You are not using your time efficiently. I have 4250 hours played and I have made 6 legendaries, 2 full ascended armor sets(heavy and light), 2 full sets of ascended trinkets and filled in the gaps of my non legendaries with ascended weapons. Also have all available crafts to 500 minus leatherworker. And yeah pvping is not a way to get rich. If you had pve’d like I do, you probably could have made all this easily too.

with thousand “overflow” , dynamic event will now be harder and different time on each overflow. you want to organize Teq? plz enjoy PUGs or fight with less people because your overflow is full and 99% of people in that overflow dont want to do teq or busy farming at that time.

mining iron ore right now while it was high. at Gallowfield waypoint. there is 1 rich + 6 iron node in a close area, you can get close to 1g for 5-10 min.
join LA event and sell loot while t still high.
after that you can do dynamic event….

Can someone help me as to why I cant make gold and be wealthy? I don’t spend money on anything, I farm dungeons now and then, I WvW, I flip on the TP, I farm to craft, yet I only end up getting like 4-5 gold a day. When I flip on the TP things that haven’t sold in weeks are still there, when I do dungeons I get like one gold, when I farm to craft i get like three depending on how much stuff I do, yet I see an NPC charr betting 20 gold on a shot in Orr. Please, what am I doing wrong?
well, its been 1 and 1/2 year. with no expansion planed so when will we getting new classes? i hope Anet doesnt plan to let us play all these class for the rest of GW2 life time?

Dynamic event is the top one but its capped. so use gw2stuff.com do all events everyday.
Second is high lvl dungeon with fast path such as cof p1, COE, HOTW. they give good amount of gold and token for first and second run. you can trade token into rare items and salvage them.
Third is crafting, Do champ chain or buy cheap material then craft high lvl rare items and salvage. make sure the cost isnt higher than buy from TP.
yes. you can send a ticket to support. they usually do this fast within 24h last time i used.
however. i dont think you get gems back. maybe they changed now.
we all know in high competitive zone like PVP/WvsW, even a slight mistake/misuse skill can cost you your life. the stats boost between Ascend and exotic might not be too many, but with weapon + armor, it does add up or at least not equal anymore. in GW1, you can just hop in anytime with white items and still can have equal ground with others player, the only different is skins. if you want cool skin you grind.
however, Anet is straying far from GW1 which make them success. they also said to make it less grind, but everything seem opposite with every update.
i was with GW1 since beta untill now but i think i had to part.
the price of gem doesnt go up. its the gold value are going down.
its take 20s to buy 100 gems at release and now it take 7-8g to buy 100gems
unless anet make gold crazy hard to get , otherwise , gold price will continue to go down and it’ll be harder to buy any others items, not just gems.

crystal is just an alternative of orb and you should buy and make immedietly.

right now, those stats is more for casual player whom doesnt want to change much.
in pvp u go either huge damage or huge survival, so those stats wont be any good.
the only time i can see those stats be useful is when anet make more use of condition damage. when they balance condition damage then those stats give you both raw and cond damage.
right now cond damage abit unbalance when limited to only 25 stack,
why not use cotton? it give more gold to new player so they wont be left out of inflation. it also make playing at low lvl zone more productive and fun.
i recommend to use more low lvl mats on high lvl craft.

in the 1 year of GW2 history. gems never go back. it either go up or moving around the balance point, up and down.
and with the gold inflation + holiday season coming. you know what will happen.
my guess is that it’ll go even as low as 1g =10 gems or worst. i already bought 20k when it was 1g =25gems. lucky my goal in gw2 isnt legendary so i stock some hundred K gems when it was 100 gems = 25s

