I will be playing both.

WoW in the morning and early afternoon when my guildmates are at work.

GW2 in the evening when they are home.

How would any of us know?

I want to see what transmogs people have. Thats about it.

I am perfectly fine with ecto prices dropping, still need 200 to infuse backpack = w=)

Make the Gift of Exploration a consumable that gives 100% map completion to central Tyria, without any of the map rewards.

Same for Gift of Maguuma and the 4 HoT zones.

Only if the charr outfits are literally just them naked.

You can use the boost on a level 80 character and get all the stuff it gives.

This update was meant to be a large quality of life update with quality over quantity in content which it indeed delivered on i think we all can agree here.

Where is this large QoL you’re talking about ? I see minor changes, but nothing large.

Have you even remotely read the patch notes? or did you just skim through them, login thinking meh.

Some of these fixes have been around since forever like that awful dodge roll bug.

We all want beefy content & i think anet is moving toward that.

Fixing a bug that should have been fixed a long time ago is not a “quality of life” feature.

QoL is something like the salvage improvement.

Well, theres the better ping functionality, account-wide recipes, being able to queue for PvP outside of HotM, the fractal UI changes and stuff like that.

Playing devil’s advocate but I think the reason they are releasing season 3 slower this time is to dedicate more resources to the next expansion. Hopefully that means the next expac will be bigger and better than HoT, but we’ll see.

So basically, we have to buy more story, they ain’t giving it to us for free. The Living Story is more like Amazon letting you read a chapter in a book to see if you want to buy it.

Im quite sure the first and second seasons of living world were released on a chapter by chapter basis, and they all were free if you logged on during it

as I jhave already said mapping isn’t doinging anything within a map, simply running around, you have 15 minutes to spare you spend 15 minutes running from poi to poi simply mapping. Not trying to build participation.

If memory serves at one point achievement chest were brought in which rewarded badges of honour. As such you simply had to open your chests. and you had a back log if you had enough achievement points.

I don’t raid, but I feel like that would cheapen the rewards for raiding too much. I have a ton of laurels, but it seems too easy for me to just buy raid-specific rewards with them instead of having to raid, or do anything more challenging than simply waiting.

If they want to eventually introduce some alternatives, I’m open to that, but laurels seem too easy as an alternative to content that’s meant to be challenging.

Ascended armour was available long before raids, but is too expensive for most of people that dont have 6 hours per day to play.

how do you need to play 6 hours a day to get acended?

More like half an hour a day to get the materials for Wood/Metal and buy the stuff for cloth/leather.

Edit: Also good going anet with nerfing how much gold is made in fractals now. Spent 4hrs doing all the dailies and all I made was 17g while I use to make twice that amount within a hour before fractals were changed……Guess it’s back to dungeons.

It was not 6 fractals. It’s more like 14 and yes it took that long because of the dailies.

Ya know, doing the Tier 4 dailies completes the tier 1-3 ones.

The chainsaw also was a skin that came out the first year, since i started there has been a weapon version of one up on the TP.

Skins all used to be weapons, like the golden fractal ones.

Mesmer without any traits is horrid. And Open world stuff with mesmer in general before chronomancer is horrid.

I always see rangers inside of Not So Secret JP afking with like a trap or bonfire on auto attack. I assume they are doing it because of the blade shards.

I can see it being possible for having two specs sets being saved like WoW, but I am not sure if they could directly link it to your inventory. Even if it is technically possible, would it be utilized by enough people to warrant such a feature? Ever since the MF armor change, I don’t know many people carry two sets with them.

I feel like Warrior, Necro, Engi, Ranger and maybe Mesmer would be carrying around multiple sets. I know I do on my Ranger, Warrior and Engi.

Everyday things – Craft daily mats on 2 accounts, get mats from Pact Suppliers, hit up flax farm, Daily Fractals, Daily PvP participation.

Mon – Thurs – Hit Up SW Breach/VW farming for 6-8 hours. Guild Dungeon night on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Friday – SW Chest Farming for however many shovels I have. Guild Mission Night.

Saturday – Open all my SW chests from the week. Do stuff with guild.

Sunday – Alt leveling day, often bleeds into Mon-Tues.

Usually a few hours after reset I get off and do non-GW2 related things.

I just use karma to buy free Ori tools now that my free winterdays gathering tools is just about to run out from a year ago lol . For me gem store tools are more pricey than I think they should be for a one per character. Imagine if outfits were like this.

Im used to games where outfits were like that, wouldnt make much of a difference for me.
