Alot of player already wrote about this need, but id like to propose something more specific for helping pugs to make a party with some improvement, like other games already have.
I d like to be able to make a lfg with x healing, dps, condi, tank spot, so everyone could apply his role for fast fullfill the team.

For example i open a new raid party in lfg with 3 condi spot 1 tank 1heal 5 dps, other plwyer can join and apply for his role

from few days i have a strange issue, while in combat, noticed in spvp, fractal and raid

sometime for a while i cant move, like i was immobilized, skils works fine, i just cant move forward like if i collide with npc, for example in the molten duo happened alot, the first boss, i can move right left and back but i cant go forward if i face him, like if he is solid, is the same in other situations

i’ve tryed with 2 different keyboard, but i still have this issue

At last but not least how should be someone “legendary” just for have time for this collections and achievement? Legendary stuff imho should be someting earned from ppl who is the best in his role “win xxxx tournament doubling the enemies score” “complete x time the raid under x minutes” something for “pro” players and not barbie collections…

What about, play every profession in the game to a level at which you’re winning matches? Seems to show a mastery of the sPvP system to me which makes sense for a legendary tied to PvP. (Plus, you can practice in unranked without “tanking” your or anyone else’s rank.) And, as other people mentioned, the top stats requirements seem to fit this as well.

do u really think ppl is interested to practice in unranked before go in ranked? ppl just take care about himself, they dont care about learning all the classes, they just wanna their achivements and the legendary backpack

If the achivement for armor is given to entire team it make more sense, but i still dont like the achievement/collection metods (my opinion)
Anyway what about the pvp legendary back? You still have to play classes you dont know how to play in ranked, maybe this is not a problem for the few players with a full team but the majority is solo, duo or trio who pug inside hoping to dont find noobs, but now the problems will grow up

Just as a heads up, the Mastery Points for Personal Story are awarded on a per-chapter basis. So once you complete Chapter 1 and earn the Achievement for it, you’ve earned the Mastery Point for Chapter 1. This includes each different starting storyline: I believe the right names are: Graduation Day, For The Legion!, Crime and Punishment, Rising to the Challenge, and Waking from the Nightmare. Similarly, whichever Order you join, there’s just one Mastery Point there.
Hopefully this helps clarify the total number of Mastery Points you should be expecting from your previous accomplishments in Tyria. That said, the different stories really are fantastic, and should definitely be experienced, but for your own pleasure, and not for Mastery Points.
If any of you still think you are missing MPs from Achievements you’ve completed, let us know via the in-game Bug Report tool and we’ll try to identify if there’s a bigger issue happening.

If u wanna the new legendary stuff you have to ruin the game to other player
Legendary armor:
one achi force you in one raid phase to not help your squad for hold a torch
I dont know if there are other achievement for the armor that force you to do useless stuff while your party try do do their best, i saw this achi and inchose to dont screw up my friends

Legendary pvp backpack:
Win ranked turnament with all the classes for different time
So if u dont know how to play a classes who care just play it and loose several time ruin the match to other players who try to win using the main classes

I really love raid this is the best part of game imho, i like the fractal backpack collection is a nice idea, gliding is so fun

What i dont like is:
gw2 turned in a platform game, i never loved jp and all new zone is a big jp, but this is not a problem, im not the only gw2 player on earth someone love it and like ti grind stuff.
But there is a thing who hurt me alot, for doing legendary armor you have to play in this area, so farm mastery etc etc
I m not a farming lover but i prefear farm token like dungeons, and imho the legendary armor should be earned with special tokens, timegated per week so ppl dosent farm it, where you have to activate inside a raid a challenge mode, like fractals if u complete it u gain this special token

So you want a token system for the raid, so people can just farm up the first boss?
I’m not sure what you are getting at? personally I don’t care what they do with raids, I have no interest in them at all. I can’t even bring my self to look for a group to even try it.maybe once people start clearing it with ease, and there are good walk throughs online, I’ll look into it.

no, because imho if u kill the first boss u take the token once per week, if u try to kill him again in the same week, u should take nothing

i dont really understanding what anet wanna do with this game, its pretty obvious their goal has changed since release, it was a “no farming game” and i join it because i hate to be forced to play something more and more if i dont wanna do it, now its time for mastery farm, collections for everything, so u have a “todo list” i like the fractal backpack collection, because is something made for fractal inside fractal, but what is the purpose for the other things? what i like in other games when u play the hardest content like raids, you will take the more rewarding token/armor in the game, in gw2 you will complete the raid, spending hundred hours trying and golds with buffs, for be able to buy some ascended chest?! wth is faster and cheaper play dungeons, wvw and forget about ascended, but if u play the game with this way, you will play the “older gw2” everything new will be discarded.

