There is an option to buy waypoints. You need a friend though.
I already have the waypoints I need, so no to answer the question though.
So, um, why does even ranged exists, then?
Really?
Did you watch it? It’s by no means rude or mean.
Ignoring. Disagreeing. Or you know, just being reasonable and acknowledging that they have deadlines, and not every suggestion can be worked on.
Yeah. People normally salvage to get crafting materials for themselves if it’s exotic.
My guess is they met someone who heard the same question multiple times before they got on the map. It rubs some people the wrong way when they think the other player could just be typing /wiki (anything here) in the game chat and a window would pop up answering them precisely.
Some vets or hardcore new players just need a reminder that the game doesn’t do anything to inform truly new players about what resources we use all the time are. The most helpful is that /wiki command you can use in game. Then there’s things like gw2effiency.com for finding things across your account, crafting, and much more. Then there’s taco which will give you a huge amount of map info as an overlay which normally is only known from playing the game extensively. I don’t use it, because I play the game extensively / already know the things it’s telling me. Then there’s things like ReShade to make your game prettier, and a different overlay called augmented Tyria that helps you map complete at max speed. I don’t use either of those two at the moment, but they’re very nice.
You’re not near them so you shouldn’t get buffs from them. End of story.
Range being near melee still doesn’t have to deal with actual melee range mechanics. Nothing you’re saying deserves the entire game becoming easier for literally no reason.
You’re assuming a lot, and not helping your argument. I agree policing what people think is very detrimental, but those aren’t the kind of reports I make. Most of my reports are of gold sellers, back when they were a bit rampant. Now it’s just of the malicious trolls and people promoting hate speech.
Trolls fish for responses. Nothing about what they do should be supported. If you’re just talking about swearing, and bringing up dark things. I do that myself constantly in map chat. It’s what makes for the funny conversations.
Are you insane? I have the max of 2,000 material storage. Do you not know the numbers you’re casually asking for?
Stop promoting reports as useless people. You can stomp your feet all you want, but if there’s no record they can’t do anything. There’s no way to know for sure of course, but I’m almost positive the really bad eggs I’ve blocked and reported are either gone now or were warned.
There were hero points worth 10 in the beta so it’ll be the same as HoT.
But one of the naming rules is to not name characters after copyrighted characters. Right or wrong, we agreed to not name a character Mickey Mouse.
Source: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-naming-policy/
Using even the flat out name would be fair use, but it’s safer for the game to avoid any issue with it entirely in it’s rules. So yes we did agree not to do it, but at worse you just get asked to change it. So technically correct, but it’s common place, non-harmful, and possible since to the best of my knowledge they don’t add the huge database of copyrighted material to be not allowed in name creation.
And I don’t think a character named Dawn soap would be asked to change.
I just want different guild chat colors so I can, read everything more easily. And no stop suggesting to make different tabs for them. It’s a work around that exists, but isn’t helpful for what I want to see.
Two warhorns! I’m just being difficult though lol
Names alone do not have copyright protection. So just mentioning the name of a character won’t be copyright infringement without more.
Just because you assume Mickey Mouse is a banned player doesn’t change how copyright works.
Copyrights in no way shape or form extend to in game names… it’s kind of common sense / research before saying it’s because of copyright. For example just type in Mickey Mouse to see that the name is already in use.
If you need hype to play I don’t know what to tell you. Nearly everyone I’ve met here, is anxious and excited that we won’t be able to keep up with the new release schedule. Festivals mixed in with the godly schedule Mo has made and followed through on is going be insane.
You don’t know what you’re talking about shrug
The argument in every game ever has been there needs to be more diversity, because current meta is current meta. There just isn’t a way to make every choice viable, that’s just what having choices means.
Going back to multi-classing though? I don’t think so. The only thing similar to the two games is the lore. The classes that were similar are now essentially completely different, and there isn’t even close to a good reason to damage the game that badly. All you have to do is say a different combo to know it a horrible idea not to even be considered.
Daredevil/Tempest, Tempest/Druid, or anything else. You could argue that they’ll only have a few things, but then that falls directly into balance that has to be done, because all the hard content becoming easy content would instantly kill the game. And lastly what you’re asking for is another core system rework.
I’m going to make Eureka, because it’s less pronounced then the other legendaries. That’s how I felt about Nevermore when I made it as well. They just look the most like a legendary weapon to me. Like I love H.O.P.E. as an example, but I’ll never make it because the footfalls and arm effect just seem to eclipse the style of character I want to make.
A night option and choosing between backgrounds would satiate all parties.
I really like the character select screen, but I’ve always wished there were more options. Switching between HoT and PoF screens would be very nice, but if you can. Please let us have better layout options for our characters. It does look very nice for the normal 5 slots or around that number for most of the player base, but it just feels punishing/confusing if you have more then that.
It’s kind of an unfun game of guess how far away the character you’re looking for is.
I agree with a consume multiple drop down. Nothing else. A level 80 boost is a different thing.
What casuals want would kill any game immediately. All content eventually becomes old hat, and easy to do as videos come out and people become familiar with what’s new. Making easy to do content in an mmo is just immediate game death with no replayability. For me I played the most casually during my time in HoT, where I took things slow and just explored the maps ignoring meta events for a long time.
And the meta events are fun! It just wasn’t what I wanted to do when experiencing the new lush and beautiful maps.
Nothing in core tyria is locked behind events, and map completion pretty much only refers to core tyria for the gift. If you want a gen 2 legendary then it’s only the 4 HoT maps, which yes have the event locked areas. Aurora you do pretty much everything in every season 3 map, which actually excludes map completion.