its depending on player skill. but yeah, those people suck, pay no attention on them.
scepter or staff is more on how you use them.
skill 5 staff can stop and kd runner for like 6-7 sec, skill 4 can buff to 12 might for group and heal them. hammer skill 3 immobile, skill 5 stop/kd runner, skill 4 knock back runner.
so after all there lots of thing you can do, not just scepter skill 3.
Cond necro is good. but since u like range, its wont be a choice for u. cond necro is more about throwing all 5 staff skill and then jump in with dagger to deal close combat dps. you can use axe but it only 600 range. scepter is ok but its dps wont be good.
if you like pure range damage like ranger, staff -fire element is awesome, has 1200 range and high dps + high crit.
another choice is mesmer with phatasma build. simply using GS/Staff, keep your 3 phantasmas alive to deal damage + your own dps. mesmer is more fun than element but its have utility skill so people will ask you to do things like portal them.
Element : high dps, high crit, squishy
mesmer: fun, high dps, clone help keep u alive,
necro : ok dps, slow with weapon, hard to die.
ranger is on top of the list for what OP looking.
fast moving, short bow quick and easy tagging world boss, 3 traps throwing work as any AOE spell, trap quick recharging and stay until get activated. pet for tanking.
build: full zerk trait arrow pierce+ trap recharge and trap throwing
gears: full magic find with short bow
Necro is a good choice for group/crowded place farming.
super good at tagging many mobs, Marks and wells spell are all AOE, big with trait and can place on ground instead of trigger right away like element spell. that mean u had 8 AOE spell on your hand
build: staff build with mark big,damage,recharge fast. well trait with use ground target + recharge 20% faster.
Gears: full magic find if farming in crowded place like cursed shore,lost shore,
the best thing of these 2 class is you can place marks/traps ahead of time and stand for the kill instead of timeming spawn and cast AOE like other class
i’m running alienware laptop with same spec but 6Gb ram.
i’m telling you doesnt matter what spec your laptop is it’ll overheat in 3h game play.
so if you gonna buy a laptop for gaming, prepare yourself. the bigger your laptop (17>, the less heating it’ll get. but i dont recommend getting 17> because its wont be mobility and u should rather get a desktop.
as for the laptop spec, it can handle GW2 at normal graphic fine. if u want to run GW2 at max setting, it’ll overheat faster, can be around 2h of game play.
i’ve been playing since beta and i saw many people complain about Anet’s chest lottery.
personally, i agree with people are being rip off for a ridiculous low change to get skin that they want when they paying money for it.
the solution to this is i think Anet should nerf the drop chance of BLkeys or crate and then increase chance to get skin from chest.
if the drop chance for BLkey low, people will buy it from cash shop. and when they paying money to buy it from cash shop, they get skin they want. everyone happy.

i dont see the point of mesmer have no use when people talk about COE.
Mesmer can stack alpha just as good as any class with main sword.
Time wrap still godly for stacking kill alphas.
As for Robot, summon 3 phantasma disenchant then the robot’s boons as good as permanently gone . just make sure that u summon disenchant at different time so their attack sync.
they can portal people up or down when fighting destroyer.
Temporal curtain can pull alphas into corner for stacking,
there are so many things a mesmer can do in COE. as for other dungeon like COF they even have more role.

Time: On most week nites and try to run a daily,
Other: can coop with anything speed or none speed run. i want to join a guild that doing dungeon alot especialy arah.
problem is: if you are tired of your char warrior with LEGENDARY on his hand and want to have a silvary or asura with that LEGENDARY or limited items stay the same then 800g or 1k gems to change race mean nothing. you saved XXX gold and time to make another legendary for your asura/norn.
dont just talk about minor stuff and forget the big things.
if we look into big picture, we can clearly saw that gold is losing value overtime while gems getting higher and higher.
example: 20s = 100 gem in SEPTEMBER. now 1g =30 gems.
have you ever ask why there is precursor and T6 material domination on TP?
farmer not gonna keep all the gold and losing its value overtime. they will convert it into gems and then resell through gifting. this type of saving already happen when they invest into Precursor, T6 material and other skin items.
those character slot, bank, bag expansion and make over could be awesome sell for them. i bought around 100k gems when it was 22s =100. i wonder how much would i get in gold now.
so i disagree with “Gifting would have little to no effect on gems.” if that happen, gems price will go up to the point when u hardly able to buy it with gold.

The problem is that videos posted on December. before December, Dusk was just 30-50g and u can get 1 dusk out of every 20-30 try with yellow GS.
and then u know what happen, hoarder and Anet make Dusk go up to 700.
so, with the Precursor and T6 mats price right now , making 1 legendary atm is equal to making 4-5 legendary as before.
i prefer doing multile char cof p1 than zerker.
with 8 alt at lvl 80 and each alt do cof p1 3-4 times, i dont hit DR at all. the money alway 26s. token is 60-20-10 then repeat
also they dont buy it to use, they stock it till some months later and resell for ten time. like 200g. Greatsaw halloween skin is an example.
idk why people bother to buy that skin for 15-200g, i rather make vision of the mist for foefire or just go for legendary precursor