I think anet trying to keep alive this game, giving to player thigs to do, like every mmo company does, but this way is really worst (imho ofc) than grinding armor and that’s why:

general life in others mmo

1) lvl up
2)start doing istanced tier1 pve, when u reached your almost full t1 set, u can enjoy t2 istance
3) play t2 istance, A COMPLETLY NEW ISTANCE, not the recycled istance
4) same as before with higher tier
at the end you will play different istance for become more powerfull, but if u like to play with other players raid and dungeon isnt not too bad, you will always feel to be motivated to play game for reaching higher tier, is not awesome but it work
5)raids, better gold/armor rewarding than normal dungeons, but harder

life in gw2
1)lvl up, better here than other game, we have to declare it, open world and lvl system is awesome here
2)reaching reaching lvl 80 u can stard doing dungeon for fun and token (if u do it before u will be kicked because of lvl)
3)u have your full exotic and u can do almost everything in game and this is freaking good, thanks for this anet!!
4)if u wanna do fractals u should start to make ascended set, and this is good too imho

now there is all the problems

5) after a while u play fractal and u rise up from lvl u see nothing will change basically, mystlock is a nice idea, but u have ever the same istance, u should enjoy for a while but not for playing too much

6)if u wanna keep progress you have to lvl up your masteries so click on your character panel and look what do u need for take the points, so you will start to farm stuff maybe u dont wanna do it, like jp, expensive collections etc etc if u are a “dungeon/raids lover” this things is start to hurts, like collections does

so there is no much points to play fractals, raids or other stuff, because isnt rewarding, and is not about gold, but about strenght of set, or skins, because you just need to farm collections/events or screw up inside raid making wipe your party for turn on a torch (this is one of the stuff you have to do for legendary armor collection)

and all this collection/mastery farming for what?

i dont wanna push gw2 in an older farming tier gear, but if i was the anet ceo my directive should be something like that for pve

A) Istanced content

if you like or not a path, a purpose is important for us, so:
_no modify on older dungeon, should be just an introduction, onestly i like the gold nerf, they should be good for learn how does istanced content work on the game, and reward the players with the current token system granting them the acces to full exotic set, after you have it you can start to do fractals

fractals:
100 lvl is good, but every 20 lvl they should be differnet istance, not the same but harder
with fractals you should be able to make/buy a full ascended armor (and something like a full challenge path for the ascended back)

its fine for me spend golds for the ascended weapon, and is nice to have trinkets/amulets/rings from guild commendation, laurel and karma

legendary set:
armor back and weapon should be avalaible from raid token only w/o the farming option where u will kill the first boss over and over, just token and rng token box as bonus loot from bosses
trinkets/amulets/rings should be avalaible from a vendor ONLY when u have a full ascended sets, buying with alot of karma and laurels, so u can play WHAT U WANT and earn this stuff

balancing gold/karma is the key for avoid farming events/stuff

I ve tryed the jp on sw following the dulfy guide, but im fallen in a wrong place and i didnt found a way to go back, after 40 min jumping there and watching the video i wasted my time, ive tryed to lf this kitten legendary champ on sw also asking in map but they dont like to spawn if i lf them, i ve tryed to lf organized tt but i found bad experience all failed, i ve tryed to ask in lfg tool tor drytop t4 for the achivement but ppl seems to be all on sw and new maps

I really give up, if this is the way anet wanna i play the game i dont like it, i chose this game because of non farmimg/grinding stuff but now i feel forced to do stuff i dont like, now i hope raids will not require other MP and i hope they dont push too far the game over this way if they dont “spam” more MP over the contents

Lets see what happens but this is the first time i really think to lf another game and quit this one, because now im not in rage for something but im disappointed for the way they r running, i dont like armor/tier farming but onestly atm i prefear it because these new tier unlock new content and u earn it doing dungeons/raid not jumping around or spending alot of money on fashion achievement

My purpose is not to offend the game but to send them a message hoping they will come back for be more friendly, because isnt possible to play since bwe have 14,5k AP but dont have the “right one” which gave u enugh MP

There are far more mastery points available than needed for the classic tyria mastery line. Tripple Trouble for example is probably one of the hardest or most time consuming to get.

Maybe going for different mastery point rewarding achievements might solve your problem.

