I use brown bear. It can live for more than 10 seconds. Sometimes.
Conquest is unplayable IMO. SH is somewhat better.
I’ve given up for awhile though, playing solo ranked is a very bad idea right now.

Yea….I just can’t see this system working w/o a reset. Isn’t that the point of having seasons? Your performance in each is independent of what you did prior?
Just wondering. Isn’t that a kind of basic thing for a new season?

Its just not a spectator game. It lacks the strategic depth and explosiveness of a true esport.
I get that it’s supposed to be hard to acquire. I think people are responding to the fact that you cannot get it playing one character, which runs counter to a lot of MMO norms.
Esports just don’t work for this type of game. It’s lacks the explosiveness of popular esport titles.
Stupid imo. Never had any interest in Alts in any mmo.
I use a similar but tankier build for my Druid. Also, I think Zephyr’s speed is much better than Beastly Warden in most situations. The quickness works very well with staff auto and can help you stomp, rez, and get stability on in a pinch.
Half agree with OP. Haven’t been to HOT maps in weeks because beside meta event (hello taxi) they aren’t very fun to play by myself. Cannot get that sense of exploration that I had in the old maps.
IMO, the only change on score I wish they would make is to grant points for killing a mist champion.

I have played a lot of SH and at least half games end in Lord finish. Timer games are fine, means the game was close.
The game is called “GUILD WARS.” Is it to surprising that you might have to do something….with your guild?
Please. I am about as casual a player as they come. I work 60 hrs a week as an attorney, I play only when I have a little free time. Even I haven’t had trouble slowly acquiring ascended items.
If you don’t want to acquire them, fine. But you can’t complain about other people no wanting you to be the weakest link in their raid team.
The AA is fine. The only staff skills that are a bit underwhelming are 2 and 4. 4 is only underwhelming because its not a lot of power for a hard to hit relatively long cool down ability. A slight damage boost or immobilize boost would be perfect imo.
I think it behaves like stun in that, it is not a condition and does not stack duration. Rather, a you must coordinate a CC chain to lock someone down, not just spam your buttons.
Be less bad? They have virtually no Stability. Decent cc chain = dead.
How about just remove it. trebs on sPvP maps total fail. Keep that stuff in WvW.
I agree its a lot better than conquest. Fights are much more dynamic when they aren’t based around a small circle. I just wish they would remove the kitten trebuchet. That thing has NO place on the map and really takes away from the fun IMO.
We should be able to queue in our Guild Halls. I mean, that just makes sense and I cannot see how it would be that technically challenging to implement. Like, why even have Guild Halls if I am not allowed to hang out there during downtime/while waiting for queue.
Reapers are very strong into virtually all match-ups.
I don’t think you have a very good understanding of the strengths/weaknesses of the classes. IMO, let Anet do their thing and chill.

The problem with reaper to me is chill. Chill is an extremely powerful condition based on the slow effect alone. Reapers get a ton of it AND it does serious damage. DH just has way too much Cc. The repeated knockdown thing they do is absurd.
Increasingly feeling that reapers and DH are pretty op.
Can you at least let us duel or something. I get so bored waiting around in HoTM.
People just like to whine. Besides warriors being especially weak, balance right now is no worse than usual imo. I’ve played games long enough to know that this balance is nowhere near as bad as it could be.

Because you did not buy an expansion… What do you expect. It’s not free to keep providing this game for you to play.
Maybe it’s time for some DR to be implemented. That or stability skills should be instant cast so it’s harder to get chained.
Only trap that is OP is the sword one that is impossible to get out of.
Druids are well balanced right now imo. Strong but not overpowered. Same goes for heralds and chronos.
8 people would be enough to bottle the other team in the base completely.
Always use CAF 2 before 3 for AoE retaliation
I don’t find TU needed at all. Staff is works fine too. Only AF change we need is regen to grant some AF.
I think its fine as it is. Make it grow faster/easier and it will become OP. Then we just get more heavy handed nerfs.
Solo, I like great sword for the mobility, block, and extra stun/daze. However, I have been experimenting with sword/WH with a good deal of success as well. MoC seems like core on Druid for me.
Longbow, I think, is not as great in sPvP. I would rather use staff and be charging AF. But then, I like to play a more support style.

I agree with way too many WPs being contested in HoT. frustrates me a lot.