So basically I fail to see the problem since it sounds like you’re talking about the new areas of the world which already have the quality of life to get there. Season 3 has the portal stones, and HoT has the option of just walking straight out of either of the guild halls. You also can’t have easier forms of completing maps because you have a chance of BL keys/other rewards.
Basically the only quality of life that’s missing from going to a different character is not having waypoints, but the item that helps with that already exists.
You have no rights to a group you don’t want to start yourself. Just the basics of the lfg system.
It would be only 78 tomes because you’re lvl 2 when you leave any racial tutorial instance. However nothing about that equates to a fully geared character, or a reason to trade for something when you already have the things that make you lvl 80. So just a flat out no. What you’re asking for isn’t the same.
I love these cats though, and I don’t understand the complaint. They remain achievementless pointless and fun. Something where whenever you’re asked why you did it the reason is only, “I wanted the cat ^.^”
I guess it kinda just depends on your content as well. WvWers probably had an incredibly easy time getting the blue and yellow and didn’t feel the price. I do nothing but fractals, so I kinda don’t feel the price for Simon. I know he’s the most expensive one, but it was worth it to me.
So I just can’t understand the complaint that they need to remain cheap otherwise they’re no longer fun. It just doesn’t make sense.
If zooming out to max, and disabling motion blur doesn’t help I don’t see how the devs can help. It’d be amazing if they can pin point the issue and help the people having the problem with some sort of new slider, but there is not even a color blind mode for the game. I’m not saying that to bag on them or anyone, but I don’t think it’s healthy to delete core features.
Animations aren’t frills to me, and organic/realistic ones are better for your mind to comprehend. Which might be the cause in the first place. It does feel like riding a mount, so the fix might be a slider that adds different animations that distance people from visuals that mimic the experience too well. Changing the controls of the mounts however is just a flat out non-discussion. Nothing about not being able to strafe causes motion sickness.
Probably anyone who spent money on a pass? Everyone in the entire game can get that portal stone whether they played gw1 or not.
Well… they killed ritualist even before Cantha expansion, now Revenant – Renegade will summon spirits (Chars spirits). Sad.
The first revenant we know of is a charr
I don’t understand this high rank of idiocy
It’s foretold that the next expansion will have ascended trinkets apart of the collections for the new elite specializations. He might not need s2 of s3.
The story for s3 is awesome though. I really enjoyed the end of s2, the beginning wasn’t my type of storytelling though.
Convincing them to make a new set that is featureless is a very hard sell. The current chaos weapons could potentially fill that void for you, but I don’t want to see the backlash for a new set that is basically weapon silhouettes if it’s complete black.
Looking around it’s just one of them so you can still continue story It’ just very scary seeing that shield on the bugged one.
The white mantle cleric you have to learn the first mastery from has a shield strength of 4 billion. So there’s no way to kill her.
Hmm both appear to be the wrong boss apparently :/
Orrian Gorilla Sinew and Orrian Venom Glands are not dropping from their respective bosses. I only killed the Gorilla once then it turned into a huge grub? A bit confused on that event chain. Anyway I killed the Unchained Spider hidden away above the waterfall four times and no one in any of my groups have received it.
The shackles of madness gloves skin is a skin that looks like prisoner shackles. Amazing amazing skin that everyone could use. Why don’t people use it? The chain on the shackles is as stiff as a board.
So please add physics to them this Halloween. That would be my Halloween miracle.
I want to buy it T^T
It’s sad seeing people looking in someone else’s basket and complaining that they have the same things. The new players have the living worlds they missed, there’s absolutely no need to alienate them to make a “veteran” happy that it’s harder on them.
I agree with being allowed to name all your characters the same thing / having the option to just use your account name. I have a lot of friends that would very much enjoy that since they basically do it already. You already own the name. Whether a person is talking to your ele or necro wouldn’t matter since it’s still you.
Allowing everyone to use any name is a huge no no though.
What you decide to do doesn’t equate to what everyone else does, and doesn’t help your argument to invite dead bodies to participate in the game.
No one is arguing for stream lined anything on this side. You need to address some delusions that anything we have said validates your point. There’s no solution we are looking for, because no one can see a problem.
I don’t roleplay, but I don’t see why people are against these new options. A new chat would be great for finding random roleplayers. At the same time it’ll never step on the toes of the people vehemently against all roleplay. The problem I’ve always seen with them using emote chat is that it causes people to disable it if they don’t like the spam. It also feels like we’re sweeping them under the rug like they don’t belong.
I just like street performers, and want to be able to hear the good ones.
The lobby would take a bit of work if it’s a place, so maybe not, but a new chat would be very simple.
The player base doesn’t want it to change and Anet doesn’t want it to change. Rewarding dead bodies is never going to happen. It’s very odd that a few posters here think there is some sort of discussion to be had.
Inviting any form of just hitting something to a certain point then afking for full rewards when dead has absolutely no chance of happening. Just entitlement to the fullest when we were given auto loot not too long ago.
Nonsense. Everyone loves vanilla ice cream. Clearly they aren’t trying hard enough when they make skins *flavors. -How I feel every time these posts come up.
Proximity. It’s most notable in Vale Guardian if the tank gets himself teleported away. The boss will then look at either who has the most toughness or who is the closest if everyone is tied. So if it’s the same from the start he should chase whoever is the closest.
The clearest solution is just to have auto loot gather the loot from the entire map from any mob that dies.
So annoying when a game has active players in public areas. What a joke lol
I vote a hard no. I know there will be an immediate “Oh you read it, but don’t want to comment!!”. I think Gaile reads most of everything. There just isn’t a reason to have an official response to everything.
I agree. I’ve never seen these waypoints uncontested. All the guild missions waypoints need some love as well.