I ve looking for all the ways i didnt earned yet, im not on pc this moments but more ore less that s the list
_living story achievement (8 or 9 MP for that)
_3 on sw, depending on casual spawn, i ve camped a bit different maps but they didnt spawn, i ve searched the location so i know where they should spawn
_golden badge and jp on sw i hate it but i will do with a guide (but i hate to be forced to do something i dont like)
_i ve finished my personal story for one point (i cant enjoy it too much because my english is bad, and i prefear dungeons fotm an raids when will come, not solo story)
_fashions achivement are too expensive for me
_fractal skins i have it but is bugged
_triple trouble force me to found a community ts, be online at certain hours and do it at least 3 time
I can go on sw for badge jp and do some other try for the casual legendary, can try to do TT multiple time but these points are not enough for complete the mastery path

I feel punished because i ve played what i liked, now i cannot complete the legendary mastery because i ve spend my time in dungeons fractals wvw and spvp instead farming achievement, player who done it are already rewarded by AP chest

I understand players who like do these stuff doesent understand my opinion, because they have it just playing what they like, but immagine if u cant unlock stuff because anet putting all MP on spvp instead achivements

I’m someone who dont really love to go for achivements, i’ve 14k AP just with playing since beginning, shoudnt be low, but now with mastery points i’m becoming crazy., because i cant complete last 2 step of tyria mastery, i miss 15 mastery point, so i’ve opened the panel H for lf someone, now i should do the story with achievement, because every step give one mastery point (8 or 9 in total) i should find some TS community for do trible trouble (again wtf) 3 times!! for every heads, lf 2 champ who spawn randomply in silverwaste (already tryed different time, but they doesent spawn) spend trilion of gold for some “fashon” achivement wich give these mastery points… spend alot of time doing stuff i dont like to do

now mastery is a new kind of progression, i’d like to have it for completing more challenging content, or have more of it, for example from wvw and spvp, because if someone love play these mode, doesent mean dont like pve…

i think really absourd players who play since beginning are punished because they dont have hours per day for playing or ppl like me who just spended time for play dungeons, fractals spvp and wvw, instead lf AP

i really hope anet will give us more mastery, or other way for reach them, is frustrating after 3 years of playing come back from work, and be forced to do something you dont like for reach mastery..

When i started to play i loved some jp but after a while they became a nightmare, and now with the new maps is even worse, i dont have world maps completition for that reason, so i never started to make a legendary weapon, and now i even dont expoore the new maps, i ve just done the story, and i dont think to go back in these maps

Look at druid he heals alot with a full dps build, look elementalist water skils, guardian breeze etc etc, i have a full healing set for both and the change between a full zerk and full healing is not too good compared to the dps loss

Hi all i dont wanna open an arena with player who fight each others, just a whish list, something you should do if u became the new anet boss, take it as a “forum game”, but with a constructive lists and good idea we should throw something good to the real boss

There is my list
1)newer dx/vulkan

2)all classes able to do any role is nice on the paper but have alot of balanced issues, so i d prefear a step back where there is a dedicated classes for each role

3) high level contents who need a dedicated role, is nice have normal dungeon where u can play as u want with pugs, but i d like to have some kind of fractals (w/o agony) where from some kind of higher lvl (50 for example) you need to lf some kind of role, same for raids. I know this make the issue " wait for x and y" but with friends and guilds and a better lfg tool shoudnt be a real problem

4) exotic gear should be as is it now with normal dungeons, ascended stuff with fractals and raids, nothing about expensive stuff, just tokens

5) i hate farming area and contents like silverwaste but someone love it, so should be nice to farm token for that area (will allow you to gain skins) instead of mats and gold who usually destroy the market with inflaction, so farmers can farm areas for have awesome aestetic stuff

6) split stats, traits and ability from gamemode for make easyer and more balanced the contents

7)deny are exploit like farming mastery, or a single content like one faster fractal as i see on lfg

I really think healing should just be thrown out.
All or most professions that have viable heal specs already have traits, if not entire trait lines, dedicated to empowering the healing they do.
As i understand it ANet has tried to maintain the ’self-sufficiency ideal, where every characters has the ability to sustain themselves through the generally expected level of damage.

Healing cannot be too powerful because then a group of druids in full nomad gear would be able to render all pve laughible and wvw utterly farcical. For this reason, and unlike power, healing power needs to have poor scaling on a high base so that all healing numbers fall within the narrow “balanced” range where They’re effective at low investment level but not excessive at high investment.

Since the ‘healer’ professions already have traits to increase outgoing healing, i think it’s time to let those carry the weight and just get rid of healing power entirely.

I m not lf easyer content, i just think have another role should be nice, i dont wanna change how self healing skills work, but i d like other healing ability will be nerfed as base but become more powerfull with a full HP setup
Every players, me on first, wanna a balanced game i dont lf an healing skill who will heal 30k to all players each 5 seconds, but isnt funny see a full zerk, sinister character with a high healing skills, this sound to me unbalanced.

