Oh great I was wondering when this was going to happen. I hate wings so much in every single game I play it’s the stupidest thing because everyone always goes apekitten over them. And every time they come and make an appearance in an MMO I like they just make it look like a crappy bad anime fest, or some low budget Korean game. Whatever.

This is happening to me, though it’s never happened before. I don’t even get to a patch % or anything, just says Downloading X (some minute number) and then trails to 0 after a few seconds and freezes.

Here’s my Guardian and Necromancer helping the little one start her first day of delivering presents.

After coming back around Halloween I was dismayed to find that not only had I missed a dolyak mini for some kind of WvW event but I happened to also miss an adorable festive dolyak calf on Christmas. I was crushed. I love all things dolyak. Such majestic bovines. Such strange norn pack animals. My world was not complete without dolyaks.

But for Christmas, my friend gifted me the mini set to make the dolyak calf! Now, I have an adorable and sweet little dolyak baby. There’s nothing that could be better. I wouldn’t even bat an eye at a precursor or a legendary. All I wanted was my dolyak. I even bought an infinite festive dolyak tonic so I can hang out and be a dolyak too with my babby dolyak.

This is the second time I’ve seen this happen and it isn’t any less annoying because it’s always a t6 node.

You can’t get it by any means because the collision box from the airship prevents getting remotely close to it. Please change this node to spawn somewhere else actually accessible.

I don’t like the new item highlighting, it gets on my nerves. But I’m okay with it because you can turn it off, and having options always is better than not having the option at all…

I like how the party invite buttons are bigger. I hated ticking the tiny little green checkbox.

Hi! I haven’t played any Living Stories since they came out, but I really enjoy the wallpaper on this one. I think it’s the first one I downloaded. I love the colours and composition, and it sticks out from the rest of the wallpapers.

I didn’t even know there was a carrier pigeon until it was pointed out to me that it apparently delivers mail. Maybe I’m blind?

I haven’t played for a while and found out that there are new backpacks that not only look cool but are actually obtainable through means other than RNG! Thanks! Now I can actually get cool back skins through the work that I did on my characters rather than praying to the RNG gods or coughing up a lot of money on the marketplace. Feels good.

They are so cool too! I love using backpack mods in Skyrim and these remind me of them! Wearing them makes me feel like a real adventurer.

I had the same problem. Your husband probably has a full trading post. I had a couple of hundred greens on order in the trading post to boost my magic find. When I finally got those recycled (three grabs from the TP to get them all and 100 bad slots free), the green star came up.

It looks like the living world is delivered through the trading post. When you log in it gets added to the end of your TP queue, and it has to percolate up.

hi I have logged in to unlock the content for Entanglement and it went smoothly. however my husband is unable to unlock this content. He logs in but he does not get the little green star that unlocks the content. When he goes under Living Story Season 2, it says he can purchase the living story for 0 gems, but when he clicks that, it says network connection. No matter how many times he logs in or out he cannot unlock Entanglement. Has anyone else encountered this? I don’t see any topics on this issue so idk whether to send a ticket in or not.

edit: neither of us have done the first story, Gates of Maguuma. we unlocked Maguuma with no problem. but he is having this problem with Entanglement

Hi, I haven’t played in a while. I don’t fully understand this new journal unlock system thing. Today I logged in and it said Gates of Maguuma was unlocked in my story journal. I understand that by doing this I have “permanently” unlocked this content, but what exactly does that mean?

Does it mean that months later I can pick this up and obtain achievements and meta rewards from this Gates of Maguuma thing even after it is gone? Or does it just mean I can experience playthroughs months later but miss the rewards because I didn’t participate in the two weeks it was available or whatever? Very confused.

Yea it’s pretty stupid that it’s a 30m cooldown with only 5m as the transformation. I like being a sexy clockwork knight. This is something I wish they would change but cosmetic things aren’t really too important when it comes to fixing/changing stuff…

The zone as a whole is my favourite, I love exploring and searching for sky crystals and getting progress towards rewards by doing things other than pressing 1 and/or relying on RNG gods. It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I find it very refreshing.

I got the Bazaar favour after opening the bonus chest after doing a dolyak race and I bought the pavilion one off the TP.

you could try the mystic forge way. for instance cores to lodes, though last I checked its only useful for something like Powerful Blood which costs so much if you were to buy normal. my average when using MF to get full stack Blood was 8 stacks. so you would save around 25g to get full stack this way.

you can also do dungeons, you will get a lot of mats quite easily due to loot/champ bags. also you don’t need to do 12 hours per day (i dont think I did that much even when i could farm cof p1). you only need to do max 2-3 hours to get about 20g/day. just do the dungeons that you think are fun, and leave the rest. for instance, I usually skip SE, CM, AC P2, COF except P1, etc. Even though most are usually fast, I don’t like those dungeons.. like SE which bores me to death. If I do Arah and some of the others I usually make enough.

how do you get 20g a day from doing dungeons? what the hell?

also, i had finished my clovers now, and had 80-100 of each now. I play alone so my only option is to farm for money since I don’t have enough crystalline dust to stuff Zommoros’s mouth with t5 mats. I have an excess of laurels I don’t care about so I will use those too. I didn’t know you could use them to get the mats.

