EP’s trip to EU showed that the top EU guilds >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> top NA guilds.

It’s possible that I’m not fully up to date with the latest results, but as far as I knew [EP] only lost to [ST]. If that is accurate then the only conclusion that can be drawn is that the top GvG guild in the game atm is EU. Which is a conclusion that pertains to a single guild, not a group of “top guilds.” If my knowledge of the results is indeed outdated then I apologize, I get all of that information 2nd-hand or later.

I would be interested to hear observations and comparisons from [EP] reps, since they are the only group that has recently faced both regions. Certainly if they felt a pattern that would carry a lot of weight.

I also know that EP lost 5-1 against iNK from Gunnar’s Hold. Don’t know anything about other GvG’s.

But it’s stupid to judge the whole NA for 1 guild. EP might be the best or one of the best of NA, but playstyles between guilds are different and some other guilds could possible do very good here, we cant know. Playing against RG or against VII feels a lot different, both or top guilds.

Talk to the workers, they are just lazy and need te be motivated. They’ll start working again right after you talk to them.

I was playing with some friends in WvW today and I was recording stuff. When watching my recordings I found something that really got my attention.

This is the video I made of the scene, it’s 2,9 seconds played at 10% speed. There was a 25 man zerg chasing me and I use mist form to try to get out alive. I still got downed, but after watching the video it seemed to me that I got downed while being in Mist form.

Are there other people who had this happen to them? Is it a bug or does it just takes that many time to get “in” Mist from after you press the button? It looks like I’m in Mist form to me and it looks like I got downed while being in mistform. Notice that I don’t have any conditions on me (no conditions that can deal that much damage), it looks like the arrow/bullet hits through my Mist form.

Anyone ever had something similar or knows what happened?

At least the other 2 servers have time to practice guerilla tactics. Stealing camps, slapping yaks, corpse jumping when they win duels, etc. every time i log in wvw we’ll be capping a tower at best.

So, the other 2 server can take camps, slap yaks and your server (also my server) can’t? interesting…

Coming from a boring matchup where we steamroll everything, now heading into a boring matchup where we get steamrolled. The previous matchup at least gave me the chance to level some alts in WvW. I think I will hang out at the mill a lot, hoping to get some practice on my 1v1.

Captured SM in less than 5 minutes this evening.
I (thief) was away from keyboard in SM, didn’t even make a point of hiding. Just placed myself somewhere with a nice view of the castle. One of my guildies was a mesmer and died when UW took the castle.

Came back just before I got kicked from inactivity, revived my guildie (twice) and portalled zerg inside …

Was genuinely surprised no UW went to defend SM since 1 UW player saw me reviving my guildie (I had no choice, he found me at the end. Had to hurry and get all the players inside)

Not that it mattered, 10-30 minutes later UW zerged SM and took it back .. was fun nonetheless

We had a vote, farm wxp or defend/upgrade. Most ppl wanted to farm.

They got 2 acs, one at the door and one down at the right side of staris and this second one cant see throught that gap. just try it.

I’m pretty sure that the AC at the door can hit that spot…

Really love fighting RoS, had some nice fights over vale and Hero’s lodge this morning. Loved those small scale battles.

If the numbers are balanced its so much fun but most of the time all we can do is watch a zerg 2-3 times if not more larger then us taking everything. Really Anet do something with the outnumber buff since exp and magic find and some money saving for armor is not going too help those being outnumbered.

A little birdy told me that you can get out of it by changing your weaponset (in the Hero menu).

Emotes or weapon swap don’t help, really annoying bug.

I know about the ram thing, but it goes away after a couple of seconds anyway. This doesn’t, I am an ele and I pressed attunement swap and nothing happened. I’ll try to press the “other” weapon swap button next time, hope it will work.

Since the patch there is a bug when you use (f) an AC and you can’t do anything at all. you can’t use the skills, you can’t even leave the AC. The only thing you can do is WP out, if you are not in combat of course.

It doesn’t happen a lot, but it has already happened to me and 2 other friends in the last hour.

Took me 70 ectos to get… 0 clovers.

Oh, I thought the Mesmer’s Greatsword auto had been fixed to actually be able to hit the huge pot of oil without it saying “Obstructed”.

Now it hits just everything, even stuff that isn’t in its path. When I gs1 a gate, I also hit the oil and the cannon, sometimes even siege on/behind the wall. This should be fixed.

I never took a screenshot of it, but I have this screenshot. I clearly shouldn’t be hitting the turrents.

If someone uses entangle and you are in the water, near the land and you are floating. Then you get the root/vines and you can’t do anything against it. you are immobilized and you can not break the vines because you can’t attack.

and to answer your question on how to push 20 bali 30 arrow 10 cata you take 6 ele rotating swirling wind creating a path for your guardian to get in then rotate gs pull pulling the zerg in to your own. and crush them.

This has been a very fun matchup. You never know who is dominating when you log on and even if one server is dominating, it can change in half an hour.

The thing I enjoyed the most is being chased by 4-6 FR or FSP around half the map and leading them right into our zerg. I normally never /laugh when someone dies but after being followed by 10 enemys for almost 10 minutes. just walking is circkels hoping they get it and stop chasing me. Well, I just had to /laugh after I finally lead them to our zerg.

Some pugs should really learn to stop going after just 1 person.

If you jump off the edge at klovan on the right corner near the gate (looking from klovan to the keep), then there is a chance you get stuck between the walls. you can’t get out and if you are in combat you will probably die because you can’t wp out either.

This bug could be removed by removing a small part of the wall.

Random mobs because WvW’ers should be able to get daily kill variety too.

If you are annoyed at getting hit for a 7k HS… get more toughness. Also I have been hit for 4.5k by ranger’s auto attack with longbow. Nothing needs to be nerfed, you just need to learn to deal with it or adapt to it.

Got hit for 11,1k from a warrior killshot last week and I wear full lvl 80 exotic toughness gear. It was in a group fight so I couldn’t see him do the animation. In a 1v1 you can deal with it, but in group fights you can’t see stuff like that so there is no way to adapt to it.