All the content we have doesent need a dedicated healer, self healing is enough i’m asking it for raid and high lvl fractals

Hi all i play the game since bwe, i dont like too much lf achuvement point u like to enjoy the game as i wish, i play pve, spvp and sometime wvw.
My problem now is i dont have enough mastery point for complete a track i am at 2/4 and i need 15 more for complete. I m here for asking to anet to give those point also for other achivement, pvp player for example are completly cutted out, no MP for champion title or other stuff.
I just hope also not achivement farmers could reach some results without be pushed for it, in my case i will never go for those achivement i didnt complete yet because i find them boring.

Hoping to be listened from anet and not be hated from players who have 15 hours per day for play the game abd spend the other time to hate everyone who have a life

How can add the 3th agony slot on my items? And what kind of item should be upgradable with those? Only rings or also other stuff? I also read some kind of bug you cant upgrade your current ring is it true? There is a solution or should i buy new stuff?

elite is something will change your gameplay and give it to you more fun, that’s why should be nice earn it w/o be forced to do something you dont like, should be avalaible in every game more, fractals, spvp, www, and ls

You only have to unlock mastery once.
Its account bound.

It took me 6 hours to get all the Hero Points I needed for my Berserker, following 1h for Chronomancer.

I’ll have the other 6 done tomorrow (- Herald).
Considering they only need 13 challenges each

You have several types of Exp boosters that stack.
This was the perfect time to use them

there is any other ways to earn hero points?
the ways i know is: lvl till 80 and then only with the hero points on map

problem is, for the elite spec, for have those HP i have to do story and events discovering the new maps, i like to spend 2 hours to the new maps, but it need alot more, and we also have the JP version 2, onestly i feel really frustrated when i cant reach some point, i’ve avoided all the JP in the “core” of tyria, because i dont like it, but now i’m pretty forced to do it if i wanna play my spec, the worst thing is, i have 8 character…. i’d like to bring the new spec almost for 2 of them, but i really dont this maps again with the second one, it’s pretty boring even with the first.

i dont wanna say content is bad and blablabla (map is really beautifull, and i like to glide) just JP isnt for me, my first copy of assassin creed is become a fresbee

i love gw2 because more or less is something like “play what u want” but now is not more like that, so i hope anet bring for the nearly future, something else for this hero point, like they done with dragonite ore when they release it

Make an istanced hard raid content doesent mean you have to stay 8 hours inside every day, this is your opinion not the truth, if you want it go play wow.
I cant understand how you can say your idea isnt selfish if deny to alot of player to enjoy contents, the limit should also be about “be a good player” not about “if you have no life you can play it” there is alot of korean game with this philosophy, quit gw2 and enjoy them.

This game lack of content but some players lack about “real life” and altruism, if you wanna deny players to play it because you have alot of time there is no other word than egoism, that s it, you should like it or not but this is the fact.

No one says you’ll have to stay 8 hours in there every day. Again: They’re split into multiple wings and you get rewards from each boss once a week. That’s plenty of time. Also, we don’t even know how long they’re going to be. Maybe they’re just a hour to 90min per wing.
Dedicating 2-3 hours on 3 days a week (Which can very well be Fri, Sat, Sun) to something you enjoy isn’t “having no life” either.

So you should read again what i wrote, because is not different what r u asking for. I write it again i told should be nice have different instance/path/wings with max 2-3 hours each for 2 path/wings and the 3th with some mega encounter wich need 30-45 min but very hard (so will be more time if you wipe)
The other important point i wrote is about have a chance to do every wings/path with different party, so you can do p1 with some guys p2 with others etc etc so you will be no locked if some players of your first path will be no online

Raids are meant for players who can put time and effort into them, so I fail to see the issue there.
Clearly, there is enough different content for you too, even if you don’t have the time for raids; “just go for the new event maps, masterys, new legendary, fractals etc etc” as you say.

No, there is content for everyone, but not all content is meant for everyone.
People who want to do the raid will find time for it. Believe me.
I mean, do you see people with PCs barely fulfilling minimum requirements to play this game kitten about ANet that they can’t play WvW and that they should lower the graphics even further so they can? No? Thought so. Same with raids, just that here it’s “unwillingness to make some free time or lacking it” instead of “unwillingness to spend money or lacking it”
This game seriously lacks things to do if you’re mainly into instanced content (and no fan of soloing, I guess), it’s only going to get worse with dungeons throwing off less money and we can’t be sure yet about how many fractals we can run a day for rewards/how long that’s going to take. Raids are something lovers of instanced content can invest time into, with the whole thing being split up in multiple wings AND the rewards being timegated so that you can only get something from each boss once a week.
You’re the selfish one here since you apparently can’t make enough free time for raids and thus want them to be short so that you can run them, ignoring those who actually want the raids to take longer than CoF p1 (because that would be ridiculous)

Make an istanced hard raid content doesent mean you have to stay 8 hours inside every day, this is your opinion not the truth, if you want it go play wow.
I cant understand how you can say your idea isnt selfish if deny to alot of player to enjoy contents, the limit should also be about “be a good player” not about “if you have no life you can play it” there is alot of korean game with this philosophy, quit gw2 and enjoy them.