I need 100 onyx lodestones so I’m not toooo concerned about getting all the t6 mats NOW NOW NOW since I’ll be farming TA for 3 years but with how little I’ve ever seen them drop I was wonderign if there was a better option for obtaining them.

necros essentially have two healthbars so while they do wear light armour they are quite durable

staff guardians deserve to jump off the airship and not be rezzed.

if you get the meta achievement you will get enough tokens + the needed rare item to buy either the panda or the dolyak calf tonic.

why does soverign tickets cost ridiculously rare thing now ._. I was fine with paying gold out of the kitten for them before

hi all, is it possible to make gift of magic & gift of might without being a TP baron and/or farming 12 hours a day? I’ve been playing for maybe a year and only have ~60 of each item. Is there any way to get these items without farming gold to buy them on the TP.

this is really kittenty. sclerite are among my favourite weapon skins in the game, i love the weird/creepy look of them but i never got to get any because…. they’re locked behind the lottery game of tickets

i guess i’m not going to be able to get a skin before they disappear forever. this is stupid and i’m legitimately upset

I like to just run around and gather materials. I’m a hoarder so I don’t sell any of my mats therefore I’m poor. My ultimate goal is to stockpile 500 of each item. I don’t mind being poor since I’m just playing the game how I like. I rarely touch dungeons and I don’t go near fractals with a 100 foot pole. so I’m “mega casual!” Right now i’m trying to figure out a good look for my warrior. Welcome to Cafe Casual.

You’re not alone, it’s just preference. I don’t like the wild size of some GS either, well a lot of it is also the shape of it too, I’m not someone who likes outlandish stuff (like fractal gs or jade gs). I love love love the Lionguard weapons and I wish we had some more designs like that – simple but sleek, easy to see that it’s different from other weapons with the golden lion design.

I also really liked the soverign weapons (I wish those would come back), except the GS, that didn’t make any sense.

I just want more GS that look like they can actually fit in a scabbard =)

I hope sometime soon. All legendaries are hideous except Kudzu. I want a legendary that actually fits and looks good on my character

Anet would be foolish to not return them, they have plenty of people waiting on hand and foot to give them money for town clothes skins (including me) since they’re actually useable now. So I too eagerly await this day.

I do have a followup question on #1 though, I notice that indeed ascended stuff are account bound now, but also some of my exotics are account bound too instead of Soulbound. Like my Scepter and Shield from twilight arbour are account bound even though they are exotic. Is that normal?

I just started playing again recently after many months, I came back when the Super Dress Up Mai Anime Waifu Wardrobe function was added a week ago. There are a few things I’ve noticed I need answers to

1) I noticed some of my equipment seem to be account bound now, but then other stuff isn’t, it is still soulbound. Why is this? Are they all supposed to be account bound? Or soulbond? What is this? what’s the requirements?

2) In the old transmutation system I would just use worthless lvl 79 transmutation stones to make my characters who didnt have level 80 equips look good, but I can’t seem to do that now in this new transmutation system, changing my kittenty level 50 armour now costs precious transmutation charges that is used for ALL equipment. So is there a way to make the crappy armour look different without using the charges or do I have to suck it up till I get to level 80 and get equips that don’t suck?

3) Is SAB coming back soon?? I have a bunch of tokens for making the green weapons but I stopped playing before I got to use them, and I have an infinite continue coin rotting away.

4) I have noticed that when I am harvesting nodes, when I get attacked by anything, my ore/wood/whatever will come out as the ruined stuff even though I am using the right tool! it feels really arbitrary too. I will be mining mythril and the first mine comes out as a regular mythril ore, but when i get attacked by something, the other two remaining mines come out as ruined ore! is this a bug? i don’t recall this ever happening before

edit: 5) Are any of those old town clothes items ever coming back? it would be a shame if they didn’t, anet would probably make a lot of money on them

I am signing this because tossing flowers to every person by the bank in LA was my greatest pasttime and this greatly upsets me.

I had some very strange lag earlier today… I spent 40 lives trying to even get into King Toad’s arena only to be killed mid-air by lilly pads I already jumped over. I still haven’t killed him. The weirdest thing is that nothing else was lagging, only GW2.

Where is this? I don’t see a shop…

Can someone pleaes explain how to get past this part? I’ve used 80 lives triyng and I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. Their triggering seems entirely arbitrary at this point. I will jump at the same point and sometimes they go off when I’m midair and sometimes they don’t. I watched Dulfy’s video on it and she goes through it without even a thought, none of them trigger at terrible times. WTF am I doing wrong?

OK wow… I thought I was the only one who thought this was hard… I’m even playing on baby mode and it was hard! The levels are sooo long. I can’t imagine how it is playing on normal mode. I lost 20 lives playing in World 2 haha.

If it’s tradeable I feel good about this…but I’m still keeping it… my favourite bow in the entire game!
