished Coast [NA]
Still lacking Dusk for Twilight, so I’ve started aiming for Sunrise, The Dreamer, and Bifrost.
The journey for Twilight kept me interested in the game, and gave me a reason so play, so why not do it again!
I might be in a little over my head, going for three at once. We’ll see how it goes.
So far, I have the Gift of Ascalon for Sunrise, the Opal Orbs for both Bifrost and The Dreamer, and both sigils for Bifrost and Sunrise.

I’m not sure which legendary greatsword I want. I mean, Twilight looks cool, but everyone has it, Sunrise just doesn’t tickle my fancy, and, from what my friends have told me, Eternity isn’t worth it.
So, my progress?
Over three-hundred Badges of Honor, and about ten Obsidian Shards.
Yeah, I have a long way to go.
Five months ago, I posted this.
Now, all I need is Dusk!
Tarnished Coast [NA]
Not entirely sure if this is the right place to post. Oh well.
I plan on deleting my first character, and remake her as a different race, but she has a staff I’ve grown very fond of.
Would I be able to transmute that staff for the new character?
This is probably a stupid question, but, hey, worth a shot!

Twilight Progress:
In about two months, I’ve managed to lock down The Gift of Metal (\m/), The Gift of Exploration, The Gift of Ascalon and The Gift of Battle (and some bit and pieces for the other gifts).
Working on The Gift of Darkness, but, argh! Lodestones! Don’t even get me started on the precursor.
(No luck whatsoever. None. Nada. Zip!)
But, I am closer than I was before, so… Bright side?

I have a question about the Mystic Forge that I can’t seem to find the answer to anywhere on the internet (strange, right?)
I need clovers to craft my legendary, and I know how to make them, but I want to know if I have more than one of each item, will the forge take all of them, or just one?
Like, if I had, say, 10 Ectos + 40 Obsidian shards + 12 Mystic Coins + 10 Philosophers Stones, would it take one from each stack?
Or take as many as it kitten well pleases?
I’ve never used the forge, other than with dyes which I only had one of each. Don’t really want to lose half of my ectos if I’m getting nothing back.

Looking for an active, Kaineng based guild, possibly with other Australian players (just so I have people to play with when the American’s go to sleep).
… Yeah. Hi! -waves-
Tarnished Coast [NA]
Hey, guys.
Just wondering if anyone knew of a decent, or absolutely amazing, build for a greatsword in PvE/dungeons.
Thanks in advance!