This game lack of content but some players lack about “real life” and altruism, if you wanna deny players to play it because you have alot of time there is no other word than egoism, that s it, you should like it or not but this is the fact.

i try to suggest to anet something i think is very important, because have more instance of raids, with a gameplay with 2-3 hours max per istance, isnt so strange, because normal ppl have a life, a work etc etc if you dont have a life or if you mother is the GB queen so you can play 18hr per day every day of your life, i’m happy for you, but the world is not like this, there are alot of ppl have 2-3 hours per day (alot of ppl have really less time), and this free time isnt ever at the same timing, sometime someone have free the afternoon, and sometime night, what i’m suggesting, is to make multiple istance raid, so you can start and finish the istance in one session, and if you have a truble to play with them the day after, you can do the new instance with other players.

immagine the raid is for 5 hours, so you have to split it in 2 days, the first day, no problem, the second day one mate of your previews team isnt online and you dont know why, another guy told isnt avalaible after 9pm another one isnt avalaible before 8pm… so your entire party screw up, and you cant continue your raid.

this is really a bad raid experience, and i’m here because i know this issue can be avoid, making different path/wings, like dungeons, so you can do path/wings 2 with a complete different party you done path1

should also be good have different timings for raids, for example p1 and p2 something like 2-3 hours max each, so for example ppl can do that (if the reset day is friday/saturday early morning) 1 path saturday, 2 path sunday (usually these days are free for the most ppl) and p3 during the week days (or ever sunday if they want) but i’d like to have a p3 with a big boss with some cool mechanics, so if you know how to deal with him you can complete in 30-40 min, otherwise you will just fail…

i’m not saying nothing new, i’ve just played other mmorpg and i saw the 2 kind of philosophy, that’s why i wanna give this suggestion, an easy one, but very very important.

and dude, if you have alot of free time, just go for the new event maps, masterys, new legendary, fractals etc etc, and if is not enough, go out and enjoy the sun

I just hope this raids doesent need plus than 3 hours per week i d like to have MORE istance but not a long one, i dont wanna spend my time hopeing to find the same guys every days for continue the same istance and i dont wanna play 8 hours in a day for doing it. In other games i ve played if the party know how to the raid was from 30 min till 3 hours depending on raid, but u doesent need the same party, you do an istance than when u start it another one you are able to change all the party

What’s the difference? It should count the same if you play during the weekend at the end of the cycle, or during the weekend at the begining of the cycle…

difference is if the raid is long, or if you fail, with my suggestion you have at least the other days for finish it, but if the reset is monday you have just saturday or sunday

maybe i’m wrong (i hope so) but i heard the reset day will be monday, i think this is an orrible idea, because usually ppl have more time during the weekend for organize party and play, the rest of the week someone work, someone study, someone start to work early in the morning and cant play during the night and someone start to work later so can play during the night, but cant start it during the “playtime”, so should be nice have as friday the reset day, so when raids will start, ppl should have all the weekend for play it, because the most of ppl have saturday and sunday free, and this is why (i think) in other mmorpg i’ve played the reset day is at the end of the week

this is why healing power and healing skills system is broken, they should decrease the base healing and make it scale better with healing power, just as the outgoing damage do with power

everyone know HP is broken, isnt possible to do 200 dmg as base and with a full zerk transform this 200 in 2000, and have a 200 healing as base and with full HP build transform it in 300
i think anet know this, what i dont really understant is why they didnt change it yet, because of new contents, will be really nice (high lvl fractal and raids) have this stuff already balanced, so player can go better inside his role, otherwise will be just a big joke, just keep going for dps and sometime click the healing stuff, same as before, but now someone else will help your skill n° 6

Except druid i think staff ele is a ver good healer i m doing a try and with water attunement just the autoattack heal for 1k, 500/s withbshotng mist plus skill 3 and 5, with the tempest healing skill you will also have another aoe healng you can also blast your water field, when u attune to water or dodge you heal around 3k… Imho is a very good healer over time with some decent burst healing

I just hope anet will fix healing power for make it scale better
